Made a quick stop and was pleasantly surprised. Great decorations for the holidays, wonderful menu. We had the onion soup, Cesar salad and muscles. Everything was delicious!

Excellent happy hour, especially Wednesday for their promotional deal on wings! Bartenders were welcoming and attentive even during those busy hours. Only beware it is busy, it is crowded. Big portion to share, delicious wings. I’d 100% go back.

I went with my family to get the oyster deal and we were kinda worried because we have one 11 year old but it was lovely! And great views.

We had lunch at John Doe Craft Bar & Kitchen and had an amazing experience! Our server was so nice and welcoming. We ordered the potato skins and loved them. The food was great quality and so flavorful! We visited at lunch on a weekday. We were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in, promptly seated, and our food arrived quickly. Highly recommend John Doe Craft Bar & Kitchen!

John does is my coworkers and I’s favorite place to hang out. The staff there is absolutely exquisite. Our server, Oisin, was absolutely so splendid and delightful!! He took such great care of us, was so attentive and kind. The FOH manager is absolutely wonderful, always jolly and accommodating. Love seeing his face. The staff is always so friendly and go out of their way to make you feel wonderful. The oysters are delicious, and their happy hour is also great. Awesome beer and cocktails. In the summer, the outdoor seating can’t be beat. This place is a classic in my rotation and I bring many friends here. Will always go back for a John Does ale and oysters.

To get the $1 oysters, you do need to purchase a drink or an entrée. • Unfortunately, that’s part of the deal. • That said, the oysters are actually pretty good — I’d recommend them!

Sat on their dog friendly patio with our small pup a few weekends back. The girl server was very on the ball, the guy was more laid back but his friendliness made up for it. The food and drinks were all very good. We had the Buffalo Mac and cheese with chicken to start and that was a full meal in itself! The house salad was hearty with the pecans and feta, I would do a different dressing next time. The penne was also very good, there were onions which we did not expect. Overall, everything was above average and we'd certainly go back in the area.

Food was decent. Chili fries was the best thing out of the dishes, Oyster is definitely worth it, slider was good, but the truffle fried was a let down. Fries was pretty soggy. What made it worth it was the drinks and the happy hour

Good atmosphere to hang out with friends although hard to hear due to music being on louder side. Service was a bit slow and difficult to get server attention. Oysters were not great quality and higher priced relative to other spots nearby.

Great place for drinks! The drinks were very delicious and reasonably priced. Place is also decorated great for Christmas. Lots of TVs to watch sports if needed. However, food needs a little work. The chicken dumplings are really good, but the fries need salt and some more seasoning. Just kind of not worth ordering. I’ll definitely give this place another try. The staff is super friendly and always hustling

Visited here with my boyfriend weeks ago. We came for the late night food and $1 oysters. My boyfriend ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and I got the penne alla vodka with steak. The pasta was okay, the wrap was a disaster. We also got 6 dozen oysters. The quality was mid, but it’s ultimately what you’d expect. Most importantly, the service was terrible. 中国人不骗中国人！One of the young men working on Sep 13 Saturday night shift, treated us very differently compared to other tables. We wanted to sit on the patio, and he said patio tables required leaving a card with them “just in case.” We didn’t think too much of it, so we did. Only noticed when we were leaving that he never asked any other tables to do the same thing. He never checked on us while we were eating either. Still, we paid in cash and left a 20% cash tip because I also work in the food industry, and the BOH staff shouldn’t be punished for this. But it was obvious there was a big difference in the way he treated us versus other customers. I would consider him racist. We didn’t bring it up to the manager because both of us were a bit drunk. If you’re Asian, don’t even bother with this place, we are not welcome here :(
