Pleasantly busy, with cheerful and engaged staff. Well organized and efficient, with minimal time lost to waiting. Beverage order was prompt to arrive, and no feeling of being rushed to order our meal. The food was good and to our liking. Not fancy, nor did we expect it to be. Good fare. Good service. Good price for us. Thank you for a great experience.

We were originally planning on going to the Gastropub on the same property but unfortunately, they were booked for the night. They told us about this place which was right next door. Since we were passing by and we’re starving, we decided to give it a try. The place is pretty nice with nice views. There was only one table there which was a bit concerning. Our waitress was very nice and the food came fast. Everything was surprisingly good! The clam chowder was made from scratch. The appetizers were really big and could totally pass for full meals. Overall great experience!!!!

Delicious food... awesome views... and even nicer service! We met Gavin the owner and had a lovely waiter. We can't wait to come back! It is our new favorite spot for whenever we come back to the gunks. It's amazing having nice service!! Thanks again Gavin! Had the clam chowder and house salad with shrimp and it was delightful! Everyone enjoyed their meals!

First you'll love the view then you'll learn that the service is friendly and accommodating then you'll have the food that is so good completely matching the service and the view! We will definitely comeback here next time we're in New paltz! The classic chowder is a must try!

French onion soup and chicken quesidilla was top notch! Waiter was a gentleman and we had a great view of the golf course. We are definitely going back.

In the area and took a chance on this place, a lovely terrace looks out over the golf course but we ate inside. Fish & chips was very good, others enjoyed their meals. Our waitress was great but one problem is that she works alone and it seems the kitchen is understaffed too, it took about an hour for our food to arrive. Way too long. Otherwise a pleasant experience.

We came here with no reservation for a late afternoon lunch/very early dinner with our dogs on the patio. Staff was very friendly, however, toward the end of our meal, our waitress disappeared. We never found out if her shift was over and she left or what. (As a former server, if my shift was ending and I had a table, I would let them know and I could transfer their ticket or close them out with me...she just...never came back.) We had the meatloaf and a burger. It was good. Nothing to write home to Mom about, but it satisfied us. We also had 2 drinks each...same with the drinks, nothing super exciting, but not awful..an Emerald Margarita was one of the drinks. We chose this place because it was dog friendly, however, I think we'll try a different place if we ever come back this way.

Went for dinner and got some odd food. Atmosphere was golf clubhouse, as it is, service was great. Licorice pasta was just wierd, ruben was nothing special...i guess it was ok except for that pasta. Pretzel was very good.

Came with family ( brother in law and my 1 month old ) to enjoy the view and the food, first time at this place recently found it on google. The place was very nice like the pictures HOWEVER I was walking inside to greet someone about asking to be seated outside. A server came out and rudely said can I help you? So politely said I would like to get a table for two outside and she asked me if I had reservations and I said no (online also shows open to public) and she said okay well I have a really large party that just came and I can’t serve you right now. And then I think she recognized the look on my face of like “what the heck” and then proceeds to say if you want I can but it will be a while before I can serve you. Then proceeded to grab menus and while putting the menus down saw my newborn in the stroller and started making comments of how hectic it will get for the baby bc of the amount of people in the party. Very unwelcoming that I stated no it’s okay thank you about 3 times for us to leave and then finally after the fourth time coming from my brother in law we finally said no it’s okay we are leaving thanks. This is very rude and unprofessional of a company to allow this type of behavior, this could have been approached very differently. I will no longer give this place another chance nor recommended it. If I could give zero stars I would.

I really wanted this to be great but we were very disappointed. I ordered a medium burger it came out well done, so did the cheese and the bun. Burgers are frozen patties that taste like the lunch lady at my high school made them. No lettuce no tomato. And if you ordered something that was from the fryer you’re screwed because they haven’t changed the oil in a while! Chicken and waffles was overcooked in old oil and waffles are Eggos basically. Besides that our server was great. Also, be careful you don’t get a splinter on the flimsy railing.

onion soup burnt, garden salad chx dry, avocado toast not sure what that was crab cakes and fish and chips greasy service ok he was overwhelmed 1 server and bartender. drinks tara awful. place was dirty and full of flies. would not recommend
