After a fun night we decided to stop in for a very early breakfast. The servers were awesome. As with many restaurants right now as of September 2022 businesses are shorthanded staff. We appreciate those who are working and give them credit for trying to provide quality service. Our food was normal iHop fare but made the night complete.

Great place to meet early with friends for a Bible study. Veronica takes excellent care of us. She keeps my sweet tea flowing amidst a sea of coffee. How she so expertly handles such a big stack of dirty dishes I'll never know. We look forward to seeing Veronica every week. On the rare times she is not there she always calls a coworker and asks them to take great care of us. Thank you, Veronica, for excellent customer service.

Great location and service. It's the usual IHOP but the employees here were cheerful and treated the customers with respect. The service time was average but the only complain were the hash browns, they were cold - probably pre made a while ago. Rest all tasted amazing. I'll highly recommend the Tres le ches pancake and the Colorado omelette. There is usually a wait because it is in a crowded area beside the highway - probably a lot of road trippers and town folks. Parking is adequate but might run out so you can park nearby and walk. The coffee was fresh, the seating was great and the overall store was clean and we'll maintained. The restrooms were a little old and definitely need some love.

I just wanted to say that Debra our waitress was not only good but the best I’ve ever had at any restaurant or just anything she brought everything we needed without even asking almost like she knew. she is by far the best Ive seen anywhere and seriously I mean that I’ve eaten all over San Antonio and Austin area.. and she makes damn good coffee

About time that IHOP update their menu to include Gluten Friendly choices. I tried the gluten free pancakes and they were legit! My mom got a burger with a gluten free bun which I had a bite of and it was great! They also have gluten friendly and waffles. Why gluten friendly instead of gluten free? Because they can’t guarantee they are not cross contaminated with flour. I can live with that... good job!

Always😊 happy 😊when we go to IHOP! Everyone is super friendly at this location! The manager, Julie , always greets us with a smile. The cooks, Marcus & Rick, are amazing chefs! Our waiter was a young man named Gavin & he was quick to bring our coffee & was very attentive to us even tho he had several tables of customers! We are looking forward to our next visicooksIHOP!

5 STARS FOR THE MANAGER! Either our waiter or the kitchen messed up our order and it ended up being wrong and somewhat cold after waiting 35+ minutes for it (longer than others around us). We asked for the incorrect/cold parts to be remade. The manager had all of our food made again and gave us our meal for free. He was so kind!

Unlike other ihop outlets, the staff here are quick and gentle. Attended every customer with full attention. The food is good and the wait time is almost zero min .

My BFF is a DJ and so on Fridays and Saturdays after he finishes work, our tradition is to come here and eat. Usually the same lady helps us and she's very nice. When you go at 1am it's a different atmosphere, but I like it. I will keep coming back here every weekend when I'm in town.

We stopped by our local IHOP on Christmas day and they were wonderful. Kudos to the staff for working on Christmas and tolerating rude customers. They sat us very quickly and food came out fast. The staff had warned us it would be a minute as they were very busy. We understood but gald they were open and super friendly on this day. Absolutely recommend!

Was able to get in when there was only one other table of customers. After a really bad few days of personal tragedies, my mom and I were able to slow things down in a calm atmosphere and enjoy our meal. Customer Service was excellent and the servers kindness was exactly what we needed during this difficult time for my family. I know it was just lunch however, being able to have a quiet, calm and kind experience helped both of us collect our thoughts. Somedays it's the nonchalant kindness of others that brings hope.

I teared up when corporate stopped their meeting to go sing a guest happy birthday. The atmosphere and energy of the workers is beyond welcoming and enjoyable. The busser, took his time to ensure every table was fully clean and literally got on his hands and knees to show how dedicated he is. Talking with every guest, who knew him by name, greeting and blessing everyone with his lovely smile. I’m from out of time but I will make sure I come out of my way to visit this location again. I've been to this IHOP four times in the last two months for breakfast. Will was our waiter and has become our standard for great service. Our order was done to perfection. We had scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast and coffee. The entire meal and service was very good. We will be back after their renovations.

