Opinions de DQ Grill & Chill Murrieta
It was a long line on a hot night. A big van I front of us ordered for like 5 minutes, a nightmare. Then out come the DQ employees. They took our orders, went inside, got out stuff and processed our payment. GREAT SERVICE!!!
Yummy blizzards. Awesome customer service! My niece wanted just a normal vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles and peanuts and they did it for her so nice!!
I got to the drive thru ten minutes before they closed, despite there being a long line, they took the order and gave us our food and ice cream very quick. I’ll definitely be back!!
Well kept and very welcoming. Bathrooms were clean as well as the tables and the food we recieved was quick and wonderful for a fast and relatively cheap meal to go. Will definitely return here very soon and hope our service will be jyst as good the second time as it had been the first.
Great place to get your blizzards. Sizes are extra big, a mini i think is perfect for the kiddos and a small comes to like a medium size we got the large and I think for me was too big too much..
Dairy Queen or DQ has some of the imaginative desserts and smoothies. They even have some what of a secret menu as I am able to order Blizzard flavors that are no longer on the posted menu. I always enjoy a trip to dairy queen, some stores offer only frozen desserts while others offer food items or items from the orange julius menu.
The staff here was amazing. DQ Shakes are the best. Something about them are just perfect. Just wish they had the Banana shake here. Came from South Carolina and they have the banana one out there but here they don’t. Other than that it was amazing.
I love this location! The employees are always friendly, quick with a smile and fast efficient service. They use REAL ingredients, unlike some other locations. The drive-thru line looks daunting but they move fast so the wait is never too long. I highly recommend this location!
Ice cream speaks for itself. It is always fresh and frozen perfectly. And you know them turning it upside down is pretty neat to watch. I usually get the oreo blizzard but today I tried a blizzard with just strawberries and it was amazing.
Great service, Ice cream always on point
The burgers and food are all made to order, and you can definitely tell the difference. Fresh and tasty! My favorite ice cream treat is their traditional hot fudge sundae, the best!
Such a long drive thru line when we went. But it went by pretty fast, there was employee's outside taking orders, they were friendly & courteous. when we received our order from the pickup window, everything was correct and delicious.
We came during a busy time in the evening. All employees we encountered were so nice and efficient. The drive thru line was out of the parking lot but they were getting everyone served quickly! Worth the wait!
We get all our cakes here and they are always a hit. I have been buying cakes here for years.
Ordered ahead from the website. Food was packed and ready for pick up when we got there. Super easy! So glad we ordered ahead because the drive thru line was at least 10 cars long.
Excellent customer service from Jenny, who made an on-the-spot custom drawing on my daughter's birthday cake. It was perfect and my daughter loved it. Thanks, Jenny!
Coronavirus has indoor dining closed. Drive through is long but, especially if they have someone outside taking orders, goes quick. Pre-order online people were just driving up and picking up their orders instead of waiting! Looked like the way to go!
The server was awesome! He works by himself a lot, but he does a great job each time. If u see the young man working by himself, be kind - especially if it’s a long line.
Food is very good (my kids love the various "Blizzard" treats as well as the burgers and chicken tenders), but what makes this particular location stand out for my wife and I is the service. The courtesy and respect from the staff taking orders at the registers is amazing! Lines were never long each time we went, and there is a drive-thru if you need to do a grab-and-go. Also love how it's close to California Oaks Sports Park, so after athletic camps or competitions for the kids at the Sports Park, this is the perfect spot to hit, especially during summer.
Fast especially walking in beat the drive thru line. This is one of the best DQs I would go to. The blizzards are always made right and service is pretty quick. Never a problem here. Just can be very busy. This Is why I suggest running in and grabbing your meal or tasty treats
Loving thia place! They have more than just ice cream. Fast and friendly.
The food was tasty, so fresh and delicious. Restaurant was very clean. Staff gave excellent customer service. I've decided to buy DQ, rather than Mickey D's or Jack in the box. Chicken strips are the bomb, my son loved them. Asked if I'd buy his strips now from there.
