A must visit for everyone who comes to NYC. Typical pub food, lots of drink choices, excellent service from the staff - although they're not big fans of the Cowboys 😉🤣 For 911 history ask for their photo album.
Had a great time at O’Hara’s Pub! The Guinness was perfectly poured, the staff were quick and friendly, and the burger was awesome. Highly recommend for anyone visiting downtown Manhattan.
I absolutely loved my visit here. The bar staff are so friendly and welcoming even went out of their way to make room for me when it was crazy crowded. Yummy bar food and drinks, fun atmosphere and let me have a look at their photo book from the 9/11 tragedy 🩵 don't miss a visit here it's in the heart of the beautiful Financial District.
Wonderful Pub with an amazing First Responder atmosphere. 2 full bars and plenty of table seating.
Great Irish pub. Was full when we got there but we were seated quick enough. We got wings, salad and toasties with fries. Everything was great, the service was very nice and efficient etc. The cheese on the ham cheese toasty would never be served in an Irish pub, but it brought me back to my childhood, so was authentic in its own way, haha. I didn’t dare try a Guinness, but the other beer was good.
O’Hara’s is a classic spot. The food’s solid, the drinks are cold, and the vibe is easygoing and friendly. It’s got that true pub feel — relaxed, welcoming, and full of good energy. The staff are great, and it’s the kind of place you can hang out for hours. Perfect for grabbing a bite, a beer, and catching up with friends
This spot serves food that makes you question reality. The employees resolve issues and create a welcoming environment, surrounded by pleasant customers. The selection of dishes here is remarkable. The restaurant attracts steady crowds. This place stands out for good reasons.
I've been coming here for the past two years with my family and man it's packed every time we visit. It's an Irish pub with some good food. Come in here for a drink and you'll also get a good dose of the history of NYC. They also feature pictures of the pub right after 9/11 and it's devastating. I recommend the Shepard's pie or a burger.
This is one of the most incredible pubs I've ever been to ANYWHERE in the World not just NYC. Blocks away to the 9/11 memorial, it has thousands of patches from fire and police stations from all 50 states and other World cities. Service is top notch, as the staff is super friendly and attentive! Special thanks to Joel and Benny (Bernard) for being such amazing hosts. The atmosphere is absolutely awesome, and the bartenders give generous pours!
This authentic Irish pub has so much history yet embraces every customer, local or tourist, with warmth and a smile. It saw the before and after of the twin towers and carries the patches of firefighters like medals of honor. Fill up your your belly with a hot Irish stew and fries or a pint of stout Guinness beer and cheers!
An amazing bar and restaurant and a slice of American history. Please stop in and have a beer and try some of the great food. Ask to see the book if interested in the history of 9/11. The owner is great. Walks around chatting and making you feel at home. Definitely one of my favorites on our trip to New York
If you a looking for a cold beer and a friendly atmosphere - this is the place! I have been here a few times now and I love the pub style food. It is always easy to find someone to have a chat with if you sit at the bar.
This place is nearby to WTC, 911 memorial and other places of visit. The ambience inside was great and the staff were helpful. visited this place after a full day of sightseeing and was helped by the staff in choosing my drink option. Had Captain Lawrence and Guinness together with Sliders and onion rings. Sliders were done well and tasted awesome, coupled with great music. By the end of it, came out satisfied. Would love to be back.
Spent a couple evenings here while in town for work. Excellent staff, food / drinks and an amazing atmosphere that you can't get anywhere else. Spend some time talking with the bartenders to learn the history of this bar.
We were looking for a place to eat while walking around NYC. Searched based on reviews and went to O'Hara's. We walked in and they were absolutely packed but we were politely greeted at the door and had a table in less than 5 minutes. The service was immediately but they were so busy they had a difficult time keeping up with our drinks, no fault to the amazing place. We had the Irish nachos for an appetizer which were probably the best thing we ate! We also ordered a sausage and peppers sandwich, BLT, chicken blt and a club sandwich. The food was great and the atmosphere was even better.
Me and the ole lady were visiting from Alabama. This was on her things to do list and we were staying close by. Went in around lunch for some drinks and maybe grub. We never got to the grub part, but we ended up meeting some awesome New York Union guys and some people who work in the area, who were enjoying their time together. Ended up pulling us into more than a few rounds of shots. We got to the see "the book"... if you know, you know. But the experience here was really an awesome time on our trip that we've told many of our friends about. I'm honestly considering another visit to experience more of NYC since there is honestly so much there.
