First time here . Nice and cozy . Our table was ready because we had a reservation . The server was friendly and quick with taking our orders . Drinks and appetisers came quick and so did our mains . Everything was flowing quickly and smoothly . Food quality was pretty good especially the rock shrimp. The sushi platter was nice with variety and the drinks were nice as well . Overall we had a great dinner experience . 👍
Really enjoyed our experience. The restaurant is quiet and there were 5 sushi chefs so the service was quick. Nice variety and very high quality. Reasonably priced compared to the very high end sushi establishments in NYC. They also have entrees as well.
The best Sushi restaurant in the Upper East town neighborhood , the stuff is so welcoming and helpful, and dining environment is cozy and chill, Sushi and fish rolls and Sashimi are fresh and delicious! Highly recommend to Dine here with friends and families!
This sushi place is a gem! The food is incredibly fresh, with each bite bursting with flavor. The staff is warm and welcoming, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself is spotless, with a clean and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious sushi and great service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ fyi:I ordered the crispy rice twice because its so good!!
My friend lives in the area and recommend this place for sushi. The sushi rolls were good and the fish was fresh and fatty. My favorite was the fantastic roll.
That crispy rice with spicy tuna on top was amazing. The environment gives me a super chill Vibe. Whereas I naturally feel hyped to try everything here out. The sushi rolls are made really nicely I couldn’t hold myself to take a picture. Overall the staff here are all really nice, the foods super tasty, and the design of the restaurant is so comfortable.
Love this local sushi spot! I’ve been about ten times now, and every dish has been consistently delicious—from the miso soup to the nori tacos and sushi rolls. The staff is super friendly, the vibe is trendy, and the food never misses. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend the sushi & sashimi combo, the fish here is exceptionally fresh and flavorful. The servers are super friendly and efficient, making the whole meal time relaxing. I’ll definitely be coming back!
We stopped by for a quick bite at the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere! Can't wait to come back once for a proper dinner!
Stumbled across this place as our other go to sushi restaurant was closed. But I could easily say, this will be my new favorite go to sushi restaurant. From the food to the atmosphere to the friendly service I give this place a 11/10 if I could. The sushi / sashimi was extremely fresh and tasty. My personal favorite was the toro. Even a basic dish that most restaurants have is rock shrimp tempura and that was the best rock shrimp tempura I had as it was not heavily drenched in sauce and had a crispyness to it. The service was excellent, friendly, and attentive so my glass was always filled with water.
Great addition to the neighborhood! Sushi and drinks are very good and the staff is extremely friendly, sincere and accommodating. Service is a bit slow but I’m sure it will only improve with time. We will be back
Best sushi place in the area. Amazing food, extremely friendly staff, very enjoyable atmosphere. I highly recommend the shrimp dumplings, the buns, the Kani salad. the summer roll.
I’ve tried a lot different sushi restaurants in NYC,the fish here is definitely fresh, people are nice too, very friendly,no doubt I will come back again and again.
Came in hungry, left happy. Food was really good and fresh. What made this experience better is the quick service and very welcoming. They assisted me with the selection and didn’t fail at all.
Absolutely amazing food! Fabulous cocktails and great wine list. Service was great. Our daughter lives nearby and took us here and we were incredibly impressed! Everything we ordered was outstanding! Very highly recommend!!!!
Stopped by for lunch. Slightly more than I usually budget for lunch, but well worth it. The sushi was fresh and delicious and the miso soup was the best Ive had in the city so far. The service was great and the atmosphere is lovely and welcoming!
Very good sushi spot, plus a lot of other great dishes. Went 30 minutes before closed food was phenomenal. Been multiple times always great. Beef negamaki, hibachi fried rice, real miso. Really nice and cozy.
Lovely Sushi restaurant! Spacious seating. Enjoyed Sushi and other dishes. Fast service. Helpful staff. Definitely worth a visit. Good neighborhood Japanese restaurant. Busy and loud.
Was in Manhattan for several days attending to the passing of my sister and having relocated from NY to Florida I was in desperate need for a NY slice. I'm a plain cheese guy so I ordered one slice to start as a test. I knew after one bite a second slice was in order. Great balance of tasty sauce and cheese cooked to perfection, nice crisp crust, great undercarriage, no flop. The following day I brought my two grown kids with me, they ordered the Pepperoni/Ricotta/Hot Honey slice which they said was excellent. All the pies on display looked delicious and picture perfect in every way. My only regret was I didn't have time to get back there one more time before I had to head back home. And kudos to the pizza maker, a master and culinary artist. The best Pizza I've had in several years. Outstanding!
HANDS DOWN BEST PIZZA I’ve EVER HAD! Very light tasting & makes you think you won’t be full, then you eat your 2nd one & you’re slumped! Very delicious and GREAT staff! A bit cramped inside but most nyc shops are like that! Must TRY!!! 💯🤙🏽
I love this place. Been going here for 3 years now. It’s a unique style square crust that absolutely smacks. Seems to be family operated and the workers are always super nice. A little expensive but that’s the standard for the area.
I stopped in on a whim since the photos looked good and this place did not disappoint!!!! I got the mushroom/truffle square and an order of the garlic/cheese rolls and DAMN 🤤 they both were really really good. Great flavor, great texture and good amount for the price.