It's been awhile since I've had anything from Dairy Queen. To me it seems as if the menu has been revamped some over the last several years. I downloaded the app while seated inside the actual location. I've realized this is the best way to order out for me. I always get a great deal and the orders are usually accurate. I went all out tonight and ordered a Triple stack burger for the man of my house, a cheeseburger for myself, an order of onion rings ( absolutely delish) and a banana shake. Everything was well above average. The banana shake had pieces of fresh bananas! The service was helpful with a smile. The restaurant was clean and orderly. The prices were reasonable, and if you order through the app they'll knock off a few more dollars . I Definitely will return when I get another D. Q. craving.
My wife loves Dairy Queen. If we are anywhere close she will make me stop there. The drive through for ice cream works great for a quick pass thru! But when you go inside for a meal you will find it to be very clean and pleasant. We have been here many times with no complaints. 🙂
We stopped in for Blizzards and were greeted immediately by Javon. In the short 2 minute interaction, he was professional, warm, courteous and it was clear he loved his job. Hats off to Javon for giving outstanding customer service. Give this man a raise!
All of our ice cream was tasty and made just the way that we wanted. This was a busy night, but we didn't have a long wait. There were a lot of staff there, and everyone was busy working on orders. The drive-thru was bananas, cars were lined out to the street, but the service was quick.
This Dairy Queen is five minutes from my house and they always make the absolute best blizzards! I had a issue with one of my blizzards yesterday and the manager was so accommodating to remake a new one. The employees are friendly.
Service was very quick. The food here is really good, and it comes with a sunday. I always get the $7 special. Comes with three chicken tenders french fries a soda and a small sundae. All for that special price. Probably the best deal in town.
Went for a banana split with the missus and our schnoodle. The drive thru was busy but we were in and out in about 10 minutes. The person taking orders was friendly and efficient. When we got to the pickup window, they offered a "doggy trear" for our pet...a small bit of icecream with a dog biscuit in it. The banana split was great and apparently an ice cream coated dog biscuit was quite a hit. Thanks for the good dessert and dog treat!
DQ has the BEST burgers around. They are made to order, grilled to perfection, and I have found the service excellent. Also, if you love malts this is the only place I know that makes them anymore. Strawberry is my favorite. A great place to bring the kids for ice cream treats!!!
Drive thru for a chocolate dipped cone. Happiness for I'm ess than $5
Best place in the area for soft-serve ice cream and soft pretzels with cheese.
After seeing a movie, treated the family to an ice cream cone or sundae. Clean. Their soft serve is always great. When I've eaten there for a meal, I've always enjoyed it.
Just drove thru & bought a vanilla dipped in chocolate soft serve. It was so good!
The cleanest DQ I've been to. A-1 customer service provided by JAKE! He was quick to greet, take my order & had a very positive, friendly attitude while doing so. I ordered the slush float & a grilled cheese. Cost efficient & of course quality taste. The grilled cheese fresh off the grill was soooo yummy, imma cheese lover and they gave me the perfect cheese to bread ratio. Plenty of Ice cream cakes readily available. Had a great visit at this location, stopping in before I hit the road home! Handicap accessible, clean bathrooms and plenty of public parking available. Drive-thru available!
I love that this location has a drive-thru! The orange Creamsicle milkshake is my current favorite thing on the menu!! As far as food goes, I tried the mozarella sticks and pretzel sticks. Both were very tasty and enjoyable!
It's DQ! This review is for the DQ in Murrieta on Kalmia. In general, some DQs are nicer and cleaner than others. Some have better customer service than others. This one is always clean and has very good customer service. The food and ice cream has always been good and consistent. Today we had the Reese's Pieces blizzard and mint Oreo blizzard. Both were really good and the service was really good. I recommend this location.
My 95 year old dad LOVES coming here! Today, Feb 11, the dining room was packed! A large group of special needs kids came in. I have to give a huge shout out to Jake!! He took the ordered, was so kind and understanding to each and every kid! He hustled to get the orders to the table and smiled the whole time! He’s a keeper! He wiped tables, delivered napkins and condiments to those who needed them! Smiles the whole time! This is the kind of service that has disappeared since Covid! Thanks Jake for making our experience and the experience for all those kids, AMAZING! Keep smiling and working hard! I appreciate you!
My husband and I ordered Peanut Buster Parfaits. The fudge was nice and hot. The service with the lady at the register was excellent as far as friendliness and being professional. They gave my husband a Veterans discount. Our order was ready quickly. Kudo's to the young man making the orders.