This place! We have been here a number of times with friends, always a hit, never disappoints. Atmosphere is warm and friendly, burgers are the best, big fat and cooked to order. Over all the menu is…well, Irish pub!! The beer list, tap and bottles is extensive but the Guinness pour is a show stopper, ya can’t have just one. Service is exceptional, prompt loose and friendly. For great food, exceptional beer and cocktails served cheerfully at a reasonable price by really good people…get here. The atmosphere is contemporary firehouse. Signs, patches, shirts and hats from civil servants nationwide. It isn’t a theme, it is the essence of the place! Simply outstanding.
O'Hara's Restaurant and Pub your chef knows exactly how to balance flavors in every dish. The staff's approach was the defining feature. The taste is its own best advocate. The food is well-priced with perfect serving sizes. My visit was characterized by excellence.
I hung a patch at the bar. I had a T2T had on and our server complimentwd me on it and asked about my law enforcement career. The place was busy and the entire staff was very friendly. The food was great. Great prices and portions. Awesome atmosphere.
You can tell this location takes pride in its location. They are less than a block from the former location of the trade center buildings. They have hung police and fire patches on just about every spot on the walls. When we first arrived they said it would be 10 to 15 minutes but it was only about 5 minutes. The food was good and filled a big hole I had in my stomach. I enjoyed my burger and my wife enjoyed hers as well. Even our picky son enjoyed his food. Overall this was a great place for lunch, they provided great service and great food.
This place was wonderful! It is right across the road (diagonally) from the 9/11 memorial. The food was fantastic. The atmosphere was friendly. The inside is covered in patches from first responders all over the United States and beyond. The area is small but it is definitely worth a trip. For just a drink or a meal!
If you're looking for a cozy and welcoming spot with great food and a laid-back vibe, O'Hara's Restaurant and Pub is the place to be. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm, pub-like atmosphere – it feels like you're in a friendly neighborhood hangout, but with the kind of service and quality food that you’d expect from a top-tier establishment. I started with their classic Irish soda bread, which was freshly baked and served with creamy butter – the perfect way to kick off the meal. For my main course, I went with the fish and chips, and it did not disappoint! The fish was crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, and the fries were golden and perfectly seasoned. My friend had the shepherd’s pie, and she couldn’t stop raving about how hearty and flavorful it was. The staff at O'Hara's is absolutely wonderful – our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. The pub also has a fantastic selection of beers, including a few local brews, which complemented our meal perfectly. Whether you’re looking for a casual dinner or a place to hang out with friends, O'Hara's Restaurant and Pub is a must-visit. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel right at home with delicious food and excellent service.
Historic O'Hara's. This is where 1st responders from all over the world found respite in the months following 9/11. The windows were blown our when the towers fell, but 7 months later they were back open, and welcoming those risking their lives to help. Patches and badges from 1st responders decorate the walls. It reminds you that there can be unity in this world. That people will come together for good. Great Irish fare, drinks, and good old American bar food.
Unbelievable next level NYC atmosphere & experience. Professional bartenders. 5 shots of Jameson. A Guinness. Miller Lite. Titos on The Rocks and an O'Haras T shirt to go for our newly minted 21 yr old all for $89 with tax in the heart of the Financial District. Unbeatable.
It was late and we just checked in to our hotel and looking for a place to eat. Looked at the reviews online and felt like we’d give it a shot the food looked good but i was more interested in the history of first responder badges. I was just hoping the food was good and figured it was a pub it should be. We weren’t sure if it was family friendly because we had a teen with us and wasn’t sure if it was more of a bar. They said they were family friendly. When we walked in it did feel more like a bar there were no families there but we went in anyways. The place was cute and it wasn’t rowdy. The Hockey game was playing and the badges were awesome. The waiter was an Irish guy and was really nice to my family. We asked if they had a scrapbook of 9/11 history because I read somewhere they did. He was excited to give it to us. We looked through it as we were waiting for our food which came out at a great time and the food was delicious. I will definitely stop by again if in the area!!
One of the best Irish pub in NYC. It's so cozy and relaxing. The perfect atmosphere. Service was fantastic and the food is so good. Generous portions of food at reasonable prices. O'Hara's is the kind of place you want to visit again and again. When you find yourself downtown, O'Hara's is the place to go for food and drinks.
We loved the experience- it has a great vibe and energy we were there around 530 on. Thursday and there were a ton of people drinking beers and the dining area filled fast. I had the veggie burger which was not a hugely processed veggie burger but had actual veggies that was not majority beans. Pleasantly surprised across the board. Everyone working was super nice.
