Maestro Pasta is everything you hope a classic New York Italian restaurant will be. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is attentive without ever feeling rushed. The pasta is exceptional, made fresh in plain sight, clearly made with care and respect for tradition. Every dish we tried was perfectly balanced, rich in flavor, and thoughtfully prepared. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the pride that goes into the kitchen. I highly recommend the polenta fries to start! It’s the kind of place that reminds you why Italian food done the right way never goes out of style. Whether you’re visiting the city or a local looking for a reliable favorite, Maestro Pasta delivers consistently and beautifully. Highly recommend and absolutely worth returning to.
What a great spot!! My wife and I often enjoy trying new (to us) pasta spots and this one has probably been the best so far. I had the Pasticciata and Lasagna, for which the Pasticciata gets the spotlight, it is creamy and very flavorful, it was so good I barely took breaths between each bite. My wife had the Cacio e Pepe and burrata salad, the Cacio e Pepe was also very very good, it may have a slight upper hand over everything else we ordered, great taste, creamy and overall just incredible. Most definitely will be returning and recommend you give it a try!
Maestro Pasta in New York is pure magic — a slice of Italy right in the heart of the city! The hospitality is warm, genuine, and makes you feel instantly at home. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal — come a casa. It was so irresistible that I went back four times in just one week! This place is a must-visit for anyone who loves Italian cuisine.
An excellent dining experience from start to finish. The food was authentically Italian and done really well. The interior decor adds a great atmosphere, and the staff were outstanding — enthusiastic, warm, and genuinely welcoming. Will definitely be back next time we’re in the US!
Delicious food, became one of my fav go to places in the city when I’m in the mood for pasta. The owner seems to really take his pasta seriously. Servers can sometimes make you feel rushed when taking your order, but they are not necessarily rude. I don’t take it to heart that much. Just know what you want before you get there. Food is always prepared with care and that’s what I really appreciate about the place.
Second time at this gem! Fantastic food (we have been to Italy a lot) and service. Haven’t had better pasta in the city. Highly recommend and will come back again and again. Thank you ❤️
I had only passed by before, but finally stopped in for dinner on a weekday afternoon. It was impressive to see the handmade pasta being prepared right in front of us. With both table and bar seating, it also feels like a good place to come alone. I ordered the Puttanesca and a glass of white wine, the portion was generous enough that I couldn’t finish and had to take the rest to go. The noodles were a bit thicker than I usually prefer, but overall I really enjoyed the meal.
Wonderful food after hitting the NYC with 2 kids we needed a great homemade meal. The service was friendly and the kids loved the swing benches :) We were cold and starving , fresh homemade pasta hit the spot. Lovely atmosphere, sweet staff with a great sense of humor:)
Went in expecting a good meal, but boy were we blown away! Each pasta was flavorful & bold. The Cacio a Pepe was one of the bests I’ve had. The service— incredible! Marco is an absolute gem! If the food had been mids we would come back for him alone. TY NY 💘💘
Staff is EXTREMELY kind and informative!!!! The food is FANTASTIC, AUTHENTIC & made to order!!!! They have adorable swings to sit on while enjoying your delightful meal. The staff also makes you feel as though you’re family. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back the next time we are in the city!!
This place really delivers on both food and vibe. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by the sight of fresh pasta being made right in front of you — the guy working the pasta machine is actually the same one you’ll see in a bunch of their Google photos and videos on Google maps reviews. It’s a fun, unique touch that sets the tone right away. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and cozy with string lights that add a nice glow. The service was genuinely great — super friendly staff who made the whole experience feel welcoming. Now for the coolest part: some of the seats are actually swings. Yep, actual swings hanging from the ceiling. It’s a really fun idea, but heads up — if you want to sit on those, definitely make a reservation. We didn’t, so we ended up at a regular table (still comfy though). As for the food: excellent across the board. The Bolognese was a standout, but honestly, every pasta we tried — red sauces, white sauces, different noodle types — was on point. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Would happily go back — just with a reservation next time so we can snag those swing seats.
