Ordered delivery take out on a drizzly evening and it arrived fast and perfectly packed. Very good chicken parm and the spicy rotini is super. Will do this again!
Just took the Thanksgiving Hero sandwich to go and it was so delicious! Also the staff was super nice. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of it before scarfing it, but will definitely return! :)
We had an amazing experience and Peter gave us excellent service. Definitely coming back on our next trip!
What a great little place! I loved the 50s style and feel at the restaurant. The musicians played also set the mood with Italian classic songs. Now, the best part.....the food!!!! The Rigatoni Carbone in vodka sauce was so delicious, with a hint of red pepper flake. Just the right portions, too. The crispy zucchini appetizer was awesome. Crunchy outside batter and soft yummy zucchini on the inside. The wait staff here was also on point here, ensuring we were well taken care of. I can't wait to come back and try some of their other dishes.
Consistent quality food. Haven’t raised prices in 5+ years despite inflation. And they got a slickdeal happy hour menu. I actually don’t like cheese so my fave items here are 1) Turkey hero and 2) shrimp scampi. As for the roast beef hero, it’s a hit or miss. Sometimes it’s perfectly medium rare, freshly sliced. Other days, it’s super salty and overcooked. When they make it right, it’s my #1 item there.
Lovely for a group. Easygoing vibe, nice drinks and delicious food. Great appetizers; I especially loved the zucchini chips. It’s nice that you can get the rigatoni carbone here too! I’m a rube but I actually don’t think this place is overrated.
Unassuming restaurant with delicious food. Highly recommend the ziti, chicken parm, and rigatoni. Garlic bread starter was also very good. Slightly expensive.
Fabulous experience! Portions are a great size. The cider was apt and not too cold! We are tropical weather humans and anything cold is really brrrr..!! But this cider at Parm's was.just right. Our great experience right from there! Wait staff lady was superb, perfect fries..both the normal Parm variety as well as the vegetarian fries for my wife. Then, we tried the garlic knots, Vodka pasta, roast beef heroe (is it a gyro? Must be a NY thing..first time I heard of or saw a "heroe"...yes, that spelling..), a small cup of brewed coffee and "Mario's Cannolis" (an order is 3 to a plate) -- all these were great tasting, good sizeable portions and freshly whipped up. Will definitely visit again!!
Pleasantly surprised food was pretty awesome The mozzarella parm bread was really good. Had the single cut IPA was a nice beer. I would return next time in NYC.
it’s hard to eat italian american food with high standards but you will not be disappointed here. probably one of the best eggplant parms i’ve ever had with layers of cheese to compliment the tang and saltiness of tomato and eggplant. it was a perfect dish. the apps are perfect as well and service was pretty damn good. can’t wait to come back!! looks like it’s always accommodating and ready to seat big parties
This restaurant experience was surprisingly different from reviews. This spot demonstrates exceptional quality. This restaurant creates loyal customers. The kitchen delivers dishes of remarkable refinement. I can confirm this place offers tasty meals in comfortable surroundings.
Great food for pretty reasonable prices considering it’s located around the WTC. Destiny (hostess) and Jose (manager) went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and cared for. Excellent service and great initiative from both of them - they deserve a raise so someone who has the power should make note of that.
Devin at Parm saved my dinner!! Doordash was ridiculous and I had to wait over 2+ hours, which eventually ended in Doordash never assigning a driver and cancelling the order as the restaurant closed. Luckily I was refunded, but Devin called me and went above and beyond to make sure the food was still delivered to me. She even had the food freshly made so that we wouldn’t receive food that was out for 2 hours. Can’t thank her enough for her helpfulness and making sure we were able to get our food.
Really enjoyed our visit to Parm. We were seated straight away at a spacious booth. The atmosphere was good and the servers were very friendly. Lots of TVs showing sports which was a nice bonus for us. We both had the Parm dinner and it was absolutely delicious! Came out promptly and was nice and hot. Bit of a wait to get the bill but that was apologised for. Great place, highly recommended!
