Amazing food! They just forgot my plastic forks! But got them! No idea if they add them or not but I was travelling to new paltz from Brooklyn.

Asian fusion is great!! Ive ordered from here several times generally trying at least one new thing each time and Im always satisfied with the quality. The sushi is fresh and the Chinese hits the spot. I love the vegetable spring rolls, the cold sesame noodles and the hot and sour soup is easily the best Ive ever had with a variety of fresh mushrooms and firm tofu slices. The service is also always friendly and sweet. Definitely recommend to anyone in the New Paltz area.

First time visiting this restaurant in New Paltz with my family. We all had a great time. The food was absolutely excellent, the atmosphere was inviting and warm and the service was perfect. Perfect. Everybody left happy and with a lot of food.

This place is great. I'm there at least once a week with my mother. Ada is amazing and by far one of the best business owners in town and I grew up here. The food, the people, and the environment are all amazing so keep up the good work.

Asian fusions food is awesome. Very tasty, good portions. Service there is great plus a bar in the restaurant nice touch. Decor is OK. Employees are very friendly.... and pretty too. Lol. Overall a great place to eat. Would highly recommend them.

This is the best Asian food I have had in the Hudson Valley!!! We had the fried dumplings, Wonton Soup, and General Tso chicken and all were top notch! Everything tasted fresh and the flavor was great. We've eaten here and had take out and both were just as good. The online ordering is super convenient as well. This is our new go-to Asian restaurant.

Super quick. We have been trying to find a good Chinese food spot and have been unsuccessful until now. Quite literally the only place around with great Chinese food. Last time we can we have the chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce and it was amazing. The time before that we had a bento box and my wife and I were so happy with it.

Great experience. Went with a friend, both of us are locals, so we are used to the great food. However, we found out that there are no combo meals when you dine in? Super odd. It was fine, but our total for our meals came out to $50, opposed to the $20ish dollars take out combo meals we would get. (We ordered what comes in our combo meals.. so it was $30 more in house). I’m not negating any stars for that though,, because we didn’t even think to check the prices, just figured I’d mention that in the review! Overall, great food / staff. I recommend!

Outstanding Asian food was a mystery shopper for cuisine but not Asian years ago when I was moonlighting They don't mind if you make special requests to steam your particular order instead of frie it. The team order taker in the front is also very nice and gives extra everything without even having to ask especially if it is a take out order. 5 🌟 STAR ON THE CUISINE 💯 ON THE CUSTOMER SERVICE 👌.

Best food all of the time every time! Fresh and delicious. A delivery option would be great. Staff is always pleasant and helpful. You don’t want to miss this dining experience. Just don’t miss the entrance. It’s tricky. But worth it. :)

This place is great. I have yet to try their Chinese dishes, however the sushi I have ordered from here is always amazing! My boyfriend ordered a Chinese meal last time we went and he said it was very good. I also love the atmosphere of this restaurant. We come to this place every time I come up to see him - which is pretty often. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place, as it's by far the best Chinese/Japanese restaurant you will find within 20 miles of New Paltz town.

I had my birthday there. It was a very cool place to spend time with my friends. I loved the creative decor, cups, drinks, and food there. I also enjoyed the tropical and asian theme there. It is more on the pricey side, but it is definitely worth it for a very special time!

Stopped here for lunch because they had ample parking. Turned out to be a great choice. We had sushi and Chinese food and it was all excellent for a reasonable price. Service was excellent. Very happy with our experience.

Personal favorite in New Paltz. Great staff and good food. Happy hour specials are great, not that it's expensive on a regular day. And for those who aren't fans of Asian food: They have some of the best wings and mozzarella sticks in town!

We used to go here all the time when they first opened but over the years as other restaurants opened in New Paltz we started going to other places just for variety. It's been awhile but we got takeout today and I was delighted that they have remained consistent in quality, taste, price and portions. Everything was delicious and even though we have family members with dietary restrictions there is plenty for everyone to choose from.

My husband & I ate here for the first recently & found the food to be delicious. We had a second meal here & had the same experience. Only blip was that although the soup was steaming it was cold but still delicious. If you haven't tried the food here, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Place is a really nice, almost hole-in-the-wall restaurant that I hadn't heard of until recently. Each time I've gotten food here, its been phenomenal and a really good price for the portion they give you. I got the Thai coconut shrimp and a vegetable roll. I forgot to take a picture of the vegetable roll because I just ate it right up, so tasty. The staff was prompt to seat, take my order, and serve me, I barely waited 5 minutes after ordering my sushi roll for it to be brought out.

Food was good.Nice portions and it was nice inside.They have some booths and they have nice cushy chairs at the tables in the back.You can also sit outside. We fed 3 people for $40 plus tip.They also have sushi.Again our waitress was wonderful.She was the only waitress for lunch special, and we were needy,but she ran all over and got us everything we asked for quickly. First time there, but we will definitely be going back.