Love the desserts here! We each got a plain cone and the ice cream was super creamy. It was delicious and the portion was actually pretty big. They also have a really wide menu with both food and ice cream treats. We came during a really busy time of the day and they were clearly backed up, but we didn’t have to wait super long. Everyone there was also really nice. The place itself was pretty spacious with lots of tables and chairs. We’ll definitely be back to try their other items! :)
"This ice cream is so good that I can't stop eating it" -my 7 year old son. The girl at the counter was super nice! When he asked for strawberry ice cream she told us they didn't have any, but she made him one with strawberry topping. He was so happy. This place is great to take a load off from the summer heat and chill for a bir in the AC.
Lady taking order didn't listen correctly at the inside counter. She began to make the wrong Blizzard. My Blizzard had more ice cream than my wife's.
Fast service. Clean store. Crew looked engaged and happy. Blizzard was mixed well and made correctly.
The food is good but they need to pay attention to presentation, as the burgers don't look like the pictures. Also the size of the sandwiches are turning smaller every time, like a kids meal. The ice creams and other desserts are very good
Stay away from the food. The blizzards and malts (odd that I don't consider these food) are great though. Stick to that, don't venture into the DQ burger zone. They don't do a great job with those. PS I am told that the thin mint blizzard are a texture and taste match to the real thing.
I was craving a banana split but was going to settle for a cone because I thought we didn't have a place that makes them in our area! But my husband surprised me because he asked if they made them and they do!!! IT WAS DELICIOUS!! So if your craving a cone, a float, a sundae, or even a banana split this is defo the place to go! They some pretty good hot dogs too! Lol
Good costumer service and a nice atmosphere but the only thing is the frys they are not the best but I still recommend eating here👌
Actually underwhelmed with the blizzards we got. Taste was lacking and they were all vanilla ice cream at the bottom so not mixed well at all unfortunately. But...for how long the drive thru line was...they moved relatively quickly through it. But maybe by not being soon top of things? Didn't even get the upside down flip over before we got our order handed to us.
The food and customer service were great and also the place was very clean
Dairy Queen is a pretty good place to go for ice cream treats. This place is one of them! The treats are good and usually leaves you full. I would not regularly go here for the sake of your health, though. It is a great reward for plenty of things, like graduation. They have plenty of seats, but some are a bit dirty. Its okay because there are lots of seats and tables, so you can easily find another table. The tables do not have waiters that go to your table, but you can order from the cashier at the front. For foods, it is not vegetarian. Plus, the sweet treats are also not vegetarian. If you are vegetarian, I would suggest looking elsewhere. If not, this place can easily fit your diet if you tell them about it. Same with allergies, too. The food item(s) take a while, but thats because its fresh! I would suggest going here!
Good ice cream - mint blizzard. Not liking their chicken strip and their fries - lack of taste and seasoning. They also have mobile app to earn points but they don't have a scanner to scan and earn points. Our visit was good and not too crowded. Definitely will visit again in the future. Only suggestion - wish they have sugar free flavor for their blizzard.
Went through the drive-thru, they had three people working the windowforgiving you food and then after having to wait forever in lineI get up to just before the car at the window and I realize it's taking so long because they are socializing at the windoweven with the people in the cars there socializing which in turn is making everybody having to wait. then they went to hand me food when it's only myself in the car and they couldn't even realize that maybe they should put a lid on one of my itemsthen the person working the window and helping me had to get help from somebody else to put the lid on. The product itself is awesome, but the customer service is seriously lacking to say the least...
Never had a problem here till today. Seems the food was either overcooked or previously cooked and left to sit. Not happy about the quality there today, and it seemed to take longer to get us the order, only two other people in the place and one car in the drive through at lunch time, maybe this is why
Customer service was great. The kids working there were earning their paycheck as far as that goes. I had the double cheeseburger and was underwhelmed. Aside from a unremarkable taste it appeared that the bread and meat were squeezed together, which I couldn't understand. Ambiance was not great and the lighting can be much better.