Amazing restaurant, went to San Gennaro on 9/13 and was highly disappointed with the restaurant we chose. That’s when we searched for another restaurant and luckily found you folks. Walking in was very inviting and the restaurant was very clean, immediately greeted and sat at a table of our choice not where the hostess decided which I love as I’m selective about where I sit. Food, service, presentation was 10+, highly impressed with the quality and plate presentation!!! Your meatballs and fresh pasta are right on!!! Had the pleasure of meeting your manager Jose, he was a perfect gentleman and so engaging- great food, great people and a beautiful clean restaurant made our day!!! Fast forward to 9/20, my wife and I had to go back- mind you we live in Eastern Long Island and the drive is approximately 90 minutes + depending on traffic but that’s how wowed we are with this restaurant. Jose again was amazing, remembered us right away and gave unbelievable hospitality!!! I can’t thank this team enough for everything they do and the attention to serving high quality food. If this review lands in the hands of ownership I would highly consider exploring expansion into the Long Island market, restaurants here are thriving more than ever and your concept would fit in perfectly especially in the right demographic. Jose- thanks for everything and we will be back soon!!!!!
I have to say wow. I'm not sure if it's because I came on an empty stomach after an energizing event but man this place was outstanding. Between the flavors and the sangria amazing. I had the eggplant parm, which I highly recommend, with the spicy rotini. I believe the spicy rotini was exceptional because I've been to Carbone and everyone loves their spicy rigatoni vodka dish and this was so smiliar maybe even better. I read a review that said to come here if you can't get a reservation to Carbone and I highly agree. Don't waste your time at Carbone look no further this is the spot. Also try the garlic bread and crispy zucchini which came with two sauces that were to die for. I can't wait to come back. Enjoy!!!
Was weary about the happy hour here given some Yelp reviews but my friends and I had a great time! Note that happy hour is only available at the bar area - which obviously will be a bit busy and loud. We loved the food - great pizza knots, fried zucchini, and pesto arancini from the HH menu. We also got the rigatoni carbone and enjoyed it. Ethan was the bartender and he was super friendly -- he definitely works his butt off!! Props to him! Only giving a 3 for atmosphere as again you'd need to shout during Happy Hour and it was quite hot indoors.
We had planned to go to PJ's but the wait was 1 1/2 hours for lunch. We decided to try elsewhere and we're so glad we did! The service was excellent. The food was delicious. I had a huge and very different Arugula & Fig salad. The iced tea was super good. No wait fresh and delicious food in a relaxed and lovely restaurant.
Had a great experience at Parm Battery Park. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect for a casual night out. Everything came out quickly and tasted amazing. Definitely will be back!
The Cesar salad and chick parm sandwich was delicious! Even the cannolis were really good. We did the lunch special which is $25 for choice of salad, sandwiches and dessert. This was plenty of food for one person and probably could have shared some of it. The staff was so kind. Definitely want to come back to the restaurant!
Great for groups or just for one. Nice atmosphere, good location. Delicious food at reasonable NYC prices. Shared a lunch special with a single entree add on. Folks here recommended a parm sandwich and the pasta. Spot on!!!!
Such a lovely experience!! My friend and I were looking for a yummy dinner and are so glad we picked Parm. Peter was AMAZING!!! So friendly and fun to talk to, and provided amazing service. The food was delicious, highly recommend the crispy zucchini and you can never go wrong with any of the pastas! Will definitely be requesting Peter when we go back <3
Love this place! The food is always delicious, the staff is friendly, and the drinks are good! What more do you need? They have a great family style special that is perfect for 3-4 people. Highly recommend checking them out. In the photo we ordered the chicken parm with a side Cesar salad, and the Rigatoni Carbone. This was perfect for two ppl and we even took left overs home!
A nice discovery while visiting the area around One World Trade Center. Nice welcoming atmosphere with an Italian vibe from the past that was complemented with music from Dean Martin, Chuck Berry, Bobby Darin and others from that era. Our server was welcoming, attentive and courteous. The whole staff was welcoming and professional. The food was delicious, well prepared and well presented. The fried calamari was exquisite, a bit spicy which made it even better. My entree was the traditional spaghetti and meatballs which didn't disappoint. My wife and I truly enjoyed the experience.
We went there for dinner on a Saturday night. The place was busy but we were able to get a table without a reservation. The food and service were very good as well as the atmosphere. Our orders were delivered really quickly despite a big party getting served at the same time. The menu is a bit limited but the food tasted really good.