Amazing authentic Italian food. Alessandro is warm and welcoming and the food truly is a meal like you have never experienced!!! You will not be disappointed! We can’t wait to come back. The coziness of the tables and swings are so unique and inviting.
Got the Cacio e Pepe and it was unreal :) super creamy, perfectly al dente, exactly how I love it. The focaccia was fluffy inside, crispy outside, totally addictive. Chill vibe, friendly service… honestly, can’t wait to go back.
Truly an amazing pasta spot! Ordered the cacio e pepe and it was out of this world. Pasta was perfectly al dente and sauce was creamy but not too rich. Owner came by to check on us and was very kind!
I just had a fantastic dining experience with my husband and our adult daughter at Maestro! Alessandro and his team are terrific - they all made us feel so welcome. The food is delicious - we could see our pastas cut just before serving (which is special and unique) and exactly as we requested. The portions are generous and the wines were great. The atmosphere is great - beautifully decorated with an energetic feel yet still easy to talk and hear just our table. We loved Maestro so much that we are now planning some private parties there. Maestro Pasta is a true gem!
We were in New York for two days and decided to visit this restaurant. Everything was very delicious. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the service was excellent. Even though we were a large group, everything was well organized and attentive. The owner personally took great care of us, which made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming, like home. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back.
My son and I walked into Maestro Pasta for a quick bite with no expectations and we were very pleasantly surprised when we were promptly seated at the bar and taken care of in a warm friendly atmosphere like we eat there every night. The surprise of this restaurant is that it is in a very touristy neighborhood, yet it has the feeling like a restaurant you could eat at regularly and always be satisfied/delighted with your food. We had such a nice experience. The menu was full of pleasant surprises and yummy choices. The service was friendly, available, pleasant, and proud of the beautiful food that they were making and serving. I look forward to going back and taking my GF, starting with the artichoke appetizer as a nice prelude to the homemade pasta.
Manousheh Grand is a great spot on the Lower East Side for authentic Lebanese food and freshly baked breads. You can really taste how fresh everything is the manousheh comes out warm, soft, and perfectly baked, and the toppings and spreads are full of flavor. They have a nice variety of classic Lebanese items on the menu, and everything I tried tasted very clean and well-seasoned. I also loved that they have a small market section where you can buy Lebanese grocery items and ingredients to take home. Overall, very good food, fresh tasting, and a great place to stop for something quick but high quality. Highly recommend.
Astonishingly good. Mediterranean food in general is the kinda stuff that I don't even need to look at the menu cuz it's all good. But mother of god Manousheh takes it to the moon. I have to stop myself from going here cuz I'd eat it every day. The chicken moussakhan (spelling dubious but it's the chicken one) omfg. They churn out orders ridiculously fast. I guess they prep all the food before service and when you order something all they do is bake the bread or heat it up or something. I'm often waiting for like only 5 minutes before they bring out my order. I'm talking about ordering for 2 plus a salad. If you're going to Mcdonalds you're a loser because this is THE fast food that's better than fast food.
Arab Canadian here. I was in NY for 3 days for work and I honestly couldn’t wait to leave this chaotic city. I was quickly tired of the hustle, bustle and noise. I then stumbled upon this place. Truly a piece of home. The soundtrack, the atmosphere and the FOOD. Absolutely incredible. Just like back home. If you’re in Manhattan and wanna find a quiet and peaceful place to eat some well baked manaqesh and futoor/tarwe’a, this is the one.
In my 1.5 years living in the LES area so far, this has been my favorite restaurant/hang out spot/study spot and I will miss it dearly. I frequented it at least once and sometimes 2-3 times a week. The atmosphere is always homey and relaxing, the staff are incredibly kind, the food and drinks tasty and nutritious, especially since I'm a vegetarian! I love exploring their menu and I genuinely feel like you can't go wrong here. Living here wouldn't be the same without Manousheh and it was genuinely one of the places I looked forward to going back no matter how many times I went.