Dairy Queen is Dairy Queen it's pretty much like any other fast food place what I can say. I appreciate whoever was cooking my chicken fingers, they did not overcook them as sooo many other times. The pecan ice cream was good. No photos, I was crazy hungry, lol
Good Food was ok, for a fast-food place. The workers (hith school kids) are not so motivated. Just kinda hanging doing there job, but they were acceptable customer service wise. Floor could use attention, the front door had Ice cream on it I let the young fela know about it, he said he would get to it, (Sir) However in my 30ish min visit He nor anyone got to it, not even as I sit here and write the review.
Mixed on this location... It's DQ so that's always a good thing but 4.19 for 5 regular ol' premade, drop in the fryer onion rings then an attitude when you ask for ranch "we normally charge extra for ranch". Well then, thanks for the heads up. I guess I'll stick to the occasional icecream treat from here on out.
Come here for desserts only. Their food is subpar. Fries are soggy, chicken strips bland, and they put the ranch in with the hot food so it curdled. However, their side dish of pretzel sticks are bomb AF!!!! Basically, ice creams and pretzels are what you should only get here.
The food was good. The order was correct. Employees were patient, nice, fast and professional. I ordered 6 different combos each with specialty drinks and ended up spending way too much for fast food. Basically $80. The blizzards hardly had any of the pieces it was supposed to have. They were basically just plain. Not worth the money spent on the drink upgrade. Plus the food was tiny. Will not return.
I went through the drive-through and ordered a blizzard and nothing else. The wait was a bit long, and when I got to the window to get my blizzard, the employees inside were chatting and not even acknowledging that anyone had pulled up. I waited, figuring the young girl was maybe giving the young boys some instruction, but after sitting there for about 2-3 minutes without acknowledgment, I honked. The kid grabbed my blizzard, didn't say hi, or apologize for the wait, handed it to me, and walked away. Terrible customer service.
We used the app to put our order in thinking it would save a little time since we are kinda in a hurry. WRONG!! I clicked “I’m here” as we pulled in the lot, then I called to confirm they’d received it after waiting a few minutes. Good thing I did because she hadn’t noticed it. 8 more minutes later she finally arrived with our order of 1 blizzard and 1 shake. Should’ve just gone through the drive through. At least they are perfectly delicious!! I’ll be back, just will not use the app again to order.
Dairy Queen reminds me of my childhood. I haven't visited in many many years however I was in the area and decided to try a blizzard. I usually get the mud pie Blizzard but it was not on the menu so I got the brownie blizzard and added strawberries. It was just okay, I have definitely had better.
I ordered a latte and gave them my mug and I got 20oz of weak coffee. They filled it to the top so that it spilled and there was no foam just lightly colored hot water! I'm sorry but they're gonna have to figure out what they're doing there, if they don't have an espresso machine they need to not advertise that they can do a latte. I wanted to try a new coffee shop here cause I've only lived in this town for a month and a half. I just had to put my cat down so I was trying to treat myself and my son to something nice and I don't think either of us liked our drinks. We stayed there and played chess.
They have really gone up in price. 3 med blizzards over $20 and the cluster bars packaged is close to $20...rediculous
Had been coming here for a while but had a tramatic experience that had stopped me from ever going back. One day I got a sandwich and there was a hair hanging out. Oh well it happens but when I took off the bread to remove it discovered 6 - 8 more short black hairs. I went back to return the sandwich and complain. I showed the cashier the hairs and she took the sandwich to the back and retrieved the manager. When the manager appeared to refund me she didn't even look at me and just started refunding me; no apology or anything. So I brought it up and she says that it was probably just towel fibers if there were hairs. I was more than a little irritated that she seemed to be doubting me and making excuses. I told her to go get the sandwich. She goes back and comes back without it. She tells me the cook through it away. I said go dig it out of the trash then. She does brings it to me and miraculously the are no hairs. I take my money and leave. Bottom line I was probably the victim of a disgusting kitchen staff prank and the victim of an incompetent, rude manager. Stay away folks lest you be next.
Horrible service!! Very dirty! The floor underneath the tables are disgustingly gross with food and ice cream all dried up!! The staff acts like they hate their job! The staff never acknowledges you unless you're standing in front of the register. Everyone walking around don't even look at you don't greet you. I called the manager he was very gracious and very apologetic. Hopefully he can get a handle on this particular store.
