Absolutely ridiculously delicious. Everything is stupidly good. I was amazed by the flavors. Started with the artichoke heart Appetizer. Wow that was something special. I had the Lemon Piccata dish, can’t remember the name, this is by far the best I have ever had. Hubby had the lasagna and said it was delicious. The cheesecake was throw your glasses off your face delicious. I mean come on, seriously it was delicious. Service was very attentive and friendly. 100% be back!!
Went there for my Birthday and the server was spectacular, the food was amazing and the restaurant atmosphere was great!!! To top it off they provided a Canoli for free with a birthday candle!! Will always keep going back!! Must visit!!!
What a great dining experience with a wonderful Maître D’ who is very on point. He tells the specials and serves with passion and a great attitude. I highly recommend you go here and Get the 16oz Rib eye steak and Cioppino it’s The best I’ve had in this area.
★★★★★ Outstanding food, flawless service, and an amazing chef! Our experience at Nonno’s Ristorante was nothing short of incredible. We hosted a large celebration and everything from the menu to the atmosphere was on point. The food was delicious, and every guest raved about their meal. What impressed us most was the level of service: timely, kind, and beyond attentive. Not once did we have to ask for drink refills they were already on it! Big thanks to Chef Luigi, who organized everything through email with such professionalism. He truly went above and beyond. He’s not only a gifted chef but also a gracious host and hands-on owner. Highly recommend Nonno’s for any gathering or even just a quiet dinner. Five stars all the way!
We went on a trip to Temecula to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. The unexpected heavy rain had us feeling a bit down on the way there, but the food totally made up for it. Their pink vodka pasta is legit. And the balsamic vinegar sauce that comes with the bread? So good that I honestly wanted to go back to the kitchen and ask where they got it. (If anyone from the restaurant sees this, please let me know—I need it in my life.) Also, our server Suzy and the rest of the staff were super nice. Even though we walked in without a reservation, we still felt really welcomed. They definitely deserved a good tip!
Bravo to Julian! He was our exceptional waiter tonight! His suggestions were on point as he ensured that our evening with our out of state friends knew why Nonno's is one of the best Italian restaurants in the nation. He checked on us throughout the meal to see if we were still happy! The rest of the supporting team was on top of things as well. We had the calamari and antipasto as starters and I highly suggest both. The reason why the antipasto is a must is that it is a great dish to share because it has salami, burrata cheese and greens like a salad. For our mains we had the evening special(s) of branzino and black ink seafood linguine. In addition, we had the ravioli and gnocchi which were also fabulous! The spumoni and tiramisu were excellent endings to an amazing evening. We are so lucky to have this fine Italian restaurant in our backyard. It's the go to place for special occasions and out of town friends and family.
What a treat! I came here for my Birthday Dinner during my stay at the Murrieta Hot Springs, and I was nervous at first (as Italian food is some of my favorite food) but once we walked in and smelled the food in the air I was ready to eat. We were served by Sheri, and she was just a pleasure to speak with. We enjoyed the fried artichoke for an appetizer, indulged upon the lentil soup, and reminisced upon the eggplant parmesan. A friend of mine cooked eggplant parmesan for me a few times in college, and I didn't realize how much I missed it until I ordered it here. It was paired with some ravioli and they complimented each other perfectly, they filled a hole in my soul I didn't know was there. I was very pleased. And to top the meal off we enjoyed a piece of cheesecake, I wished we got two slices after my first bite! I highly recommend it if you're looking for some good food 😄
I stumbled upon Nanno's Ristorante while searching for an Italian restaurant with good ratings. I went in without a reservation, and I must applaud the host for finding a table for my mother and me away from the main entrance and the high-traffic areas. The restaurant interior is extremely dark, so like other patrons, I had to use the light on my phone to read the menu. However, it is nicely decorated, and I captured plenty of footage for creative inspiration. We followed our waiter’s recommendation and ordered seafood pasta and a pizza spread with homemade pesto sauce and chicken. I also ordered the house Italian wine, which was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, the pizza crust was badly burned, but the waiter offered to make a new one so we could take it home. We hadn’t even mentioned it, so it was a pleasant surprise. The replacement pizza had a perfectly even crust, allowing us to savor the flavorful pesto sauce over the tenderly marinated chicken. However, we were slightly disappointed by the seafood pasta. The sauce was so strong that it overpowered the flavor of the seafood meat, such as the shrimp and squid. Additionally, the black pasta was half steamy hot while the other side was warm, almost cold. We stirred it to make it work and didn’t mention it to the waiter since we were very hungry. To complete our meal, we ordered the homemade gelato, which turned out to be sweeter than we preferred. The waiter was eager to ensure we had a good experience, constantly checking in to see if everything was okay. However, the restaurant seemed very busy, with waiters and waitresses rushing around, creating a stressful environment when I wanted to sit down and enjoy a stress-free meal. I highly recommend Nanno's to anyone craving a delicious, homemade-style Italian meal with great service. I will most likely return when they are less busy.
