Very excellent menu for breakfast lunch and dinner. The prices match the portion size you receive and quality too. I came with the family for the first time since it had opened and we were not disappointed. Even though they have a sign saying short staffed, the crew were able to care for us without any major issues. I got the BLT combo that was really delicious. The French fries were of better quality than your fast food joints. Place has good vibes and good people serving you. Try this place out and give some love to our community.
This is a family friendly restaurant. Jenna and Christopher made our patio dining experience great. First time here, had breakfast. I had the peaches & creme crepes with an add on scrambled eggs & turkey sausage. My young man had a pancake stack combo. Yummy food and fantastic service. We will come again!
Drove here from Los Alamos on the Sunday before Veterans Day. Parking wasn’t bad, but there is wheelchair accessible parking. The ones I saw and we had to park in was kind of far away. There might be more on another side. When we walked in, there’s a sheet for you to put your amount of people in your party, the time you arrived, and the name of your party leader. Our lovely waitress today was Summer. Amazing waitress, she made sure to give us refills on our drinks, especially coffee with 2 of our 6 party members! Haha. There was napkins, salt, ketchup, pepper, sugar packets, etc! Really what a good restaurant should be. The menus are nice. The only complaint I have is that where I was sitting, I could kind of feel the wall when I moved my body forward and slammed my back into the wall. It was obviously cushioned into the booth and keywords, “I slammed.” You can’t really notice it, and I’m just being nitpicky. Nice and a lot of room. They have to-go boxes. They also have TVs for your entertainment and possibly I think a bar. They have crepes and pancakes, hash-browns, bacon, coffee, but I don’t think they have Dr. pepper. Soda is not watered down. They provide your party with the correct amount of utensils wrapped neatly in a napkin. Those utensils are a butterknife, a spoon, and a fork. Came here 12:37 pm. We were also quickly seated. They seem to be fully-staffed and have a good amount of servers out at a time for such a small establishment. 5/5 stars, well deserved.
Conveniently located right off the 215 FWY off Los Alamos Rd exit in the 'Sierra Vista Plaza' shopping center near Stater Bros with plenty of parking. For breakfast, I had their 'Mixed Berry Crepes' which consists of 2 Crepes filled with sweet cream cheese, topped with fresh berries, whipped cream, and powdered sugar. I upgraded to a combo by adding 2 eggs and 2 bacon. Everything tasted amazing, with that VIP authentic taste I've come to expect. The restaurant is spacious and organized with counter seating available. There's also a few tables outside. This diner offers so many options from All-day breakfast, burgers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, pasta, and dinner plates. My only minor note is that the service was a little slow here, I had to request a coffee refill. Overall, it's a great spot to get a good and satisfying meal.

Needless to say, the plates were taken way empty. We also both got a bloody mary, nice and spicy, which was great, but for 10.75 a glass, there should have been a little more alcohol in it if there was any at all. Still highly recommend.

VIP Cafe is truly a hidden gem and hands down the BEST restaurant in town! From the moment you walk in, you feel like family. Eva, the owner, and her daughter Claudia are absolutely amazing!!! so warm, welcoming, and attentive. You can truly feel the love and care they pour into this place. The food? OUTSTANDING. The Carne Asada is always perfectly cooked, flavorful, and generous in portion. And the fettuccine Alfredo… wow. It’s honestly better than any Italian restaurant we’ve ever tried! rich, creamy, and absolutely unforgettable! The portions are huge, the plates are beautifully prepared, and everything tastes fresh and delicious every single time. The prices are also incredible for the quality and amount of food you receive. Every employee is consistently kind, attentive, and makes us feel so special whenever we visit. VIP Cafe has become one of our absolute favorite spots, and we recommend it to everyone we know. If you haven’t been yet, you are missing out!!!!
Fire diner. Food portions are worth the cost, when breakfast used to cost 2.99 but now costs 15.99 just about everywhere, VIPs delivers. Sundays has a mimosa tower. Serving food, booze, and kindness. The line is long after 10 am so get there before, but it's worth it and just ask for the patio if the weather is good you'll be seated quickly.
Great little place! Kind of tucked away amongst the stores in the Stater Bros parking lot at Los Alamos X 215. Very clean, extensive affordable menu. Daily specials and great service
Food was good, but tbh the service is what made it, I showed up with my pregnant girlfriend and 3 kids like pre schoolers and our server I belive his name was Leo understood the assignment, he knew how to handle a table full of kids and made it soo easy to get them fed, was respectful and fast, as a parent I’m telling you while someone makes it easy to feed three hungry preschoolers, that’s great service, thank you Leo
Exceptional service! We sat outside in the morning on the patio it wasn't hot yet. Our server was wonderful. The food was delicious. I ate the Eggs Benedict and my bf ate the corned beef. We will be back.
First time at VIP Cafe. The food is good and tastes fresh. Service is fairly quick. I'll return and try out a different plate and provide an update. Reasonable prices with good portion sizes. Update: came back and the food is still good.
My girlfriend and I decided to try this local place, and we were not disappointed at all. The portions are big, and that was a plus. The coffee needs improvement, but everything else was great. The customer service was on point, and the atmosphere was great. I would recommend this cafe to others.
Overall, it was a decent breakfast. Our server was quick, polite and made sure our coffee mugs stayed full. I gave 4 stars only because we had to add salt to almost every plate. We don't usually eat our foods with much salt or anything, but each plate was definitely a bit flavorless at first. Also, the Mexican meatball soup was kind of a joke - see last pic. It literally only contained one (very firm) meatball.

Are you looking for a hidden gem. This place is it. Got the meat lovers burrito and Belgium Waffle. The burrito was amazing. The waffle was just as good. The place is small, but they make some amazing food. This is a must try place.

Restaurant wasn't too busy, but our server was very slow. Slow to take orders slow to bring drinks, didn't check in on us, never offered refill on coffee, water or iced tea. Had to ask multiple times for things (ended up asking other waiters as ours was inattentive). Waiter got my order wrong, and didn't offer to fix or replace it. Just really poor service. Possible it was just this particular waiter. The other ones we had to stop and ask for thing ms were very pleasant and nice and immediately brought us what we needed.

If I could give a ZERO I would! The thing that sucks is that we eat there at least once a week, our delivered meal this time was so over cooked It was ridiculous. I called to speak to the manger and was told he was busy. When I insisted I was told he left for the day! As for the food I threw it in the trash. VIP we will NOT be back.. Scott

The pancakes were so old and dry we couldn't even cut them with a knife. The French toast looked and tasted wrong. Coffee was aweful. Come on...it's a diner. Served water with something floating in it. Waited over 30 minutes for our food, quite a while to be seated even though it was an empty diner. The one star is for the sweet server. It hurt to have to hand over money for this dog food. Absolutely not good food. Not edible. Don't even know how they can, in good conscious, serve us what they did.
