Emmy Squared Pizza - Green Hills

Outstanding and friendly bartender outstanding and friendly server this place could not be more friendly and easy to get to. The food was outstandingly delicious as it matches the flavors and unique textures of the New York location. Sauce is dripping from the pizza and cheese is stretching from the slice as you take your first bite. Could not be more Blown Away by the complex flavors and extremely thoughtful cocktail pairings.

As someone who is from the Detroit area, I really miss a good Detroit style pizza. I got the margarita pizza and the my husband had the sausage and pepperoni. We both loved our pizzas. Ingredients were really fresh and flavorful. Crust was the closest to a Detroit style pizza that I’ve had outside of the Michigan area and some of the best pizza in the area. Definitely recommend.

i honestly don’t know why there was hardly anyone when we walked in! this was the best pizza i’ve had in a long time! the staff was super friendly! 10/10 will be back again!

Emmy Squared (Green Hills) was the perfect place to host a co-ed baby shower! The private event room is gorgeous and just the right size. The food was, of course, delicious. The service, impeccable. Caitlin, the event coordinator, was friendly, thorough and accommodating of our budget. Absolutely wonderful, all around!

Excellent pizza with gluten-free crust available. Create your own or choose from their creative menu. Cocktails and frozen drinks are amazing and their appetizers are delicious. Highly recommend!

We ordered an Emmy pie to go and it was amazing! Loved all the flavors. I usually don’t go for thick pizza, but they do it well!! It was big enough for two people.

When I walked in the hosted waited on me immediately! I was seated and greeted with a smile by my server. As you can see by my pictures the pizza is loaded and the crust is crispy not soggy! I had the BIG ANG with double pecorino, sheep cheese very mild and very creamy! I have to say my day needed at the end of the rainbow 🌈

A friend and I met here for lunch last week and had the best waiter, Cameron. He was so helpful with our indecisive pizza choices 😂 they have a great $14 lunch special! We got 2 pieces of the deep dish pizza and a side of the Brussel sprout salad that is to dieeee for. Thank you Cameron!

We came in for dinner for the first time and was so impressed. Our server Sommer really made the expierence memorable. When I say she was amazing, I truly mean it. She was so attentive and had incredible knowledge. Request Sommer!!

Had an amazing experience here the other day! Everything was a 10/10. Food and drinks and especially the service! Sommer was so knowledgeable about the menu and so sweet. She really elevated the experience to a whole new level. I can’t wait to be back!

I accidentally ordered uber eats pickup from the gulch location and ended up at the green hills location and they were so kind and made me the same pizza so I didn’t have to drive across town. Incredible gluten free crust and a service!

We brought a large group (~20 people) and the handled us with no problem. The pizzas were delicious, the chicken Caesar salad was perfectly dressed, and Richard our server was so accommodating. I’m looking forward to my leftovers and coming back soon!

My husband and I LOVE to come here before seeing a movie! The cheesy garlic sticks and Ezzo pizza are our favorite! Don't forget the cocktails! Crafted to perfection. Service, atmosphere, and vibes are always the best! Chris had great recommendations on food and drinks! We will be back!

First time here and the place was amazing. Good selection on music. We were recommended the Seoul Mate and you got to try it. The brownie was so good. The server she was lovely as well. I'm definitely coming back.

Very clean and calm atmosphere. Camron was our waiter and he was so attentive and kind. We ordered the Delux pizza and added whatever toppings we wanted to it. At the end, we even got a Brownie and ice cream on the house, it was so good! Thanks Emmy Squared Green Hills for a great experience.

Always love Emmy Squared! It’s such a perfect spot to hit before seeing a movie. My go-to is the Angel Pizza and you have to get the Zia fries. So yum!!!

One of my favorite spots for dinner in Nashville! I specifically always come to the Green Hills location for the best quality food, friendly staff, and clean restaurant. The cheesy garlic sticks are a must order for us! Phil always makes sure we are welcomed and well taken care of!

I love Emmy Squared, have always loved their pizza & brussels sprout salad. I had an issue with a gift card recently and the manager, Philip was so kind and accommodating to help sort it all out and take care of me. Made my day. Fantastic place to eat after shopping! Great atmosphere and service was wonderful! We had the VIP pizza, which is my all-time favorite! 10/10 would recommend. The manager, Chris, was very helpful and kind!

This was my first time coming here and I can say that I left very satisfied! I never take the time to do any reviews, but I had to do one for them! Josh was an amazing waiter and checked on us just enough. He was very knowledgeable about the food and friendly. The chef walked around introducing himself and he was very wholesome. He doesn’t believe in freezing meat and won the #1 burger in New York and #22 in the whole world! He seemed to love what he does and strives for to make his customers happy. The atmosphere had the perfect volume. Not too loud, but not the awkward silence! Friendly conversations around with all different genre music and beautiful decor! The garlic breadsticks were beyond amazing with wonderful flavor. The Founders pizza had the perfect flavor combination. The brownie ice cream dessert tasted fresh…. not something that you just microwave and warm it up, this brownie was melting with the ice cream!

My husband and I love Emmys. It’s holds such a special place in our hearts, we come here for almost every special occasion. I can’t say enough about the food. Zia fries and Pizza are always a must here. The service is always great and staff is always friendly. Shout out to Phillip and Josh who hosted and waited on us for lunch. Josh makes a mean cocktail, the pear pressure was excellent.

