Opinions de Bagels & More New York
We live nearby and we've been ordering from here for a while now (never visited in person but we've walked by) and they have the best bagel egg and cheese sandwiches I've ever had in my life (and I've had many across NY/NJ). The bagel is a good size/thickness/density, the sandwich is always consistent. Fresh squeezed orange juice is also always amazing.
Although it can get pretty crowded and hectic sometimes -- this place has seriously the best bagels. It's super fresh and they are very generous with the cream cheeses. Amazing juice bar. I love how they know my order by now, this is my go to place. :)
Good old fashioned bagels. Family atmosphere. Nice amount of cream cheese, good breakfast options, and fast service. Better than most of the hyped up NYC style bagel places on the tour guides.
This place is a fantastic spot to get your NYC bagel 🥯 fix! They have a wide variety of bagels to choose from (my favorite is the egg 🥚 bagel), and you can try them all by ordering the Baker's Dozen - it's all 13 (yes, 13) bagel options for only $15. As the name suggests, Bagels & More has more than just bagels, but you really do come here for the classic NYC 🗽 bagel. Would definitely recommend visiting if you're on the UES. I wish more people knew about this place!
Been ordering from them during quarantine and they have the best bacon egg and cheese I've ever had every time. Bacon is perfectly cooked, tons of options, and the coffee is pretty alright too.
Absolutely always loved their bagels. My best friend and I discovered it in high school and it is literally on our list of #1 Bagel shops who know how to do bagels right. Even somethimg as simple as their plain bagel with extra butter is outstanding. Literally can't get any better than that.😊😋 Side Note: Their bacon on their bagels is crispy to perfection!!! They also have an A rating if you wanted to know. They also have a salad, juice, and smoothie bar.

Although they specialize in bagels, you can get sandwiches, soups and sweets here. In a nutshell, this is an upgraded bagel/coffee food truck you can find all around the city. Being an actual store, they of course offer wider selection, so the cream cheese variations go from regular to strawberry infused and all you can think of in between. Bagel selection is also on point. Prices are great and staff is fast with their service. They also serve bagels and other breakfast goodies whole day. There a few seats, but it's better if you consider takeout here.
Generously filled fresh bagels. Reuben and Club Turkey very satisfying.
The bagels and their tasty spreads/ toppings remain a staple and classic in this neighborhood for 20+ years. And while I haven't visited in over 17 years, the quality of the food still remains the same. I brought one of my many brothers here to experience for himself the reality of what had just been a story before, and he was pleasantly satisfied by the food. Generally, I would recommend the cinnamon raisin walnut cream cheese on a toasted raisin bagel for children or more mature customers, and the scallion cream cheese on a toasted onion bagel for others.
I only had a cup of black coffee. About 25-cents too expensive for my taste ($1.75). It was good, tasted like a classic cup of NY black coffee served from a cart in one of those "Have A Nice Day" with Greek columns border cups. I'd give a half-star more because this cup of Joe successfully distracted me from breaking my intermittent fasting (with three birria tacos for $10). My companion had a toasted everything bagel with butter and said it was very good--nicely toasted with good buttery taste. I think cost was about $2 since my total order came up to $3 and change. Small place. You want to get in and out, so know what you want. Anymore than 4 or 5 people turns it into a sardines can. There is a standing table that 3 or 4 people can eat, but due to pandemic and tight quarters, I stood on sidewalk to pull down mask and drink my coffee.

The service and speed were great, but the bagel was average. We got two everything bagels with plain cream cheese, and they were alright. The bagel was dense, and in the words of my sister, “there aren’t many toppings on here… this is basically a plain bagel - where are my garlic nubs?!”
I was in the neighborhood and in the mood for a toasted bagel, so I decided to support a local business. The place seemed quaint. I don't think I'll be back though because it seems a bit overpriced for what they give. About $5 for a toasted bagel with cream cheese. The issue here was the size of the bagel, it was quite small compared to Ess-a-Bagel or David's Bagel. BEC are between $7-9, that's a hard no for me.

I've ordered delivery from here a few times and really enjoyed their BEC especially on a garlic bagel. However, as of our most recent orders, the last three to be exact, each of my orders has been incorrect. 1) First messed up order. They did not have Macaroni salad and just wrote on the receipt, no Macaroni salad without reimbursement or potentially giving me something else, they didn't even reach out 2)Second time. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and we got a Tuna salad sandwich. This is a potential risk if there was any seafood allergies. 3) and finally today's order. I got a panini, but didn't get my chips or pickles as indicated this would be included with the meal, otherwise I would've just ordered the lunch special instead. I got one Macaroni and one potato salad and they gave us two macaronis salads instead. My boyfriend has given up ordering here and I was giving it a few more tries, unfortunately I'll need to find a new place as I don't trust my order will be right anymore.
Honestly got sticker shock at the leave of the bagels: 2 everything bagels - 1 with scallion cream cheese and 1 bacon+scallion for nearly $15! I asked for toasted one 1 of them and they didn’t toast, bagels are small as well only about 2//3 the size of a regular NY bagel. Very overpriced especially for the subpar product

Ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich and the chicken was hard, old, and disgusting. Shame on you for selling expired food that can get people sick!

As another reviewer noted, calling these bagels is a stretch. I got two - one sesame and one poppy - and had one toasted and one not. Both suffered from the same issues; definitely not hand-rolled or boiled: no glossy crispy crust or chewy interior, and in another telltale sign, there are seeds only on the top side, with the bottom suspiciously flat. Interiors were cottony, not chewy and more like bread; also very bland (they’re under salted). Sad to report given I try to support local businesses whenever I can, but these bagels were a big disappointment, especially here in NYC.
My last review was deleted by the restaurant. I ordered a sandwich from the this place and they gave me the incorrect sandwich. I showed them photos and called back stating they have given me the incorrect sandwich and proceeded to tell them the sandwich has an item that I was allergic to. They did not care at all, offered no apology, no credit back, not to remake the sandwich, nothing. Worst customer service I have EVER experienced. And worst of all they deleted my previous review, who knows what else they do. Let’s hope they don’t delete this one also.
This "bagel" was really bad. I wouldn't even really call it a bagel. It was more like bagel shaped piece of bread. It definitely wasn't hand-rolled and definitely wasn't boiled. The salt bagel also looked like it used table salt, not pretzel salt as it should. That should have been a red flag too. I hate to leave such a negative review for a small business, but this is New York City. You need to do bagels right. There's a lot of places in the neighborhood that are doing it correctly.
I go to the store every morning and I order two items from the store all the time I normally wouldn’t go to the extent of leaving a review, but hopefully this will educate their better and customer service. this morning one of the employees took my order, but wasn’t really paying attention and made me the wrong sandwich sandwiches also parents so I then proceeded to call them back just to let them know that this is the second time that this is happened at is not what I ordered instead of the employee acknowledging the mistake, they accused me of placing the wrong order to then proceed to tell me that they weren’t listening instead of offering an apology. Then the employee proceeded to hang the phone up on me while speaking to him. Unfortunately, this may be my last time buying any product from them due to the unnecessary disrespect and neglection to take accountability for doing something wrong
I got bagels here Three times. The two times I got cream cheese, it was Spoiled. I suppose you could get something else there, but it is a general rule for me if anything is spoiled I won’t get Anything.

Next time offer butter, cream cheese etc on postmates. So I don’t have to get a dry a bagel. If it’s not free then I don’t think it would hurt you to list “side of cream cheese for .50 cent or add cream cheese for a dollar” or whatever. This dry bagel. I could’ve definitely paid for cream cheese.
