The ambience is great. The staff is very friendly and service is great. The music is always hip, it can go from old school hip hop and R&B, to rap or rock and new school vibes. It has lots of tv's so u can watch all your favorite sports and if its not on, you can always ask to put it on. The food is more than just your regular bar food. Its more like a fine dinning menu, instead of your regular sliders they have LAMB SLIDERS which are amazing. Its a must try if you come to this place. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu. But i personally love the DUCK FAT FRIES, GRILLED OCTOPUS, BUTTERFLY SHRIMP, QUINOA SALAD, GRILLED SALMON, GRILLED SPARE RIBS, PORK CHOP, THE FLAT BREADS, THE BURGER. Hope this helps, BON APPETITE.

Came for late lunch and it was worth the 12 block walk. Irish woman behind the bar is absolute aces! Pretty damn decent tap choices; Toppling Goliath, Lock City & Maine Beer Co easily the top billing. Also, wings & fries were a solid A.

This place is awesome! Day bartender, Leah is AMAZING. She knows her beers very well and can recommend one for you! My favorite sandwich is the shrimp sandwich.

Didn't eat but stopped in for a drink with some friends. Bartender made maybe best Paper Plane I've ever had. Perfectly mixed, not over bittered or under alcohol. Well done Mate.

The staff were extremely kind and professional. They asked if I needed anything multiple times and made sure me and my party were taken care of. They were able to play our football team’s game on an individual tv at a booth which was nice because we are from out of town. They shutdown the kitchen and bar, but they let us stay late to finish the game. Thank you!

Great service and staff!! Love coming down here for a cold one after a long day of work!! Just be aware that it gets super crowded right after work and sometimes large parties show up. What’s on tap is seasonal and food is decent too - not the regular bar food that most Irish pubs have in the Midtown area.

Loved this place on our trip to NY! Wish we had similar in the uk. We shared a burger and the mac and cheese and it was delicious. Cocktails were great too and extensive list of beers

I had a great salad and the parmeasean fries were good too. The service was great even considering the waiter was in training. Great atmosphere, clean space, and the rest of the table was happy with their orders (burgers and duck tacos). Menu is a but limited but we all found something we were happy with!

Most are in Times Square are full of tourists and are overpriced. This place has one of the most amazing beer list I have every seen. More than I can count. The servers and bartenders are super friendly. They do have happy hour but only If you seat at the bar. So if you go during happy hour you might have a hard time finding a place to seat. I would recommend making a reservation ahead of time siting on a table and enjoying. Their food is amazing. Try anything in the menu there is no way to go wrong.

Wings are nuclear. Sliders are sleepy. You can't go wrong here. Plenty of seating at the bar, with a high-enough bar seat turnover that you'll almost always find a seat!

Great atmosphere. Wide range of beer and tasty drinks. Their cans are just as Great as their taps. Like a lot of places in nyc, it can get loud. I wouldn't recommend going here with family who uses hearing aids.

Loved the place. Took the cheeseburger with bacon - tender and juicy, the bun was fresh. The space is pretty big with fun atmosphere and comfortable seats. Happy hour is like a party! The bar is great with lots of drinks on the menu. Recommend 5/5!

Fantastic beer selection! Had several chats with the waitress about the menu, and recommendations. It all ties in nicely together. Ate the duck there and as someone who is used to French cuisine, it was damn good. I'll be drinking and dining again here, hopefully soon!

This is so much more than just a bar. Yes the are like 50 beers on tap as well as probably double that available in bottles, so if your a beer person is a great place for you. But it's so much more. They offer an upscale dining experience as well. The food is a tapas style. Everything that my table of 6 had was excellent. The bacon wrapped dates were particularly good as was the goat cheese croquette. I also had the lamb sliders. They were choices just right with a slaw on them that just made it delicious. We had natasha as our waitress. She was both knowledgable and helpful that just made it an amazing experience. Reservations suggested for sure.

We stumbled upon this place by pure chance. This is a great bar with great food, authentic atmosphere, and great service. 200% recommend!

First time in New York and my daughter and I happened upon this place. The atmosphere was friendly and very classy. The food was eclectic and delicious. The bartender offered great service and the doorman was very diligent about the clientele. He even went so far as to turn away a group that was obviously inebriated. Fantastic place that seemed very popular with the locals.

Food is excellent and beer selection is deep. Lots of great stuff on tap. Service was slow due to understaffing on a moderately busy Sunday evening.

I love this place from the day it opened! Great beer selection and great cocktails. The bartenders and staff are knowledgeable and super friendly. This place is perfect for large parties (make a reservation though), can accommodate private events easily The food is good as well. Duck fat fries, and goat cheese croquettes are my to go small bites. Cheers!

