I ate in my car with a view of a park. Really haven't had Mickey D'S in years..but it was worth the calories today!

This is the Best McDonald's in Rockland! Courtesy, fast, and the food is fresh! You never hear them say, there's no ice cream on the hottest days or keep you waiting in the drive through for 45 mins.

They offer free hugs on Wednesdays. That's nice, you don't even need to buy anything. Ask for Sam.

I stopped in to get my elderly father a vanilla milkshake that he loves. I am not even a customer of McDonald's but I went to the website and they list all ingredients and many of their items, including the shake, are all natural. When I mentioned the shake was for my father at a local Nursing Home the nice man behind the counter GAVE ME THE MILKSHAKE FOR FREE! How nice and thoughtful is that! Now, I will find a reason to become a McDonald's customer especially the New City, NY branch. Thank you for being such caring people and for having some natural choices.

Crew is friendly and fast. Management encourage to assure the satisfaction on each customer and the best part is during cold season they have Kid's night on tuesday between 5-7pm during which Happy meals are 50%

Employees are usually very good and polite, wish they had an updated drive thru so the line could move faster

Usual Mickey D's affair with a bunch of untrained and non caring staff. Clean dining area and a small play area for kids gives it one additional 🌟.

The service at New City's Restaurant was incredible good, however, they need to do better. I like the service very much as well the food. I recommend McDonald's in New City, New York.

Average review is 3.6, I would say that's about right. 1 extra star for convenient location, but who can rate a half-rate burger above 3?!

Good place to go for a quick bite. The drive-thru can be a wait during peak times so order from the app and get it delivered to your car when you get there.

Food was fine but waited over 10 minutes for an order I placed through the app and I was at the curbside pickup area; the person even started walking towards the wrong spot number.

The food is always fresh. I live closer to Haverstraw and still take the drive down here because I’ve never had a batch of soggy cold fries and everything is always correct. My only gripe is the drive thru. Very awkward, they should really renovate. Honestly as long as the quality never changes I won’t stop going.

It's one of the best McDonald's in the area. Never had an issue with cold or lukewarm fries like Haverstraw. Service has gotten better in the drive thru with staff being more engaging with customers, greeting and saying have have a nice day when leaving. I recommend it.

I only come to this location when I’m extremely close by. I usually do lunch time orders via mobile order. They’re usually prompt. Dinner is rough. Been recently going, and they seem very swamped. Got a notification recently that my order was ready at the counter , but the app just did an auto “it’s ready” message. I went in and almost grabbed someone else’ order Ended up waiting 10-15 min for mine. They seem to be swamped with drive thru and curbside pickups. Definitely could use more staff. Food is good though and my orders have always been accurate. Just be aware of potential delays if going at dinner.

This McDonald’s is kind of delightfully dated and hasn’t been updated or renovated in probably 20+ years, so if you’re looking for an “old” McDonald’s that feels more like a step back into the 1990s, this is close to it. Not completely vintage inside or out but definitely a contrast to most modernized McDonald’s you’ll find. This one has the old kid’s play pen area although it’s been closed since the pandemic. Booths and tables looked original and aren’t especially comfortable, but that’s part of the charm 😉

Same story as always with this location for some reason.. time.. no matter when you go, it's always a bad time, and you're always gonna spend time there, waiting... But, other than that, s'ok

The food is standard McDonalds fare. The employees seem uninterested and not to care about doing their jobs. The lighting is dark and the place is usually not very clean.

They should tell you Before you pay that you will have to park and wait for your order especially if u r on a lunch break. Otherwise nice team.

Its an older McDonald's, but I have never gotten bad food. Since it's in a good location it can get busy with LONG wait times depending on when you go. When they are not busy you can get out, of there quick. The people in there are nice in there which make things nice.

I placed an order on the app and received a message suggesting I do curbside, so I did. I checked in at 7:12 and didn't get the food until 7:33. I tried calling three times, but you can't get a human or even leave a message. I didn't want to get into the long drive-thru line and run into a situation where my food is brought out and they say I'm not there, so I brought my crying one- and two-year-olds inside because I was afraid there was a mix-up with the order. The staff is clearly overworked, so I feel bad for them (I chose takeout after a particularly rough work day!), so I really hope they can hire more staff sooner than later. By the time I got the food it was lukewarm, but the young man was apologetic for the wait. Unfortunately, I don't plan on ordering from this location any time soon, I'm sorry.

When I order a dbl cheeseburger, onions only, I expect to get cheese on my cheeseburger. Went back in to get correct order and the manager just kept making excuses about why they got the order wrong. If I didn't want cheese I would have ordered a hamburger! I did get the corrected order but could do without the lame excuses!

The workers here are the most rude people I have encountered. On top of that, they don't know their own menu. I am very disappointed and will not come to this location again.

Very dirty and museum. They put up safety cones around the garbage in the floor rather than clean it up. No change at register, only nickels.