We have visited the Germantown location a few times, so when we went shopping at the mall the kids saw the Emmy Squared sign and wanted to go for pizza after spending a few hours Christmas shopping. The location is huge. It has soft seating booths (partially anyway) which the kids like. Since I had the kimchi pizza at the other location and loved it, I tried the kimchi burger, and it did not disappoint. It's a hopped-up version of the regular burger. The service was great, they have more of a draft selection in this one, which I like. We saw a familiar face, the manager from the Germantown location is also the manager at this location. He remembered us and again my daughter's food allergy issue. We would come back to this location when in the area, but the Germantown location is closer to where we live.

On July 15th, 2024, a Monday, we had the pleasure of visiting this establishment. Although it was quiet due to the day of the week, it did not detract from the overall experience. The food was exceptional, prepared fresh on-site, showcasing their dedication to quality. The owner is a courteous and engaging gentleman, demonstrating genuine hospitality. The venue offers a refined and welcoming atmosphere, complemented by activities for children, such as drawing and painting. Overall, it is a neat and charming location, and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

Great atmosphere! The staff is super nice. I was waited on by Nicole and John, who provided excellent service. The place smelled clean. I had the large cheese pizza, it was delicious, and the cheese had both crunch and pull. The sauce was zesty, and the crust was both crispy and pillow-like. The apple pie was, meh. It's just baked apples in a cast iron skillet and caramel sauce and whipped cream. They were out of ice cream, so $1 was taken off.

The pizza is so good here! I definitely recommend. The wings are also flavorful!Would definitely get again. The burger is overpriced and not that great. It also doesn't come with anything. I would not recommend it. Service was decent. The pizza will bring me back!

Great place located in a good area. Our server Carter was super great and very knowledgeable with excellent service. Food was delicious. We did not get any pizza but will try it next time for sure. The portion received on the food that we ordered was a lot and worth it. Fries are sold separately! We also tried the brussel sprout salad, it was different but good. Pizza dough is made with organic products.

Props to Emmy Squared for coming up with their own gluten free pizza crust. It’s really dense and heavy compared to the toppings. Appreciate the effort though! Enjoyed the colony gluten free pizza, kale and Brussel sprouts are amazing!

Very solid cheesey bread, great pizza too. Went mid day and not many staff around so was a little confusing when I first arrived and it was empty of staff/people.

Got a tip that the pizza here is really good. And once I found out it was all Detroit Style, I was in. Born n raised in Michigan. I love Detroit Style. I picked it up cuz I was at the sports bar in the mall. Its a very nice restaurant. Definitely looks like a perfect place to take a date. I got my pizza and sat in my car and had a slice before my drive home. I got the EZZO. $30+ for a large. It looked really good! The taste was just ok. Not very flavorful, except for the hot honey. I didnt get any kind of bite or kick from the pickled jalapeños. Still a decent pizza. But I expected better. Especially for the price. The dough wasn't very thick. Though it did have the crunch of the crust and the fluffiness.

Service sucked but pizza was delicious! The staff here is completely lackluster and it’s almost as if they think it’s only the food quality that makes a good dining experience. I had to search for my server on several occasions for the standard that should have been provided without any guest having to ask. The soft drinks are served in very small glasses loaded with ice and they were terribly flat with virtually no carbonation. I loved the pizza itself and that was the only good part of the experience.

The crust is nice and crunchy on their pizzas. However, flavors are just kind of bland. Not enough salt. Ezzo - 8/10 Margharita with added sausage - 3/10 Breadsticks - 7/10

When the food is made right, the pizza is great. About 80% of the time I order a pizza, the middle is still a blob of dough. It gets sent back to be remade and usually comes out perfect on the second try. Service is okay. I have only dined in a handful of times and server is usually fine. They don't tend to check in unless you still need to order or food is ready. It is kind of hard to flag them down for a check or if you need extra napkins.

I have been ordering from and eating at Emmys for years now on a weekly basis. It has consistently been my go to restaurant for a great take out pizza and it has, up until recently, been a highlight of my and my family's week. However, for the past few weeks there has been a noticeable decline in the quantity and quality of our orders. We always get the zia fries are usually very satisfied by them, but for the past month or so the size of the orders have been consistently about half the size that they have been for years. Similarly, the portion size of sides has significantly decreased in the past few weeks and I routinely don't even get sides of ranch dressing that I order. We would always have leftovers for lunch the next day with our typical orders, which would justify the relatively expensive cost of about $60-70 for a single pizza, fries, and kids pizza sticks, but since the portion reduction, leftovers are a thing of the past. I am really having a tough time justifying spending so much for food that is rapidly decreasing in quantity and quality like this. I'm willing to give Emmy's another chance because it has been such a favorite spot for so long, but after that I think I've got to be done with this place. I really hope whatever changes have been implemented are reversed because they are quite noticeable and really disappointing.

Very disappointed. Based on the photos from the menu and the high price of the pizzas, we expected really good pizza. Our pizzas were very bready. Seemed like flatbread, not pizza. Scant toppings, scant sauce. We got the Quinn, the Big Ang, and the Nashville Hot Chicken pizza. All were dry, over-baked. The meatballs on the Big Ang were burnt. All the cheese on all 3 pizzas was overcooked and dry/hard. I will say the Brussels sprouts appetizer was delicious. When we picked up our takeout order, I stood at the hostess table waiting, then tried to make eye contact with the staff in the kitchen who looked like they were making conversation with each other, then did that same thing 3 times. Finally I walked to the kitchen and someone started looking for my order. She then walked to the front of the restaurant but didn't say anything to me, so I eventually followed her up there without her acknowledging me. We finally found my order sitting at the front with someone else's name on it. Just generally not a $90 experience which is what I paid for 3 pizzas and Brussels sprouts.