What a gem, very nice prices and fresh quality foods available. Toilets are clean and they sell spices. There are loads of vegetarian options, and the zaatar I had was amazing. When food tastes good without cheese or meat then you know they can make good food. Highly recommended. The 4.6 is not the correct rating but what can google do.
Manousheh Grand is easily one of the best spots in NYC for manaeesh. The moment you take a bite you can tell they’ve mastered it. The dough is soft, fresh, and full of flavor, and the fillings are delicious and perfectly balanced. Honestly some of the best manaeesh I’ve ever had — juicy, satisfying, and exactly how it should be. I also tried the mezze sampler with fatteh, msabaha, and foul along with the vegetable plate. They were decent and hit the spot, but the real star here is definitely the manaeesh. If you’re coming for the first time, make that your priority. It’s absolutely worth it. Overall, great experience and I’ll definitely be back for the manaeesh.
The taste combinations here work so well together. My experiences with their dishes have been positive and the amounts are just right. Every dish was notably delicious. Staff members make remarkable efforts to please customers. Every element deserved recognition.
Love a taste of Beirut, in NYC. All the other middle eastern restaurants are either Palestinian, Egyptian, or Iraqi. The manousheh here tastes just like Beirut. I got the Akkawi cheese manousheh and it was too good that I forgot to take a picture of it. The la7em Ajin is on point! The Nutella spread is so YUMMY.
Wow wow wow Wow. Accidentally found this spot and then proceeded to eat breakfast here basically every day for a month. The staff are insanely kind like, “treat you like royalty” kind. Always smiling, always making me feel welcome. Also, the food is actually healthy and delicious. My go to is the breakfast plate with a side of chicken, and it never missed. The Arabic music playing in the background just sets the vibeee.. And the pita… they bake it super hot so it comes out fresh, warm, and ridiculously good. The whole place has immaculate energy. love love love. Will miss this spot
We had delicious manousheh here. Everything we had was fantastic, but I most enjoyed the jibneh. There’s plenty of seating and people are friendly. The prices are also great - less than $70 for a filling meal for four. All the meat is halal but the sujuk one is cooked in red wine (indicated on the menu).
We were looking for a place to stop by for a quick lunch in Lower East Side and stumbled upon this gem! I got the chicken wrap + beef/lamb both of which were quite good! The meat was flavorful and tender. The portions were also quite generous. I would definitely come back to try more of their selection!
We were heading to Trader Joe’s on a rainy day to do some grocery shopping, but we hadn’t eaten yet and didn’t want to shop hungry, so we stopped into Manousheh Grand to check them out & now they are our new favorite eatery. We ordered a zaatar & jibneh manousheh which is like a flatbread - but tastes so much better than a flatbread - bc the dough is more delicate and becomes one with the toppings. Ahh, the toppings. The zaatar was such a perfect blend and you get your choice of cheeses, we chose akkawi, which had a briny wonderful flavor that went so well with the sesame seeds and thyme. For dessert, we got ashta, which is a clotted cream they make in house with orange blossom water and rosewater with honey and a maamoul/cahk cookie with a walnut filling and powdered sugar on top, which was my dad’s favorite type of cookie and I almost cried when I took a bite into it, bc I was wishing I could bring him some to try. The ashta was my son’s favorite and had such a delicious consistency. We can’t wait to go back and try so many of their other savory and sweet treats. Oh, I forgot to mention, there was plenty of seating, the restaurant was very clean, and even though they had a steady stream of customers, they were on top of it, and everyone was super friendly.
Outstanding. Wow. Some of the best I've had and reminded me of my family meals and breakfasts at home. A must try if you love Arabic food. The photos don't do this restaurant justice. Highly recommend the hummus fatteh (favorite dish we ordered), mutabbal, the foul with a side of pickles, Arabic coffee and knafeh, and the tabbouleh.
