Auntie Pasta’s Besides the unique name of this restaurant the food and service never disappoints. Parking is plentiful and social distancing rules are applied. Tables are spaced far apart and there is hand cleaner as you enter. Started off with an appetizer that was more than enough for two people. The Uncle Vito’s Italian Nacho is delicious. Comes with Pesto Chips, Italian Sausage, Pepperoncini, Jalapeños, and a Homemade Marinara sauce. Bread is also provided that comes out warm and satisfying; accompanied with Olive Oil. My lunch partner enjoyed fully the Homemade Lasagne. Again a very large portion is not a problem here. For me it was the other unique name on the menu; Forgetabout It! A tasty sandwich that is between a Fresh Italian Loaf. There is Hand Breaded Chicken Medallions, Ham, Bacon, Sautéed Mushrooms, Provolone Cheese, and Alfredo Sauce. The selections along with the size of those dishes makes it a little difficult not to leave this great place without a “People Bag.”
My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Auntie Pasta's. Fresh bread was excellent, witha nice crisp crust, calamari appetizer was good, and our Caesar salads were excellent, with fresh dressi g, but not too much. My wife's Mediterranean Seafood Scampi was outstanding, and my Pork Ribeye with marsala was exquisite. Tender and juicy, spiced perfectly, and the green bean side was easily some of the best green beans I've ever had. Service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. And price was unbelievable, less than $75 for both of us, not counting tip. We will definitely be back
Life changing pasta. The balsamic caramelized chicken was to die for. The Red Fish was also deliciously flaky. We were probably the last table of the night so our service was a little rushed, but we enjoyed all the food especially the fresh baked bread. Their Cosmos are huge. Understandably the most recommend restaurant in Nacogdoches.
We were first timers. It was move in day for my oldest at SFA! I brought her to a "See You Soon" dinner here. We were very impressed with the food, our waitress was super friendly, and the restaurant was just so welcoming. It was a great way to send her off. Also was a good distraction for my Mommy heart. This place will hold special memories and we will definitely eat here on visits.
Googled top restaurants near me and it picked up Auntie’s Pasta. We were on the road from Houston to Shreveport and decided to give it a try. The food was excellent! I had the stuffed manicotti and it was seasoned perfectly. My husband had the spaghetti and added sausage it was not only good but so much food! We definitely will stop by again. Oh and our waitress was kind, friendly, and accommodating. Great job Auntie! Don’t change a thing!
Passing through on our way to Ohio & Auntie Pasta's was recommended. Stopped in today & have to say the food was amazing! Our server, Elaina was the best best!! If in the area make this a definite stop & ask for Elaina!
This restaurant was beautiful and not to busy. The food was really good, especially the crab cakes. We grabbed sopamias to go and are looking forward to those.
I had a case of the depressies. Came to pickup food from here. And i dont want to be dramatic, but the jalapeño crawfish chowder specifically, had me forgetting about everything ...it was DELICIOUS!!!! And an honorary award to the fried calamari, great price for what you get.
A very hip place in an old warehouse next to the tracks. Friendly service and the food came out surprisingly quick for how busy they were. The kitchen is right there in the open and you can see them whipping up your dinner. A decent portion, so a fair value for the price. If I'm ever back in Nacogdoches I'll try their steak. The only thing mildly different from the many other places I have been to in the South and Midwest was that they took their trash cans right through the main entryway to get to the dumpsters out front. I assume this is necessary due to the old building.
This is a very good and very authentic Italian restaurant. When I go through Nacogdoches this is a must stop for me.
In town for a wedding so we had a large group. We were seated quickly, service was excellent and the food was amazing. I'm not sure if the history of the building but it looks to have been associated with the railroad years ago, a very neat place for sure.
Absolutely delicious, wonderful atmosphere. My husband and I's favorite place to go out and eat. The baguette is delicious and we always get one to go for free.
Honestly, after the last two dozen bad dining experiences we had in Lufkin, Houston, and Louisiana, this was a refreshing reminder that a properly-run restaurant provides a wonderful dining experience. My wife actually said “this couldnt have been any better”. I noticed our waitress wearing black latex gloves when she bussed other tables - WHAT A NICE TOUCH! It’s about time a restauranteur gave a flip about the customer. Great job guys!