Ate here June 10th. The place is very small and intimate. Our waitress was great. I got the Maki combo which includes miso soup and salad. For my choice of sushi I got the New Paltz roll, salmon skin roll, and striped bass roll. Everything was delicious. I want to try more items here. As a side note, the women's bathroom has menstrual products. First time ever seeing that at a restaurant. And I personally want to say thank you

Great place to celebrate a birthday, they offer a free fishbowl sized drink with a shot and you can order anything off the menu and it's all free for the birthday person. Besides that they have very high quality Chinese food and sushi that I get frequently.

If you're from the city this place taste average because NP doesn't have real competition since it's a small town. Compared to other places in NP this place has great service and the food taste amazing. However, if you ever had city food it taste like every other restaurant.

Ordered take out. It was ready quickly and tasted quite good. Atmosphere appeared cozy.

Parking is a little difficult because the parking lot is shared so either go when there arent a lot of people or find a spot on the street. Service is usually quick, and your meal only takes about 6 minutes to get to you depending on what you order. The meal is always good, whether it be General Tso or a sushi roll!

Food is very good and service is always a pleasure! I'm giving them 4 stars cause I dislike having the TV's on! Their distracting and keep folks from engaging in family time together. Too much media everywhere!

Definitely a great spot. Sushi was awesome. Ordered scallion pancakes, steamed dumplings, pain fried noodles with beef. Everything tasted fresh. Good quality. Very solid option for a night out of you're looking for Asian cuisine.

The waitstress vibe was off putting i dont know if she just sucks at her job but I did not like her tone when speaking to me. It was a white women with glasses. Everyone else was nice though.

The wonton soup was literally perfect! Inexpensive and a nice portion. Very fast kitchen turnaround time. The parking in New Paltz and the traffic is why it gets only four stars, the food was very good. Just getting into and out of the main drag is always busy. Staff were pleasant and we had an enjoyable lunch. The sushi 🍣 was gone from our plates in no time....prices for New Paltz as far as food is concerned was better than expected and I will be back for more!

The service was good. We sat outside cuz it was nice weather so the view was nice. The appetizers were awesome. I especially enjoyed my meal which was shrimp with lobster sauce. I'd recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

Good food, expansive menu. It is a rip off to "eat in" though. Wanting to get fried rice with a meal while sitting in the dining room means paying $6.50 additional for a "side" of the rice, and still getting white or brown rice with the meal- no substitutes. Meanwhile, if you order take-out- the options with your meal include fried rice, no additional charge. I like their food, but I will be getting take out from now on.

I'm gonna review the sushi and cooked food separately. I think a lot of people would be fine with the sushi here if they are a casual eater. It's generally covered in sauce and other accompaniments. But the sashimi shows the fault of the fish. I've had sashimi from here multiple times and there's a sickly fishy smell. The tuna is grey and the salmon is clearly over dyed. It's bland tasting and not fresh at all. The cooked food on the other hand is standard fare Chinese American cuisine. It's alright. My eight year old niece loves it. I have a friend who will vouch that she's gotten food poisoning twice. She still eats here though. Service and drinks are otherwise fine, if a little slow. But the place is lackluster and I implore you go to anywhere else if it's sushi you seek.

By far the best Chinese food in New Paltz. It's tough finding good Chinese in this little town, but Asian Fusion seems to be doing a good job. The price is right, they aren't the best Chinese you will ever have, but they the only option in our area without having to drive 20 miles. My only real complaint with this place is that they are really reserved when it comes to their spicy options. If I ask for my plate to be "extra spicy" I expect it to be extra spicy. They hold back a lot on the spice, I think to avoid complaints.

First time going to Asian Fusion, the people there are very nice. Brought take out of egg noodle soup with roast pork. The soup was okay and the portion was smaller then what I thought it should be with relation to the price.

The restaurant is fine. I’ve been there many times. If you go there the food is OK. Nothing is astoundingly delicious but it’s OK. DO NOT order delivery from them. The food is undercooked and bland. They sent a single packet of hot mustard for four dishes. We’ve ordered sushi for delivery also and it was sub-par. And it’s overpriced. Never again. Sorry.

I was there last summer when the table collapsed on the deck. My food was good and service very nice. But I am troubled that it’s now 2020 and the rubble from the collapsed table is STILL on the deck where people and children would be eating when the weather is good. I’ve been waiting to see it get cleaned up and haven't come to the restaurant since. I hope the lack of attention on the deck is not happening in the kitchen. Please clear away the debris. Thank you.

Food could be a bit more spicy, easily after the fact that I asked for extra spicy. It was not adequately seasoned either. Otherwise tasted great. Portion was large and everything seemed fresh. Their hot oil was good too.