One of the best bars to visit if you or your loved one is in law enforcement. Bring a badge from your town and staple it up or just admire how many have came before you. The guy at the door was great and helped us find a large space in the back. They also have great reasonably priced tshirts. Must stop if you like cop bars and are near the trade center. Service was quick!
The O'Hara's is not just an Irish pub, it is an institution that served as the HQ for man forces that came here to help in the aftermath of the 9/11 event. Here you will find lots of memorabilia as lots of Fire men, policemen, army force, etc brigades from all around the world send their badges. The place is literally covered from floor to ceiling in memorabilia. This is well worth a visit and the food was also really good. We would definitely come back here if in the region.
One of the best bars in Lower Manhattan. Historic bar from 9/11 and you can see all of the services patches from Around the world on the walls and ceiling, as a huge testament to solidarity across the globe. Awesome to see. Yuengling on tap was great, bar staff amazing.
I really love coming here. The beer is always cold and everyone always has a smile on their face. I am determined to try their burgers next time, I promise. Their wings and fries are my staple.
After visiting 9/11 memorial or the One World trade center this is a good place for lunch. The interior is covered with badges from police and fire departments from all over the USA and even from other countries. We had the O'hara classic burger which was quite good. Would fully recommend eating at this restaurant.
Low key and comfortable atmosphere. Good food. This bar has served countless first responders and is located just across from where the twin towers stood. There is commemoration of 9/11 all over the bar. There was just a deep sense of reverence and camaraderie. Thankful I got to spend time at this bar.
I am so glad we decided to come to O'Hara's for lunch! I had the 10 house Burger and my friend had a club wrap with onion rings; both delicious! The host was very funny and jovial and really made the place lively! The history at O'Hara's is touching and something worth seeing especially if you've ever worked in public safety. The FDNY firefighter memorial is right next to it and it is also something to visit.
Stopped in last night. Hector was absolutely awesome. Great recommendation on the pork chop. He even brought out the scrap book after we asked about the history of the bar. Great meal, great drinks, great service. Highly recommend.
I'm really glad I visited O'Hara's whilst touring the financial district in lower manhatten. The place is adorned with badges from all manner of emergency services ( first responders ) and is a fitting tribute to those that run into danger. They have a book. If they ask you if you'd like to see it, then I would say take the opportunity if you have the time. It catalogues the events of 9/11, and whilst it's an extraordinarily emotional document they have put together, it's also a beacon of hope for the future. I'm glad I was given the opportunity. I love the fact that if you set up a tab they give you a proper piece of paper that they put into the lovely old fashioned till and stamp to update your bill each time you ask for more ( see my pictures ). I should also add that I accidentally left a bag behind on the evening I spent there. I returned the next morning, and sure enough, it was there for me to collect. The food was nice and the staff were brilliant.
Stopped in for a pint and apps. My son said to ask to see the binder. Everything changed. I felt I was on hallowed ground. The pictures of 9-11 and the tributes to our heros touched me greatly. In addition, all the patches on the walls from first responders all over the country made this place special. We have said, "Never Forget." There are times, unfortunately, when it seems we have. I raise a pint to our brave heros. God bless your sacrifice.
O'Hara's Restaurant and Pub is hands down my favorite spot in New York City, and it's become my go-to place for almost every weekend outing. Located in the heart of the Financial District, this gem is more than just a restaurant or a pub – it's a place brimming with history, warmth, and some of the best drinks you'll ever have. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by an incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They always make you feel like part of the family. The owner is often around, mingling with guests and making sure everyone is having a great time. His friendliness and genuine interest in his patrons are a huge part of what makes this place special. Now, let's talk about the drinks. They offer a fantastic selection of beers, cocktails, and spirits that cater to every taste. The bartenders here really know their craft. Whether you're in the mood for a classic Guinness or something more adventurous, they’ve got you covered. I've tried many places in the city, but the drinks here are simply on another level – consistently top-notch and expertly made. Beyond the drinks and the welcoming atmosphere, this place holds a significant spot in the community’s heart due to its deep connection with 9/11. The walls are adorned with badges and memorabilia from first responders, making it a poignant and respectful tribute to the heroes of that day. It’s impossible not to feel a sense of reverence and respect as you sit among these tokens of bravery and sacrifice. One of the best kept secrets here is the "Album." If you ask the staff about it, they'll bring out a book filled with photos, letters, and memories from people who have visited over the years. It’s a touching collection that adds a personal and historical depth to your visit, reminding you of the community spirit that thrives in this place. It is more than just a pub for me – it's a place where memories are made and shared. I've taken all my friends here, and every single one of them has fallen in love with it just like I did. The combination of great service, outstanding drinks, and rich history creates an experience that is hard to beat. If you’re ever in New York City, do yourself a favor and stop by. Enjoy a drink, soak in the atmosphere, and be sure to ask about the "Album." You won’t regret it.