I always grade based on chicken parmigiana, and this was exceptional. Even got to take home 1/2 because of quantity! And they start you off with roasted garlic and olive oil along with fresh-baked bread. No room for dessert.
Loved the carmelized balsamic chicken, and the tiramisu. Kaitlyn was a great server
Excellent food and service. We will definitely be back. Axe em Jacks!!
While I was visiting my parents in East Texas they treated me to dinner at Auntie Pasta’s. Each of us loved our food (chicken piccata, Mediterranean shrimp scampi, and a fajita chicken salad)! The portions are generous and delicious! My pasta was perfectly al dente. We enjoyed the ambience of the historic building and jazz/swing music. Our server Bailey was amazing!
We had a wonderful birthday dinner for my son!! He wanted Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo until he saw the Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo!! He was very pleased!! We all were! The food was delicious and abundant!! Out sweet server, Bailey, was incredible!! Very professional yet very friendly!! Made no mistakes and made us smile!! It was a perfect evening!!
I’ve been coming to Auntie pastas for the past 2 years, I’ve tried to get different things and I’ve found a few that are really good. Today I had the parmesan crusted salmon that’s served with basil infused angel hair pasta and it’s the best thing I’ve had here so far. The salmon is cooked perfectly and the flavors are A-MAZ-ING!! Our waitress was attentive and we’ve had great experiences nearly every time we’ve gone!
I try to go to Auntie Pasta's every time I'm in the area. I love it! Great food, atmosphere and service.
We ate here yesterday and it was fantastic! The spaghetti and meat sauce was unbelievably good. The bread was so hot and delicious. We had cheese sticks and spinach/artichoke dip. We will be back very soon!
Food was great when you come in your seated then they come out with roasted garlic on a plate and some nice fresh bread you pour olive oil over it and spread on the bread it's delicious. I had ravioli in lemon butter sauce with shrimp with mozzarella baked over the top was amazing. My wife had the chicken parm and it was also cook great. Everything was exploding with flavor.
I had the seafood fettuccine was delicious hubby had the grilled chicken it was the best chicken he's had in a long time
If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I totally would !! Came here on a Saturday night. The service was very good, for we got seating really fast. The atmosphere was really nice, and I liked the aesthetic of the place. Parking itself was not an issue, for there is a big parking lot located outside of the restaurant. As for the food itself, it was so delicious and at such a good price! I ordered the Chicken alfredo, and it was soooo good. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend for you to check this place out !
A fantastic experience, perfect service, and amazing food. Here’s the story. I’ve gone here a handful of time over the last couple years, and other than the vibe - I wasn’t really impressed. Food was decent, but nothing special. They have a new kitchen manager - and I’ve gone twice in the last week. The Chicken Piccata was flawless, and the service was amazing. One of my best meals I’ve had in Nac in the last couple years, and they’re going to be in my regular rotation now.
If visiting or passing through Nacogdoches stop by auntie pastas. I graduated from SFA so this was my go to place for Italian. The staff are down to earth. Axe'em jacks!!
We had such a sweet girl help us for pick up, food who was so good love this so much. All employees were sweet and treated us like family
Best Italian in Nacogdoches / Lufkin area! The historic building and unique decor make a great atmosphere. The food is so good! I love the manicotti, but swap the marinara for their delicious Alfredo sauce! Makes great leftovers if you end up eating the whole loaf of bread and one of the many delicious starters the meatballs and shrimp wantons are awesome!
The Mama's spicy chicken and shrimp is a must have, great portion size. Offer zoodles for gluten free option, worked well with the meat sauce.
We had a group of 14 of us that reserved the private room and we had an amazing meal! The food was fantastic and the service was great! Blake was amazing in helping us arrange it all and we highly recommend Auntie Pastas! We’ve had a great experience every time we’ve dined there.
