I love this place. This is my go to for comfort food. Your plate will look like this after you're done feasting on this delicious food. Try the passion fruit juice! Also, vegetarian options like stewed eggplant is amazing. You can't go wrong with what you get here. Enjoy!

I am so happy to have found this restaurant this side of Manhattan! The food is delicious, well priced and doesn’t stay around for long...this restaurant is that busy. Don’t be dissuaded by its rustic uptown decor...let the food do the talking.

This was like finding gold. There are no Dominican restaurants for miles. The 3 Hits (Los 3 Golpes) was good. I was not even hubgry but once i saw this restaurant and the menu, i just had to eat.

Stumbled across this place while wondering around the city. The menu looks good but I wasn't too hungry so I ordered the Mundungo. It was delicious. But by no means a small meal. There was so much meat I couldn't finish it.

If you are looking for a quick and inexpensive bite, this is the place to go. Service is super fast, food taste pretty authentic (did live in DR for 10+ years). Pictured is bistec encebollado with white rice and red beans (which did not make the picture🤣) and "Espaguetis Dominicanos" $12.00 total you can't beat this in NY.

I Ordered a simple rice and chicken to go, the lady serving the rice for some reason has an attitude and clearly looks like she wants to be out of there, I don’t take it personal cuz it’s whatever and everyone has an off day. The next day I come back for the same order because they have good food and it’s the same lady, with even worse attitude. Everyone else is great and friendly, the food is good, but if that lady is going to be first one helping customers I recommend moving her cuz it just ruins the experience

Stopped by this store to get lunch for take out. My first time at this place, so took me few minutes to understand how it works. Their lunch combo is one protein with rice or fries and side of beans. Multiple people are on the other side of counter to quickly prepare your meal and pack it to go. All the items are already cooked and kept warm in trays. I got the oxtail which was decent. Nice was soft but not fluffy, it was more like sticky rice kind. The portion is quite big. I finished my whole plate easily. I am now curious to try some of their other items like stew chicken, goat and liver. The store itself has old aging appearance. There are tables inside to sit and dine. The servers are nice and kind.

Not bad for a quick bite at lunch but everything was bland! Not what you would expect from an Latin restaurant. Could've use a lot more Sazón seasoning

We ordered cubans and they were literally inedible. All 3 of us threw out our cubans because the meat they used on the cuban was thick and very chewy. They were premade and god knows how long they were sitting around. People were very nice in the store and it's definitely family run but the food horrendous. For the price, there is much better around. All 3 coworkers took a few bites of the sandwich and tossed them. Also - they didnt have mustard for the cubans? and they charged us an extra $2 for hot sauce which is total joke.