Dropped in around midday for some food and drink after spending some time around lower manhattan and ground zero. Plenty of space, family friendly, simple food that all in the party will eat. Service was efficient and courteous. Lots of firefighter / emergency services patches and memorabilia here with it being next door to ground zero and the firefighter memorial wall. Overall an ideal place for a quick snack and a pint for you and the family when mooching about in NY.
Very unique place with lots of history. This pub is right by the 911 memorial, and during 911 its building was damaged to the point where they had to close for several months. Today, their walls are decorated with patches of fire departments from all over the world, in recognition of the firefighters who fought and sacrificed to save lives in the aftermath of 911. The food itself is typical bar fare and I thought it was fine, but nothing special. I would definitely recommend dropping by here to see all the firefighter patches and take in the history though.
This is a great, local bar! One of those places that feels like everyone in it knows each other and have for years. The bartenders and staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Drink prices were very reasonable, but I didn't eat so can't comment on the food. Just had a few frosty nightcaps. The decor/souvenirs on the walls and ceiling are incredible. You'll see what I mean when you visit. Plus, they sell a cool memorial t-shirt for $15 (cash) which is nice, heavy and 100% cotton. A bargain these days.
I had a really enjoyable visit to O'Hara's! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for casual dining or catching up with friends. The menu offers a great selection of classic pub favorites and hearty dishes. I tried their signature burgers and some tasty appetizers — everything was flavorful and cooked just right. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure I felt comfortable throughout my meal. Overall, O'Hara's is a cozy spot that combines great food with a welcoming vibe. I’d definitely recommend it!
O'Hara's Restaurant and Pub is a warm friendly place where a visitor feels like it's a hometown spot. The food was on ☝️ point and the staff was friendly, inviting, and made us feel welcomed like we have been going there for years 😊 The vibe inside is fun and energetic. We had a blast! I recommend visiting this fun and vibing spot!
I have to admit, being a farmer's daughter from Louisiana, I can be a bit of a sweet potato snob because well I am used to homegrown. Y'all this place came closer than any other place to matching my momma's sweet potatoes! They just melted in our mouths - we ordered a 2nd order they were so good! The rest of our food was also great!
This place has so much personality, it’s a really good option around that area, they have burgers, sandwiches and many other things. I loved it. Service is great and prices are fine too. I’d definitely go back. Beers are good but lemon juice not so much, not natural juice. We ordered the sliders and fries, the shepherds pie for two and the chipotle chicken wrap. They were all very good. Fries are not the best but they are ok.
Its been a couple of years since my visit but I am getting ready to come back to NYC and this place is on my list to go back to. Its very close to the 9/11 memorial which is how we found it the first time. It was my aunt's first Christmas since her daughter, my cousin, passed earlier in the year. Another cousin flew in from Texas and we brought my aunt on a red-eye trip to NYC. We were going to the memorial and had a bit of time before entry so we stopped in this little place we had walked by. I dont remember the gentlemen who was working other than to say he ended up being the highlight of our trip. Maybe he was an owner or higher manager but he took such amazing care of us! Seated us near outlets to charge our phones, and making sure my aunt was near a heat vent! It was just after they opened when we were there so it was just us. This man shared some amazing stories about THAT day, how the bar filled with dust and debris, he also shared beautiful stories of first responders from around the world showing up and paying respect. All evidenced by the pictures and patches on the walls. The food was just as awesome as our experience. I've never, ever forgotten it and I cant wait to bring my granddaughter when we come next month. I'm trying to find my t-shirt 😀
My husband and I were just leaving the observatory and found this pub on the map and decided to give it a try. We definitely came across a gem. We find out this pub is a memorabilia for first responders. The history of this pub during 9/11 is just wow. The staff is so friendly, sharing stories with us and even letting us see their scrapbook of 9/11. The atmosphere was just the perfect vibe we were looking for. When we come back to NY, we are definitely stopping at O'Hara's.