Atmosphere is ideal for a romantic dinner with dark woods and dim lighting with a traditional Italian style. Each pasta dish was very aromatic with rich sauces and abundant flavor. The artichoke appetizer was delicious, as was the bread with oil and vinegar. To finish off the meal, we had the cannolis, which had a smooth, creamy, flavorful filling. Service was wonderful with great attention to our needs.
We went here for my birthday, and we loved everything about this place. Our server was the sweetest person ever
The service was outstanding, and our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu & specials. They we able to add a guest to our seating even though we had a reservation for two! I cannot wait till my return! The food was amazing! I am a seafood fan! I tried their special with the squid ink noodles 🐙 & it was incredible! We were even able to give our compliments to the chef. Also, the basil martini is a must!
This was my first time in Temecula and I searched for a highly rated restaurant near my hotel. I wanted to have a fine dining experience before I leave here tomorrow. Well, this restaurant was the 1st one that popped up on Google with high ratings so I had to try it. When I arrived, Susie greeted me and was extremely friendly and helpful and helped me get a table right away. Then Miguel came out and got me my drinks and he was very positive, kind, thoughtful, and helpful. He was also great at adding pepper and cheese to my plate like a pro. Then there was Mario. Very energetic, extremely considerate, courteous, and helpful person whom I appreciated very much. This was definitely a complete experience. I ordered Ribeye Steak & Artichoke and mushroom soup, and it was totally awesome. Very delicious and delightful. Come try out this place if you are in town. You will be glad you did. 😁
My hunny took me out on date and I loved everything about this restaurant, service, food , atmosphere !
Just had a May birthday dinner here, so I thought I should add the scrumptious desserts! --- Our favorite family Italian restaurant. We come here for any and most occasions 😆. Their lobster ravioli is EXCELLENT (and so is the service)! Calamari & Osso buco are pictured below. Don't miss the Chilean sea bass if it's available. Note--Price for lunch and dinner the same. (But totally worth it!)
The food is always delicious. But our busser Luis made it a delightful experience, he remember my daughter’s drink, very attentive with our needs wether it was the parmesan or any extra things we needed.
I strolled in with the family. It smelled great from the outside. The staff inside are inviting. It was spaced out comfortably for everyone to enjoy. We sat in the patio and it was a nice breeze. I was instantly brought back to Naples, Italy. The food was amazing and the service made us feel at home. Some pizza for the kids, a lasagna and I had the salmon special ,wash it down with some red and white vino We're coming back for date night, absolutely.
I’ve found my new favorite Italian place! One of our friends recommended this place, a small ish Italian place hidden in murietta. This inside is mood lighting perfect for a romantic date evening. The place was rather busy but we waited very little before they took case of us. Their wine selection was pretty extensive and we went on Thursday where you could get 1/2 off bottle, a pretty good deal! Highly recommend the canyon road wine! We ordered our pastas and they brought out some yummy bread with olive oil. They recommended the caprese salad to share and wow what a great pick, really hit the spot. My wife got the special of the night the spaghetti carbonara and I got the rigatoni san Romeo and wow. Talk about knocking it out of the park. Everything they served was delicious!! We were walking out of that place full and happy. The prices are pretty good for the portions, the food is out of this world, and the service is rock solid! Easily 5 stars!
Went to Nonos Restaurant last night, it was my mother in law birthday 🎉 food was really good, only note the dinner came to quick as we were eating the appetizer, the waitress almost took the plate and I had to tell her we are still eating this. There was more than half still on the plate that cost $22.00, listen learn don’t order dinner right away, i don’t want to be hurried when we pay $180 plus for a dinner for 3 two glasses of wine 🍷
First time at the restaurant. Love the ambiance and service is excellent. I ordered Lasagna and it was delicious. Cheesecake for dessert. It was as delicious as the meal.
My husband and I came for a date night on a Wednesday night. The atmosphere is just amazing. Dim lighting and a charming little bar. We each had a glass of red wine and split a Caesar salad. I had the Gnocchi with vodka marinara and he had chicken Alfredo. Both dishes were outstanding. Matt was our server and was so attentive and charming, he even helped us pick out our wine and fashioned my cocktail to be a little less sweet than how it's normally made. Hands down one of the best meals we have had in a very long time. If you haven't been you should!