First things first, the dining room was closed...bummer. Tried to get a Raspberry Reese's Blizzard 🥶 but there was no Raspberries. Bummer. So I ordered a Strawberry Reese's Blizzard 🥶....yum, maybe there was the equivalent of 1 strawberry in it. Also not the normal amount of Reese's peanut butter cup in it. I ordered a Coke Zero and bummer they have Pepsi products 🥺. They have Coke products in Utah where I live. So I ordered a Pink Lemonade. I checked my receipt and I was charged extra for the extra strawberries I didn't order or receive. I'm still going to DQ but not in So. Cal. Utah... Yes.
Food was good but one of the older women who worked there was very rude. I got water cup and she yelled across the room "NO SODA" and i was litteraly pouring water in my cup. We then did a survey for the free dill ice cream thing and she made it so difficult. The food was great but the service is just bad. She was maybe latina?
The slowest service ever to get 1 ice cream cone. Only one in line and takes them 15 minutes to take my order. Meanwhile they're messing up orders left and right in the drive thru. I stopped goin to this location a couple years ago. Thought I'll give them a chance. Nope. Not goin back ever again.
We've gone here twice in three weeks now and both times our blizzards we're milkshakes before we even got two blocks away. It's not terribly hot right now but they're still serving pre-melted ice cream. By the time I get home 10 minutes away my ice cream is warm soup and I have to freeze it again for 2 hours before I can enjoy it properly. Sadly today is the last time I visit this location. It's not worth the $25-30 it costs to buy my family ice cream here.
Went on 8/11/22 Extremely disappointed. We’ve been getting DQ for years here. About a month or so ago they took away all the dip flavors and now only have chocolate. Their ice cream is no longer creamy it’s almost the texture and flavor of a low fat frozen yogurt. DQ has always been known for their creamy rich soft serve ice cream. Unfortunately we will find someplace else to go.the order taker was extremely nice though
I love DQ ice cream but their new caramel cannonball is puke worthy. Way too sweet and not enough ice cream. I had over 7 mouthfuls of these huge chunks where it was only toppings and no ice cream. Luckily I had the lid to spit them out because literally it was making me gag to have over 6 pieces of these chunks in my mouth from one spoonful. And this picture doesn’t represent the total amount because I ate some in my first bites. Avoid this blizzard!
I had to pick up a doordash here and waited 25 min while I watched food order after food order get handed out thru the drive thru. After 25 min when I asked how much longer it was going to be they told me they were gonna start on the order soon 😭. What a joke no wonder the drive thru line is always longer than in n out
I have to say I used to be a fan of this dairy queen, but as of the last couple of months is really going downhill. And please don't blame the rude service on lack of employees every time I drive through or go inside there are tons of people working so this is not the case.. The food has been subpar in the employees have been rude Not only that but they've not paying attention to what you order. Today simple order two chocolate dipped cones medium size very simple nothing to it. Got home just to find two cones no chocolate covering nothing I called the store the lady said oh well I guess I didn't hear it just come back right that's exactly what I want to do when I have two kids waiting for their treats is to go back there yet again and wait in line because of incompetence of the employees. Horrible job dairy Queen horrible job
After ordering the royal strawberry blizzard this is the third time they put chocolate and Oreos it looks like they dont clean the containers they use so you get a mixed disgusting mess every time very annoying and have and to throw out multiple times due to someone being allergic to the contents of it very disappointed that they don't care at all about not mixing potentially life threatening ingredients.
I wish I could give this place a zero rating. I was feeding my kids their fries and pretzel sticks and while eating them we found green MOLD on the pretzel sticks?! We did nothing but toss them away. That was nothing to me and I barely caused a fuss. It wasn't until I was eating the fries that I found a piece of HAIR!? I called and the manager was very kind (Ashley) in trying to offer me free ice cream etc. however I will never eat here again.
I want to say first off I never write reviews. However I feel like I have too.. I went to get some ice cream and I pulled into the drive thru I didn't know if it was closed or not but a male asked if wanted to order so I figured it was open I mean why else would they ask that..well I asked for a min to see what I was going to order. Then I was ready to order and I got radio silence...I kept saying hello and nothing so I pulled up to the window and I get a female telling me they are closed which is fine however she gave me the most rudest attitude and look ever, not only her but the male employee also gave me the nastiest look ever as if he didn't just ask me what I would like to order a few mins ago..I know it was my fault for not checking the time but why ask what I would like to order if you are closed? I find that rude and very unprofessional. I hope that wasn't the manager in there because that is unethical to teach to your employees.