What can I say, this place is great! I have no complaints. The interior is bright and nice. The outdoor seating is cute and clean. I had the chicken manousheh and it was phenomenal. It’s some sort of wholesome wrap. I also got this interesting hummus where the chick peas aren’t smashed and they come whole! I got free roasted assortment of peanuts on the side as well. Everything was really flavorful and delicious. Try their 961 beer too it was a perfect drink before the meal. The service is off the chain as well and the young female working there is very kind and accommodating. I would highly recommend this spot for lunch or dinner. Thanks y’all!
Maestro Pasta is such a cute place. Very small with moderately limited seating, but I was able to walk right in and get a table for 2 at 7pm on a Saturday with no wait. It was so neat to see the pasta being made right in front of you, and the atmosphere is so great. The service was amazing, VERY quick to deliver the meal and drinks, and very friendly. I got an espresso martini which was very delicious (just note, it is more on the expensive side, almost the same price as my meal) but it was amazing. Unfortunately, I felt like my food (Bolognese with fettuccine noodles) was lacking. The portion size was great, definitely MORE than enough food for me (enough for 2 meals), but the taste was not was I was expecting. It was quite bland and underwhelming compared to the environment. Overall, this was a good place to visit and I had a good experience, I just wish my food was a bit more flavorful.
We were hungry and thirsty while walking down this street, and decided to eat here. Definitely worth it. They hand made their pasta in front of our eyes, and the sauces were creamy, flavorful, and great portions as well. The place is small, but looked like you stepped into a little bit of Italy. Waiters were incredibly friendly and nice, and served with efficiency. Would come here again, definitely worth it.
Fried Artichoke hearts was a great starter and the garlic aioli was great. Tiramisu was surprisingly dry but not the worst, not enough coffee flavor. Tartufo with fettuccine was the best pasta dish, Anolini Pasticciati filling was flavorless but the sauce was good. Tartufo focaccia was super filling and tasted great but it was really heavy, I didn’t expect so much cheese and sauce. Atmosphere was amazing, food was good, service was all right.
Came here because heard of rave reviews. I don't know if we just ordered wrong but we ordered a manousheh and was expecting a flatbread but got a wrap instead. Still, the flavors were really good. You can tell they use fresh ingredients. The mezzes were also good, 3 for $25 is a good deal especially since the portions were huge. The pita bread was fresh out of the oven and was probably my favorite. For 2 people, 3 mezzes and one of the wrap is plenty. I'll come back and try the actual flatbread next time.
Its a charming bakery with a warm and welcoming staff that truly makes you feel at home. They are very attentive and accommodating to their customers, always greeting them with a smile and being very helpful. However, the prices are quite expensive for the portions served, making it not the best choice for a budget-friendly meal. Additionally, while we were eating, flies went into the store, which was quite bothersome and negatively impacted our dining experience. Despite this, the quality of the food was excellent and full of flavor. Overall, while my experience at Manousheh Grand was generally enjoyable, the high prices and flies detracted from the experience. Nonetheless, I would still recommend it for those seeking a delicious Lebanese-style breakfast or brunch, as well as for the welcoming staff who truly make customers feel appreciated."
Food leaves a lot to be desired. Tabouleh salad is meant to have a great lemon flavor which mine did not. The manoush are baked on fresh bread, and all the bread are delicious. The zaatar (thyme/sesame)& laham biajeen (meat) and Muhamara didn't taste great. Muhamara especially should have a slight crunch to it since it has walnuts in it. This was so puréed that it was almost like eating red pepper paste on bread, which isn't very desirable as it was mushy. The manoush gibneh (cheese) was the best one. My friend also ordered the hummus fatteh which I tried. It was very light and soupy rather than a thicker dip as it should be. Flavor was also light as a result. To be honest, growing up in a Lebanese household and visiting Lebanon & Beirut in the past, these flavors are not representative of Lebanese fare. This feels more Jordanian or mixed and isn't as pleasing with the flavors. Definitely consider another place for authentic Lebanese flavors. This ain't it.