We had chicken parm, eggplant parm, kids pasta and a glass of draught beer. Good service, tasty food and courteous staff. Only turn off is that tables are kept unattended for long durations after the customers leave.
Service was a bit slow but our server was very nice. We had the fried zucchini , Caesar salad and the rigatoni. They were all great but the zucchini was the stand out. Brooklyn Cider capped off the meal. The dining room was bright and sunny. We enjoyed our meal here. The tab was $65 which we thought was great considering the generous portions.
Great place! Popped in for lunch and we had the rigatoni and the spaghetti and meatballs. The atmosphere is fun kind of like an old fashioned diner but it is very loud. The rigatoni was absolutely amazing and so were the meatballs. Would recommend getting them as an appetizer though and not the spaghetti and meatballs dish as it was subpar. Staff friendly and very reasonably priced!!
Nice place to grab a bite. Big inside with only a few tables outside. The music inside was a bit too loud so opted to sit outside on a nice day. The fried zucchini was a bit too salty. The pasta and chicken was pretty good.
Just what I needed to tackle a late night Italian craving. Great location with the indoor atmosphere to compliment. Not the biggest selection to choose from on the menu, but plenty of Italian favorites. We came in just before close and still received excellent service. All in all, a great experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
I had a chicken hero Parm with fries on the side. As you can see, the portions are huge! Loads of cheese in the sandwich (perhaps too much) it was all very tasty as it looks but just a bit too much for me. Chicken seemed good quality which makes a nice change from your typical sandwich place! Servers were all friendly and would definitely go again.
Many post-work event group-like crowd Beware the place can get very loud! If you want a quiet spot, I would say avoid this place and fear not. Yes, the food might drag you here, but there are only a few alternatives which got me to tear. But if you are into deep fried anything, pasta and cheese, this is the place for you not to miss.
The service was great. I got the chicken parm, and my husband got the meatballs it came with a spicy pasta salad chicken was alittle overcooked for my liking my husband had the meatballs he enjoyed them we also ordered the knots for an appetizer and added a side salad our total came out to about $80 our waiter was very attentive plenty of seating with no wait time
I was there with my friend and decided to dine here. We tried their famous pink sauce pasta -Rigatoni Carbone and garlic bread. Pasta - it was good, as per the expectations... The garlic bread was one of the best we have tried so far. It was warm and crispy. Had sesame seeds on top which added a nice taste. Service was quick and courteous. Ambiance was cool
Upscale bright Italian Diner with great service. Limited but good wine selection. We had the bottles of Pinot and Cab. Able to nicely take care of the large group. Appetizers were great. Lovely the crispy zucchini with a light crispy batter. Main course was a bit overcooked and the Marinara base could be flavorful. The request for risotto was more like a Polenta. Meatballs could be softer and juicier.
This place is amazing for families the waiters are very hospitable the food is great i recommend the mozzarella sticks but the cesar salad is super garlicy that it numbs your tounge and hurts your stomach i recommend they change the recipe as the rest of there dishes are amazing . The baked ziti is good also the spagetti with tomato sause from the kids menu is good. We came here 2 times the first visit was amazing the second the waiter gave our dessert to the table next to us and we kept waitting for it then we complained then he lied about it being burned in the kitchen and they had to make a new one that took half an hour of our time!!! Although he removed it from our check we where bothered about lying to us, always be truthful no mater what.
We went a day before the marathon which probably wasn't the best idea even though we had a reservation. It was incredibly busy and chaotic. They were also short staffed. However, once we were seated, we had the ever so lovely and charming Peter ❤️ who was a sweetheart! He looked after us, gave recommendations and was attentive. If it wasn't for him, it may have been a disaster 😕 The spicy rigatoni is that girl, packing flavour, a good portion and reasonable price point👌🏾 😋 A good sister branch if you can't get to the main Carbone.
The Spicy Rigatoni at Parm is one of the best I've had. It's super creamy, flavorful and rich They have some nice appetizers too, in the form of fried zucchini and their famour garlic bread This is my second time visiting Parm after 2 years, at a different location, and the taste is still the same! Absolutely recommend and definitely a must try
The spicy rigatoni lives up to the hype, and the chicken parm is better than average though not spectacular. While its not the best in the city, the nice atmosphere and large seating area makes it a great stop. Our server took a long time to bring us the check, so we sort of had to chase him down. Other than that i like the interior decor and convenient location.
