I can't explain how much fun I had today in this place. an atmosphere that I rarely felt. Fortunately, I sat at the bar and was personally attended by the bartender and the manager Mazin. Because i trowed my coctail to the floor, i started to have a conversation with them, and i have never felt so honored. The hamburger is the best classic American type I've tried, and the cheesecake it has is an elixir. I will return without a doubt, and I will recommend to everyone. One of the best surprises that I take from New York.
Frankie Biondi used to be the Maître d’ we had the big round table every Sunday night in the summer when we came in from Fire Island. It was 1963 and we loved it
Bloody good bar & after a 2nd visit the bar keeper knew my drink & was a lovely chap to chat to amongst the multitude of orders he was managing.
If you want warm and comfortable service in NY, this is the place. The bartender could have dropped the drink in front of me during the busy service, but instead, he walked all the way around the bar, served me my drink, introduced himself and welcomed me to the little corner of the bar. How do you get better than that? Food is perfectly cooked, and tast. Great spot!! Pot pie is incredible.
Classic New York that NEVER disappoints. This is our go to place for Christmas Eve dinner and for taking out of town visitors. The burgers and cocktails are ALWAYS on point. And definitely treat yourself to the raw bar. Great staff, relaxed vibe that's also romantic and cozy, old New York which is harder and harder to come by. Proud to have this P.J.'s in our neighborhood!
Not only was the food delicious, but the service was great! And the consideration given to my party, considering half of them were late; was very much appreciated. Mazin took my reservation, welcomed us; and made us feel life regulars from the moment we walked in. I’ll be back first chance I get!
I love this original location of p.j. clarkes! i've been here so many times it's hard to rate just one time. the service is always on point and the food is consistent. an elevated gastropub menu focused on a raw/chilled bar. but don't skip the burger and the chicken pot pie, both is which are fantastic. the bar area is first come, first serve, and reservations are taken for the main dining. even without a reservation a wait for a table isn't that bad. plus the red and white checker table cloth is such a fun novelty. oh and did I mention the martinis are big, nice, and cold?
Never ate here but the caddilac burger was John Gotti's favorite cheeseburger 🍔 lol so next time im in NYC I will be checking them out. Because if it's Gotti approved!! Its gotta be 👌🏻🤌🏻fuuuuggggitttt abooooouttt it!!!
PJ Clarke’s in Manhattan is an absolute gem. The burger I had here was easily one of the best I’ve ever tasted – juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is something truly special. The moment you walk in, you feel like you’ve stepped back in time to the 1970s. It’s got that old New York charm – classic, warm, and full of character. This place is not just a restaurant, it’s an experience. One of the most authentic and beautiful spots in Manhattan. Highly recommended!
140 years of history, feels very New York, great local clientele. The 1884 Cheeseburger is gorgeous tasty simplicity on a plate, and the tall New York Cheesecake doesn’t disappoint. I will be back again.
My burger and a beer go to spot. Absolutely love the bartenders, they make you feel like home! The place is always buzzing with energy any day any time.
Absolutely loved P.J. Clarke's 100% recommend it for anybody coming into New York for vacation and even some locals who may have never given it a shot. Let's first start off with the service, the service was amazing! Our waitress was on point. She kept up with all of our oyster needs and drinks as well she didn't miss a beat! Nextly the food. Where to begin when talking about the food? Let's start with the appetizers we got the delicious deluxe appiters which was half a lobster, 6 east coast oysters, 6 littleneck claims, and 6 bloodspot claims and four jumbo shrimp along with a dozen of oysters. Everything tasted amazing and we ended up with four dozens of oysters that had two types of oysters served, I don't know the species sadly, but they were delicious. Nextly I ordered the 8 Oz. Filet mignon medium rare. Let me say they didn't add any unnecessary flavoring simply pit sea salt on the steak and cooked it and wow was the flavor amazing the meat almost melted in your mouth. I also ordered truffle fries and baked macaroni and cheese. The truffle fries were delicious and really caught me off guard with the flavor profile of simple French fries. The macaroni and cheese really tripped me out being from Kentucky I never had peas in my Mac and cheese and honestly I wasn't expecting how well it went together. Lastly and probably the best part of the night was meeting the manager after dinner his name was Mazin Manahi, he took time out of his day to talk with us and get to know us. We really appreciated his time to talk with us and really made the trip personal and look forward to coming and seeing our new friend again!
One of the few notable NYC restaurants that boasts its history and excellence simultaneously. The best quality beers on tap and unbelievably welcoming service from every single staff here. What a breathtaking decoration, not to mention, and the foods are stuffing both your stomach and soul.
Very cool atmosphere. We only got drinks and a couple appetizers on the bar side. The service was great and it was easy to get a table at the bar... we needed a table since we had our kids.