We are visiting the Nacogdoches area and felt like Italian for dinner. Goggled local restaurants and Auntie Pastas was the first return. Tried to link to their website but could not because of a data base error. We found a menu link on travelocity and the food options sounded very good. We arrived at 5:30 PM on a Tuesday and the restaurant was starting to get busy. So plan accordingly. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere with an attentive and friendly wait staff. They have happy hour from 5 until I am not sure the ending time where Entree's are 2 dollars off. That made the cheese pizza 3 dollars and the homemade cheese sticks 6 dollars. The pizza is a very nice sized 6 slice pizza and the cheese sticks had 5 in an order. The food was delicious! The serving size was a large portion. There are great vegetarian options. They just started offering a vegetarian meatball. I did not try those this trip. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to all pasta lovers. The photos are of the Skinny Vinny pasta plate. Vegetables and your choice of pasta. I had the Penne. The other dish is stuffed shells and a virgin strawberry daiquiri.
Our server, Baxter, was amazing! We had a group of 17 and he was always on top of everything including bread, refills, food, and he and a few others sang happy birthday. The food was amazing as well. 11/10 recommend!
This restaurant has the best lasagna I’ve ever tried before! I ordered the Colizzi's Combo and it was delicious not to mention the service and ambiance (despite the restaurant being extremely busy) were also incredible. If you’re in the area, it’s almost an obligation that you have to stop by and grab a bite here!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🍝
The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fantastic, but our server, Logan, made the evening just perfect! Thanks for a lovely evening!
Food was amazing and the server was great. They have a ton of delicious menu items for very reasonable prices. They dont skimp on portion sizes, so come hungry.
What a fantastic little spot to eat! The building is some kind of old railroad warehouse - very charming. They have a great variety of Italian foods. Our favorite was the lasagna - thick and packed with flavor. This place gets crazy busy at peak hours, so prepare for a wait or go in an off-time.
Absolutely divine! My wife and I are so grateful to have stopped at Auntie Pasta while staying in Nacogdoches on our way back home and it was amazing! The BREAD!! SHEESH! Our waitress was superb, the entire staff was welcoming and friendly. And the food…chef’s kiss! People of Nac and passerby’s, do yourself a favor and get you some great food!
I had the lunch pizza and my husband had the chicken fettuccine. They were both very delicious! The atmosphere is great. Love the music that they have playing for our enjoyment as we are eating. Service was excellent. Gianna R. was a delight as our server. If you haven't never eaten here you really need to try it!!
Another great find in Nacogdoches. Wonderful atmosphere. Has the look of an old warehouse converted to a restaurant. But the atmosphere is fun and elegant. Service was good and food was great. I had the crab cakes and the jalapeño crawfish chowder and my wife had the parmesan crusted salmon over angel hair pasta. Lots of food, bring an appetite or get ready for left overs. They have pan seared Redfish which will be my next food dining experience the next time I am in Nacogdoches. Also take time to tour the downtown just blocks away. Lots of history and stores galore for every taste.
I had lunch here 2 weeks ago while visiting my college child. I asked for recommendations for good places to eat in Nacagodoches in a social media page, and you guys were the top recommendation. My daughter and I had the homemade lasagna and my husband had the chicken Capone it was delicious. This North Texas family will definitely be back, such of a great restaurant.
This place is a great local gem I'm guessing! The atmosphere had a bit of fancy feeling mixed with the hustle and bustle of a regularly busy restaurant. Tables were spaced well and still felt decently private even though there were a lot and no booths or wall structures to create separation. Minimal table decor but well done. The only thing id change is either adding cloth napkins to class things up or just more napkins than the single disposable one on the silverware. They brought fresh baked bread in a bag with a small dish of seasonings you can pour oil and dip in. Although simple, it was delicious. My husband ordered the lasagna and I had the tilapia. Both were quite excellent. Everything was cooked very well. Sauces had great flavor. And the staff was exceedingly helpful and friendly. Also, the prices were very reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food! The menu had numerous options to choose from and I would definitely come again!
