I literally just left Galo tavern 18 from having my daughter's wedding shower there. I cannot express my gratitude for the staff who did an amazing job with service. everyone was absolutely polite.,professional did their work without being seen or known and everything was absolutely delicious. Special shout out to Nicole one of the managers who is an amazing human being and will do anything possible to make a day very special. Also big shout out to Bruno who is also a wonderful person and very accomodating. The reason I chose this place is because one of my friends had her shower there and it was absolutely fantastic and today was no exception. I expected nothing less and that's exactly what I got. I would never hesitate to throw a beautiful party here again. And everyone that was at my party was raving about the food. And everything else, thank you so much to the staff. The managers the owner everything was impeccable for my daughter's shower .Thanks again .

This place is so wonderful! The staff, the ambiance & the warm muffins & butter!!! We went here for brunch for the holidays. Food portion was good & delicious. The huevos rancheros turned out be a little oily - but could be because we don’t usually eat oily Foods at home. I would request to tweak the dish with less oil! Otherwise it was delicious. Can’t wait to come back here again.

Attended a baby shower here and it was really nicely done. The waitress taking care of our big group was attentive, friendly and sweet. The food was delicious and cooked well. It wasn't hard to find parking either as long as you come before lunch hour starts.

This is my first time here an I can honestly say the food here is amazing. Our server was amazing and very attentive to all of our needs. The cocktails here are very strong so probably one drink with your meal will be fine. The meals in the picture are crab cakes for appetizers. For the entree it is tavern Mac & cheese with turkey bacon and fish and chips. Everything was delicious I would definitely come back. The fish is fresh the crab was amazing and the Mac was nice and creamy. It was definitely worth the trip here.

So was my first time here I was brought here by a friend we had cocktails, appetizers and dinner. The food I have to say was amazing the service not so much our waitress seemed very non-enthusiastic. If you will, I understand everybody has days, the other thing for a place that was not so busy the appetizer and the dinner came out exactly at the same time which is kind of like an unspoken no no at any dinner service nonetheless, the food was very amazing

This restaurant has tasty meal options. Ordered the plantain cups, sauce and shrimps were but would not recommend if you like soft plantains. The meal was delicious and paired well with the drink options. This place was diverse and had a crowd mingling. Staff was friendly and waitress was attentive

Food was pretty good. I had the 20oz aged cowboy steak. It was well presented and came with 2 sides for about $60. Service was also good.

AMAZING FOOD. Yes that is exactly how I want to start this review. I have never personally been to the restaurant so I can’t comment on the decor or staff but I have ordered a large amount of servings on Uber eats and for it being my first time I will say honestly everything was great. The steaks were cooked exactly as I requested which is hard to get when not being in the establishment. The following items is what I ordered. Fried calamari, 18oz New York strip, grilled hanger steak which was juicy as ever with a chimmichuri sauce, chicken fingers for the kids, jumbo lump crab cakes, sautéed Manila clams, Kobe beef sliders, lamb chops.The Kobe beef sliders is real Kobe meat you can smell the freshness when eating them and I highly I mean highly recommended the lamb chops wow. Everything I listed above was five stars. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because I have never been to the establishment to rate on staff and decor as stated above once I have I will edit back my rating. View photos

Honest review based on dinner and brunch. I’ve tried the steaks. It’s good, not great. I would never come here on a day when steaks are full price. I come when steaks are half off on Thursday. If i have to pay full price, I’d go to a better steak house. As for brunch, I’ve always wanted to try because of the awards they have shown in front of the restaurant for best brunch or 2025. Brunch was okay here. I got the sampler with egg bacon and sausages. It was good but heavily drowned in oil.

I really wanted to like Gallo Tavern 18 and make it a regular go-to spot, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. The food was okay—slightly above average—but not memorable enough to make up for the lackluster service. The staff only handled the basics: taking our order and serving the food. Beyond that, there was no effort to check on us during the meal. We had to seek them out whenever we needed something, like more drinks, condiments, or utensils. For the price, I expected much better attention and care. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it wasn’t great either. I was hoping for more, and at this point, I’m not sure I’d return.

Doesn't honor reservations. Made a 8pm reservation on valentines day for a reason, to not be stuck waiting to dine in. 40 mins later still not seated. Im pregnant and had to stand and wait, once my son started crying that he was hungry we left. Terrible and unorganized.