Decided to come into the city for an after work date and stumbled upon District Tap House while researching for a cool spot, saw online that they had Happy Hour (4-7pm) and came in! We ordered these super delicious spicy honey mustard wings, jalapeño poppers and meatballs with some beers and drinks. Happy Hour prices are only for drinks not food, which was fine because everything was moderately priced. Food was delicious, ambiance was inviting with the dark wood furniture and book shelves above the bar and it was full of happy people. I would definitely come back!

We stopped here for a quick appetizer and really enjoyed our experience. This car had a ton of beer options on draft, as well as move food menu selections. The staff is very friendly and the bar is conveniently located near the theatres. It was a great place to grab a snack and walk a few blocks to see a show.

Very good place to hang and the beer is good. Cocktails also seem good for what they are. They have truffle fries here but I wouldn't say they have enough truffle taste as other places. Molten chocolate cake is a good desert if needed.

Sports on TV, not too crowded past 20:00 and we got a table and orders placed within 5 minutes. Staff is very nice and the place offers a good selection of beers (although most of them are cans). They have vegetarian-friendly options. The food was good and not too pricey considering the neighborhood. Some good cocktails are also on the menu, although I didn’t try them. Music might be a bit too loud for casual conversations, but I guess it also depends on where you are sitting. Some outdoors seats are also available. Overall, I would recommend going there. Good-sized tasty portions.

Cool spot for drinks, food, and fun and was a welcomed break from the Times Square chaos. I had the hanger steak and a local beer. The food was portioned well and cooked perfectly. We watched football games and there were plenty of kids options too.

This is a fantastic bar serving good food. Made a same day reservation using Google maps, so totally easy. They have a big selection of craft beers on tap which is what we were looking for. Highly recommend the tacos to go with your strong beers!

Awesome vibe here and the food was delicious! Reasonable prices for the city + Bar tenders have a great sense of humor and are very friendly. The lamb sliders and their hot honey wings were packed with flavor and finger licking good. Definitely tagged this spot on my Google map and will be back to try some of their other dishes.

Stopped in here after work on a random late night, and I was genuinely impressed. At most places, hospitality drops as the night goes on—but not here. The host greeted us warmly at the door, asked whether we were dining or just grabbing drinks, and seated us in the perfect booth—quiet enough to talk, but still part of the atmosphere. Our server was fantastic from the moment she arrived. After she took my drink order, I literally said, “Yep, she’s getting a good tip.” She set the tone for the whole experience. The menu offers great, affordable options, and the beer selection is huge, with plenty of specials to choose from. Safe to say this might become our new post-work hangout spot.

If you start off this new year in this establishment you won’t regret it . Possibly two months ago I came here on one of the worse days you can imagine and afte. it wasn’t to eat it was when I came back the second time to try the food which I enjoyed I only wished the guava chicken was crispy the taste was on point as well as the French fries which was well worth it. Thanks to the awesome bartender collins who made the ruby rose margarita that you have to try if you make it there . I’m sure you will find the drink delightful and place beautiful like I did .

Great draft and bottled beer selection. I particular enjoy that they have a cinnamon sugar rim option for their pumpkin Ale options. The bacon wrapped dates were the best appetizer option we had (also tried the shoshito peppers) and I strongly recommend it for your meal or to accompany your drink. The entrees were decent but not what we would come back for. Great spot for a late night or happy hour beer!

The Veggie Burger is amazing! The fries are made in duck fat though so if you are Vegetarian be aware. Slightly pricey.

We came as a group. I had the burger which was really nice and juicy. The rest shared a few finger food dishes like dates, empanadas etc. They were not the best but ok, which is I would give 4.5 stars only. The beer selection was good and I was able to try a new IPA. The atmosphere was nicely done for Christmas season. I would come again!

I ended up here because it was open on a holiday, but I would go back! We sat at the bar and ordered flights of NY beers from their extensive beer menu. The bartender was friendly and helpful without being overbearing. We got the District Burger with fries and the Mac & Cheese, all of which was good.

Awesome bar for watching any game! There are TVs and projectors everywhere. The bar is all filled with enthusiastic sports fans so be prepared to scream for your team. The food comes in small portions and I would assume it's like finger food. The only item that would fill you for a meal would be the burger. I ordered the crab empanadas, Brussels sprouts and the burger with duck fat fries. The best item was by far the burger, it was cooked perfectly and super juicy with the crunchiness fries ever! And the most important thing, the drink menu is a never ending list!

Staff were pleasant. Atmosphere was dark, and music a bit too loud to not have to shout, "what did you say?" Food was great. Steak cooked perfectly, medium rare. Definitely will be coming back.

A local watering hole in the garment district . Loud , crowded, and full of energy. Good prices and specials at lunch and happy hour until 7 PM. A real old fashioned working bar in an area overrun with expensive alternatives.