No better place to go immediately after visiting the WTC area and Museum than O'Hara's! It was a rumor, I believed it, tested it and it was, in fact, true! You feel like you are almost walking into a time capsule the moment you see the door and I won't spoil the surprise by telling you what happens AFTER you open the door. It is a beautiful spot with so much personality, friendly service and the biggest burger I have ever seen. I couldn't even finish HALF. I think there was an entire pack of pack on it. ;) It was SO good. Not to mention, really reasonably priced, especially considering it would have fed me three times. I was able to swap out reg fries for sweet potato fries (always a win). The photos of the HAND-WRITTEN menu will tell you everything about the vibe of this unique place..... And the prices are on them. Those portions are HUGE, people! Enjoy! Will definitely be back!
Good evening, I know I'm supposed to review the place, but I'm actually trying to inquir about shirts that you used to sell about 10 years ago Your email online isn't valid so I thought Id try this. My wife has one of your shirts and it's getting to be worn out (it's one of her favorites). I was wondering if you still sell them, and if do if you ship them? I would like to surprise her with a new one! Thank you so much for your help. Looking forward to hearing from you. Regards, Morgan
Great find on the way from 9/11 Memorial. Good selection of drinks, friendly service and great atmosphere. Fantastic choice of rock music. I've been living in London for the last 18 years and I have to say none of my favourite bars there have such a great music. I know, it's very personal but... Going to visit again at the nearest opportunity.
I stopped by O'Hara's for a quick drink on a Saturday afternoon. It was around 12 PM and it was already pretty busy. Fortunately I found a seat at the bar, and immediately felt at home. The staff here are very warm and friendly. The walls are filled with police and firefighter patches, along with tons of 9/11 decor. This isn't surprising since O'Hara's is literally next to ground zero. I'll definitely return and try the food. It looks delicious!
This establishment was amazing to experience! The memorial to all of our brave men and women around the country! If you have a chance, please take the time to look through the Bible. It was super emotional, but very worth the look! Service was fantastic, despite being packed full of patrons, both local and not! 10/10 guys!

Great lunch!! A really interesting pub with thousands of firefighter & first responder patch all over the walls. Across the street from 911 Memorial. burgers were excellent!! Service was fast.
A must visit for us every time we come to NYC. Good food/drinks at very reasonable prices. Very strong bond to 9-11, and the owner makes you feel like family.
Traditional Irish lunch spot honoring the 9/11 first responders. Huge burgers prepared to your liking, and cold beer. Prompt service with the manager on top of the action.
Many tables were marked as 'reserved' and remained reserved without anyone at the table for an extended period of time. Made it difficult to get a place for two people. Beers are $8 and wings are some of the best you'll have.
Everything was great, good vibes, good service and good beers. I asked my burger medium rare and it came well done but whatever not a big deal. It was annoying that they added 20% tip already on the bill, especially when nothing was stated on the menu (which it has to be by law). I probably would’ve tipped that or more, but it’s about the principle. Tipping is about rewarding good service, if you’re forced into tipping whatever amount they think it’s fair, it’s no longer rewarding good service.
Very solid pub food with a very cool experience. I've never experienced a pub that was so deeply engrained in fire fighter culture, but it's not that surprising when you understand its location and history. If you need a burger and a beer then it's worth a visit. Bring your local fire fighter patches for the walls (entire place is covered head to toe).
Ohara’s is a cozy and uncomplicated place, a classic Irish pub with a welcoming atmosphere. What makes it unique are the patches from various emergency services, which add a special touch and fit perfectly with the history of the area around the World Trade Center. The service was excellent, and the food overall was very good. Unfortunately, my steak was overcooked instead of medium, which was a bit disappointing. However, I have to compliment the staff for how they handled the situation. The rest of the dishes were fantastic, and I would definitely recommend this spot.

The place gets busy for lunch service but they’re pretty good about getting you a seat quickly. Nice interior adorned with emergency service badges and flags from all over the country. Friendly service. Crafts beers, beers on tap. Usual pub food with some specials—Shepard’s pie, Irish stew. Surprisingly good burgers. Simple garnishes of tomato and lettuce and usual sesame bun but despite the simplicity, the beef patty really shines. Overall, good place to stop for pub food.
We were staying around the corner and needed to find a restaurant and a pub to meet up with family during our stay. This is a proper pub that serves food rather than a restaurant that serves alcohol. We went here to grab a drink but it was busy on a Friday at 5pm until 8pm. Started to one up around pm. It’s close to subway lines, World Trade Memorial etc. it’s not as crowded on the weekend. We enjoyed looking at the various first responder patches. Saw some from California and England.
