I came in for the breakfast special. Instead of syrup on the pancakes I went with their 3 different salsas. Good service, good food, good price and very clean all around.

Stopped by for lunch on a Thursday. Not crowded, service was quick. Ordered house margarita. ($12.00) same price as my lunch. 👎 Not at all worth it. Very watered down. If there was even an oz. of liquor I'll be surprised. SMH waste of money. Food on other hand was good. Ordered chili releno lunch plate. $12. Good portion. Sauce was bland, Beans by far were highlight of meal. Gave them a 4 star because of beans. Realistically it's a 3 star at best. Food was bland and lacked flavor. The chips and salsa should have told mevwhat to expect. Salsa looked and tasted like ol el past. Definitely not home made. Overall disappointing nothing makes me want to return.

Other than the iceberg lettuce in my salad and the cheap blue cheese dressing that tasted like it was from a bottle, (definitely not homemade) the experience was okay. Service was okay but it is somewhat loud and distracting inside because there's no insulation from carpet and most of their decor is metal hanging ornaments so sound resonates; better to sit outside if the weather is nice and of course when isn't it?

Food was somewhat mediocre. There is a mix of American and Mexican food. If I owned this restaurant I would focus on making quality Mexican food and ditch the American food. Atmosphere is nice. Also has patio seating. Alcohol prices are ridiculous. A wine base margarita was $10.

It's a Mexican restaurant but with a large selection of non Mexican entrees like a grilled ham and cheese or a patty melt. The food is fine but I've had better versions of everything from other restaurants and the prices are very steep compared to similar restaurants. For example, the small albondigas soup for nine dollars had one albondiga (meatball) in it. The Chili Colorado burrito didn't have much seasoning or flavor in the meat. The service is always friendly. Overall, the experience is meh but the bill is whoa!

Update - September 2025 They have now cleared up the ordering challenge and you can get beans & rice as a side on the “non-Mexican” style breakfasts. I’ve updated the review to reflect this. Unfortunately service was still lacking, but food was good and price is fair. This place used to be our go to. Unfortunately we left before our server ever greeted us. After going to the bar to get some drinks on the way the gentleman came to take our order. Unfortunately on the new menu you can no longer have rice and beans as a side on the “non-Mexican” breakfast plates. That’s correct - if you order bacon and eggs…no beans for you! This all after waiting 10 minutes and never seeing a server. While we’ve been going here for years (under the previous ownership) we won’t be going back. Such a shame!

I eat there frequently and wife and I order different things. Tonight she wasn't too hungry so she ordered a taco and rice and beans. Pretty simple. The waitress brought the taco but forgot the rice and beans. I told her and she promptly brought them out. Here's the problem. They charged me $10 for the rice and beans! Not only should it have come with the meal as requested but their cost couldn't have been more than ten cents! I realize that prices have gone up but this was a pure ripoff.

Accidently ordered street tacos here. Wife handed me the phone she had clicked on the wrong place. Ordered 6 carne asada street tacos and one order of rice. Went to pick it up $40. I told my wife they prob screwed up the order cause no way are little street tacos $5+ each. Yeah they are. Wasn't expecting dollar taco night but damn maybe $1.89, $2.49, maybe even $3 each but $40 for six amd one serving of not so great rice? Aaand they taste like crap. I wasn't eating them but I like to pick because "usually" the meat itself is savory(seasoned marinated). I saw a chunk on her plate and literally exclaimed, "looks like just boiled beef". Popped it in my mouth and yeah, a boiled beef nugget. Asked for a bite of her taco and she literally said, "you're gonna need salsa." So yeah wont be back.

We won't be back. Bad service (took forever just to order because she was socializing and cleaning a dirty table when the rest of the place was empty) and the food taste like it's canned. The mozzarella sticks were definitely from a box and the sauce was cold. My grilled chicken salad came out with microwave chicken on top and brown pieces of lettuce. My husband got menudo which he said was either out of a can or, at the very least, frozen as there was no flavor at all. The chips and salsa were definitely out of a bag/can and just not good. We paid GOOD money for the meal so we ate it but it really wasn't worth the calories or price. Nothing here was worth the price they're charging.

This was our third time having Paula as our server and each experience is worse than the last , she’s incredibly rude and dismissive it’s clearly all about money for her. The only one who helped us properly, was the young lady with piercings, if not for her we would not be coming back.

Got a carne asada burrito with my boyfriend oddly found a carrot in the burrito and it lacked steak. Also, service was absolutely terrible never experienced dismissive behavior from a waiter in my life at a Mexican restaurant. I’m Mexican myself, never been treated that way. While we were eating he put the check on the table didn’t ask how the food was or if we wanted something else! No water refill, nothing. Save ur money support a diff Mexican business

Service is horrible at this place!!! Waiters sit at the bar with no care in the world to help their customers. You will need to walk over to get their attention just to get some napkins. We ordered both their menudo and pozole bowls and both came out cold! Someone needs to step in and Run this place with some hospitality and order!!!

Please read the reviews first...I wish I had. If I could give the food zero stars I would, it was that gross. I only took one bite of my chile relleno because it had a disgusting aftertaste and I had to drench my shredded beef taco in salsa to get some flavor. This is bland, Midwest/Pacific Northwest-tier Mexican food at best. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. Do not recommend it; it's a stain on California Mexican food.