The over night shifts have consistently been on their A-game! The food comes out fresh, delicious, and in a timely manner. The staff is generous with hospitality! Silverware spotless, tables clean, bathrooms decent. I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling, getting off work, or just has the latenight munchies!

Food is pretty standard. Love the vegetarian options. Staff is friendly but sometimes you hear them yelling at each other in the kitchen.

I like eating here because there are a variety of choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The coffee is really good. My only problem is the service. It's not horrible, but it could use some revamping to better serve the customers. My idea of a good waitress/waiter is someone who anticipates what their customer needs (ex. Soda or coffee refills). At the very least, they stop by occasionally to check on them. Thank you to all the waiter/waitresses. You have a hard job that deserves a really decent pay. I am an excellent tipper for very exceptional service. If I have to hunt down my waiter/waitress, I still tip, but not as much.

This is by far the best IHOP I’ve ever been to. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff was AMAZING!!! So sweet and kind!!! Big tip well deserved

The food: perfect, the waitress, perfect. We were seated right away. We had our baby with us ; she took his order first and brought his food early. She knew we would have a long wait for our food because the house was packed. As I said, we (the adults )had to wait for our food for a long time, but it was worth the wait -steak tips, steak and French toast , scrambled eggs all was delicious The baby ate almost every bit of his happy face, pancake plate too so if that says anything. Pleased with the remodel. Yay Its IHOP 💗

Service - The wait staff was very friendly and it was quick and easy to get a seat. BUT the wait for the food was immense. They need to do something about their operations- I would have deducted 1/4 to 1/2 a star, if that were possible, for the wait. Food - the food was very good. Tasty and well prepared. Loved the pumpkin spice pancakes. The restaurant was clean, but still a little run down. Overall, good place for the food, if you don’t mind waiting a long time.

Went in to treat our son for his birthday, Antrie was our server. She was amazing! She surprised him with an ice cream treat & staff singing him Happy Birthday! Wait was not long, all of our orders was correct. Food was all so good.

I like the renovations. It was needed. The food and service were good. Our server was friendly and attentive. I found a coupon on the back of our HEB receipt and it worked out great. Stopped in on a dreary Saturday morning, promptly seated in the back of the restaurant. Our waiter was wonderful, drinks stayed refilled, food came out promptly and was hot! If we are ever in NB again and needing pancakes, we will be back.

We stopped at this IHOP on the way back from San Antonio. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. There was a strange altercation in the kitchen when we first got seated, but one of the waiters talked over it and welcomed everyone to make it less awkward. It was still a little unexpected, but as my husband commented, "the chef may be mad, but he sure can cook!" I think the manager could have handled the yelling match a little better, but over all, the food was good.

The place was clean, and the food was good, except for my wife's Avocado Benedict. It was severed cold, and they put vinegar in the water for cooking the eggs. Our server was great, as was the hostess. The issues that I do have were that one of the waitresses (a larger tattooed covered woman) was cursing quit loudly when she went into the prep area. The cooks were also loudly foul-mouthed. The last issue is that one of the waiters (a scruffy guy with a man bun) was vapping his black and green vape in the prep aera and blowing it out through his fingers. I really don't get these lassy people who don't understand that vapping is smoking, not to be done in a "no smoking" building.

Food for family was good. Gluten Free pancakes are great for those with my same issues. Service was slow, but it was Saturday am and busy. The interior of the restaurant is less than appealing. Very Dated, stained ceiling tile, mold on AC Vents, dirt on floors... especially during these Covid times, I would recommend that IHOP corporately clean up your restaurants to provide a clean environment for your patrons and staff. IHOP could be so much better of a family experience with clean fresh look.

We were seated in a timely manner. The service was pretty bad. My coffee cup was stained as usual, so I had to get a paper cup, when we did get our food, the server forgot to bring my husband the sugar free syrup ( thanks to another server for bringing it) and my bacon was so crispy that should have been trashed instead of served to anyone!

Note to chef: please reduce the temperature on your grill by about 40°. The hash brown bricks are nicely toasted on the outside but raw inside. my over medium eggs had that lacy ring that indicates the grill was too hot.