We ordered food at the drive thru. We had to repeat ourselves a few times. The fries was cold, got two plastic knives for the salad and no napkins in the bags. Who eats salad with knives? This place is going down hill with their service smh. Very disappointed!
Whatever happened to "The Customer is Always Right?" My boys absolutely LOVE Dairy Queen. We go to DQ on Cal Oaks almost EVERY FRIDAY after school for Blizzards (and we have a carpool of five kids). We frequently go to DQ on the weekends for dessert. I buy my boys DQ gift cards at Christmas and on their birthdays. My entire family (in-laws, cousins, etc) LOVE the DQ ice cream cakes and almost always order one when we all get together to celebrate a birthday or holiday. SO...why the one star rating, you ask? Because of how my son was treated during a visit to DQ on 8/28/17 at about 12:15 in the afternoon. He and his friend walked to DQ after they got out of school this day...it was an "early-release" day, so they were going to get a Blizzard and wait for me to pick them up there. His friend ordered and paid for his blizzard, then my son ordered and paid for his. The cashier asked if he wanted his receipt and he said he did not need it. They went and found a seat and waited for their ice cream...soon, someone brought his friend's blizzard...and then they waited...and waited...and waited...twenty minutes went by and my son still hadn't received his Blizzard. He went to the counter and spoke with the SAME cashier who had rung him up just minutes before...the cashier asked if he had his receipt. My son kind of laughed and answered that he did not, but that "you were the one who rung me up!" Well, the cashier said that without a receipt, he couldn't do anything about it. Now, my son is fifteen and he isn't one to raise a stink or question someone who he perceives as being in authority, so they left and walked to Carl's Jr, where he got a shake instead. Yes, my son asked the cashier to throw the receipt away...but that SAME cashier refused him his blizzard because HE HIMSELF had thrown the receipt in the trash?? Just twenty minutes before? He honestly could not remember a customer he had helped twenty minuted before? Could he not have checked in his trash can? I'm sure it was right there by the registers. Maybe it was busy and he honestly didn't remember my son, BUT I have worked in fast food places and I could always remember a customer who came back with a complaint within a reasonable amount of time. And I also know that, if there was ever an issue such as this, the customer WOULD have been right and would have been given the Blizzard. Maybe they are distrustful of the teens who head to DQ after school?? Sounds discriminatory to me...sad that they would lump every teen-aged kid into a negative stereotype of rowdy, trouble-causing teenagers. Who knows what he was thinking?? He certainly want't thinking of making his customers happy, though. This one incident of poor customer service is going to cost a lot of customers...I have told my family about it, shared int on FB, and we have started getting Slurpees after school on Fridays at the 7-11 nearby. We won't be ordering any more birthday cakes from them and Sunday desserts will not come from our local DQ. I know DQ's are franchises, so hopefully other Dairy Queen locations won't have such a customer un-friendly policy. That one Blizzard is going to cost them more than the $4 they took from my son.
Horrible service. Hispanic lady very rude. I came in clearly stated my name and the braid shoved a random bag in my face. I get half way home to realize it’s a door dash order. Do better
Thank you DQ for the double fudge chocolate chip cookie dough wit ZERO fudge and 5 pieces of cookie dough. So here is an update I came back this month hopping that the deficiencies were fixed but sadly the DQ team still doesn't know what extra fudge means and the fact that I pay extra for it hurts even more. The bottom picture is proof that I pay for it but I don't get it...
Long time customers treated terrible today. After waiting 15 minutes in line, we received our dipped cones. They had sat on the counter as we have seen before and as soon as we drove away my was so liquid inside it dumped over on my lap. Next, down went my husband's. What a mess all over us and the car. I called the store and the young man after hearing what happened said okay. I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager. I asked for his name and he said I'm not going to give you my name. Easy to locate the franchise owners so I will let them know how their manager treats THEIR customers. We will never go back there and I will make sure everyone I know boycots this location. That would include our entire football league and hockey league. We'll pick a place that values good customers. This decision is based solely on the manager being so rude and disrespectful.
