It was amazing, the food was delicious and the place was casual and homey. There are all types of Asian cuisine, and it's all really good. The staff there are kind and awesome, and the dessert is yummy. I recommend trying the Salmon Lover Fans sashimi platter. It was so delicious. Highly recommend going here!

Updated January 2021: Been coming here weekly for the last 3 years now! No better place to be honest One of the best sushi lunches I have had in a while. Very fresh sushi served with a delicious miso soup and ginger salad. Very fairly priced for 3 rolls at 14.95...I will definitely be back soon

We ordered a series of nigiri and the scallion pancake. Everything was delicious especially for the price. It seemed very much like a local favorite. Me and my partner always sit at the service bar wherever we go and that’s the reason why I’m writing this review. The bartender gave us some of the best service we got in city. Doesn’t linger too long if you want to be left alone but if you want some good conversation or recommendations he’s there for you and can guide you on what to order based on seasonality. We were out of towners and also got incredible advice on where to go next. 10/10 service.

I was looking to get a nice burger and Luke’s was able to satisfy my need. I ask for Medium and it was a perfect medium. Wait staff is very professional and friendly, most of the customers are regulars, and the place got crowded pretty quickly. I will definitely come back.

We stopped into Luke’s on a busy marathon afternoon, and the staff still managed to quickly find a table for ten of us — including four hungry, tired kids. The service was amazing, fast, and exactly what we needed after a long day cheering on our brother in the race. The buffalo wings, smash burger and Mike Wallace Meatloaf are to die for, but after several visits I’ve found you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Highly recommend Luke’s!

I wanted a proper grilled cheese with bacon. Not some deconstruction of it. Not somewhere kids arnt allowed or is cash only or is pretentious. Just a proper grilled cheese. It was awesome. Exactly what I was looking for. I loved the service and atmosphere of the place too and everything else we had was great. Loved sitting outside.

Very fun, cool, and lively spot in the middle of the Upper East Side. I wanted to order everything on the menu - it all looked incredible. Bit pricy for a pub but the portions are very generous, which makes up for it. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Great spot for a quick bite and drinks! Everything here is fantastic! Apps, mains, desserts - they really know what they’re doing, the beet salad with the fried goat cheese is my personal favorite. Come here for a full dinner or just to hang out and you won’t be disappointed.

Amber is beautifully appointed in a black and brown color scheme rendered in wood, brick, stones and shells. The sushi-centric menu features other Asian cuisines. The basil fried rice for brunch ($17 plus tax) was mildly spicy and included salad, a side (my choice was the vegetable dumplings), and a drink. The shrimp tempura roll ($8.75) was quite good. The only negative critique for the meal was that the suggested tip amount was computed after tax.

Been going here for years. There’s a good sushi deal for dinner and it’s always good enough. Nothing amazing but not bad at all. I’ll keep going back.

I went on a Monday night and sat at the bar. I wanted a quick bite and to be in and out. The server behind the bar recommended the burger over the pulled pork sandwich when I asked btw the two and it did not disappoint. The burger was legit. The raw onions were cut a bit too thick so I kept most of them off. The fries were banging. I thought $19 for a burger w no fries was a bit steep, esp for a pub. The fries were a side/additional charge but worth it. The only real complaint I had is that the people on either side of me were regulars or worked there and both sat at the bar after being outside smoking cigarettes and it killed the meal for me. I don’t want to smell cigarettes while I’m eating. Burger was banging tho.

First time trying this place during early dinner. Place not crowded coz not dinner time yet. Friendly staff and very attentive. Sushi was good for quick bites. Ordered crispy calamari and found something on one of the calamari piece. Investigated the piece and found a strand of wire (assumed it from the wire brush) on the batter. Glad I did what I did before eating the piece. Told the staff and they didn't charge us that order plus 20% off our tab. Hmm, not sure if I want to go back there tho.

The ham sandwich literally had stacks of ham within the sandwich. It also did not come with the right bread as advertised. The burger was a little flimsy, with the bun seemingly something you could get from the grocery store and throw some meat between. There was no cohesion to these meal items. The buffalo burger while medium rare as ordered was soaked in buffalo sauce which seemed amateurish. The burger also did not come with fries, which has to be ordered separately, and were not worth the price.

Trash sushi spot, I ordered shrimp tempura roll, no avacado or eel sauce , trash 👎 plain food for 19$ I waited 25 mins for pick up and she had audacity to ask for a tip?

Placed a 50$ order for sushi & forgot to add spicy mayo. I returned to the store to purchase however; the minimum to purchase is 10$. Spicy mayo is $2 bucks and the male hosts couldn’t make an exception, despite me being a LOYAL CUSTOMER and previously placing an order. Considering that I’m a picky eater and can’t eat my sushi without it, I decided to just throw it all out. —a waste of my money. This store offers cheap service & they lost out on a good customer. 0 stars if I could!

Terribly overpriced. Charges for soda refills that are served in the smallest possible glass. Burger doesn’t come with a side and fries are $10? Burger is served on the worst bun imaginable. Extremely bad and will never return.

They charged my card twice and no one will return my phone call . I've called three times and been told the owner/manager would return my call. Later I learned the actual owner was one of the people who told me to call back.
