This place really delivers on both food and vibe. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by the sight of fresh pasta being made right in front of you — the guy working the pasta machine is actually the same one you’ll see in a bunch of their Google photos and videos on Google maps reviews. It’s a fun, unique touch that sets the tone right away. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and cozy with string lights that add a nice glow. The service was genuinely great — super friendly staff who made the whole experience feel welcoming. Now for the coolest part: some of the seats are actually swings. Yep, actual swings hanging from the ceiling. It’s a really fun idea, but heads up — if you want to sit on those, definitely make a reservation. We didn’t, so we ended up at a regular table (still comfy though). As for the food: excellent across the board. The Bolognese was a standout, but honestly, every pasta we tried — red sauces, white sauces, different noodle types — was on point. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Would happily go back — just with a reservation next time so we can snag those swing seats.

Got the Cacio e Pepe and it was unreal :) super creamy, perfectly al dente, exactly how I love it. The focaccia was fluffy inside, crispy outside, totally addictive. Chill vibe, friendly service… honestly, can’t wait to go back.

I just had a fantastic dining experience with my husband and our adult daughter at Maestro! Alessandro and his team are terrific - they all made us feel so welcome. The food is delicious - we could see our pastas cut just before serving (which is special and unique) and exactly as we requested. The portions are generous and the wines were great. The atmosphere is great - beautifully decorated with an energetic feel yet still easy to talk and hear just our table. We loved Maestro so much that we are now planning some private parties there. Maestro Pasta is a true gem!

We were in New York for two days and decided to visit this restaurant. Everything was very delicious. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the service was excellent. Even though we were a large group, everything was well organized and attentive. The owner personally took great care of us, which made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming, like home. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back.

My son and I walked into Maestro Pasta for a quick bite with no expectations and we were very pleasantly surprised when we were promptly seated at the bar and taken care of in a warm friendly atmosphere like we eat there every night. The surprise of this restaurant is that it is in a very touristy neighborhood, yet it has the feeling like a restaurant you could eat at regularly and always be satisfied/delighted with your food. We had such a nice experience. The menu was full of pleasant surprises and yummy choices. The service was friendly, available, pleasant, and proud of the beautiful food that they were making and serving. I look forward to going back and taking my GF, starting with the artichoke appetizer as a nice prelude to the homemade pasta.

Simply excellent! I got the Pav Bhaji (extra Pav of course!) and Aam Panna. It’s medium spicy to taste with perfect balance of spices! I would ask for extra butter next time and also the bread to be a little less toasted. I like it a little softer. Ralin was amazing! Great customer service and the ambiance was warm! A great place for some great food. Open late which is always a plus. Food is fresh. Love the box it comes with. Got the samosa chaat and saag Chana. Both were great. Got roti and rice with pickled onions. Also came with daal but not sure why I didn’t like this daal. Seemed watered down but it came with it so I wasn’t bothered. Definitely the saag Chana was a hit. We got thumbs up soda which is an indian coke and the best mango lassi in nyc. Thick and sweet n tasty. I will say all the sauces were fantastic. The vada paav sandwich came with 2. The bread toasted and vegetarian potato patties were outstanding. Get the sauces and pour it on. Epic food. The spicy paneer bhurji roll outstanding. Tasty with the fresh green sauce. The Kathi bread phenomenal. Every is made to order and quality. Every ingredient and texture is tasted. The shrimp tikka masala box 10 out of 10. I ordered with the bread roll, rice and onions. Huge portions here. The shrimp fresh and sauce was buttery n sweet. The chicken seekh kebab was outrageous in every good way. Huge, fresh and flavorful. I saw them making it in the back. That came with a light green sauce rice and bread too. Yummy. So much heart and quality in every bite. Will definitely be ordering to go and or deliver but I’d come in again. They are open late. Ten out of ten! Not greasy or salty. Just perfect.

Been wanting to try some quick bites here for a while now. Finally had the chance! Easy self serve kiosk to order your food. Got the vada pav and tandoori mushroom roll. Amazing spice mix in the roll, felt like I was back in Mumbai! The vada pav was just like any other Indian takeout. They also gave us soda on the house for making us wait longer than usual! I’d say spice levels are mediocre (even “spicy”), for someone with a decent heat tolerance. Price point is great for the quality and quantity. Def recommend the roll and I’ll be back to try the paneer/dal combo.

We started with a Mango Lassi and Aam Panna, and both were incredibly refreshing. The keema pav was rich and satisfying, and the achari kati roll packed bold, tangy flavor in every bite. Definitely a standout! We also tried the Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was amazing — the chicken was super tender, and the curry was creamy, rich, and perfectly spiced. The biryani — absolutely mind-blowing! Perfectly spiced, aromatic, and blended beautifully. Finding good biryani is tough, but this place nailed it. Highly recommend if you’re in the area — come hungry!

Tried the Paneer Bhurji combo platter, which came with dal, rice, and paratha—though the paratha was flour-based rather than wheat-based, which is the norm at most other restaurants. The chaat papdi appetizer didn’t look too appealing, so we skipped it. We also ordered the Paneer Tikka Roll, which was more like a Kathi roll, and tasted very good. The Paneer burjhi was on the sweet side owing to cream used in its preparation. Overall, the food was good, not very different compare to other restaurants except for the yellow dal, which tasted quite good.

An impeccable experience from start to finish! Ever since moving to New York, myself and my husband needed to find a Desi place that hit the spot! This was in! From the starters to mains to the sweet dessert and the mango lassi…WOW! The taste, the spices…unbelievable! The food is so full of flavour and so wholesome, it truly was a journey throughout the meal and we were absolutely blown away! The service was incredible and the place is so lovely with great music and it truly feels like you’re in a different world. This is a very special place and somewhere we will be visiting a lot!

Maestro Pasta is such a cute place. Very small with moderately limited seating, but I was able to walk right in and get a table for 2 at 7pm on a Saturday with no wait. It was so neat to see the pasta being made right in front of you, and the atmosphere is so great. The service was amazing, VERY quick to deliver the meal and drinks, and very friendly. I got an espresso martini which was very delicious (just note, it is more on the expensive side, almost the same price as my meal) but it was amazing. Unfortunately, I felt like my food (Bolognese with fettuccine noodles) was lacking. The portion size was great, definitely MORE than enough food for me (enough for 2 meals), but the taste was not was I was expecting. It was quite bland and underwhelming compared to the environment. Overall, this was a good place to visit and I had a good experience, I just wish my food was a bit more flavorful.