Watching wait staff clear tables entertaining! Dishes are wrapped in paper (foods are served atop this table "cloth") & I have never seen 25+ glasses stacked & carried, with the bundled dishes, to clear a table! Perhaps just the one servers preferred method..but notable! Excellent foods & service; knowledgeable about menu..& if not, found the answers for us. As a previous customer commented ...would again drive those two hours (Medical appointment) for this dining experience! Crab cakes for the hubby...flavorful; perfectly sized for him as he has to have smaller portions so would suggest ordering the two patties ( choices are 1 or 2 patties)..& they are not thin! Full bar as well & yes, enjoyed that too. My chicken was excellent as well & the bread with garlic pieces in oil...my oh my, the loaf stayed warm in that paper sack doubling as it's container!
Wonderful experience! I had chicken picatta, mom had garlic chicken, dad had Guadalupe chicken, all three dishes were delicious! My picky daughter had a special request which was met without issue. Our waiter, Hunter was the best! Even with multiple other tables, one of which being a large party, he was still attentive and was even thoughtful enough to be sure to ask my kid if her meal came out as she requested. Rare to find a restaurant with delicious food AND outstanding service! We will definitely eat here again and recommend that you give it a try as well!
Wonderful experience. Great vibes. The Italian nacho's are to die for. staff was friendly. Clean restrooms.

So good!!!! They have the best spaghetti, Bolognese I have ever had. It's also such a pretty place to go for a nicer date night!
The bread was warm and tasty! The Ceasar salad and lasagna were delicious! The service was great. Loved the warm ambiance. It felt like an Italian kitchen.
Home made bread. Italian sodas. Need I say more? This place is a gem. Our waitress was not only so personal but she really went over the top. Can't wait to go back.
Amazing service, exceptional food, reasonable prices for their awesome quality. Authentic.
Every time I get the chance to come here the food and service is always great. My wife and I love to come here for date night and have a few Belinis and Italian Margaritas. This is by far the best …

Absolutely amazing will be back food was delicious service was great can't say enough good things about this place
Food was good, but it took a really long time for meals to come out
I ate there yesterday for the first time. I ordered a chicken Alfredo pasta and two lasagnas to go. The pasta was well prepared, but it had a smoky flavor that I didn't quite like. I don't know if the recipe there is like that . The lasagnas I ordered to go were spectacular. We travel a lot and have visited countless Italian restaurants. This lasagnas were very tasty and had just the right amount of ingredients. The lady who served me was very friendly..
The pizza was good i liked the crust, the ranch has good flavor, also tried the shrimp wonton they were good with great flavoring and spices. The red sauce was good with the wontons,Chicken alfredo was lacking in flavoring, needed more parmesan cheese. The oil and the breed tasted good & we did take out!
Great Brick Street Burger (the best)! But, children's meals should be served ahead of adults.
Dined here tonight and we had a good meal...good food, good prices (nothing crazy wow just good food and fair pricing)...all made better by our server, Tyrone. He made great recommendations when asked, and is highly motivated. When we walked in, a bunch of servers were just standing around talking and no one looked too interested in greeting and seating us, one girl greeted us and then looked around for a place for us, meanwhile Tyrone took the "bull by the horns" and asked if we wanted a table or a booth and then promptly seated us in his section. He was very attentive throughout our meal and as time went on he became more comfortable and talkative. We enjoyed our time with him and Tyrone definitely made our dining experience tonight! He admitted that he is new on the job, well he is an asset to your establishment who is only going to get better with time. Thanks Tyrone!!
This place was charming. It's a building with a lot of character. They have zoodles, so people that have gluten allergies can eat and enjoy Italian Cuisine. There is a $2 upcharge to get cheese baked on top of your food. This charge is ABSOLUTELY worth it! The lasagna, chicken alfreado, and piccata were wonderful. However... The chicken marsala which was my husband's dish was awful. I'm not sure if the wine they used was bad or what. But, everything else was great. I reccomend asking your server for the lemon basil sauce to dip your bread in. It's wonderful!