Fantastic old style bar (have I already written this review, I had a cold and forgot): great cocktails, great burgers, and a men's room that feels like you are still standing at the bar. Gotta love it.
The service is always very friendly and attentive. Food is always good. Standard pub fair with excellent raw bar selections.
This is as New York as they come. With a long history behind it, it still attracts (mostly local) crowds, and justly so. The atmosphere is unbeatable, with dark wood and old tile floors, with the red chequered table cloths just adding perfectly to it all. The menu is American cuisine, with some tasty burgers taking the leading spot, but it also offers meat, seafood, chili... The drinks list is a small slice of heaven, with great beers and cocktails. Expect a bill around 40$ per person at lunch. If you go at lunch time and dinner time there will almost certainly be a waiting list.
Have been coming here for now 20 years - every time we're in NYC. Every time we have family or friends visiting we always bring them here. Love everything about the place, especially the old school restrooms. Great long time staff (says a lot about the place), low wait times (no one sleeps here), and most importantly great burgers. A NYC first of the many they've opened since and the best IMO.
My Wife and I renew our vows every year and this is the 2nd time we've been to PJ Clarks and everything was even better! We both got the Gentleman's Chopped Steak and we shared an order of their Home style Mac & Cheese with Peas (we got without Peas and it was incredible) we also got the Chocolate Mousse with whipped cream. The service was as good as the fantastic food. BIG shout-out to Claire, our server, who made our special night even more special. And the manager (who's name we didn't get) who moved us to a roomier table that lit my wife like a Disney princess. Looks like PJ Clarks is gonna be added to our yearly tradition.
Fantastic, historic tavern in the heart of Manhattan. Real old world vibe. The most delicious onion rings/strings I've ever had! The bartender was super cool, and even the locals were chatty and really interesting. I absolutely love this pub - hopefully I can visit again. If you're in N Y just go.
I have no idea how anyone can post anything but a 5-star review on this place. We had a FANTASTIC experience, and I doubt that future visits, if we lived there, would change. Drew was our bartender, and he combined personality, energy, and efficiency perfectly. Sometimes the staff sort of "makes" your experience, and he did exactly that. The place itself oozes with history and nostalgia. Yes, I even am posting a pic of the bathroom ceiling. Wife had a very well made French 75. I had the local IPA by Six Point. They have the old school jukebox and if Drew is working, play All Along The Watchtower for him. He will love you for it. Don't play Janis Joplin. The burger was solid, and that was a main reason we went there. It was well worth the $24. The oysters were also worth the 6 for $24. The chowder was also solid. Good mix of regulars, other service industry people, and sports fans during our visit. There are a lot of places in NYC obviously, but if nearby Midtown, you should definitely schedule an hour or two for here. Definitely recommend and see you there (the next time we are in NYC).
A classic Manhattan in the heart of NYC at none other than PJ Clarke’s—where timeless cocktails meet old-school charm. 🥃✨ Sitting at the bar, surrounded by the hum of the city and the warm glow of history, every sip feels like a tribute to New York’s golden age. Perfectly stirred, with just the right balance of sweetness and bitterness, this Manhattan is proof that some things never go out of style—just like PJ Clarke’s itself. Of course; had to follow up with a Guinness! Which was deliciously smooth.
Classic New York watering hole and eatery. This midtown location on a weekday was a mix of finance guys and out of towners—mostly middle aged crowd. Everyone having a few drinks and a (delicious!) bite to eat. I had a Trio of Burgers and a Dirty Martini, everything done right. Nothing too fancy, just great food, quick amicable service, and a buzzy atmosphere.
The vibe of this restaurant is so nice, built in the 1800s the decor looks like it has not changed at all. I got the bbq blue burger and it was great. Blue cheese can be overwhelming but it was really tasty on this burger. The party was cooked well and was juicy and not too greasy. The fries are thin and crispy. I think they could’ve been salted a bit more but that’s easy to remedy. The espresso martini is strong on the espresso which I like, not too liquify tasting and the cheesecake is sweet and creamy. Overall a really cozy environment with tasty food.
Awesome experience! This place is packed with history. Frank Sinatra, Buddy Holly, you name it. Food and service was very good too. Had the cheesesteak egg rolls as a starter and the braised ribs as a main. Both very tasty, although the rolls were my favorite by a slight margin.
Excellent restaurant! It's an old building, so if you love that vibe like I do, this is your spot! Perfect place to have private dinner party for 40-60 people. The food and staff were great! I went for dinners here because of Phil M Jones team organizes one team dinner for Exactly What To Say certification course participants.
