The food there was excellent better then going all the way to La Bufadora. The place was packed with people the people who worked there were super friendly I loved the batter fish tacos with the deep fried jalapenos. I only wish they had one in temescal valley maybe one day my wish will come true. This is definitely a new favorite place of mine.

OMG! If you like carne asada fries bring your appitite as their portions are huge. Hands down the best carne asada fries I have ever had, from the first fry to the last! I'm definitely going to come back and try some of the other dishes!

Very good food usually fast but they get very busy and the inside is small for all the customers they get. But other than that their shrimp burrito is good and their cooked peppers are really good too.

The gentleman at the register was super friendly and helped us pick our meals. Our group ordered the Carne Asada Burrito, a Wet Carne Asada Burrito and the Bufadora Nachos with Carne Asada. Everything was absolutely delicious. I personally had the Nachos and they tasted so good. They had beans, cheese, carne asada, lettuce, sour cream and Pico de gallo. The flavor was delicious. The lettuce and sour cream added a nice cold/crispy texture to the Nachos that exceeded the normal nacho experience. The red salsa was my favorite, it wasn't spicy for us, but had a lot of flavor. I definitely recommend trying La Bufadora. They have a special discounted menu item for ever day of the week.

Food was delicious and salsa bar!! Was in town for a family event and all the out of state guests from AZ, WA and Guam wanted some good mexican food!! It was so delicious and flavorful that we will be back whenever in town.

Had Al pastor tacos and a tostada with carne asada, very delicious and handmade tortillas.

Been here many times and Ill put in this review what I always tell others. Come here when you are in the mood for seafood related mexican food (e.g. fish tacos, shrimp tacos etc). In this regard, La Bufadora is top tier. However if you just want carne asada, regular tacos, or burritos there will better places to eat at. The Fish Baja Tacos (in picture) are some of my favorite and are one of the items that has me coming again and again. Salsas are also very good. Just note that this place is pretty popular and its small inside, so it can get a little cramped (luckily you can eat outside).

I'm a local resident of Murrieta and the shrimp cocktail was really good. But, the restaurant had its A/C too cold. Enough to make your food cool off quick. Prices have gone up drastically. I'll probably make the drive elsewhere.

I had the potato tacos which were pretty good. They could have been a little bit more textured instead of being so soft but otherwise they came with lettuce, some type of sauce and they were pretty crunchy . They were very good. I would definitely recommend them.

I took off 1 star regarding food because the fish in the fish ceviche was very bland, barely seasoned, but the serving was generous. Also, the potatoe tacos are Heavenly. I took one star off of "service", and atmosphere got 4 stars because it's very claustrophobic. I will say it's enjoyable due to a huge deli case full of fabulous choices. We were there for lunch and it was packed. I'll go again.

Great food for the most part, most tacos are good, I wasn't happy with the menudo one day it was cold and I haven't tried it again, my Problem with them is you have to fight to get salsa now everytime!! I ordered two large bags of chips which come with salsa and ordered multiple tacos and they gave me one small salsa like in my picture, they think if you buy a large 4 dollar salsa with your order that makes up for all your orders that come with salsa, Please Give Me What I Paid A For! It happens every time they even start to argue with me when I say I'll pay for more, for this I take off one star almost more but I like their food..

Very good, fish feels fresh but has little flavor, tortilla is good, salsas are good. The breading is good, but a little stuffy. I liked them overall. Paid 12 dlls for 3 fish tacos, I think it's okay. 👍

La Bufadora is in Baja Mexico which means the blowhole there's two of them in the world one in Mexico and one in Hawaii so the place is called the blowhole Baja Grill the food was okay by the way the blowhole is where the ocean comes into the Rocks into a cave and the pressure shoots the water up to a hole in those caves reaching thousands of feet just for your information have a great day

Food is GREAT!! Service is a hit and miss... looks like they've hired new young kids but they don't look like they want to work... not rude... but also not friendly nor inviting. TORTA is good and FISH TACOS is a must... but a year ago they used to be a deal on Wednesday... nowadays they seem to not have any deals everything is regular price I've opted to go elsewhere (when tacos are $1 less and I'm buying 5 at a time... it makes a difference $2.50 vs $3.50)... we used to go every Wednesday... now see just go once a month

Just stopped in for taco tuesday. Very small tacos and all I could taste is tortilla. Tortillas were thick. The al pastor was gristly and hard to chew. The chucks were too big. I should have stuck with my usual SoCal tacos where everything's fresh and always good.