The foods are always great. My daughter who was fort timer in the restaurant was so impressed of how delicious the foods were
Fantastic food, great service, crowded but not loud. Definitely coming back
Absolutely one of the best Italian restaurants we've ever been to. Nice bar area, great service and fabulous food! Ask for Mario, he's the best! BTW, pet friendly in the nice patio area!
Very accommodating and fantastic food. Our waiter Mario did a fabulous job
Me and my girlfriend had returned here for the second time after about a year and I am pleased to say it was just as amazing as the first time. We actually got lucky enough to have the same server, Matthew, for our second time and he was great. I absolutely love the atmosphere it’s perfect for date night and the food is exceptional.
Absolutely 💯 amazing authentic Italian restaurant. Our first meal. Amazed of the ambiance, impeccable service and lost for words of the food. We were in Italy in May 2025 and it felt and tasted like we were in Italy 🇮🇹. The food is so delicious 😋 and authentic. I had the lobster ravioli. Absolutely delicious. No other taste like it. My wife had the spaghetti. Stunning. Delicious meatballs. The calamari was lightly breaded and so delicious. What a treat. Their service is 5 stars 🌟. Luigi, Julian and Luis were welcoming, warm with imperial service. What a gem we found. We will be back next week. Their prices are reasonable. Better prices then olive garden. Please try this restaurant! Thank you to all the staff. We loved it - Diego&Olivia.
Very close to have a perfect score on my book I had a reservation at a winery in temecula, but do to an inconvenient i wasn't available to make it. So I used the Google search in maps to look for a place. I choose this place for one particular comment and oh boy..!! It was awesome the drinks on point we had and aperol spritz and a old fashion both real good we share a gazpacho as appetizer and i5 was so good the complementary bread was good tost on the outside and soft in the inside. Both of our main course took the visit to the top my wife order the chicken parmesan with the chicken cook to perfection and the sauce was supreme. I oreder the Ravioli di aragosta and scampi fill with lobster and the sauce OMG ..!! So so good also we order a cannoli and a tiramisu that we bring home since we're so full the waiter us a European fella wich he sounds kind of rude or angry when he took our order but everyone else was so nice the bar tender the busboys when out of their way to make our dinner a great experience kudos to this place.!
We had a delicious dinner with friends and everything was fantastic. Three of us had the lobster ravioli with shrimp. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The appetizers were great and the desserts were really good too. We highly recommend this restaurant and we plan on going back.
I love good food and service and that’s hard to find nowadays. Personally I love Italian cuisine and it’s a staple in my family. Nonno’s Ristorante is by far one of the finest Italian dinners I’ve come across in quite some time and will be sure to frequent this restaurant more often in the future. 5 ⭐️ s all around.
Luis! This is our second time here and for you not even being our waiter both of these times yet doing the most for us is SO appreciated and doesn’t go unnoticed ! Thank you you are a reason we come back. Besides HIM the lobster ravioli, fried artichokes and pear martini were amazing . Can’t wait to come back
We love this place. It has the best ambiance. It's beautiful and serene. Ideal for date nights. The food was wonderful and we had the sweetest waiter who went above and beyond.
Nonno’s is, hands down, our favorite restaurant in the area. They deliver a superb dining experience every single time we go, whether it’s for a casual mid-week night out or for a special occasion. Nonno’s has the best staff, best food and best ambiance around.
The food is amazing 👏 customer service is the way it should be..Scott is a wonderful person and made us feel welcome...the restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere...recommend this wonderful place to everyone 😀
The food was delicious and it was a wonderful atmosphere. Truly enjoyed my evening here.
We absolutely loved our experience here. Food, service and atmosphere was amazing. Mario was our server and he was very friendly and professional. Will definitely be back!!!
Food was amazing, service was even better. Unfortunately I was not able to get the name of the waiter otherwise I would love to shout him out.
This is the best Italian restaurant in Murrieta, CA! I had the salmon rigatoni dish and it was excellent. The sauce was really amazing. I tried the margherita pizza and tiramisu as well. The margherita pizza was okay, and the tiramisu was average as well. Definitely do come here for the pasta dishes though. The server was somewhat helpful with recommendations for food. The atmosphere here is quite nice, it's a smaller restaurant as well. The interior decor here is nice too. Overall, a decent experience. Cheers.