**Delicious Slices and Cozy Vibes** My recent visit to Brooklyn pizza masters left me thoroughly impressed and craving another round of their mouthwatering slices. ((Only 10$)) Nestled on a quaint corner of town, this pizza joint exudes warmth and hospitality from the moment you step through the door. Let's start with the star of the show—the pizza. These lads are Pizza masters indeed specialized in crafting authentic New York-style slices that are generously topped and bursting with flavor. I opted for the classic Margherita and was blown away by the perfect balance of fresh tomato sauce, gooey mozzarella, and fragrant basil atop a wonderful crust. Each bite was a delightful symphony of textures and tastes. Beyond the delectable pizzas, the boys at Brooklyn pizza Masters also offers a selection of appetizers and salads. Generous portions my favourite size. The ambiance at Brooklyn pizza Masters is another highlight. The cozy seating, dim lighting, and friendly staff create an inviting atmosphere perfect for a casual walk ins The staff takes pride in ensuring every guest feels welcome and leaves with a smile. Overall, Brooklyn pizza Masters Pizzeria is a gem in the neighborhood. This place has earned a permanent spot on my list of favorite pizza spots, and I'm already counting down the days until my next visit to New York City.
Amazing gourmet Pizza and garlic knots that taste so great. You can tell that best meats are used and ingredients throughout. The garlic knots were the best I tasted in a very very long time. Suggestion would be not to reheat as it changes the taste that you get right out of the oven. They have a nice setup to eat in the heart of midtown.
Excellent! Stopped in after reading some other reviews and we are happy we did. The pizza was delicious, the atmosphere was exactly what we like (small, local, character), and the service was great. Will definitely be back. Try the garlic knots too! You’ll be glad you did. Thanks for the great food!
Casual pizza spot on the upper east side. I've been here a few times and they are consistent. Delicious pizza. Some of the best slices in the city and I say that with high standards- especially coming from Brooklyn which has some of the best pizza in the world. I love the creativity of pizza toppings. Great flavor combinations. Plus the crust is perfect. That's hard to find. I've never tried their other menu items but anytime I'm in the area I stop by. So, I look forward to trying other items soon. I recommend this place! Worth the money!
If you’re looking for a quick slice, this place gets the job done. The crust is crunchy but not burnt. They’ve got a good variety of combinations, from classic pep and BBQ chicken to goat cheese and fig or sausage potato pizza. The pizza won’t blow you away but it’s better than your average slice. Fast service and good indoor seating! The garlic knots are nicer than your average.
We were three people out for lunch and we're especially looking for the New York style pizza. The girl that took our order was very helpful in suggesting the vegetarian and non vegetarian choices and she also was very patient with us as we took unusually longer than normal to place the order due to wide array of choices on the menu. All the pizza slices were fresh and utterly delicious. The right amount of sauce, the right thickness of the pizza bread, texture and cheese. The also have the dine in option as well. The price of the pizza was fairly reasonable when compared to the pizza prices in Boston. Finding a parking spot near the restaurant could be a bit challenging for some as the parking might not be available infront of their restaurant but we were able find plenty of parking spots in the street next to the restaurant.
Ordered a Grandma pie for pick-up via the Slice app, quite busy for take out orders, very clean dining area. Grandma slice was nice and doughy, pleasant non overpowering garlic taste & scent with a slightly sweet tomato sauce. Before I knew it I had scarfed down 3 slices before my lady finish her first slice. 👍👍👍👍 It's a tasty pie.
I was awaiting a scrumptious slice of pizza on my way home from work. So I stopped at Pizza Masters, a brilliant name for a pizza place. However, I was greeted by a long wait with employees who were overtired. The pizza was like cardboard, however, the Anacini’s were incredible! If you like the 67 meme then you should oil up this pizza place’s floor. Follow up, why is this place called Brooklyn Pizza Masters when it is located in the Manhatta?
Ooof this was one of the toughest dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Everyone from the hostess to the waitress was chaotic and had the worst energy despite us being as kind and patient as possible. The food overall lacked flavor and was overpriced for a neighborhood with so many sushi spots. We went here because it looked pretty, and wanted a nicer dining experience but it seemed clear you were paying more for the aesthetic of the place and not the quality of the food. The waitress kept coming over asking for the order despite us having just sat down and when I said I needed just one more minute, she physically waved her hand like “ugh” and walked away. I’m not sure if I read that wrong but we were all kind of surprised at the response to needed just another minute. Also - One of us didn’t receive the correct order (Which isn’t a huge deal, it happens) so when they went to fix it(it was only 1 roll) it took so long everyone else had finished. The restaurant didn’t make it right in any way other than apologize but they still had her pay for it despite it being almost 40 minute late. It seemed clear the waitress just didn’t want to tell anyone of the mistake so she wasn’t going to take it off the bill. Overall it was wildly overpriced and a terrible experience. Super bummed since it looked like it would be a nice place to go to frequently.
The pizza was just straight mediocre. It lacked personality and a distinct taste. Atmosphere is fine tight long room with couple chairs and tables. If you’re looking for some pizza that leaves you bored head to brooklyn pizza masters that’s in manhattan. No 67’s for this pizza shop.
I don’t usually write reviews, but my boyfriend and I went to this restaurant on weekends and we were very disappointed. The service was very fast, and the place is nice , but we are sushi taste and we were very disappointed when our $ 4.5ea sashimi salmon came frozen. For that price, something like that should never happen. We ordered 4 of them and when the bill came, only the two that we had sent back were taken off the bill so we had to tell our waiter that we didn’t want to pay for the two that were frozen. Keep in mind that it is a pretty expensive restaurant and that is not acceptable to serve that quality of food for that pice. I do NOT recommand .
Sorry to report that Brooklyn Pizza has really gone downhill. It is not anywhere near as good as it was when we started ordering delivery over 2 years ago. The crust is too thin and either burnt or soggy and less sauce and hardly any cheese.
I was very disappointed with this place. The pizza sauce was extremely watery, which made the entire pizza soggy and unappetizing. The crust lacked flavor and had a cardboard-like texture. The overall quality did not meet my expectations. I would not come here again.