I’m a fan of non-chain local restaurants and we enjoyed the food and casual atmosphere in this historic building. The Parmesan encrusted salmon special was a large portion and yummy. You get a large loaf of garlic dusted bread for to start off. Neighboring tables had some fantastic looking fried nachos and huge portions of lasagna. Somehow we had enough room for dessert, which we had the chocolate cake. It was okay; I totally did not NEED more food. I’m glad we veered off the Highway to visit.
The eggplant parmasean was very good but it was paired with inedible spaghetti. It was so bitter and the flavor was off.
We started off with some great appetizers. I highly recommend the calamari. We had 4 different dipping sauces. They were trying a new recipe for their basil sauce. Creamy but had a lot of lemon and missed the clean garlic flavor to a good pesto. The spicy alfredo was very tasty. We had the chicken Lombardi, it had a good flavor and big portion. We also shared the sirloin marsala. The steak was cooked so well and had a great earthly flavor. Great place to eat Nacogdoches
I'm not from Nacogdoches. The guy at the city visitor center recommended the place. I was a little concerned it might be a "Tourist Trap". I can't say it's not, but I can say I'd gladly go back. The atmosphere is casual and fun, but nice enough for date night. The table of ladies next to us were a bit raucous ("girls night out I guess"). We had the "shrimp wonton" appetizers. They were not what I expected, but they were very good. I'd recommend them. I had "Mama's Spicy Chicken and Shrimp". It was very good. My son had some kind of combo platter. It was very generous and apparently very good. (He didn't share!). One of my pet peeves is restaurants with lousy beer selection. Auntie Pasta's has a reasonably good beer list including some local brews. If I recall, the beers I had were from the Fredonia brewery. They were decent beers, but more importantly, I had the opportunity to try a new (to me) and local brew. Our experience would have been awesome if it were not for the wait. It took way too long to get our food. Maybe if I wanted to drink more (like the ladies "next door") I wouldn't have noticed. Our waitress apologized for the long wait. She told us there were only two cooks in the kitchen. It was a Tuesday night. My dinner was also not piping hot (my son's was). It may have had to wait on his! If I could give half stars, I'd probably take half a star away for the wait. On the other hand, if it weren't for the wait, it might have been 4.5*.
Great atmosphere in an old warehouse, but it is loud on the inside! Super attentive staff. Friendly and energetic. The food was for the most part tasty. The jalapeno glaze on the artichokes is super sweet, needs some acid to balance the flavors. Diavolio needed lots more spice to be devilish. Over, a pleasant dinner, needs a bit of fine tuning.
This was my second visit and it had been a couple years between visits. Food was better the first time which stuck in our memory. Our waiter was great! Other than that everyone just seemed to be standing around. The restaurant itself is very charming and has a good style. The kitchen was a bit slow getting our lunch order out when even though there weren't many customers around that afternoon. Could have just been a bad day. As an outside observer who comes into town infrequently, I would think back and remember what made you memorable (which you did to me and my family the first time). Sometimes complacency sets in slowly and you don't realize it. Sometimes you don't notice it when you're in the middle of it all, but I did notice a big difference between my visits. Don't get me wrong it still is good, just wasn't that memorable experience like the first time.
Food and service were really good. Chicken Alfredo and parmesan chicken were both delicious. Also liked the atmosphere and they let kids draw on the table. The only thing I didn't like was the bill. Overpriced compared to other places in Nac
We ate here for dinner on our last night visiting the area. My husband and I shared a pizza with mushrooms and spinach and my daughter had the lasagna. The pizza was very cheesy and has a light tasting tomato sauce. My daughter, who can be picky, said "this is the best lasagna I've ever had". They gave her a nice size square and she finished it all. When I asked her what made it so good, she replied "everything". A loaf of fresh bread comes with the meal and it was good.
Came here for the first time for a birthday lunch. Really shocked I’ve never visited here before either. Had a lovely time! It’s on the back side of Clear Springs in Nacogdoches. I never even knew there was anything past that area! Granted, I don’t live here, but I’ve visited Clear Springs enough. There’s some pretty flowers upon entering the restaurant, with a decent patio to the right. I’d actually spiff up the patio a bit more but that’s just me. Upon entering you walk down a ramp and into a weird bar area. This is another area I’d change up to make it more inviting. The food, though I got zero pics of it, was quite good. We had lasagna, chicken Marsala, chicken Capone, and some other things. The Capone was super spicy so be forewarned! And the bread they serve is delish. One major thing that needs changing are the Italian cream sodas. We ordered a few and they all were just substandard. They used way too much cream with hardly any syrup and I’m not even sure carbonated water was in there. They were very lackluster. Will definitely return again next time I’m in town, though! Good service and nice experience.