Date night is very important to my husband and me. With our busy schedules, we cherish opportunities to slow down, relax, and truly enjoy each other’s company—dinner is the perfect way to do that. Bono’s exceeded our expectations in every way. The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, creating a romantic and comfortable setting. Our servers were fantastic—warm, attentive, and clearly experienced. Cleanliness is very important to us, and everything from the tables to the silverware and glassware was spotless. The crowd was lovely, filled with beautiful families and wonderful couples, which added to the overall experience. The energy was vibrant without being loud. Compliments to the Chef 👨🍳…We enjoyed a full-course meal from soup and salad to drinks, our main entrée, and dessert. 🍨 the cost of our meals plus a tip was so affordable which caught me by surprise…I give this place 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was truly an amazing experience, and we will absolutely be back.
This has become our favorite restaurant for great, authentic Italian dining. Their Cioppino is the best we’ve ever had. Matthew is an exceptional waiter, good listener, and always gives great recommendations. The support staff are very attentive and courteous. The Chocolate Chip Cannolis are a must have.
Celebrating a friends 50th Wedding Anniversary at this fabulous restaurant last night and the wife had a seizure...the staff absolutely jumped in to assist called 911 and were top tier in all regards. Special gratitude to Dr @Inland Hospital and RN @Rancho Springs (who were guests) for coming forward and took decisive charge on our friends medical incident. We would like to Thank everyone who is employed there and whom ever trained them. The food is quite delicious, authentic and innovative. Great bar and wine selections. They are definitely at the top in food and service. Special thanks to the Host, server Susie and all the terrific guests who came to our friends aid. We are very appreciative. Pat and Greg Kind and our friends. Humankind is Alive and Flourishing.
Absolutely incredible. ❤️ Just wow!! I’ve eaten here years ago and remembered it being one of the best Italian restaurants. Was excited to try it again. And, it did NOT disappoint. Service, atmosphere and the food was all top notch. Will be trying to dine here more frequently.
The Cioppino was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and full of seafood. Service was friendly and the food overall was great. The only downside was the wine. I paid $14 a glass, but it tasted cheap and like it had been open too long. For that price, I expected something fresher and better.
This place was amazing with the food, and the service. If you're into wine, the Pino Noir is a great choice there and the Spaghetti al Salmone was a direct hit. I'll definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu (everything on the menu looked delicious)!!!
The service was nice and accommodating. The food was delicious, except for the lite pasta it was a bit heavy and a hair was found in my cannoli. Other than that the experience was enjoyable. The lobster ravioli, steak, spaghetti , and salmon were all enjoyed. Some members of our party say they would come back.
I really wanted to like Nonno's more, but there are some things they have to work on. Firstly, the greeting. We arrived for our reservation a few minutes early. They were very busy, with several staff quickly moving around, some serving food and some going to tables. That would've been fine if someone would've just made eye contact and said hello. I don't think that is a big deal, but the manner in which we were seated made things even worse. I said we were hoping to sit outside since it was a nice night, and as I indicated on the reservation, this was a special birthday occasion. The hostess/server simply said: "Well, you're lucky because we seat no reservations outside. You get to sit inside where it is nicer." I asked why it was "nicer" and she said, because we have air conditioning. The weather was a beautiful 75 degrees! It felt like she was trying to gloss over the reservation request to sit outside. I decided to ignore the seating problem and we were brought around a wooden panel shielding the front entrance from the main dining room. Although the table was fine, the dining room was one of the darkest I've ever eaten in! I would say the ambiance was of a typical American Italian restaurant with dark wood tables and decor, and Italian wine bottles as well as pictures of Italy on the amber walls, which was fine. Our server came over promptly and introduced herself. Jessica was a joy- great attitude, friendly, helpful with menu questions, and very efficient! My wife ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese and I got the Ravioli di Formaggio, to which I added the sausage. Strangely, when I asked if it was Italian sausage and if it was made in-house, Jessica had to go to the kitchen to ask. As she had just started a week ago, I could tell she was eager to get the right information, so she did the right thing. She confirmed it was Italian sausage, but not made fresh. The dishes took almost 30 minutes to arrive. They looked good, so we dug in. Sadly, they were of average quality. The sauce did not taste fresh nor home-made, and both the pappardelle and ravioli were over-cooked. I counted 6 small pieces of cut sausage that were clearly not anything special. The bottle of wine we ordered, a Clemente VII Classico Riserva, was one of the more expensive on the menu at $60. But because it was Thursday, they had a half-off wine bottle special. This bottle retails for $16-$20 according to the Vivino app- a ridiculous 300-400% markup!! I've never been to a Restaurant that marked wine up this much. The final bill was $83, completely overpriced for a meal of ingredients that were not all fresh, nor even of the size of most Italian restaurants. I've eaten at dozens of family-style to high-end big-city Italian establishments, and everything in between, throughout the world. This was not the worst, but the value for money and overpriced wine list are inexcusable. I hope my review gives the owner and management some things to work on. I believe customers will appreciate some improvements and the staff will continue to provide good service. Good luck!