I am being nice by giving this McDonald's location a 2 every time I come to this location in the morning I run into this male manager who is the rudest an absolute worst worker I've ever come across there especially if it's early in the morning he doesn't want to be bothered I asked for coffee one morning Ono the coffee machines broke I asked for a frappe forget that they complain that the machine is too much to clean how can you say that to a customer who is willing to pay for the product okay so then I'll ask for another coffee and they'll be a problem with that and forget about the milkshake machines or McFlurries there's always a problem and then when I get my food it's ice cold as if it's been sitting out since the last year which is very frustrating specially once you get home and it's too far to go back and exchange of food it really should get rid of that manager because he is useless they have some really nice workers there who are hard workers and are nice to the customers but he is not one morning I went there before work they open at 6 a.m. it was 6:45 and he said they had no food yet that I would have to wait or come back in an hour why bother opening at 6 when the manager can get there in time to make the food I hate to sound like this it's just so frustrating that every time I go there this happens anyway if you ever see a male manager at 6 a.m. don't bother drive off the line or walk out LOL

I went through the drive-through and ordered chicken nuggets and honey mustard sauce. They forgot the sauce. I was too far away to go back so I just ate the nuggets without any sauce. I also ordered a Sweet Tea. It was too sweet to drink. Disappointed.

Order was wrong. One cashier, and line was backed up due to credit card problem. No one else came to assist. My order was no onions and they put onions, problem was fixed after I took a bite. Restaurant was dirty

This place will serve you on modern, supercharger, turbo and on the app. I don't use the app. Give a try when I can't walk. The food it ok, I feel like they don't want you to stay and sit and enjoy some food. Ok they do have chairs. If you just stay for 5 10 minutes your good. Not the same at this place. It funny, when I order a small fries I get long ones, order a large and I get a lot of smaller fries. If you driving and on the go it's ok.

Placed an order today around 8:20, I ordered a 4 piece with buffalo and sweet and sour but no sauces were included. I asked for a large sprite and they gave me a small I didn’t even realize when they gave it to me. My fries were also extremely cold and old tasting. I usually love coming to this McDonald’s, it’s right next to my job and usually really good with service but this time it just wasn’t the best experience

The window never gets the order right. You have b e to repeat yourself at least 5 times. This takeout window was the best when Brian was working there.

Food gotten smaller, frappes gotten less used whip cream as a filler and XS sprite had multiple holes in it.

Apparently they stop serving breakfast before 11am on sundays smh.

I know McDonalds isn't supposed to be upscale or anything, but the smell in the back there is horrible, like city subway or homeless person, and though I prefer Mc fries over BK we can't eat in there anymore.

they gave my boyfriend the wrong order. the burger that he did not even order was soggy and cold. he tried eating it because he was so hungry but couldn’t scarf it down. I took him to the mcdonald’s in Nanuet which isn’t the best but at least they get your order right and the job done. the service is always slow at mcdonald’s in new city and the place is not clean.

TERRIBLE. waited for 10 minutes behind one car that was talking to the mcdonalds employee. The passenger of the car got out and came over talked to the employee and exchanged some hugs. After 10 minutes I laid on my horn and was told one minute and talking continued until a bunch of drinks and some food were finally handed out. Eventually some bills (no change) were handed to the employee and no change was given back. Odd... then when we finally got to the window she never apologized for wasting all that time and we immediately got our cold food. There wasnt any cars behind us. Worst experience I've ever had at a mcdonalds. I also had to pay an employee to wait on this line that wasnt moving at all.

Constantly screw up your orders. They take forever when there's only two people in the restaurant and three cars in the drive-thru. When you ask for something they didn't give you they act like you hid it or something. Made the mistake of going here after long day of work and got home before I realized they gave me the completely wrong order and charged me more than what they gave me was worth. Will never set foot in this McDonald's again

Worst McDonald's ever! Dirty floors and tables, poor customer service, atrocious bathroom. Girl taking my order at the register, rather than look at me, was looking off at the wall behind me. All made worse by the fact that I couldn't understand much of what she was asking because of the mask she was wearing. Employees looking at their cell phones right out in clear sight.

By far the most lazy and lying drive thru staff. It’s been 5+ times that Ive asked for FF or something else on the menu and then charged for it, but have come home with something missing. Waist of MF time!

I stopped by and this time around I was very disappointed with the service they had plenty of employees taking care of the drive up window only one person taking orders .there was a group of kids I think from a ball team I waited 15 to 20 minutes for them to take my order. When he waited on me I told him why didn't someone open another register so they could help me all I got was I'm sorry I apologize for the wait .I was very upset on the way they handled it.

