I have been going there since 2015. They have amazing pastries but unfortunately I don't eat them anymore. Nonetheless you can be assured of their fine bakeries for any occasion.

On January 1st, a group of 50 people attended an early dinner. There was plenty of parking and room inside to accommodate such a large group. The service and food was very good.

The food was very good I ordered the 14 oz New York strip and the meat was very tender and cooked the way I wanted it the vegetables and baked potato we're very good as well the service was very good also. I was only visiting for the weekend but I recommend City line very much.

We eat at City Line restaurant quite frequently and it is always a great experience. The food is consistently high quality, and the service is excellent . We were just there with a group of 16 for lunch and all of us were pleased with the meal. The menu is extensive, and you can always enjoy just what you are in the mood for. Our grandsons love coming here as well. I highly recommend it.

Great restaurant with a pretty wide range of menu items ranging from sandwiches to salads, Italian and Greek dishes to Mexican. Large selection of burgers as well. Spacious indoor seating, well as outdoor tables too. The staff are very friendly and professional too.

Always a good place to grab a meal. They have a number of different dishes to select from various ethnic backgrounds. Even when the place is busy it's still quiet at the same time. Staff is friendly and orders are typically quick to the table.

I've been coming here for years and can say this is what down home dining should be all about, namely a quality meal, good conversation and a welcoming environment.

City Line is our favorite diner in the area. It has consistently delicious food, good service, and a clean restaurant area. It’s great for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or anything in between. The coffee is excellent and there are various cakes and gelato for dessert.

I am a regular to sister restaurant State Line in Tappan. Food was just as excellent but service was a little slow. Don't always get to see Manny much anymore but nice to see he is doing well. Farmer's Wrap stuffed with lots of meats and cheese. Delicious. And filling.

Food is excellent and the service was solid. The atmosphere only gets 4 stars because there are cold parts of the restaurant in the winter due to the full length windows that open up in the warmer months. I would not recommend buy soda there $3.49 with free refills. Otherwise the food was great

It was surprisingly busy on a weekday evening. The place is very lively but there are many servers available. My server checked up on my table several times throughout my meal even during the busy hours. The place is quite large with many available tables. The menu had a very extensive selection that was organized well. The place was cozy and there were not many young children there. The decor is nice to look at and isn't overwhelming. It was a little pricey for the quantity of the food but the quality made up for it. The ingredients tasted quite fresh.

We had an awesome experience at Citi Line in New City! We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wraps and the Buffalo Chicken Salad, and both were absolutely delicious. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and had just the right amount of heat. Everything tasted super fresh and was perfectly prepared. Came here for breakfast with my wife. I had Bob’s favorite wrap and my wife the California omelette. Both orders came out quick, but then again it wasn’t busy. The wrap tasted great with fresh ingredients and my wife’s omelette was great as well, especially her home fries which came out crispy as requested. George, our waiter was very attentive and was able to modify my order to meet my needs. Overall, great service, clean restaurant, and the manager Manny was also very friendly. Will definitely be coming back.

I took a chance and ordered Seafood in a Diner type restaurant, and I'm thrilled to say, I could not have been happier with my Shrimp and Scallop Scampi over Angel Hair Pasta. The seafood large, fresh and perfectly prepared. The pasta was as if it came out of an Italian grandmother's kitchen. The Scampi sauce brought it all together in a medley that would make Beethoven proud. Overall an excellent dining choice and I highly recommend it!!!

Big diner style restaurant in the center of New City NY. There were 4 large rooms with 20+ tables/booths in each. The food (huge menu including all day breakfast) was good. The service was fast and polite. The prices were quite reasonable ($11 each plus tip).

A fairly good sized diner with an extensive menu. We ordered hot and cold sandwiches which arrived quickly and were good. Prices are also reasonable. There is also a bar if you are inclined to indulge during your meal.

A lovely, traditional diner disguised as a restaurant. Seven very old friends gathered here for Sunday lunch/brunch. The post Church crowd had mostly dispersed by our 1:00 gathering, so we got a large, isolated table. The place was a time warp frrom1965, but with charm and good service. The coffee was unlimited and excellent. My burger was mediocre but the modest portion of fries was fine. My companions mostly had attractive breakfasts, though the one veggie among us reported that her salad was just ok. So if you want a welcoming place for groups and are looking for adequate food here's your place, at the geographic center of the county.

Diner with a view. Warm weather fills the exterior patio with well mannered landscaping & plants. Service is personal and attentive. Inside you'll find your choice of well lit or soft lighting. Salads are quite decent as is the generous bowl size of soup. (Lentil is particularly good.) Though busy at times, the ample seating within makes for minimum wait time, if at all. Cocktails can be had as well. Worthy of a visit.

I've eaten here several times. This place is a dinner set in a former casual restaurant (The layout reminds me of an Olive Tree, but I'm sure it was some other chain.) The food is good, like most dinners, you can't go wrong by ordering an omelet or cheese burger and fries. It's also close to the Main Street Cinema, making it perfect for pre and post movie meals.