You guys are very consistent…. with horrible service! You make great blizzards when you get our order right but tonight was the worst experience I’ve ever had at this location. I ordered a large French fry and the container with the fries wasn’t even filled up halfway and I am not exaggerating at all. It was absolutely awful and I’m normally not one to complain about prices but I paid almost 5 dollars for that and the server was very rude and had no manners or customer service capability in any way, shape, or form. Normally I would let that slide but I keep getting horrible service when I go to that location and I’ve noticed it is a bunch of kids running the place and have zero sense of customer service or kindness about them.
I never write reviews, but I am absolutely appalled by the customer service. My order was messed up more than once. I had to drive back because they gave me a completely wrong blizzard mind you all I ordered was a small blizzard and a fry then when I go to get a refund, the manager doesn’t even say sorry doesn’t even look me in the eye.
It was horrible. We waited for 40 min in the drive thru then they messed up 4 out of 5 of our blizzards. 2nd visit another bad experience. I ordered a cake batter cookie dough blizzard. First it did not taste like cake batter at all so they didn't add the flavoring, then I get a cookie dough peice and it is chocolate chip so I figure maybe it fell in witj the correct ones so i keep eating the already sub par blizzard and all the cookie dough pieces were chocolate chip. It is supposed to have confetti cookie dough. So they made me a normal regular cookie dough blizzard. Not what I wanted at all. From what I noticed the issues there stem from staff laziness and poor customer service. They all seem not to care or want to be there
I'm not a huge fan of poor customer service.
Great ice cream s usual. However, the crew had the water in the sink running the entire time I was there (35 minutes) this evening. Prior to leaving, I asked an employee if he was aware that we were in a long term drought situation. Not sure he knew what a drought was, because he only mumbled an answer. Somebody needs to educate these employees.
Ordered food for my family to take home, including a single meat patty for my son, who has a ton of food allergies. The only way they could process this, was for me to pay for a cheeseburger and take everything off of it and note food allergies, which we did, which is stated very clearly on the receipt. When we got home, we found that they gave us a full cheeseburger with everything on it. When I tried to call to let their manager know that their staff made our order incorrectly, nobody would pick up the phone. For 15 minutes, my calls would not go through to a person and would be automatically disconnected after a few minutes of nobody answering, and I'd have to call again. But, ultimately, nobody answered any of the times that I called. Incorrect order plus zero customer service available equals bad rating. This is not a "cross-contamination" issue as mentioned on their website - this is outright people not caring to do their jobs. It's been several years since I've been here because my last visit had chunks of peanuts in my strawberry shortcake blizzard and I experienced anaphylaxis. I tried to give them another shot today because we could note food allergies, but clearly they just don't care.
The manager was rude when I didn’t know the weren’t honoring a teacher appreciation week promotion. She kind of laughed about it and her response was short and rude, even after I showed her a flyer. I didn’t mind not receiving the promotion, but her negative energy made me not even want to buy ice cream even after driving out of my way to go to Dairy Queen since I like the blizzards.
Decent service and food is fine. However they cheat on ice cream. This was supposed to be a Peanut Buster Parfait. Unfortunately they consistently add WAAYYYYY TOOOO MUCH FUDGE and only two layers of ice cream vice the standard 3. The team seem young and don’t care. And when going through the drive through they don’t use gloves to hand you cones 🤢
My husband and I came to this location and tried to enter the dining area at 9:40 PM on a Friday evening. We were just going to order our blizzards and go. The sign on the door says that the dining area is open until 10PM on Fridays and Saturdays but the door was locked. I tried opening it and knocked and three employees just stared at us and then continued back to what they were doing. As someone who’s worked many fast food jobs during high school and undergrad this is unacceptable customer service. Attached is a picture of the sign clearly posted on the door, not one but 2 times! Hopefully their boss sees this review and has a conversation with them about closing early. I get it, it’s Friday and you want to go home but the doors shouldn’t be locked over 20 minutes before close.
****ALERT**** ****ALERT**** This Dairy Queen location sucks! Will never come here again... I ordered an Oreo Blizzard with extra Oreo and I made sure I repeated it 3 times... I got half Oreo and half Snickers Blizzard... If I was allergic to nuts this would have been a terrible outcome... Make sure you check your Blizzards, especially if you are allergic to nuts or other stuff because obviously they don't know the difference between Oreos and Snickers....