First visit to this location after having had dinner at the upper West side location. I found this one to be much more relaxing and less chaotic than the upper west side location. We had a very pleasant and helpful server and everyone enjoyed their dinners. The garlic bread was tasty And the Caesar salad was good. I had the eggplant Parmesan platter with some pasta on the side and it was quite good. The room is large and it seemed to get busy a little bit later in the evening around 730 to 8 PM. This is a true casual dining restaurant, nothing phenomenal, so if you go in with that expectation, you will be pleased.
We sat at the bar because we was waiting for others. Pizza and cheese sticks took 30 minutes. I think the guy forgot to put the order in. There was nats at the bar and our table, not alot but 3 is to many. Didn't know happy hour is only at the bar. I guess that don't want to tell you so they can make that extra money.
Get a chance to visit for lunch. Based on the affiliation with Carbone I expected them to have an outstanding pasta. Not the case. Typical American pseudo-Italian pasta. The source was watery and had artificial tasta like being bought in the supermarket. I live and work in the area and will keep going to the different place for pasta. The place is cute and the service is great. See my picture and assess if you would pay more than $20 for this
We stopped in for dinner on a Monday night, and each got different options of the chicken Parm, pasta and salads with some appetizers. I've not experienced such a wait before with any other restaurants in the area, but we had to wait an hour for our food. The staff told us that there was another table who ordered the same order so the kitchen got confused. I would prefer they just own the mistake, or let us know before we had to ask about it. Overall the food was fine, nothing special. I have been several times for their happy hour however, which is great value and the appetizers are great.
June 6th, 7 pm Manager created a line inside of the restaurant. Host not checking if guests have reservations or not. Restaurant is empty inside. People who skipped the line and talk to the host/ or manager got seated faster/ first. Just very weird experience Host is the 1st point of contact in the restaurant and this location just didn’t perform well.
I’ve ordered the eggplant parm and chicken parm before and they were delicious. The spicy rotini is a must get side. Avoid the cannoli… waste of money, probably the most bland unflavored thing I’ve ever eaten.
Overhyped and underwhelming. The service was poor especially considering that the restaurant was not busy when we were there. The garlic bread and mozzarella were amazing, but the rigatoni carbone was very disappointing. If you consider yourself a spicy vodka pasta lover, I would skip this one. It is way too onion forward and almost too creamy. The pasta was slightly overcooked as well. I would possibly get takeout from here again to try other items on the menu but I definitely wouldn't dine in again.
I love Italian food, so I was excited to try this place out and excited there wasn't a wait. However I was disappointed with the garlic bread, super oily and for 8 bucks I would have expected a little more bread maybe? Then my pasta came out, apparently the pink sauce is spicy. Maybe I missed that on the menu but I've literally never had spicy pink sauce at any Italian restaurant be it here or in Italy where it's obviously authentic. Plus it was oily. Long story short, my stomach hurt after eating it. If you're going to go out for Italian food and spend that money, you're better off going somewhere else. On a positive note though everyone that worked here was super friendly.
Came here on a Saturday evening! We got a table for 4 pretty quickly. That was the end of good things. Firstly just to get us water it took them 15mins. Then they got us Garlic Bread but there were no forks on the table. Another 15mins gone to get us forks. Wait, now there was a missing knife. Then the food came after a wait. Refilling water took another 15mins. The food was very ordinary nothing great!! The slow and lethargic service made things worse. Definitely not recommended!!
This place has much potential and is in a beautiful area in Manhattan. However, whoever’s behind the kitchen needs to do a better job, especially with Italian food. I ordered the chicken Parm hero ahead of time so I could pick it up at a certain time. The girl who took my order was a sweetheart and she was great. However, whoever prepared my chicken Parmesan hero with vodka sauce only put 3 tablespoons of sauce, which left me unsatisfied because I love chicken Parm. I was driving the M22 bus and only had 10 minutes to devour the sandwich. This left me upset because it would’ve been enough time to enjoy it instead of examining why there was so little sauce, especially when I paid $22 for it. Whoever packed the order didn’t put any napkins or at least include some sauce on the side. Most pizzerias do this when you order a chicken Parm to avoid the sauce making the bread soggy. I could’ve given them a five-star rating because the atmosphere was beautiful, but whoever was behind the kitchen didn’t think it was necessary to put the right amount of sauce, which we Italians look forward to. I hope management takes note of this.
