Came here for a happy hour with some friends and loved it! We ordered a bunch of apps (calamari, sliders, etc) and this one cucumber lemon martini was AMAZING! I’ll be back !

Service is great! They are so personable and remember you when you come back. The Steak Frittes is amazing, and a curse, you will not be able to stop eating the fries they are that good. If you dare ask for honey mustard, the combination of the salty fries and the honey mustard is to die for. This review just gave someone a craving I know it!

Just returned from Sunday dinner at this new restaurant. We were really pleased by the quality of the food and polite, professional service. We also felt that the prices were very reasonable for the quality. We had salads, soup, two appetizers and two entrees. Everything was great, fresh and properly seasoned. The space was not noisy either. We look forward to returning.

This place is WONDERFUL! This was my fourth time here since December, always with the same friend. You immediately realize this is a comfortable space with different seating options. The staff is excellent from the minute you arrive, until you say goodbye. Most importantly, the food is absolutely delicious. Drinks are a full pour, the menu is varied enough to please even the pick eater (like me!) We shared the burrata with peppers to start...absolutely delicious. I have had the seared tuna and the branzino in the past, my friend had the rigatoni with short ribs and all were amazing. The last two visits, we both had the Steak Frites, cooked to a perfect medium rare -- only to be described as yummy, yummy, yummy. We are always to full to order dessert, but as they pass us on the way to other tables, they really look delicious. This is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant, with food and service elevated to a higher level. Put this on your must visit list, you won't regret it, rather, you will become a regular!

I absolutely loved this place, everything was perfect! The staff and owner are tremendous and very attentive and so friendly! The food was delicious, nice and hot, great portion size, and so flavorful! Such a great community feel! 100 percent will be recommending this place to our friends! Can’t wait to go back!

Great food, good atmosphere definitely a five star

Had another fun night at Providence Bar & Kitchen last night. The food is consistently delicious and they have a couple of wizards behind the bar. But what makes this place special is the hospitality of owner Erik and staff. Even on a crowded Saturday night, this group is friendly, attentive, and fun to interact with. A new regular spot for us.

The first word that comes to my mind is thoughtful. The service, the timing of the food, the staffing - everything. Food was amazing, portions are solid. We didn’t feel rushed but also didn’t feel ignored. My wife and I walked out blown away by how unassuming the place was and how great of an experience we had. You’ll have a great night. Enjoy.

From the moment I walked in, I knew I'd love this place. The hostess was incredibly welcoming and sweet and offered an outdoor table. The owner was funny and engaging. Our server Enrique was fantastic...also with a great sense of humor. The vibe here is great and it's easy to see why it's a successful restaurant. The food was very good too. I had a nice pistachio salmon and my friend requested that a certain shrimp dish get prepared as chicken instead. It was no problem. I'll definitely be back. They know how to make you feel special and they're grateful for your patronage.

Took my girlfriend and I on a dinner date. Food was great, cocktails were delicious and hospitality was even better. It was raining bad the day we went, and the hostess couldn't have been nicer. She made sure we had what we needed to dry off and have a nice evening together. Looking forward to the next time dining here.

What a delightful spot! From the second we walked in...greeted at the door by a smiling young man with "Happy Saturday " ! Sat at the bar, Tom and Gio terrific!!!really know their stuff,and fun!! Every staff member wonderfully, genuinely friendly..even though our first time, felt like a regular !! Lamb shank outstanding as were the lamb chop and tuna capacious appetizers...And the skillfully prepared cocktails: PERFECT!! SSOO GLAD WE'VE FOUND THIS LOVELY SPOT!!! Can't wait to get back!! BRAVO!!!

We sat on their "deck" for dinner. The weather was great so they opened the roof which was lovely. The food is consistently delicious. I had Steak Frites last night. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked.

A great eating experience should offer fine cuisine, exceptional service & a bit of nostalgia. The gracious service is eclipsed by food that took me back to grandma's perfect cooking, foreign travel experiences & the unique modern take their chef has on their cuisine! Wild mushroom soup that made me remember the same I had in Zurich; red quinoa & baby arugula over orata & chocolate mousse to finish the evening. So good were the above mentioned, I went back the next day to enjoy it all again! Looking forward to the success of the new owner & his staff, & having a delicious history here ~

My family and I celebrated my husbands birthday last night. The service was a 5 star experience. The waiters and hosts were so attentive and professional. The ambiance was beautiful and relaxing. The good was delicious and authentic. Everything about this restaurant was delightful and we will be returning soon. (Especially our host "To New York") 😁 Ask for him.

