Although I was looking to book the private room, because I had a large party, it was unavailable so I started my birthday celebrations here with dinner and drinks. I really appreciated the friendliness, flexibility and attentiveness of the staff! My guest was raving about the food and how excellent it was. And inside is nice and chic! They transition from dinner to late night when the DJ starts. We were there only a bit when the DJ started but he was already putting in great vibes. If you’re thinking about coming here or throwing a party here, do not hesitate! Overall great experience. I will definitely be back for my next party or even a night out!

Long overdue review but I had my 25th birthday party at Ms Yoo's in July and it was the best time ever! Many of my friends complimented the house DJ (you can choose to play your own music too) and the bartenders were so kind. Rob was a pleasure to work with and the whole process was super smooth. Very accommodating to my group size and requests. Planning a large birthday in NYC can be stressful, but this was anything but. I would totally come back here for another event. Thank you again, Rob!

I love this place! I live so close and it's where i go to unwind after work during happy hours or weekend nights. The bartenders are amazing always! They are so fun and cute! The staff itself are all amazing! The food is delish! I enjoy it everytime along with their signature happy hours drinks! The DJs are amazing too! They play all the good stuff and it hypes myself and others up so much! I always leave with my feet tired from all the dancing! Definitely check it out!!!!

I recently celebrated my birthday at Ms. Yoo with about 100 guests, and I could not have chosen a better venue. From start to finish, the experience was amazing. Rob, the owner, truly cared about making my birthday the best it could be and even connected me with vendors, including a photobooth, and printed our a specialty cocktail menu that made the night extra special. The staff were equally incredible—bartenders and bar backs who were attentive, pleasant, and on point the entire night. With a group that large, service can sometimes be a challenge, but they handled everything smoothly and made my guests feel taken care of. The venue itself is stunning and in a great location. The sound system was top notch, the drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere had just the right balance of elegance and fun. All of my guests had a wonderful time and kept telling me how much they loved the space. I also appreciate that Ms. Yoo is Filipino-owned, which made supporting this business even more meaningful to me. This was such a memorable celebration, and I’m already looking forward to hosting more events here in the future.

I had the BEST birthday party at Ms. Yoo! Working with Rob was so easy, and everyone had a blast. We got compliments on the drinks and DJ all night, and everyone enjoyed the privacy of the upstairs area. We had between 50-60 guests, and the area felt full enough but not too crowded (could easily hold 30 more). Our party was 2005 themed, and the DJ understood the assignment. I could not recommend this place more for a private party!

The owner, Rob, is lovely to work with — communicative, flexible, and professional. I had many requests, and both Rob and Karl exceeded every expectation. The private space had a killer sound system and the drinks were perfect. My guests raved about the night afterward; some even said they want to host their own events at the venue. Thank you to the entire team at Ms. Yoo for going over and beyond to make my 25th so special!

I booked this spot for my fiance's 30's birthday celebration based on a friend's recommendation. We were able to get a semi-private corner area with tables that included a drink minimum. We were also allowed to bring our own decorations and got a drink re-named for the birthday girl. Our group had a wonderful time and the staff and bartenders were also all very friendly. Rob was a gracious host and very easy to communicate/coordinate with. 100% would host another event at Ms. Yoo.

I had my wife’s 30th birthday party at Ms Yoo this past weekend. I knew from the reviews that it was going to be a good time, but it even exceeded my expectations. I booked the private room upstairs and it was the perfect space. Our friends and family were complimenting on how gorgeous the venue was, about the food and drinks, the service, and the vibe all night long. It was such an amazing time! Rob was an absolute pleasure to communicate with. We already cannot wait to go back.

Hosted a birthday party at Ms. Yoo just recently - team was incredibly easy to work with and accommodated us nicely. Rob made sure everything was set up for the group to have fun, including a DJ and two amazing bartenders (shoutout to Ruth). Would definitely recommend the spot for larger parties looking to have a dance-y night on the Lower East Side!

This was an interesting spot to come for dinner at 8pm on a Saturday night - we started off with some pretty stiff but tasty gin cocktails and were waiting for our food when the staff started clearing most of the tables for a dancefloor. We were the only ones still eating but we weren’t too bothered. The volcano fried rice was delicious, as was the spam grilled cheese. Pork belly buns and KFC were good but classic flavors imo. Overall fun and slightly eccentric vibes!

I've had Ms. Yoo on my list for a while so was super excited to try! We came here at 6pm on a Friday and I was a bit surprised it was quite empty. When we got there, we were the only patrons there and during our time, 2 other parties came. Perhaps it has more of a late night crowd? The service was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and kind. There was also a live DJ at the bar We arrived in time for happy hour and we thought overall the HH was a great deal. For food we got: - Yoo loaded fries: good! - Kpop chicken sliders: the sauce was sooooo good. The chicken pieces were quite thick! - Tteok n cheese (I think large?): It was good but I probably wouldn't order it again. seems a bit over priced, even at HH prices - Volcano kimchi fried rice: quite the table side show. It was good (but is it worth $17?) For drinks we got (I am not quite certain of this list): stairway to heaven, Winter sonanta, booze over flowers, the naked rage. Regardless of what exactly we got, we loved them all! I'm really glad I tried Ms. Yoo and I would recommend them for the HH

This cute little spot had been on my list for a while—came mainly because of Esther Choi. Unfortunately, the food just didn’t live up to the hype. We ordered the large tteok n cheese, their take on mac and cheese with tteokbokki. Honestly, it was a letdown. The tteok was undercooked, still hard instead of soft and chewy—and the flavor was pretty bland. We also got the taro fries, which were solid. The sauce they came with was actually really good. While the food overall didn’t hit, the drinks definitely made up for it. And shoutout to Karl, he was such a vibe and made the experience way more fun.

Better Food Better Mood

Drinks were pretty but mid, and the tteok and cheese was solid but very catered towards the american palate. We also got the burger and fries which were tasty (fries was perfect) but they were all nothing special. The space was also a lot smaller and less decorated than the pictures make them out to be. Service was very nice though, the lady was sweet about everything and also gave a free soju shot for our wait. But overall it’s the type of place you’ll visit just once but that’s it. (Also to whoever was remixing the songs, I’m sorry but the music was awful… It was funny though 😂😂)

We came in earlier on the Friday night, so it wasn’t part of the usual party scene. things were going along well until we realize the bartender charged us for complementary shots that they kept bringing over (unprompted by our party). They brought two rounds of Yuzu shots and another round of tequila shots, and claimed that one of our party members, who recently gave birth and was not drinking that much because she breast-feeds, ordered them.