Pasta was good overall Shrimp cream pasta was tasty but watery sauce Fried zucchini was yummy but unbelievably salty Ambiance was strange and not very inviting; it was dim inside and strangely decorated with green highlights everywhere, and the booth seating near the windows blocked out a lot of the natural light
Has a corporate feeling. Portion size was a bit small for pricing. Good vibe for happy hour. Would suggest going to Parm Mulburry street for bigger portion sizes and more personable environment.
I walked in because I was hungry. I got the pasta bolognese with a side salad. The side salads are listed at $8, but if you order the Caesar they let you know it’s $11. It arrived promptly. Pasta noodle was undercooked, bolognese was grainy. Cones with a random huge glop of cream in the center maybe to cut down costs. Salad was soggy and underwhelming…and also grainy? For the price point I would expect more. I prefer FUMO for Italian, with the same price range. Would not come back here unless your child drags you in.
Honestly some of the worst Italian food I’ve ever had. We also waited 30 mins just to order then an hour for appetizers and another 45 mins for entrees just to eat the worst food I’ve had in a while. The waiter was nice but not attentive. There was also coffee grounds in my friends coffee.
Living in downtown Manhattan, I’ve passed by this location a billion times but never got an opportunity to visit, till now. Although being advertised as “Famous Italian” it’s quite a lot of Americanized Italian food. Visited on Saturday afternoon when the place was almost empty. I ordered Penne Scampi pasta and crispy zucchini. Pasta was alright but shrimps in it were like diced in 4 pieces each, it clearly showed that restaurant was trying to cut corners with display as more shrimps in it but the reality was different. Nevertheless, I’m glad I tried it once and don’t think I’m visiting again. Pros- 1. Menu was small 2. Ample of seating 3. Small portions Cons- 1. Takes longer than expected to get servers attention, every time. 2. Had to ask for check twice.
I’m honestly so disappointed with our delivery order from Parm last night. I was just at the restaurant the day before and absolutely loved the food, so I hyped it up to my whole family and unfortunately, the delivery experience was nothing like dining in. Pretty much every dish needed sauce. Everything arrived dry, under-seasoned, and just not enjoyable. It felt like a completely different restaurant. Here’s what we ordered: * Chicken Parm – Extremely dry and lacking flavor. This was the biggest letdown! Ugh! * Spaghetti & Meatballs – Probably the best of the night. The red sauce and basil were tasty, but still not great at all! * Chicken Dish (cutlet) – Tasteless and very dry! * Rotini Genovese – Creamy pesto with burrata. It was just OK, nothing special. * Mozz Sticks – Actually good! Crispy and flavorful. * Fried Calamari – Very oily and the portion was surprisingly small. * Buffalo Cucumbers – Way too greasy. * Italian Fries – Just OK. * Garlic Bread – So‑so, not memorable. * Sunday Salad – Honestly, I could make a better version at home. * Caesar Salad – Just OK. Overall, my whole family was disappointed, especially after I talked up the place so much. I’ve learned my lesson: I will never order delivery from Parm again. If I’m craving it, I’ll go to the restaurant because the dine‑in experience is clearly much better ordered the Baked Ziti at this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious! I also ate the mozzarella sticks and they were crispy on the outside and yummy soft cheese in the inside. My friend ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and was delicious too! I highly recommend this restaurant!
Instead of trying to listen to customers on the phone you just get yelled at. "HELLLOOO?! HELLLOO?!" Great customer service.