Irish food on menus not available since Covid. Nice enough. Kinda a sticky table bar sort of, but expected that. Got Sheppard’s pie it was very good. But other items I would’ve preferred. Pls bring them back or take off menu. 20 min walk to be disappointed about online menu. The rest of menu is American bar food.
Bigger than it looks from the outside. The place is split across 1.5 floors with a bar section in the back. Got the Staten Island burger which seemed interesting. Came with Swiss and onions. However the raw onions were thick, too thick, had to take most of them out. Soldi burger otherwise. Pretty lively in the evening. I appreciate that they gave badges from first responders around the world. Not sure if that was always a thing or started after 9/11, either way it’s a very unique thing that literally covers the entire bar / restaurant. Would be very fun to look around and explore all the badges.
This pub is a must-visit place in NYC’s Financial District as it has great vibes and friendly staff, specially at the bar. It’s spacious with so many booths, tables, high chairs and bar seats. Many comfort food options and of course good selection of beer on tap. It also has a lot of history to it; they have even created a story book for 9/11 tragedy and all the firefighters who came to help and how this pub was damaged and the story of repairing and bringing it back to life.
Mozzarella cheeseburger was good. Table was a bit too small to be comfortable. Great tribute to all Fire/EMS/Police, with patches and stickers lining the doors, ceiling ,and walls. This was especially good for this location so close to the 911 memorial. Bring a patch to add from your station and an appetite.
O'Hara's Restaurant and pub, home to a lot of first responder patches \nYou can definitely tell this is a local favorite. \n\nWe started with a flatbread pizza and then shared a turkey club. \n\n…
The number of customers visible made me want to try the food. You'll appreciate the portion control here. The ambiance, waitstaff attention and cuisine here are all excellent. The personnel were bo…
We were a little confused as there are two ways to get into the restaurant. We came through the bar, but were told there were no tables available and several people waiting to be seated. That's whe…
Bar man was rude. Completely dismissed us on several occasions. Miserable man. No sparking or rose wine so opted for a Coke which was flavourless (on draft). Badges were cool though.

Good Guinness, good service, Not good Philly cheese steak. Meat was thick, tough and strange tasting. Hot peppers and lots of black pepper were all through it, hardly any cheese and standard fries.…

This was a great local bar decorated with first responded patches from across the US. Food was typical bar food. French onion not great, but the burger and other stuff was good.
The food was just ok. We are staying at Club Quarters hotel close by & didn't want to walk around to look for food. It was crowded. Server was nice and attentive. The burgers were ok. This place is ok because it's much cheaper than Morton's if you don't want to walk too far from the hotel. Nachos did have generous portions of beef, but would have tasted better with jalapenos. Burgers too thick & cheesy. Tv showing Eagles' game was blurry..They need HD tvs.
Started out with the beef nachos. My husband didn't like them. The beef is a ruff dry steak like meat. Not ground beef like I thought. In the beginning our waiter was great then once we got our food we never saw him again. I had to flag someone down to get our bill so we could leave. The ambiance is very cool. There are firehouses and police badges everywhere. They have Coke products. Nice seasonal beer selection. Oh and I got a bottle of Michelob Ultra and it was iced cold. It was delicious. Very close to the 9-11 memorial. I even found my hometown badges.
O'Hara's is a decent enough spot with moving history and a meaningful tribute to first responders, and it's definitely a tourist magnet. The atmosphere is lively, though it can feel a bit cramped a…
The food was clearly not the highlight here, the Burger was pretty plain and nothing special at all. All the ordered food tasted pretty plain and not much seasoned. If you like your burger like this, it's a match, for me it was not. The service was friendly and kind. One highlight is clearly the decorations inside the pub. There are patches of all kinds of different Rescue/Police forces from all around the world pinned to the walls. I would not come to eat again here, just because the food did not match my expectations and for that the prize was pretty high.
My wife and I just visited the 9/11 memorial and after the heaviness of the morning decided to have a drink and a snack. We sat at the bar, and was completely ignored by the bartender. He would talk …
Actively ignored by the bartender despite waiting patiently right in front of him. I'll refrain from putting on labels, but we did stick out a bit in terms of our background...not sure what it was …
French onion soup used to be highly reviewed here. Went recently and the soup was clear/white and did not have any caramelised onions in it. Also tasted like nothing, just cheese in mildly onion-soaked water. One of the worst french onion soups I’ve ever had. They took it off our bill after I told our server about it though.
