Just enjoyed a 6oz Filet Mignon Medium Rare and it was cooked PERFECTLY!! Topped with sautéed mushrooms and a small side Caesar salad STUFFED me for lunch and even got a side of Bread and delicious butter!! I would highly recommend Montana Mike's for lunch or dinner 7 DAYS A WEEK!!

Quality of Food is always Great every time I've been. Service has always been attentive by my experiences and The Price is definitely worth the portion size. If you want to save alittle $ and still have a blast I'd reccomend coming by during the lunch specials! The pricing is very competitive and affordable

I can say, I absolutely loved this place, it not only is great with food but it's amazing with it's customer service, I mean the managers personally comes to assist you. It's already a family orientated atmosphere, so that's the bonus. Yal it's also a great place for Vegan friendly cliental, me being one, I can say I absolutely love the mushroom and zucchini basket. Let's not talk about drinks cause when we say, that we gotta mention how diverse they are, and they never made a lemon drop shot/ Martini, Mark the manager, trained my server at the time Mason, personally for me, and I can say that was the topper. So, definitely if you are looking for a amazing steakhouse with a family Oriented environment but with a splash of party? Come on in to Montana Mike's. We appreciate your service 🙂.

I came in for dinner and was immediately seated. Shawn was my waitress and she was fantastic. I never once had to ask for a refill or if I needed anything. She was very accommodating and took great care of me. Definitely one of the better servers I’ve had in a long, long time. She brought out a roll when I came in, and I ordered an appetizer of fried zucchini. The roll came with regular butter and cinnamon butter. The cinnamon butter was much better than roadhouse In my opinion. The fried zucchini was a much larger portion than I thought it would be, and it was delicious. The seasoning was great and I really didn’t even use the ranch at all because it had so much flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the grilled chicken breast with fully loaded baked potato and side Caesar salad. The salad had a bit too much dressing for me, but some people will like that. The potato was cooked perfectly and was extremely fluffy. The grilled chicken breast was a little overcooked and dry but it had a great flavor. If I lived closer, I would frequent this place for sure. Give them a shot when you’re in town.

Good service food and price. A real good mom and pop steakhouse that really cares if you are happy. I got the 16oz prime rib medium with steamed broccoli and baked potato. The prime rib was sift, velvety and melted in my mouth!! Yea if you have not tried it you should!! The food and service are AMAZING! My center cut sirloin was seasoned and cooked to perfection! I enjoyed the lunch special and my meal, to include a drink was under $20. The baked potato was HUGE, and the buttermilk ranch dressing tasted homemade! The servers were friendly and checked on us frequently. Our drinks were refilled promptly! Great place! Went on a Sunday after church and there wasn't a wait. Plenty of tables available. Service was very good and I had a melt in your mouth ribeye! Literally one of the best steaks in forever. My only complaint is every single side we had was bland. The okra, Mac n cheese, green beans. Everything needed seasoning. Even the Cesar salad was bland. But...I'd return just for the steak! It wasn't a great experience, when we arrived, we were immediately seated. After 12 minutes Brayden served us and he was top notch. I ordered the fried mushrooms and zucchini for starters which came to our table cool and soggy. I ordered the Mile High Ribeye 14 oz and my wife ordered the Glazed Salmon. Both dishes were lukewarm and the Salmon was very overcooked. My Ribeye was not very tender despite being cooked medium rare. My mashed potatoes were good, but my steamed broccoli was salty. Truly not worth the $76.93 w/tip. Again, I don't think Brayden had any control over food quality. He was very friendly and courteous.

On my visit, my experience felt mixed: The burger was noticeably bland and lacked the flavor I expect from a steakhouse. The fried mushrooms stood out as the highlight—crispy and well done. It comes with zucchini, which came as part of a combination appetizer, It was disappointingly soggy and paired with a generic packaged dip. In hindsight, I should have ordered just the mushrooms. Service was courteous and friendly, which made the meal more pleasant Prices seemed reasonable for the area. Given the meal’s underwhelming quality—with the exception of the fried mushrooms—and the abundance of better dining options in New Braunfels, I don’t plan to return. For travelers seeking a true taste of local hospitality and cuisine, there are other restaurants nearby that offer a stronger overall experience.

Everything was good until I started eating my salad and noticed a gnat crawling on my lettuce. Then took notice to them in my glass of beer and flying around the bar. They need to get a professional cleaning service to come in before someone gets really sick

This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The issues started immediately: my food arrived severely overcooked, to the point where it was barely enjoyable. On top of that, my glass had visible crusty residue on it, which is already unacceptable for any restaurant. But the final straw was discovering actual flies in my cup. At that point, any confidence I had in the cleanliness or quality of the place was gone. To be fair, the bartenders were the only bright spot of the entire visit—they were friendly, attentive, and clearly doing their best. Unfortunately, the kitchen was the complete opposite. The food quality was terrible, and it’s obvious there’s a serious lack of care or oversight back there. What made the whole situation even more frustrating was the manager, who spent most of the time aimlessly wandering around without addressing any of the very obvious problems happening in the dining area. There was no sense of leadership, no attention to detail, and certainly no urgency to fix anything. Between the poor food, the sanitation issues, and the lack of management, this place completely missed the mark. We won’t be returning.