Found hair in between melted cheese and the sausage patty. And that’s because coincidentally I opened up which I hardly ever do before I take a bite . I wanted to vomit…. After seeing this. That place is a disaster. Very few employees and a long wait no matter what you do. Serving a large community and understaffed = chaos. Not going back. What's with their drive thru? One star is even generous! Filthy dirty and very slow service...waited 20 mins for "fast" food, which wasn't that good. Another customer even complained about the kids meal not getting small fries anymore. Kitchen, ordering area, sitting area, bathrooms and play area were all dirty, which the bathrooms smelled like they haven't been cleaned in weeks. If an inspector came in that day, they would have been shut down!

I placed an order for pickup through UberEats. It was so backed up that the driver called to tell me she was waiting in the parking lot which wasn't a big deal. They bring out the order and she drops it off at our doorstep, does everything fine. I open the bag and exactly 0 food items are inside. None. They gave us three drinks and no food. So now how do you even get your food? The UberEats driver is on to her next delivery and not answering. So I called McDonald's but they made no sense on the phone. I ask can they even see a past "completed" order through UberEats and she says yes. But I still don't know how this driver, if we find her, is ever going to get the right order now and breakfast just ended or is about to... I ask so what does the driver do? *Do we have her do something in particular?* She goes, "Mhhmm." "..........Okay and what would that be? Does she just come inside?" "Mmhmm yeah." BTW - customers can't come inside, the doors are locked. She's so distracted the entire duration of the call she didn't hear a word I said. I don't think you are supposed to be able to pick up an UberEats order yourself, you certainly don't want to after paying a delivery fee and sizable tip, but they give it to my husband anyways when he pulls through. He gets home thinking he has the right order and it's still wrong.

Do yourself a favor and GO IN, don't do the drive thru. Cant set the bar very high at McDs but these people are redefining LAZY. They take your order and tell you to go park. Then they do the same to the next 5 cars. You wait for 20 min in the parking lot just for them to bring out everyone's food at the same time which means yours is DEFINITELY cold and sundae melted.

Was craving a quarter pounder, lady at the drive thru said they don’t have any quarter pounders and that they are closing, it was 11:30 PM on 5/24. Sounded like they didn’t want to turn on the grill, I didn’t bother arguing cause they’re the ones that are going to make the food anyway and you know how that goes. Had to drive to Nyack and gas just hit 5 dollars.

My food was thrown in the bag my cheese burger was filled with ketchup I was really upset . No one was in line and I got serviced a good 2 to 3 minutes standing so I used there computer system . It wasn't cleaned and table dirty

I’ve ordered (online) the big breakfast with STEAK at least four times and EVERY order was missing the steak! It’s bad business to advertise a popular food item on your menu and not actually deliver said item!! Not once was I made aware of a sausage substitution, I had to find out once the food was delivered!! That is horrible business!!

THE WORST McDonalds I have ever been to. Four of the last Five times I have been here they have forgotten food and got the order wrong. On Wednesday night, they forgot two items (expensive ones) and made me wait over ten minutes in a random spot to “keep the drive through time down.” I went in after ten minutes and there was a junkie in the waiting area shooting up in the bathroom, two angry door dash employees and a customer arguing over a discount code not provided to him with the app. Once I got home I attempted to eat the cold fries and thrown together big mac which was poorly made. This place is atrocious and 3/4 of the employees should be let go. What a disaster of an establishment. I will never return, Ill drive the extra ten minutes to your competition.

Came here not too long ago and was shocked by the state of this Mcdonald’s. Incredibly dirty and insanely old. The staff were so rude to customers and employees. One manager always threatens to get employees fired if they aren’t listening to her. Very disrespectful to these young kids who seem to not have worked any place else. Managers and employees have disgusting attitudes. Seems to be very little discipline in this workplace. Food was cold and some of my fries were still raw. Overall, place needs immediate remodeling and new managers/General Manager.

Made a simple one item order on the app. Confirmed it was for the New City location. Showed up to pick up my order and the short older woman at the register told me they didn’t have any order in my name and refused to take my order at the counter I assume because it was almost time to close the inside at around 10:30pm. She then went on to completely ignore me. I suggest to everyone to order elsewhere at the other McDonald’s locations in the area to avoid this horrible service.

Mangers are so unbelievably rude to their workers. I think they forget that they are also human and always make mistakes, no need tor screaming when things should be handled normally. I also think that this place is unbelievably dirty, roaches running around as well as having their workers still preform even with their roofs leaking in the kitchen. Unacceptable behavior and condition. Very sad to see their workers are treated very poorly, especially when most are children/young adults still learning.

worst mcdonald’s i’ve ever been to, first of all it was so noisy and complicated in that place. full of children and people. the worker didn’t even get my order right, i told her i wanted snack wraps THE MEAL and she understood two frappes? she would randomly switch between english and spanish which was confusing me. genuinely worst mcdonald’s, and cost me 40 dollars just for her to get my order wrong 😐

The people here have terrible customer service. They never get your order right. The drive-thru speaker is faded and can hardly see your order. The food menu in drive thru is so out the 90s. The inside is no better still trapped in the late 80s or early 90s. The need to upgrade this McDonald's to the 2024 just saying.