Came here because it was near our hotel after we had a long flight. Place was lively, with lots of people. Did not have a res and literally got the last table in the back which was perfect for us (on a Tuesday around 9 pm). Wanted to share a couple things and call it a night. We split the meatballs and chicken sandwich. The meatballs were fantastic with the crusty bread slices. The chicken sandwich was not what we were expecting...almost like a deli sandwich with thick sliced deli chicken. It was served on a bun but did not hold well togther. Service was great and it was a nice light meal to close our night out with!

Not a bad tap house, lots on tap and bottle. Came on a Friday night at 630 and was rammed... Cleared out around 8. Food was not bad but also nothing to write a letter about. Service and atmosphere was good. Would definitely recommend if your up for a few crafts before dinner.

A beautiful bar serving a small menu of bar food. The place is much larger and nicer than one would think. The food portions though are smaller than 9ne would expect. Almost kids menu size. The burger was good though. But this is really a place for drinks as the bar here is practically a mile long. High ceilings and a pretty recent construction as everything is in tip top shape.

This was few years ago and here's a review I wrote up. We were staying at nearby hotel for a Broadway play, when we decided to have a bite there. It was ok. Higher expectations that didn't quite meet. The drinks were sub par. Youngest kid's Mac and cheese wasn't even good. Since there's so many other places yet to explore and try, doubtful we will return here.

Ideally I'd give 3.5 stars if Google allowed. Place is very cool bar with high tops through out and TVs at basically all angles. It is a gastropub so know that you're getting several small plates that can add up. I thought food combos were interesting (butterfly shrimp, masala skewers, and pork chop) but others missed ( goat cheese croquet, spare ribs) . All and all id go back for drinks but possibly eat elsewhere if I was looking for anything other than a couple snacks. 3.5/5.

Met a few friends at the bar for happy hour drinks. The place gets 3 stars because of the nice environment and it’s good if you’re into sports. However, our bartender would barely make eye contact, kept walking right by us and when we finally got his attention would just say what do you want as if been asked for a favor, not a service. Not the best customer service experience here.

$14 for a glass of 6% abv sour IPA. Before tax and tip. I know it's near Time Square but still so expensive. Nicely poured though. And I'd stick around for more beer but the taplist options were poor

The place is nice, but the attention of the Latino bartender is abrupt, dry and apathetic. I told him that he should be more friendly and he said that I shouldn't come expecting a smile from him.

Burger was good. Drinks not so much. I went during happy hour yesterday it was a strange setup with no hostess to seat us or explain the setup. No waiter to take our order. There were several customers that were sitting down at a free table for 15 minutes plus without anyone informing us we have to order at the bar. We noticed at another empty table there was a mini sign that said something along the lines of “order at bar”. We go to the bar to order food and drinks and we sit back down to wait for our food and drinks to be served to us. The food arrived. I asked about the drinks and I saw a pair of watered down drinks at the bar. I asked the bartender if there are any waiters or hostess and she pretty much said she does it all. It was a very strange setup and experience. I do not think I would be going again to this establishment. I do recommend changing the setup as a lot of customers walked out after waiting at their table for an extended period of time.

Absolutely terrible experience at District House. My sister, who is 26 years old, had her real, valid driver’s license questioned and was denied a drink. She even showed two additional forms of ID—both credit cards—but the bartender still refused to serve her. Instead of acting professionally, the bartender asked to see her Instagram as proof of age. That’s beyond ridiculous. Then, they slammed a glass down on our table and laughed at us like it was a joke. When we decided to leave after being disrespected, the bartender and female server started getting riled up. They didn’t even take our full order—only one person’s. Horrible service, unprofessional staff, and an overall uncomfortable experience. We won’t be coming back and I don’t think it’s worth anyone’s time. They also keep taking down our reviews. That speaks volumes and is disturbing. I would rate zero stars if I could.

Shockingly bad service. I was intrigued by the menu of beers. I asked the bartender what she recommended. She said "I'll get you a menu."

Absolutely appalled by the experience at this restaurant. I came here with two friends for lunch, and one of us ordered a drink. The server asked for her ID, which is standard, but then took it away to scan. When she returned, she claimed the ID looked fake even though my friend is 26 years old. Despite showing two additional valid forms of ID, the bartender went so far as to ask to see her Instagram account to "verify" her identity completely inappropriate and uncalled for. To make matters worse, the female server was rude and dismissive, slamming the drink on the table and failing to take the rest of our order. At that point, we decided to leave, only to be confronted by both the server and bartender laughing at us. The server then tried to stop us from leaving, even though no food had been served and we hadn’t even been allowed to place a full order. The entire experience was unprofessional and uncomfortable. The staff was disrespectful and handled the situation terribly. I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone.