CONFIRM EVERYTHING IS IN YOUR BAG BEFORE LEAVING I ordered a To-Go order for 3 breakfast meals. I picked up the order and when given the bag went to check for condiments and asked, while doing so, if syrup was in the bag. I was then told "Everything you need is in the bag." I proceeded to leave and en route to my destination checked to see how my happy face pancakes were holding up. Yet there was no happy face. I proceeded, then, to check for the syrup. NO SYRUP! I called the establishment regarding this and was told that my "Dasher" was told there was no syrup. I then informed this person, who I knew was the guy who did tell me there was condiments, that it was indeed ME who had picked up my order. I then was told this elaborate story regarding shipment, which, even if it were true, could have been told to me beforehand honestly since it isn't their fault. Either way, I have 3 orders of pancakes with no syrup and a LIE that makes me not want to go back here.

I received a $50 gift certificate to IHOP and decided to take my two grandchildren out to dinner thinking one of them would be able to eat free with the purchase of an adult meal and still leave a nice tip. Apparently without notice ( that I could find anywhere online) to the public they decided they weren't going offer that option anymore. The food was great. The wait wait staff was nice but seemed confused and unorganized. I had to remind my server of a senior discount. And he had no clue what I was talking about when I asked for warm syrup. It was a little bit like the Three stooges bumping into each other. What made it worse is the people at table next to us we're loud and constantly dropping the f-bomb. (Which didn't seem to bother the wait staff any). Since my ticket for one tiny little girl a boy and myself being a senior was $46 It didn't leave much for the server. For which I apologize to him.

As a visitor from Houston, I don't know why I came to IHOP. I've never really enjoyed their food. My eggs were room temperature. My avocado was brown. Bacon was cold. Hash browns were hard and cold. My grandson barely touched his food. He said his chicken strips tasted like fish. And they did and they also didn't taste fresh if they tasted frozen. Paid 50 bucks for a meal. I will never visit another IHOP again.

10/12/25 at 1:00 for the breakfast special I did not get the waitress name but while ordering she rolled her eyes at my husband and gave me an evil look staring at me we did nothing wrong then on one order we ordered med eggs they came out runny when we left everyone else was friendly

We came for breakfast food on a Sunday evening and it seemed there was no manager on duty. There was no host/hostess when we came in and we waited several minutes until finally a gentleman bussing tables—the only person who even appeared to have noticed we’d entered—came and picked up menus and silverware to seat us. A waitress immediately stepped up and took over. She was courteous, seated us, and took drink orders. Then she disappeared. I finally had to get up and ask for our order to be taken (and the coffee I ordered to be served), Another patron had to do the same before me. Once we ordered, the food was delivered in a timely manner and prepared fine. There were only five tables in the restaurant with patrons and at least three, possibly four servers, working. Absolutely no reason the customer service shouldn’t have been stellar for every guest. Our server was courteous and didn’t seem to be trying to be lazy. But I believe she could benefit from more training or better supervision. Management here has some work to do.

Got there at 11, seated 11:15 to 11:20 but food didn’t come out til 11:55! It took us longer for food to be cooked vs eaten as we left at 12:20 Issue was kitchen simply not cooking fast enough. Server seemed great but the wait was unacceptable. Leave 1.5 hours for a meal to be safe on a Sunday!

Chicken was over cooked, not quite burnt but close. BBQ sauce was good service horrible. Server said they were short handed. Not my problem it's IHOPs. Our food set under the heating thing for 10 minutes at least. We were her for too long.

Have to say the server was amazing and despite the long wait was on point. Food wasn't bad but toast was like crouton slices. And the vent we sat under hasn't been cleaned in I'd say oh since it was established. Come on management and owners....hvac systems need love as well. If your build is this unkept I'd hate to see the kitchen....Gordon Ramsey would pitch a fit! Word to the management increase the wages of your employees. They are really the only reason people come back.