We love this place! I no longer live near city line, but when I'm in the area I always stop here. I love the food and they are very nice! My son was acting crazy there and running around but they didn't mind.

Food is very good and comes quickly. Service is decent, but as others have said, needs improvement. Waiter class 101: "how is everything"?...."can I get you anything else, a refill?". They don't ask that, but should. Waiters rarely come back to check on you. Thus the 4 stars. But overall, best food and menu in town! Fair prices for the big portions and such variety! 👍👍

Stopped in for breakfast at this almost always busy New City restaurant after hearing glowing reviews from a handful of neighbors who eat here frequently. Plenty of parking for this spacious restaurant that is the ground floor of a busy office building. Curb cut-outs, gently sloped ramps, wide doors and an open lobby/waiting area make this an accessible facility for those patrons using even large power wheelchairs. The dining rooms were attractive, very clean and fresh smelling. On this morning, I was one of a handful of customers in what seems a vast area with multiple comfortably sized eating areas including outdoor tables. I was greeted immediately upon entering and given my choice of seating areas. The waiter approached quickly and offered a menu and coffee. The menu was a comprehensive listing of standard and Latin influenced dishes. The waiter was attentive throughout. I opted for a Mexican Skillet, a combination of 3 eggs sunny-side up over beans, chorizo, potatoes, jalapenos and avocado with toast. The richness of the egg yolk moistening the other ingredients made for a very tasty bite. My only complaint is a minor one. Obviously fresh ingredients in a very large serving size were markedly under-seasoned. A dash of salt and pepper and hot sauce I added at the table allowed the ingredients to shine. The $15.99 cost of the breakfast given the quality and size of the portions seems fair (at least in this crazy post-pandemic world).

The food is good, it used to be a little bit better but honestly a bit expensive due to inflation. They do serve alcohol, I don't know if it is any good because I am underage (of 21). They are kid friendly, been coming here since as far as I can remember. TL;DR they serve decent food and are good with parking and kids.

The Food was good. It wasn't "out of this world" but it was more than decent. It was breakfast so it's pretty hard to mess up eggs and home fries but it does happen. The Atmosphere was the best part overall. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and appealing. The Service was mediocre at best. Now I am not saying the service was bad because it wasn't really service. The server cane over, said hello, took a drink order. He rather delivered the drinks and took our order. He delivered the order. He never checked back after we took a bite or two from our respective meals (it is standard within the Hospitality industry to offer a 2 bite or 2 minutes guest check), and then we had to find him to ask for our check. Overall he did most of the steps of service although with not much enthusiasm.

Server was very friendly. We had a large group (9 people) and there was no lapse in service. Food was very good as well

Place was empty and took more then 20 mintues to get a hamburger and then wife was blamed for the slow service. Then i was charged a credit card charge on my debit card i told him there is no bank charge on debit cards was not happy.

They have definitely grown on me over the years. Had a pasta dinner recently and was very impressed. Prices on drinks are very good and the atmosphere is nice. Also, love the outdoor seating during the nice weather.

The food is fine but the waitstaff needs better training. It is not because they are new as they have been there for years. The owner needs to read these reviews and admit that the establishment needs a bit more polish when it comes to the staff. They are too informal.

The food was good it’s just very overpriced. I got two grilled chicken wraps and fries it can out to $43. That’s crazy, I’m not coming here again.

I normally get great food from here, and they have delicious blueberry pie, but last night I asked for a medium rare avacado burger and it was really over cooked. I didn't want to disrespect the cook so I just ate it but I hope next time the burger is better. Over all, not bad.

It doesn’t look like your typical diner. It is located on the first floor of what looks like a commercial building. Once inside it has the typical diner vibes. The omellete was what you would expect from a diner. Service was good and they had 500 different food options which is typical. I would come back. 3 stars.

Small portions for the price. I ordered a gam and cheese omelet and it looked like it was made with just one egg and the home fries were so small. The plate wasn't even that big so the fact the food made the plate look bigger was very sad. The waitress looked tired and was running large tables alone. They had alot of people cleaning though. Poor girl must've been exhausted. My bf got pancakes and egg with sausage. He said they weren't great they were less than average compared to other diners. It was our first time there and honestly probably won't be going back. It looked nice and all but not worth the price.

The food was excellent...the service not so much. Getting the server's attention was a task, short of waving our hands or saying "excuse me" loudly, it was rare he came to our table. The water server was better. Our food was served timely and as I said it was excellent. I would go back...give the service another try or just take the food out. The wrap I had was just that good.

My family of 5 ate there about a week ago and the food was really good to be honest. I would definitely eat there again. I would recommend the staff clean the tables better. My table was a folding circular table, and there was a thick black old food crust collecting were the table folds on the two ends.