We celebrated our son's 1st Communion here and our guests (both from the adults and kids) had nothing but rave reviews about the amazing food and outstanding service. Tony and staff were wonderful to work with and made our celebration enjoyable while remaining safe during this pandemic as the outdoor deck was the perfect setting for our party. Great food, excellent staff and ambiance! One of our new favorite spots!

We recently moved to area and have been searching for our go to spot… look no further. This place is incredible. The bartender is phenomenal. His cocktails are perfectly made. One of the best old fashions I’ve had. Tony, our server, was incredible. Great sense of humor, very knowledgeable of the menu, and accommodating throughout dinner. The food was delicious. We split the burrata and tuna tar tar for apps and had the pork chop special as well as steak frites for entrees. The steak virtually melted in your mouth and the pork chop was full of flavor. We will definitely be back for years to come.

Great restaurant. Outdoor seating available. The wait staff are well trained and very attentive. We had a large party and they catered to everyone within the group especially the children. The old fashion was delightful. Edgar suggested food and drinks that were very helpful and delicious.

An absolute GEM! Delicious food. You cannot order anything bad here. Every dish is scrumptious. The entire staff caters to your every need. The bartender must be one of the best mixologist ever. Great knowledgeable staff with a relaxed atmosphere. 10 stars for sure!

Amazing outdoor dining experience during the pandemic. The patio is there all year round so it was very comfortable. It is tucked away so you do not hear noise from the street or parking lot. The food was amazing, fresh, and hot. The service was super friendly and kind.

Wonderful restaurant and bar. Food was outstanding. There is outdoor dining, which we enjoyed, and the interior of the restaurant is very attractive. Mr. Benito, the owner is very gracious and friendly to his customers… making sure everything is perfect. We will be back!

The staff was were all very friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. They were also very accommodating and able to make a kids sized portion of an entree for our daughter.

Absolutely Stunning! Wait until the Michelin guide hears about this place! We stumbled into Providence Bar & Kitchen rather randomly, expecting a trap rock experience, which is to say decent fare. How surprised were we when were treated to a Le Bernadin class of experience. Their menu is extensive, with each item conceptualized and executed to perfection. No detail overlooked, with each ingredient fresh, and expertly put together. I would not be surprised if there were taste tastes upon taste tests to get it exactly right prior to offering the dish to market. I have had swordfish with seasoning which revolutionized the dish here. Octopus, never chewy, expertly prepared. The wine list isn't just sommelier curated but picked to give the patron a new experience, a new take on what they had already tried. Overall, it is hard to be surprised with a dining experience given the option, but this place absolutely nailed it. Service was top notch. Giovanni understood the art of catering and making an experience truly elevated. The staff behind this pace is other level. It should be national landmark.

Whether you are there for a quiet drink at their well stocked bar or enjoying a family meal or corporate gathering, you always feel like the most important person in the room. The food is amazing and so is the ambiance (bonus if you are there on an evening where there is some light live music adding to the atmosphere)!

For dinner, we enjoyed the corn soup, eggplant parm, and steak frites — each dish was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The corn soup was rich and comforting, the eggplant parm was hearty without being heavy, and the steak frites were cooked to perfection with crispy, golden fries on the side. Providence Bar and Kitchen is a gem — the kind of place where the food, drinks, and service all shine. We’ll definitely be back

I stopped by here for lunch. Ordered the chicken parmigiana which was ok. Never offered bread with the meal. With tip $36 lunch I doubt I would be back and I only had water, no wine.

The service was great. They accommodated a party of 3 with no reservations on a Friday night. (They get busy)The food and the drinks were good. Overall we enjoyed our experience

Excellent food and service. Cool atmosphere. A smidge dark inside. Expensive but justified for the amazing food and funny and attentive wait staff.

Good fusion restaurant. However, I have a shellfish allergy, and though they were very accommodating and my meal of chicken Parm was excellent, there is a lot fish and shellfish on the menu so for others to be aware. Staff were wonderful and atmosphere was great for our office Christmas dinner!