It was an amazing experience. Since we set one foot into the place the atmosphere and service were great. The food was like a religious experience. We had the Christmas day special. The meat was so tasty and great, the cream potatoes were incredible. Desserts were something out of this world. The apple blueberry crisp was so delicious. I totally recommend the place, the service is very attentive and caring, the hospitality of the place is so warm. One of my top experiences while in NYC. Prices are ok according to the quality and quantity.
This place has the formula down right. Veteran servers and bartenders, a solid and reliable menu, great decor mixing the old with the new and a lively place for old classics. I got the fish and chips, perfectly battered fresh cod wrapped in a faux newspaper cone with shoestring fries on the side. Served with lemon, malt vinegar, ketchup and tartar sauce. The tartar sauce blew me away - so many nuanced flavors (dill? garlic?) when normally I am not a fan! The music selection was on point tonight too. Great to bop along to with the meal.
First time coming to this historic restaurant. We got there at 11:45pm on a Tuesday, close to kitchen closing. The manager was the nicest guy, greeting us with a smile and said if your hungry we will keep the kitchen open for you. Thinking it was an Irish bar I was surprised when he offered the best shrimp cocktail or oysters, Clams on the half shell. He also recommended the best pint of Guinness. We took him up on his Guinness. It was the best Guinness I ever had, creamy and fresh I highly recommend it. Next I ordered the clams on the half shell. I was shocked how good and fresh they were . We also got the shrimp cocktail it was huge, the biggest shrimp I had seen. My main was the beer battered Fish and chips. Again , it was cooked perfectly with a delightful crunch and flaky fish inside. I never expected this kind of quality food at midnight. We all were full and happy at the end of out meal. You can't go wrong here, can't wait to go back again soon.
After a fantastic evening at the Met, we were thrilled by the stunning opera Porgy and Bess; we made our way to PJ Clarke’s for dinner…an excellent decision! The feel of this restaurant was warm, and we were greeted with excellent food and solid service right from the start. We started our culinary journey with a delightful chicken soup and an assortment of appetizers, including crispy onion straws, flavorful wings, and perfectly sautéed spinach. Each dish was beautifully presented, showcasing a gourmet flair that elevated our dining experience. The chicken soup was a standout; it exuded a comforting, homemade quality and boasted just the right number of dumplings each spoonful felt like mom made it. Our server, Chris, was attentive. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at PJ Clarke’s. If you’re in search of exceptional American fare, this is a great choice.
Great spot, Jerry and the crew are the best. Easy place to find plenty of room at the bar. Heaps of locals go there and have a great selection of beers. Toilets on site and a space to hang your coat. Bartenders are happy to chat
A piece of NYC history. Americana fine dining in its roots. Cheesecake was more than generous in size. Enough for a table of 4 to share. Steak was a great cut, seasoned well, and herb butter was a nice touch.
Walk in, did not have to wait for a table host was very friendly and so was our waitress. We got our order in pretty quickly and food came shortly after. We\n Got a lobster, roll and a fish sandwich. It had options of fries or chips. We had one of each. I also ordered an iced tea with cranberry juice. This place is welcoming and cozy. Good for eating alone or with company. I also saw some families, high chairs available. Overall everything was delicious. I recommend this place.
Great place to go for dinner and a drink. Had a party of four and all of us really enjoyed our appetizers and entrees. The burgers were fantastic and everything was reasonably priced. The bartenders and servers were all friendly and attentive. It was crowded the entire time so I would strongly suggest making a reservation in advance. We will definitely stop in again.
I went for a quick bite to eat during work with co-workers (12 of us) in the late evening. We called ahead and were told that there was room upstairs. We were very surprised at the very warm and friendly atmosphere of their upstairs space. It was definitely more upscale than downstairs but they accommodated us with their pub menu from downstairs. The food was excellent and the service was even better. I will definitely be back to try their full menu!
I had no idea how spicy habanero peppers were until I came here. It's very lively here, with a bar in the front along with some seating, and inside there's booths and chairs for more seating. If you pick up the Grilled sweet chili wings, be prepared to taste pain, especially after the first wing.
Was staying at a nearby hotel and my coworker and I decided to try PJ Clarke’s. The atmosphere is very cool, with a classic, throwback vibe. It was packed on a Sunday night but we still got a table. The staff were super friendly and the food was excellent. I had the chicken Milanese, which was generous and delicious, and my colleague loved the lobster roll. Definitely a spot I’d come back to - great experience all around.
Excellent restaurant! It's an old building, so if you love that vibe like I do, this is your spot! I got the trio of burgers. But if you want a burger, id recommend just getting the BBQ blue. That one was the best by far. My colleague got the lobster roll and loved it. New England clam chowder was decent. The French martini was good.
Was very accommodating and very quick service. I had questions about the menu and the waiter was able to promptly answer all of my questions thoroughly. Food came out quickly, and was delicious. Very happy with my experience here. I highly recommend their cheesecake as it was some of the best I’ve had and the slices are very big so you can probably share.