Our waiter was excellent. The restaurant is really cool. Lots of "old" stuff in this old building. I was slightly disappointed in the food. I had spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were very dry.…
Great Italian food here! Out of 10 I'll give it a 6!\nGreat staff, the wait is not that long and I don't know if that's good or bad.\nGreat spot, great food, great staff!

Food was good tonight. Waitress was great. However the AC was non existent in our section. Moved to the bar area to cool off.
This was our first time going. We went for our sons birthday, hostess began seating others when we had been there past 30 mins. Finally was seated, server and food was wonderful.
The food was good, but I really think overpriced for the quality, and it was HOT in there. It could have just been the crowd but I was sweating. Our server was really sweet and ran her tail off taking care of us and her other tables.
It's ok. The restaurant has an ice atmosphere however there is dirt all over every vent in the ceiling that is over the tables which I found to be disgusting since I was eating in there. I've had a couple dishes They were good The last one I had was a shrimp appetizer and the shrimp was overcooked It was rubbery and did not taste good service was friendly
Well, I am not one to leave bad reviews very often. I loved the atmosphere and the service was top notch but I was quite disappointed with the eggplant parm. I wouldn't get it again. Next time in town I'll give another dish a try. Maybe it will help me amend this review! Truly though, the vibes were great!
Service was not good at all, bad on refilling drinks, never left us with napkins and had to wait over 7 -10 minutes to even have the chance to ask for some. The bathroom was so ghetto with curse words on the bathroom trim and I would be so upset if I had children with me! That “graffiti” didn’t happen in a day or overnight! Decided we will NOT be returning. Felt bad energy like the staff had friction.
Nice decor but the service and food was disappointing. We ordered two sides of Alfredo sauce to dip bread in and it came out cold and thick. Then we had to ask for the bread. We assumed they’d bring it without asking. I had the combo and the lasagna was lukewarm. Chicken parmigiana was good. Wife had the Chicken Marsala and said it was very good. Might try them one more time to see if it was a bad night for the restaurant.
Laat three times have been a disappointment. Fist there was the chicken marsala....water thin marsala with no flavor and very thin chicken. Second time ordered the trio of chicken Parmesan, Alfredo and lasagna. Out of lasagna so got double helping of Alfredo. Woke up the next morning with food poisoning. Third and last time ordered shrimp primavera. Shrimp was so tough it was inedible. Won't be back.
I recently visited Auntie Pasta's on 1/15/26, and while there were some highlights, my experience was somewhat mixed. Upon arrival, the hostess was incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. However, that positive impression started to fade when we got bad service from the waitress. It seemed like our waitress was more focused on socializing with friends than attending to her job, leading to a delay in getting our drinks. We decided to order the house salad, but I regrettably have to say it was brown and soggy, indicating a lack of freshness. On a brighter note, we also tried the lasagna, which was a definite improvement over the salad. It had a rich flavor and was well-prepared. Overall, Auntie Pasta's had some potential, but there are definitely areas that need improvement, particularly in customer service quality and service attentiveness.
Much more casual than expected. They were very busy, but the waiter was still attentive, though not extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Some sauces are pre-made and cannot have items removed. Steak was over cooked, but had good flavor.
Food was ok. Prices seemed a bit high and menu was lacking variety. Tables are a bit close to one another.

Nice ambience. Nice staff. I don't remember what we got but it was meh. The bread dipping sauce seasoning was just overfried garlic pieces.

Unfortunately, this is not a pet-friendly restaurant. After driving 6 hours, we were looking forward to enjoying a nice dinner here, but the manager informed us that pets are not allowed inside. Disappointing experience.
