The pizza here was really tasty. I went close to closing time, and surprisingly they still had plenty of options left. The only downside was that the staff weren’t very friendly.

So many great options for pizza slices and they all were very delicious! Staff is kind and very quick and efficient and the outdoor seating on the streets of Manhattan is great for any visitor, this is definitely my recommendation for pizza slices in NYC.

Quick and fast service and yet fresh and as amazing as it can get. The perfect place to experience as the name itself suggests the perfect new York pizza. An amazing variety of things crust and deep dish, veg and non veg options here to pair with a whole bunch of sodas in stock. Loads of internal seating and the outside ones come alive with the weather too!

This place is a short distance from the American Museum of Natural History & it is worth the walk for a good bite to eat! The margherita pizza was my personal favorite & the garlic knots are a good shareable dish. Service & food were great!

Great Pizza! Small dining space but shouldn’t be too overcrowded. They offer slices of pizza that are on display for you to choose and they also offer pies if you would like. My wife and I got a normal cheese pizza slice and a buffalo chicken pizza slice. Both were very tasty and we had no regrets. We also got a bottle of coke. They offer glass bottles and plastic bottles. They also have beer in the fridge if wanted. Place has a nice aesthetic and we enjoyed eating in. Can get crowded in there if busy though. Staff were friendly, not super friendly lol, but I mean it’s a small pizza joint so. I would definitely recommend going here for a quick meal. Took about 5-10 minutes to have our pizza slices heated in the oven again. Delicious!

They made the most PERFECT heart shaped pizza i've ever seen in my life. And they intuitively knew not to cut it either so that it'll retain its shape. Flavor was delicious too with amazing crust.

I’ve been coming here for years whenever I am on the Upper West Side or wanting to have pizza in the park. It was one of my favorite pizza places in the city. There are several different pizza places with the same name and signage as this one on 80th and Amsterdam but I believe this is the best. It is a very standard pizza place with usually plenty of seating. I’d say it can be very hot inside the restaurant on a hot day. Always look for the pies that look like they have been made recently as they typically taste the best. I can’t recommend this place more and can’t wait to go back.

Most delicious pizza in New York. I loved the vodka sauce slice and pepperoni slices. The dough is cooked to perfection. The service is also great the staff are all friendly and welcoming with quick service and great prices. Thank you for a delicious meal, can’t wait to go back again.

Made In New York Pizza has a great team behind the counter — service is fast, friendly, and exactly what you want from a New York slice shop. The atmosphere is casual and functional, typical of a city pizza spot without much frills. The pizza itself is decent but doesn't quite live up to the bold promise of the name — good enough for a satisfying slice but not the kind that stops you in your tracks. With a little more attention to the dough and toppings, this place could truly earn its New York badge.

I have been to another branch of this place a bunch of times and always found the pizza to be quite decent. But a few years ago I stopped eating dairy and since they have no interest in making nondairy pizza (I once asked, and the response I got was a hard no), I stopped going. But tonight I wanted a slice and it was the only place that was open so I went for it. I ordered a margarita and, while the taste was consistent with the quality of pizza I’ve had from them before, I was surprised at how much crust there was, what one other reviewer called “a ton of crust.“ I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a slice that was 30% crust (see photo). If quality is a concern, I don’t think they should sell slices like this one and maybe I should’ve spoken up, but whatever. If I’m going to pay $5.50 for a slice, I would like one that comes with a proper amount of cheese and sauce, and not one in which so much of the real estate of the surface of the slice is just crust.

For a delivery pizza this was SO GOOD. Perfect portions and base is crispy, not soggy at all, generous amount of toppings and just delicious. And free garlic knots! Would definitely be back.

Pretty solid slice shop on the west side! Maybe a little inconsistent in terms of crispness of the crust - my first slice was absolutely perfect but the second one could have done with a bit more time in the oven. Lots of cheese and pretty good toppings though. I’d come back.

The square came out too cold. slice was way too hot. sauce just tasted like tomatoes a bit watered down. no distinctive flavors. there was too much sauce as well -- pizza was falling apart. I don't know if other location is better but this location was disappointing. average at best.

Honestly, I’ve had better pizza. Since I’m a red sauce pizza person, I went for the Burrata pizza and the Upside Down pizza both heavy on the sauce. But the sauce leaned way too sweet for my taste. Definitely not one of NYC’s best pizza spots.

Probably the most rude pizza server I ever met. Refused to give me pizza rudely told me to wa five minutes for the pizza to cool off. I was a pizza restaurant manager for over four years. Never once would I have told a customer wait five minutes for it to cool off and not serve them. For cheese to become tempered it only takes approximately 60 seconds once it exits the oven. I noticed the pizza not only had been cold. It was also beginning to get cold. I then asked if I can wait two minutes. I was then told no five minutes. Truly the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in a pizzeria. I will not only leave this comment. I will also tell everyone I know. This place is not worth the time.