We visited today and were very disappointed in the atmosphere and service. The waitress took our drink order and got upset because we ordered a water and coffee and did not get anything for our granddaughter. She threw down our menus on table and walked away. We she brought our drinks, she did not ask if we were ready to order, just walked away. I looked at my coffee cup and it was not clean. I asked for a new cup and she just stood around and did not bring one. We were not offered a highchair. We left without being able to order.

We froze the evening we ate there. The thermostat (located over my shoulder in the dining room) was set at 66 degrees. The food was good, the server was nice, but we will drive to the (warmer) location in Spring Branch from now on.

We went to this location for the 2nd time and I was very disappointed. First if all: 1. Ceiling tiles are so old and moldy they seriously need to update this location. 2. We had already waited a while and we were starving, so we bit the bullet and ate here. 3. Our server was amazing, which made everything else seem irrelevant. 4. As you can see by the picture, my son has special needs so he orders the same salad every time and he usually eats every last piece. Not this time! He ate all the toppings and chicken but left the entire salad. It looked so old he wouldn’t eat it. For him this is rare because he eats everything. 5. While waiting for our meals there was one waitress that was serving a coke to her table and dropped coke on the floor. She never bothered to clean it up and another waitress slipped on it but literally held on to the wall to keep herself from falling. One of her tables a customer told her she needed to clean up the spilled coke. 6. The same waitress while waiting for food to be taken out to her table, began throwing some type of food into someone’s mouth like a game. She also had a mouth full of food while she cleaned up the spilled coke. 7. Overall, I don’t think we’ll be back until things change at this location.

Really slow. The waitress was nice but had absolutely no idea what she was doing. Im not sure she was trained at all or anything!! I never leave reviews but this was awful. We have been here for like an hour and still waiting for food. Its not even busy.

Quite literally the worst IHOP I’ve ever been too. Food took over an hour to come out and our server was not communicative about our food until we asked. We were about to leave because of how upset and hungry we were. Our appetizer didn’t come out early, it came out with our meals and it was cold. Our server also had an AirPod in while serving us and appeared to be on a phone call while serving us. It was very disappointing and we will not be retuning to this location.

I would write a review about food but unfortunately after a 45 minute wait, my family never got to place an order. The atmosphere is beyond disgusting. The whole front door is missing with the cook smoking right out front. Tables and floors covered in flith. The one and only server they had took our drink order twice which took him 30 minutes to fulfill. After we were the only customer in the whole establishment and still not getting our order taken my family left. Worst dining experience I have had. Don’t wait your time. Make the drive to San Marcos if you want service.

Didn't get to taste the food because the crew and the manager did not even get to sit us down. The managers name was Marisa because he kept calling her and then he was very rude and didn't even serve us. When we were walking out both were outside smoking. He even wanted to confront me as a woman and a customer that i am. I was talking to my friends while he went to the office looking for Marisa and came back out saying "what what did you say, que dijiste" like wanting us to know he spoke Spanish because he heard us having a conversation in spanish.

Every time I come here, I end up regretting it. I give it a couple months and try again and it’s always the same. Today there was only 4 tables when I arrived. Plenty of wait staff for a change. We gave our order for food then watched as 1 hr comes and goes and two tables that arrived after us with the same amount of people have ordered and received their food and we’re still waiting. Not being checked on by the waitress and not being given any update. So I decide to pay for our drinks and leave and then the waitress has the courage to ask, “is there a problem”. Your food will be ready as soon as it can. They’re working on it. It’s just not worth our time. I walk into another business 5 mins up the road, much busier, and we have our food 20 mins later.

Went in tonight for dinner, family of four. They are CLEARLY understaffed. Have one kid running around trying to do it all. After an HOUR we watched them bring food to the table next to us that arrived WAY after we got there. Then the lady said she only wanted one piece of French toast and the server LITERALLY used his bare hand to remove the piece of French toast off her plate! 😳😬 Then the server (NOT the Manager) came to tell us that they lost our order (mind you, there were only five families in the entire restaurant) while the manager WATCHED from the kitchen! Terrible leadership example! Needless to say, we left! They need to fire the manager and start over! I’m sure they will be the next NB restaurant to close because they are as bad as Denny’s was! Do better…or go broke!