Decent local restaurant. We had dinner at Nonno’s Sat Night. No wait. Staff very friendly, little disorganized. Chairs are super uncomfortable. We ordered two appetizers and two mains as we like to share and sample; this our first visit. Caesar Salad was really tasty, very fresh, would buy it again $12.95 Carpaccio do Manzo - very small portion meat w lettuce on top. Meat was soggy w lemon water. Disappointed. $22.95 Main Dishes: Branzino. Sold as Mediterranean Sea Bass. This a good portion White fish served with fresh vegetables. The Branzino was delicious - equal to any international city restaurant. Really enjoyed and at $35.99 I would buy this again. Pasta Special. This fettuccine chef special was also very tasty if a bit too salty, hard to taste the subtle flavors. Noodles were cooked perfectly and I couldn’t help sopping up the sauce with the Nonno’s Dinner Rolls. The rolls are unique and almost worth the drive alone!!! I would definitely come back again but pass on the carpaccio. Enjoy Jim
Absolutely shocked by the 4.7 star average rating here. Came in with high hopes as I’ve from Boston and NY and was left absolutely shocked by the low quality of food. First, the bread was alright, it came with oil and vinegar which is better than butter. The carpaccio was alright, the calamari was typical frozen tasting and served with red sauce. Honestly the two apps were probably the best dishes we had. The pizza was legitimately shocking. Raw onions and mushrooms on what looked and tasted like store bought premade dough. It tasted like something you’d get at a middle school, which is nostalgic, but absolutely criminal to be charging $26 for and absolutely not authentically Italian. The bolognese was interesting, not a deep taste, but it’s hard to completely butcher a meat sauce. The chicken parm tasted like a microwaved chicken cutlet with sauce on top. Very disappointed. I could legitimately microwave frozen chicken tenders with red sauce and it would taste the same. The service was extremely fast and nice, no complaints. But, they did serve my gluten free wife who specifically ordered gf pasta, normal pasta. They apologized for it. A replacement dish came out relatively fast. I originally wanted to try a cannoli or tiramisu for desert but was so disappointed by the meal, we just left. In total, our food with a bottle of sparkling and one peroni came out to $130… we will definitely not be returning.
I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at Nono’s was extremely disappointing. The food was just okay — nothing memorable, and certainly not worth the price. The bigger issue, however, was the dishonest billing. I wrote out the tip amount and final total clearly on the receipt, but when the charge hit my account, Nono’s had added over $30 on top of the total I authorized (including tip). There was no way this could have been a mistake — it felt completely intentional. When a restaurant decides to take more than what a customer has approved, it’s not just bad service — it’s theft. Needless to say, I won’t be returning, and I recommend anyone dining here to check their bank statements carefully.
Stopped by on a Friday night right at 5pm. The restaurant was pretty empty but they were not able to accommodate us inside because we didn't have a reservation. They offered us the patio and it's 50° outside. No thanks. Update: In response to "It's not fair..." reply by the owner. I didn't think it was fair to not have availability for walk in customers considering most every table was empty. If it were 7pm and packed then I would have understood. Any restaurant that causes me to have to drive to another restaurant because they were not willing to accommodate me as a walk in customer right at 5pm in a nearly empty restaurant is deserving of a one star rating until they change their policy. In the meantime, I will stick with my opinion, observation, and review. The fact that you are unapologetic tells me you may deserve the one star review for various reasons, not just the reason I mentioned in my review.
One of the worst Italian restaurants we’ve been into in a long time! We really did want to love this place! It was for my birthday. We sat outside, started to get bit up by the bugs then the server messed up a $200 bottle of wine we had when he destroyed the cork and got it stuck inside of the bottle. Then the food was horrible the dish that he recommended with scallops and shrimp smell like it was bad and really upset my stomach for a few days afterwards. My husband also had another dish that the server recommended with sausage and cheese ravioli and it also upset his stomach. we ended up going on a couple days, fast to detox her system afterwards and bounce back. Hate to say these things, but this is what really happened. This wasn’t a birthday. Wish it became a birthday disaster.