Food is sometimes good and sometimes not. Who’s in the kitchen tonite? And....,prices just went up and its a little bit over priced I mean....$7 for a small pork fried rice? That’s stupid. IMO

Disappointing. Ordered Veggie chow mein combo online. Noodles are covered in slimy flavorless goo, was charged $2 expecting veggie fried rice but it only has onions in it. Overall bland and just not good. Sorry guys. Egg rolls mediocre.

Twice I've ordered to-go from Asian Fusion, and both times I've been underwhelmed. The sushi was falling apart, and the sesame chicken was tough/stringy (with a very obviously afterthought toss of seeds on top of a poorly sauced dish). There are too many other options in New Paltz worth a shot for me to keep trying this place.

I got takeout so I can’t comment on the service or atmosphere, but my god is the sushi bad. Bland, overpriced, and not worth it. You’re better off making the trip to Kingston.

Have been coming to Asian Fusion for over 7 years and have always been a big fan and a loyal customer - many birthdays celebrated here. However, have been finding the quality of the food to be consistently going downwards. These past two years we've tried to support many local small businesses as much as we could and I have to say, we find ourselves coming here less and less. We just picked up food tonight and the sushi was terrible. It tasted sour, it was falling apart, and it was anything but fresh. We are willing to pay higher prices, be patient with understaffing and longer wait times throughout these weird times but there's no excuse for this. Very disappointed.

Extremely strange to not have regular menu for eating in. They did let us order a take our meal and eat it there. Was not enough rice to go with the dishes. The shrimp with cashews had celery and carrots which , to me, is not Chinese. Had to ask for everything such as duck sauce, soy sauce salt and pepper. The spicy tuna sushi was great.

I recommend going here if you happen to enjoy being entertained by a retarded floor show, courtesy of the staff. Although the quality of the food I ordered was very good (except for the tiny servings of rice - brown or white, same taste ???), you had to ask for every single thing you are normally given in other restaurants. The staff is unable to discern between eating in vs. take out (2 separate menus) and why you have to explain why the take out food can't be eaten in ??? Skip this place unless you enjoy special ed. comedy ???)

Ordered for pickup and food was just bad, got Beef Yaki Udon and pan fried vegetables dumplings. Beef tastes like not real meat, not even sure it's actually beef and that same flavour coats the entire dish and makes it inedible. The dumplings were sub par but this gets two stars and not one because the women were nice at the counter. I appreciate friendly staff but definitely don't recommend this place, 21 dollars down the drain 👎

Meh….We ordered food for pick up. They forgot the Ginger dressing… That’s the best part! The pepper steak and onion. Dinner was OK. The beef was a little weird and soft. I love beef on a stick and even though this is not a traditional beef on a stick it’s cubed steak and was very tender. The crab Rangoon’s were not fresh. The wonton soup had three wontons and two were undercooked.

This used to be our favorite spot for Japanese food, but it has deteriorated. There's a funky smell as you walk in, and it's not welcoming. The sushi here used to be good and fresh. Service is not that great either. Too disappointed.

The food is delicious, don't get me wrong. However their pictures online do NOT depict the food at all. The meat I ordered was tough and small. The Kani salad was more than amazing, I do recommend that. California roll comes with 6 pieces and the picture shows 8, I ordered it for 2 people smh.(We usually eat 4 pieces each)

Ordered chow mein. Brought me out a plate of stir fried vegetables and insisted it's chow mein. I told them chow mein is noodles but they insisted I was wrong. The stir fry vegies were good though...

Pretty upset I had placed a online order like I always do, I ordered the boneless spareribs combo with egg drop wonton soup - they have a box for comments to add additional items, well I had ask for EXTRA hot mustard sauce , as I got home and went to sit down and eat is when I noticed I got NO extra hot mustard but 1 packet, my egg drop wonton soup was plain wonton soup that tastes like dirty dish water and wet dog, I went to go eat my combo and noticed half of the ribs are nothing but FAT. I’m rather disgusted at this point and giving 1 star because not once but several occasions have they messed up on a order.

Despite this being the best Chinese Food in New Paltz we have to boycott it. In 8 different take out orders over the course of this year 6 of them were filled out wrong. There's nothing more upsetting in take out then getting all the way home only to find out somethings missing or wrong meaning you have to get back in the car and go back.

I’ve given this place several chances. Time for a review. The food sucks. I ordered chicken and broccoli. I basically got broccoli with 3 1/2 pieces of pathetic chicken. I didn’t just pay $20 for a few shriveled up pieces of chicken in a bowel of broccoli. If it wasn’t for the fact that new paltz doesn’t have many options for Chinese, this place would get zero business. Tourist have some ridiculous novelty over the food here and it’s just trash. This place wouldn’t survive else where. Very over priced to give you minimal meat. Also I have complained before and they keep giving me 2 pieces of meat for $20.