Calamari appetizer was fantastic! Tuna Pizza, delicious 😋 The servers are amazing. For the manager: It feels like they are pushed to be too much on top of everything. If it is slow, let them chill and not have to keep busy.

Admittedly, I think that the major reason for my meh experience here was because I came in a group. We had a (pre-planned and reservation made) party of about 20 people. I'm not sure if they underestimated how much staffing they'd need or what, but service-wise this was a difficult lunch to have. Started with appetizers. They were fine. The calamari was actually pretty good. Arancini and the meatballs were not my favorite. Mussels are just not the most shareable appetizer. The waiter went around and asked who wanted a caesar salad. In the end, maybe 70% of the people who asked for one were given one the first go-round and then probably 85% of those who asked ultimately got one. While the apps came out fast, the mains took an exorbitant amount of time. We were really the only party there so I'm not sure what the place is like if things get busy. But non-exaggeratedly they probably took about an hour to 75 minutes to come out. At that point, I had really had enough calamari to call it a day on a meal and took the salmon home. This salmon was fine, a fairly nice piece of fish. The seasoning and sauce were fine. Do I think it was particularly "parmesan-crusted" as advertised-not really but I didn't mind that. But do I think it was a skosh expensive for a lunchtime dish? A bit. Ultimately I think maybe they were just overwhelmed. A solid example is asking for lemons for the water three times to two separate people before getting it-which isn't a big deal but when you're waiting there for so long waiting for food it does weigh in. The parking lot in the back is a very nice option. So maybe it's better for smaller meals, who knows. But I wouldn't recommend having a larger party here.

I recently ate there with my wife for the first time. It's great to have a nice, laid back, yet upscale restaurant in our neighborhood we can go to for good food and drinks. We liked the Providence Bar & Kitchen. There's only one small yet strong suggested piece of advise. Don't play really bad country music. Listening to some good 'ol boy singing about taking his little gal for a ride on his big green tractor (I'm not making that up) was at first amusing then distracting. It' seemed really out of place for such a nice restaurant featuring an Italian menu. We'll be back again but please consider ditching the hillbilly soundtrack. :)

If the food at this place wasn’t totally incredible this would be a one star review. I don’t understand what happened during our experience but the service was terrible. We weren’t greeted coming in, our server didn’t take our order, and we had to wait 20 minutes at an empty table to be given our check. We went on a Tuesday late afternoon. Not busy at all and plenty of staff and management hanging around. The managers and waitstaff were chatting up with locals at surrounding tables which is great and they should, but they shouldn’t be so engrossed that they are not noticing the other customers. This paired with the loud ringing of the restaurants phone in the middle of the dining room was just too much. For the amount of money you’d be spending here you could go to a nice byob place and not feel unseen by your server when your bill is going to be $100 for two people to eat dinner and have sodas. I don’t think I’ll ever be back and I feel bad making such a review but it really was awful. I understand the restaurant game is struggling right now but incompetent servers AND managers/owners should not be happening in such an expensive place.

I do not usually write reviews, but I have to for this restaurant after the absolute letdown that this dinner was. We showed up on time for our reservation and we were seated 30 minutes late without any sort of communication or apology from the staff. It took at least 20 minutes for drinks to come to our table whenever we ordered one. It then took over 90 minutes from when we were seated for our entrée to come out despite other tables seated at the same time as us finishing their food before we even got ours. While my food was piping hot, my husbands was marginally hotter than room temperature and beyond dried out. However, I couldn’t say anything because no one came over to check on how the food was until they came to clear the plates. We heard good things about this restaurant. But after going ourselves, I would never recommend this place to anyone. I could list off 10 other Italian places within a 10 minute drive that would blow your mind compared to this establishment. By far one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had in the last 5 years.

Worst service ever experienced. Food was greasy and meat was not cooked correctly, sent back and received the same. No one checked on us, not even to offer drinks. The management could not care less that we had a bad experience. They will not see us again

DONT PLAN TO HAVE A PARTY HERE! We met with the owner Eric 8 months ago and planned a party for my BRIDAL SHOWER. He sat with us and we picked a date to have it. Now that it's coming up, we have been trying to contact him for weeks, maybe even months with no response. I even went in person to ask for him and nothing back. How do you run a business this way? Very unprofessional and could have ruined my shower as we are getting ready to make our invitations. Don't even bother trying to have an event here- there are much better options a few mins down the road!