Walk in and place is so very dirty, especially floors at 9 am. Guy cleaning off tables carries a rag to wipe tables, no spray down, just same rag used over and over. Rinsed from water I think that had dirty dishes, gray container he carried around. At one point laid rag in container with dirty dishes and also carried in his pocket. Took forever to get food for two people and it was cold. Two guys cleaning stood by our table and complained about the people working at the iHop. Ceiling tiles had stains. Will not be back.

So I was there around 9:00 pm - 10:00 pm and the waitress was extremely rude to people who were picking up postmates, uber eats, DoorDash, grubhub or whatever delivery service they were using. When one person had walked in she looked over and mumble and I quote “these damn door dashers need to find a real job.” And continue saying “have a seat in putting it together right now.” When she had said that I was in shock. And when the waitress had brought out the food she announced the persons name on the order and had said “I have the order right here go ahead and confirm it and don’t try to cancel it and take it for yourself.” Which left me disgusted to see another person being treated this way. That’s why the service is one star if I could make it negative I would.

Ok that was the worst food. Food was so bad my husband refused to eat it. Avocado was brown on the toast. The restaurant was so dirty, bathroom was gross my shoes where sticking to the floor. It took 40 min to get the food. We don't recommend this location at all.

First, no one was available to greet us even though it says, “Please wait to be seated.” Second, we waited 10-15 minutes before knowing if we would or would not be able to eat. Third, in our wait I noticed a candidate’s employment application sitting out in the open on the desk near the cash register (see photo). Fourth, our waiter never introduced himself and is hard of hearing but does not wear any assistive devices. Fifth, the waiter brought waters to our table but managed to NOT see the empty sweet glasses on the table. Sixth, when my dinner/breakfast companion pointed out the want for sweet tea versus water the waiter appeared to be perturbed at the request (MORE TEA PLEASE). Lastly, any attempt to gain the attention and help of ANYONE else in this establishment was met with actions of “I see you, but “Not my circus. Not my monkeys.” What have I learned with this visit to this IHOP!? Never, and I do mean never, come to this location ever again. I do not care if I am as hungry as a person. Who has not eaten in weeks! The service here at 0130 is beyond horrible!

I was highly disappointed! This is the worst service I’ve ever received. I waited so long for my food and when it came it wasn’t even hot so I’m confused on what the delay was. Everything is slow and the food doesn’t taste good either. Basically the food is tasteless! Just take a look at the sauce on the sandwich. I also felt disrespected because others that came way after us, got their food first.

Saturday, 5:30 pm, go in and do body in reception, 3 minutes later someone comes out and ask if I want a table! Yes! I I’m, it was a few empty tables, so he told me that I can’t be attended bc they don’t have enough person working, literally they kick me out No👎

Order online and my food was not ready and apparently had not even been received. They pretty much didn't care if we had to wait another 30 minutes.

This place was terrible. I have eaten at other ihops and had a great experience but to sit there for 50 minutes and wait at the table after ordering for a simple omelet and pancakes while having other people who got there after us get there food is crazy. We then had the waitress not tell us that the cheesecake ingredients in the pancakes was out of stock so when we received our pancakes and didn’t taste it them we were disappointed to which she said we could wait another half hour to remake them. She then refused to give us our money back when we wanted simple pancakes instead. We then were rushed to finish our food so they could seat other people and the whole experience was terrible. Will not be going to this location again

Very disappointed in this visit. Apparently this is the only IHOP around that does not do the kids eat free promo. This was the reason we came…. Then to find they charge $3.09 for maybe a half cup of milk is ridiculous. There was 1 person working the tables service was extremely slow and food was mid at best.

We went there last night about 8pm it took an hour and half to get our food and it wasn't packed at all every one was still waiting on their order ..and it was cold no heat.the server wasn't professional at all.yall need to get y'all's shit together.hire more people who want to work.service sucks and the food wasn't all that.