Overpriced and underflavored! The chicken was so dry it crunched. I paid an extra $3.00 to add broccoli to my meal and I got 3 pieces of bland broccoli that tasted as if it had been frozen at some point. The spring rolls are mushy and tasteless. Overall, just very unsatisfied.

Very very disappointed. Not only don’t they deliver, but they messed up our order. They forgot to add extras we placed for our rolls, and gave us three of the same roll- or in their words, they gave us “different rolls even if they might look and taste the same”. You’re telling me at an actual sushi restaurant they can claim that all fish tastes the same? Spent a lot of money on rolls- only to be dry with almost no fish inside but rather filled with only tempura flakes. No labeling on which roll is which either. When asked what they could do, they said bring it back in- which is rather inconvenient after having to drive twenty minutes there in the first place to pick it up. I’d suggest Tokyo Sushi or Hokkaido instead.

Once againnnnn... we order from this business and they forgot to put items that we ordered and paid for in the bag. We even asked the girl if everything was in there and she said yes. This has happened multiple times now. We took a break from ordering from them after finding worms in the food and decided to give them another chance. Get your business together please.

Short our order over $60. Call Asian fusion to rectify and received Horrible and unprofessional customer service with no resolution to the error. Staff was disrespectful on phone and gave fake names to avoid reporting. Refused to notify supervisors of my request to speak.

I eat here often as I live in the area. Their sushi is great and fresh, however their other food is questionable. We usually get some sort of chicken dish and it NEVER tastes fresh. Idk why we keep trying. The chicken teriyaki is always grey and dry, and the general tso/sesame chicken the meat is always extremely brown, not even slightly resembling chicken. But tonight's experience tops them all. I got sushi as per usual and an order of shrimp shumai. Both were good as usual. However, when I opened my egg drop soup there was pieces of moldy egg. The first piece I thought may have been burnt, but after mixing it a bit I saw that over 20 pieces had mold on it. This food was just purchased, not left to sit in my fridge. absolutely disgusting. Last time I eat here considering that shows how badly their food treatment is. I would assume all other food is equally as neglected, especially their soups are popular and not something that would be left to sit out due to no one ordering. Very happy I saw the mold before eating, as I'm sure it would have made me sick.

This place is a joke we ordered a seafood treasure and there was 3 peices of seafood and the rest was vegetables. Also i had a side of pork fried rice for 7$ and is was a small soup bowl or rice never eating here again. Save yourself the time. Find another place that doesn't screw you.

We waited 45 minutes to get our food! The waitress was very nice, but as soon as we ordered the whole kitchen staff took a lunch break at the same time, and we waited after they ate their food for them to start making our food! Very disappointed, there is no way that the wait is 15 minutes!

It was the worst beef and broccoli I ever had. I ate only the fried rice and egg roll which was very bland. The server didn’t ask if she could get me anything else. Definitely won’t be back.

Still waiting for our side plates. Service here is awful! I wish I could give no starts but since the food is good ill leave it at 1 star. We got in at 6:45pm on a Sunday. there was one other table. after we got sat a party of 8 came in. their waitress was on the money. she got them drinks and took their orders. ours not so much. we were lucky to get drinks after 20 min. then another table of two got sat behind us again they had the good waitress who was on the money. 8pm comes around we STILL don't have our food but the table of 8 and the table of 2 were done eating!!!!! I said something and she said sometimes the kitchen puts out whats easier to make first some of the friend food ya know like chicken and bro take longer... well with that being said the kid behind us was eating just that. Chicken and bro. she never brought us plates so we could share our appetizers. I had to ask several times to even get a drink. it was awful. the sad part was is they weren't even close to being busy!!!

I’ve been buying food from Asian fusion since like 2012. But I’ve noticed lately the quality and service has gone down. The food is mediocre at best and is pretty overpriced for the quality. With that being said almost every time I’ve ordered food recently I’m missing something from my order when I receive it , and this has happened multiple times through Doordash as well. Personally I’d just expect more consistency with how pricey the dishes are. I probably won’t be returning.

Do not eat here. We went here for dinner and the food was subpar. The table needed to be cleaned before we sat down which was questionable. The entire place was dirty. I ordered two rolls with veggie dumplings and the food tasted like it was old or expired. The dishes looked nice, but the ginger and wasabi was dry and even the soy sauce seemed off. My fiancé ordered the pineapple chicken dish and it was more like pineapple road kill. I’m hoping we do not get sick. We will not be dining here again.

I have eaten here a few times and found little things in my food that don’t belong, noodles from a prior dish, vegetables from another dish, ext. This time I found a Whopper of a bug in my meal. I was so thoroughly freaking disgusted. I’ve heard other people make comments about them not being very clean, I will never go back again.