The food is still delicious and the prices are reasonable. But recent changes, not for the better, dropped this place from my list of favorites. Recently, I took my mom, who looks forward to going to La Bufadora when she visits. When our food was ready, we noticed only one roasted pepper was on our tray. I asked the server if we could have one more and she said we had to pay for it, 3 for $1. I made a separate transaction for one dollar, which was very inconvenient having to get back in line. The packaged sauce is delicious, but a downgrade from the former salsa bar options. I’m guessing you have to pay extra if you ask for more salsa, so I didn’t ask. Anyway, hope this place turns it around. It was a fav pick for a long time.

Twice I have come to this location (including today) and twice my order was incorrect. I ordered 3 grilled shrimp tacos both times...both times the cashier repeated it back to me...and both times I received breaded fish tacos. The first time they kindly remade it, but it took up most of my lunch. This time I didnt even bother because I didnt want to waste my lunch...again.

Ceviche subpar served in a plastic little container with a scoop of it, did not try and have not been back to try the rest. They gave me my Jamaica and it was fermented, just told him if I could switch it out, he said he was going to ask, never came back to me. Place is runned by a bunch of teenagers with zero customer aervice. I am Mexican and know my ceviche, that was not good and neither was the service. Not going back!!

I ordered a party tray for a party. They were missing our rice and beans and swapped out my soup for birria so i didnt have another option for non meat eaters let alone they only gave onions and cilantro for two tacos 😢😢😢 run go else where when i called the store to try and communicate the phone rang busy so i called corporate they offered me $10. If you are having a party go else where this is not the place.

I ordered a takeout meal and when I went to pick it up, it wasn’t ready. The cashier realized she never submitted the order so she placed it after I waited in a long line. So I sat and waited longer and noticed a lot of customers got their food that came after me. Finally I went to ask about my order and it was just sitting there, but they never called my name. Once I got home, everything was completely wrong. I love their tacos, but after this I’m not going back there.

I had the fries with chicken and sour cream, guacamole, some of the fries were hard and cold . I ate two forks of it and threw it away… Truly Gross!!!

This place has gone really down hill the service is terrible I have been coming here for 10 years and kept away hoping it would of changed.They no longer have a salsa bar,so they charge you for everything,I came on a Saturday March 1 2025 around 5:15 and that girl had such a bad attitude I asked please to not put rice and beans in my burrito and she made a big deal about saying crap in Spanish,I told in Spanish that I understand everything your saying. I left after because she kept giving me dirty looks and smirking that girl should be terminated. Prices are crazy and this owner got greedy I will never step foot in this store again.

Never again,this place it trash, I guess they must use eggs for the batter because it was expensive as hell. Had to purchase extra yellow chili's and got green. It was to go.. threw that straight in the trash including the green chili's I got when I purchased yellow. Then my burrito was like a happy meal size

Go to another location if you can. It has great food, however for the last couple of months the service there has been awful. I go on Monday around 7pm and the same lady who is on staff handing out sauce and the food will me extremely rude. Consistently, I have ordered 6+ tacos and will get minimal sauce. I had my family member pick up an order for us and she noticed there was no sauce. When she asked for some she rolled her eyes and gave us 2. For 6 tacos and two servings. This happens to me consistently. I do not experience this at other locations and it makes the trip not worth it. If you go try and go another time to avoid her

Really sad about the because this has been out to go spot for months now. We love the tacos. However Due to the bad service we have received and due to them “loosing our order” 2 weeks in a row. We will not be going back. When you make a mistake as a business you need to own it and apologize. If that would’ve been done or if they may offer us a free drink while we wait the 45 min to get out food we called in ahead of time. An apology anything?!!!! Unfortunately you have lost our business for good. Say sorry for your mistakes and it can really make a difference.

This kind of nickel-and-diming for ingredients you promote in your marketing is disappointing and misleading. Not the experience I’ve come to expect.