Horrible!! We waited for an hour to get our food and people who came in a half hour after us got their food before we did. We were told an extra chef just showed up and they were "working on your food now". When we got our food, it was mostly cold. The eggs had been sitting there so long it got a dark skin on it. My waffle was so cold the butter didn't melt and they didn't appear to have completely fill the waffle maker so it had holes in it. At least the French toast was hot when we got it. We tried to be gracious but our food was the worse I've ever had at an IHOP. Our server, Korbin, needs to quit and go work at a finer establishment because he was great but the kid he was orienting never smiled and barely spoke. When he brought our check I said thank you and he didn't reply. We will NOT be coming back and we do not recommend this place at all!

Went there at 4:15 this morning....not a customer in the building and I was asked to wait for seating. Then she continued sitting in a booth talking to someone. After two minutes standing there like an idiot....I left. Just absolutely amazing. You're at work and a customer comes in....tell the person you're talking to "just a minute ". Ridiculous.

We went there for breakfast. Once seated we waited 15 minutes to be waited on. I had to go to the hostest stand and ask for service. After we ordered we waited 45 minutes without being served. We walked out!!!

Horrible service. Place super dirty. Ordered so much food, everything late. Stuff rude. And place smells like the garbage. I would understand if the place is busy, but it’s not🤦🏻‍♂️ it’s my last trip to this place

Waited for more than 10 minutes to be seated, this place was not busy at all at 9pm. When I finally was being seated, I told the waiter that their service has started off horrible and the waiter Christian responded, then what are you doing here. Christian was very rude and cocky, and should not work at an establishment where he has to serve guest. I asked to speak to the Manager at the time, I believe Chad was his name and he was appolginic but what else can he say but felt he was not sincere at all. Will never return to this Ihop. Upper management needs to address this manner with Christian.

My wife and our 2-year-old went to your restaurant around 5 PM today Nov. 24, 2025. While I was on my way there, my wife called me to say that the manager told them to leave because our toddler was having a meltdown. He was only crying—he wasn’t throwing anything or causing any harm. There were only two elderly customers in the restaurant, and they even told the manager that it was okay because “he’s just a baby,” yet the manager still insisted that my wife and our child step outside. We completely understand being considerate of other guests, but the way the manager handled the situation was rude, disrespectful, and unnecessary. Instead of offering help, patience, or speaking kindly, she made my wife feel as if she couldn’t handle our child. Is this really how you treat customers, especially parents who are doing their best? This experience was extremely disappointing, and I hope management takes this seriously and addresses how situations like this are handled in the future.

Wait to be seated was around 20min on a Sunday morning, typical nothing crazy. However we did wait over 35+ min for our food after we ordered. My brother in laws plate arrived first, and then nothing else. 5-7min later three other plates arrived and one of those plates was cold. We told our table to simply start eating and not wait for the rest of us to get our food for them to eat. When the final three plates finally arrived the food was cold to the touch. When we notified our hostess about the issue, their solution was that they could reheat it in the microwave. The server was very apologetic, and genuinely felt very bad about the whole thing. Seeing that was the best they could do, we sent it back and asked for the check to pay for the two plates of food that were eaten and the drinks we ordered. Rather than re order and wait any more additional time. Overall this whole situation lasted a little over one hour. My in laws love IHOP, however this is one location we will NOT be returning too.

The kids in the back that were cooking the meal were getting people’s orders wrong. Service was bad. The kid came around once and then again to give me my bill. Avocado was old and my kids food was cold. Never was asked for a refill.

Terrible experience at this particular ihop and won’t ever be coming back again, we were the only table in there at night yet when we ordered our food not only did it take what felt like hours to come out and but it also wasn’t cooked correctly. I ordered pancakes and had to ask them to bring syrup several times before actually getting it. We were there for a long time and it was not a good experience at all.

I’m very disappointed with my recent order from IHOP. When I opened my food, I found a hair in the dish (I have a picture to prove it). The meal was completely untouched—I didn’t eat any of it because of the contamination. And they didn't even cut it like they usually do. I tried reaching out to the IHOP location I ordered from, but they have not responded. This is unacceptable, especially when it comes to food safety and hygiene. I hope this issue is taken seriously and addressed properly.