Ordered a salad for takeout and they forgot the vinaigrette.. Staff was giggling and having the time of their life when I got in. Maybe focus on doing your job correctly so you don’t mess up very simple things like a vinaigrette that goes with a salad. Also no one ever picks up the phone. MFG needs to step up their game with this location or shut it down if too busy with their other endeavors
When we first arrived the restaurant wasn’t busy. Probably about 7 tables dining. When were seated the server, Justin, was pleasant and attentive. That didn’t last long. After waiting about 10 additional minutes to order just our drinks, three other tables that were seated AFTER us received their respective appetizers. Yet, we hadn’t even ordered food for the table at the same time!!! Frustration building, Justin finally came. We ordered everything as we were not risking being ignored for another x-amount of minutes. We received our app, mozz cheese/garlic bread combo… delicious! And literally about three minutes later our ENTREES arrived!!! I was in mid chew when the runner came. He wasn’t much help either because he didn’t look like he wanted to take the food back to keep them from getting to room temp on our own table. So he dropped them off and ran away. So far, not so good to say the very least. By this time I was fully aware our server was swamped. He looked visibly in disarray so I’m sure we were not the only table who received less than sub par service. With what they charge you’d think the manager would have touched our table and made sure how we were doing. Neither the server or any of management came. As a former employee from a fine dining establishment, this was deplorable and ruined our dining experience at our very first time (and LAST) time at any PARM locations. The pic I posted alongside this review were our cocktails, just about the only thing that they did right. You’ve been warned! Go at your own risk!
There were 30+ Uber Eats workers clogging the entry, making it impossible to seat guests. Workers were handling food in the back without gloves and overall horrible experience. Would not recommend.
We waited over 2hrs for delivery. Time for delivery continued to change throughout the two hours. When calling the restaurant to get an update on delivery window they don’t pick up. NEVER order delivery from this place. We have never experienced anything so awful.
We had reservations for 6:30pm on Nov 1, 2025. This restaurant was recommended and specifically chosen so our NYC Marathon runner could consume what she needed to prior to the race (11/02/25). This restaurant was a struggling from the moment we sat down. We didn't even have enough water to fill all of the diners glasses. After 2 hours of waiting for our food, and having little service, we decided we needed to leave. The food still had not arrived by 8:30. Communication from the restaurant's management regarding the delay of our dinner was minimal, at best. We never would have wasted the 2 hours had the restaurant just been honest with us. We decided to leave without eating. As we were leaving our server advised us that our order was up next. We requested that if the marathon participants food was ready, to please pack the food to go. After another 10 minutes, 4 of the 6 orders were handed to us in a bag; the remaining two were still not ready. Did I mention that we had been there over two hours now with little to no correspondence regarding the delay??? We were then handed the bill! My husband and I are both entrepreneurs. It would have never occurred to us to charge a customer for anything when we had failed so miserably to fulfill our end of the dining experience. Granted, upon ringing up our bill the manager said to give us 15% off; however, the entire experience was a struggle from beginning to end. Two of us ended up eating from a street vendor and one of the meals was not eaten at all as that person went to bed by the time we walked home. The entire experience was quite disappointing and honestly, not money or time well spent the night before running the NYC Marathon. I doubt I will return.
Missing food, disgusting customer service, and an unprofessional manager named Octavia. This place is a joke. They failed to give me one of the two pastas I PAID FOR. I didn’t notice until I was already home, which forced me to come all the way back just to get the food they forgot to give me in the first place. Instead of apologizing and actually making it right, the manager, Octavia, treated me with pure attitude and disrespect. I explained that this had already been a terrible experience.. I paid for food I didn’t receive, had to come back after the fact, and at this point I was basically being handed leftovers, not a fresh meal. Octavia’s response was unbelievably rude and condescending. She told me I had “two options”: take the pasta I already paid for or get a refund and leave. She then tried justifying their mistake by saying “oh you ordered sides, you were fine” .. are you serious ?? No apology. No accountability. No attempt to fix THEIR mistake. Just a nasty tone like I was the inconvenience. This is not customer service. It’s lazy, hostile management. If Octavia is how this location is being run, corporate should seriously step in because this kind of behavior drives customers away. I will never return. Specifically because of Octavia. Completely unacceptable from start to finish.
Never never never order online from this Parm. $20 for rigatoni carbon, pasta and vodka sauce, that filled up 1/3 of the container. Smaller than a kids size. Criminal. Save your money unless you want to pay $20 for something you can make for less than $2. Any other take out in the city can do better.