I used to eat here a lot but I stopped when the food quality went down and there were limited wait staff. I decided to try this place again and I really want impressed. The food was OK but not great. The waiter forgot about us. It took forever to get our check to pay. I won't be going back again.

Not all Diners are equal. This Diner is sadly not very good. In fact, it’s good is bald, unimaginative and truly lacks, taste much less the desire to return. Let’s say a gyro filled with shredded lettuce, four slices of gyro meat and costs $12.99 is anything but a major disappointment. The matzah ball soup, no noodles, no vegetables and a soggy matzah ball, are you serious. I could go on, but, truthfully, this isn’t very good, and quite frankly a huge waste of time. Surely, they can do better.. on a 1-10, I give it a generous 6.

Now I know why this place is just above a 4 and not a 5 star restaurant . After I had a meal ,While I was sitting in the lobby area waiting I had an emergency with my foot. I took my shoe off . The manager proceded to tell me I had to leave the restaurant instead of asking me if I needed help or assistance . He was making gestures to other people in the restaurant of my situation and continued to harass me in the lobby exit area telling me I had to leave . Poor education this man has . Any educated person with experience with people would of first asked if they could help me , that’s what I would of done . This manager instead chose to air his authority as a boss . I wonder how he treats the employees at this location . What lack integrity this restaurant has . This manager not once did he pass my table while I was eating to ask how was the food or how my experience was . That’s what his job description should be . Not pushing a client out of the restaurant in need of help .

Ate many times here in past couple years with the girlfriend and initially everything was great. Yet lately the servings are becoming thinner and lighter; whether it’s a sandwich and fries or soup or an entree. You’re paying the same price for much less and it’s just not worth it anymore.

My boyfriend and I decided to try here for lunch. We passed it several times on our way to Blu Fig (where we should have went). Pros: The atmosphere was nice because we sat outside. Glad we did because we heard screaming children through the door. Our server was very pleasant and helpful. Cons: The food. The food however was below average. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms. They had very little crab in them and in fact it was imitation crab. They were dry, pasty, and had a lot of bread for $14.99. We had to send back the chicken fingers because there was grizzle in them. That turned us off right there. We got eggs instead and everything tasted the same like a dirty grill. We are both sick with our stomachs, 2 hours later. Sorry to say we won’t be returning. It isn’t worth getting sick over.

Was curious, walked in for a light lunch. Nice airy atmosphere. Found the waiters to be cocky. Ordered an easy Ceasar salad topped with grilled chicken. Order came in a large bowl, chicken was hot and all of the lettuce underneath became wilted. Nothing worse than wilted hot salad. When I inquired about the wilted lettuce he responded “ what are we supposed to do serve it cold. I took my 20 salad home and had to throw it away. To never return.

I ordered a vegan burger, patty is too dry and hard, fries are hard and looks like refried after they got cold just to make them look just fried. Service is good Atmosphere is good.. I ordered Spanish rice with chicken to take out. $26.00 and nothing like the photo. Very small portion and over priced. I should know better. It has always been a disappointment. I blame myself!

Poor customer service. While someone was vaping inside which is illegal my friend was suffering from an asthma attack and the owner couldn't be bothered and did nothing! Then to raise your prices by seven to ten dollars on mothers day I walked out. Not worth my time or money for such disrespect.

I seriously hate this place. I never once had a good meal here and the service is horrible. The final straw was when my son and his friends were taken advantage of because they were kids. They refused to give them separate checks and some of the kids decided to just leave without paying leaving my son and his friend with the bill. After frightening them with the threat of calling the police they finally corrected the bill that they inflated with charges for items they never ordered. This place is overpriced as well for mediocre food at best. Save your money. There are much better diners around.

Service was very slow.The diner was less then 10% of capacity.The employees were hanging around. I had to raise my voice Twice to get served. I had the matzo ball soup with rice. There was no rice in the soup.The matzo balls were very light and had no taste.They were bright white and seemed undercooked. I had the omelet.last time the omelet was 2/3 the size of the plate.This time the omelet was very small .It seems like it was a one egg omelet.The Omelet was not light and fluffy like last time.It was dry and overdone.I ordered it with Sausage.I am sending out a search party for the Sausage.There was a few pieces of Sausage in the omelet. The prices for seafood and Spanish dishes were to high.22.00 to 37.00.I was limited to getting a omelet,small sandwich or a hamburger.inflation is at an all time high.The average person can not afford these prices.

The food is good but service and waiters are with kind of attitude.Look like the old customers have a good treat but if the new customer comes ...be aware they do not care.Bad experience I had when they charged me 2 times for one time dinner. When I talked to manager or someone he started to blame my bank and he even did not try to resolve my problem. He even could not find transaction when they charged me first time...how they track it....have no idea...Watch your transaction when you dine there or better pay cash probably.

Served my boyfriend RAW chicken and the waiter caught an attitude when we wanted to leave. So gross, won’t be returning. Happy I saw it was raw before he ate it
