Papa John's in Murrieta, CA. I had pre-ordered 8 pizzas from another place (Sam's) to find out my order was lost and it would take 45 min to an hour to make 8 pizzas. I was in a dire situation walking into Papa John's. I was greeted by Gary, I told him my situation and that I needed 8 pizza's ASAP. Gary did not hesitate to take my order, he applied applicable coupons and him and other staff had pizzas ready for me in less than 20 minutes. THAT WAS AMAZING. Thank you Gary and staff for keeping me sane through my ordeal.

We never have issues here but always order via the app or web. Everything is usually ready in less than 30 minutes. It’s the best chain pizza store on this side of Murrieta.

Service was fast and friendly, Kristie was very helpful. Kristie also was patient with us as we were unsure of what to order as a family, (which I was very apologetic about) but Kristie was great. Will definitely be back because of the service alone. Oh and the food was great, we haven’t had Papa John’s in quite some time, and I was impressed. We ended up ordering the mix it up menu so everyone in the family got a lil something they wanted. And by all means it really was good.

The team on Cal Oaks is ON POINT. I have had multiple good experiences with this location. My order is always right, when you order extra cheese, you actually GET extra cheese, and they prepare your order FAST. Thank you!

I use the app to order carry out pizzas. Normally, the best pizza around This isn't one of those times Had 3 slices without cheese. This won't dissuade me from ordering again, but hopefully, this won't happen again. Doesn't feel good to add a tip, then have a substandard pie.

When you haven't ordered Pizza in over 8 months, DON'T get it from here! They got the order wrong (TWO toppings) And the Pizza tastes frozen and stale. Never again! Plus, they don't great you when you walk in. They don't even look at you!

All I can legitimately say is that food quality and portions have been greatly reduced while prices have greatly increased (not surprising). I ordered a Papa Bowl with double everything and was charged for it, but what I received was nothing more than two slices of pizzas' worth of toppings in a baked bowl. Taste is good but this is the XTRA Large pizza they are marketing online? Um..... not even the size of costcos.

They delivered my pizza all jacked up! I would not recommend this location!

Walk in tell them the name you are here to pick up for. They say 10 mins. But instead of letting you know your order is done 20 mins later I ask again about the name and its sitting on the shelf getting cold for no reason. Place can't even tell people when their order is done after you already told them your name. And this isn't the first time. Service is literally awful.

I called this establishment trying to order a pizza while intoxicated, fortunately i was lucky enough to comprehend how to call this establishment. Though unfortunately i was greeted with utmost disrespect and the individual decided to use profanity, which as a devout mormon, was extremely offensive.

The chubby girl that seems like the manager is really rude to employees, shouting all the time and blaming them for everything. Waited in store for 20 mins for order and she has a hard attitude towards everyone, bossy to employees, not polite. Employees seem like good people I don’t think they deserve that. This place could be better with better management

The Lady working the phone at 7:00 on 11/15/2024 was absolutely in all meanings of the word a horrible person. She was taking her anger out on her own employees and customers coming in to pick up their food. She was saying every person's name wrong when alerting people that their food was ready she would either say their name wrong, shorten their name so it was unidentifiable, or not say it all like my order. Then was asked if my order was done in her own words said “I said it like 20 times” while I was 4 feet in front of her for 30 minutes and didn’t hear the name called not even once.

If I can give zero stars I would. This is the worst place to order Pizza. Dominos has always being our preferred choice however we decided to try something different for my daughter birthday. I went to the store to order Pizza Friday at 6pm to be picked up Saturday at 1pm. The customer service guy told me they could not take an order from someone like me at that time and I should come back at 8pm as he will prefer to take care of others superior than me. I asked why should I come back to order Pizza when I have been in line waiting for my turn. He then rudely took my order and intentionally scheduled pick up for Sunday instead of Saturday. I knew right away because I was African American and he preferred for a black woman not to order pizza. He stated is because of who you are. The next day my husband went to pick up the Pizza to be told is for Sunday. They almost ruined my little girls birthday party as my husband had to wait for two hours go get the Pizza ready. They just did not want us to buy the Pizza due to our race. This Papa jones has very poor customer service, descriminate with racial intention . We will be filling a complaint with Papa jones corporate for unfair treatment and discrimination with a racial intent. Beware people of color avoid this papa johns Pizza. Racism still exist in 2022, is disgusting.

We recently purchased a new home in the area. We saw an ad for Papa John's pizza and decided to try their pizza. We ordered 3 medium pizzas. One Philly Steak and two triple toppings pizzas. We were very disappointed. The Philly Steak had a few pieces of meat and the Pepperoni should of had 3 toppings of all Pepperoni, however, they only had 1 topping, it was very obvious. It appears that they were trying to save money on the food cost, but they lost a customer forever! .

Will not be ordering from again! There was long black hair throughout the pizza it was disgusting and killed our appetite. The one in New Jersey was amazing but this location not so much we will go back to our usual Dominos they have never let me down this far.