Stopped by for a quick bite and sat outside on the sidewalk — so cute and chill with great city vibes. The oysters and shrimp cocktail were super fresh and hit the spot. Perfect place to relax, people-watch, and enjoy quality seafood in a laid-back setting. Definitely coming back for the atmosphere alone!
Opened in 1884, P.J. Clarke's is one of New York City's oldest operating restaurants. This place oozes history, and the club sandwich today was fantastic! I definitely like the original location on 3rd Avenue the best. I'll have to come by for lunch more often as the last time I was at this location was at least 10 years ago. Shame on me!
A great local hang, particularly for fans of the movie Lost Weekend with Ray Milland and Jane Wyman. Its a tavern, plain and simple.
Came here for a quick late night fix!! The hubby had been wanting some oysters for a while and I called around to at least 10 places before finding P.J. Clarke’s. Nice to see at least one restaurant is still full service at 11 o’clock pm on a Saturday night (I thought this was supposed to be the city that never sleeps 🙄). They only had East Coast Oysters available but a variety of clams to accompany them, with all the fixings… including Tabasco sauce, in case you were wondering! And their brownie sundae wasn’t too bad either! Soft and warm with crispy edges with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce… can’t go wrong!
Outstanding burger and oysters, exceptional warm service, and unbeatable classic tavern atmosphere. P.J. Clarke's is NYC at its best!
Cool brick building in the middle of office-y midtown, worth it for the old school charm alone. We also had a very delicious chicken pot pie. After sharing an issue (probably a fluke) with our excellent server, she removed the item from our check without our asking. How you handle these one-off occurrences says a lot, and we went away feeling appreciative and impressed.
STILL HOLDING ITS OWN amid the towers of east Midtown, this venerable bit of New York still delivers good hamburgers and massive servings of pricey shellfish detailed daily on a chalkboard. Servers are veterans in white aprons of the sort Damon Runyon would recognize. The food was good, and I am glad to see the place weathered COVID-19, not to mention Prohibition and the Great War.
Really good food, great cocktails, this feels like a stand out New York Irish bar, wish I could have spent longer in it.
PJ’s is a cross between an English pub and an American diner. Red and white tablecloths meet the dark, tight and pokey feel of a pub. The food is very solid but it’s not quite as good as I was expecting. I had the Trio of Burgers so I could try all that was on offer. The Classic Burger & Cadillac Burgers were quite bland. The best was the Blue Cheese & Onion Burger. I think it was the lack of flavour in the patty that brought it down. I also had the lobster roll which was perfectly good but nothing too special. The best dish of the day was PJs Cheesecake. Great size for the price and although I like a little more biscuit to cheese ratio it was still really light and creamy. I was disappointed by PJs because for the price you expect it be perfect.
Cool and historic 1800's spot that was once frequented by Sinatra and Jackie Kennedy. Decent beers on tap and great burgers. The happy hour specials are awesome. $1 clams and $2 oysters. You can't go wrong. The regular prices are a little on the expensive side but it is midtown so not abnormal. The bartender, Jerry is awesome and will take good care of you. Stop by and say hello!
I had the Sweet Chili Wings and they were amazing! The Caesar salad appetizer is also very good. We ordered the Fish and Chips, which was a solid choice. The four stars is bc the cocktails were only OK. Ordered the Queen's Gambit, the Palomo, and the Negroli. They were all very average, at best. The place is very cute and fun in a classic kind of way. They had a jukebox going that was on point. The food is A+, the atmosphere is A, the cocktails were a C+.
Time-Tested Gem for Lunch and Dinner! 🍔🐟🍟 P J Clarke’s in New York is a true icon when it comes to dining out. Whether it’s lunch or dinner, this place never fails to impress! The locations are simply amazing, offering a charming ambiance that perfectly complements the outstanding service. The food? Oh, it’s beyond amazing! From their mouthwatering hamburgers to the crispy fish and chips and the decadent lobster rolls, every dish is a culinary delight. The flavors are rich and satisfying, making each bite a true pleasure. And let’s not forget about the oyster bar! If you’re a fan of fresh seafood, this is a must-visit spot. The selection is top-notch, and the oysters are always served with precision and care. In summary, P J Clarke’s is a timeless classic that should not be missed. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, make sure to stop by for an unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommended! 🍔🐟🍟
the location is very nice and typical. the service didn’t really convince me. we called asking if any gluten-free dishes were available and they told me so. we made a reservation. when we arrived they asked us to wait 30 minutes for our table (even if we reserved it!). when we sat down very few gluten-free dishes were available. the quality of the food is good but the service really needs a brush-up.
Could not be a cuter atmosphere. Seriously loved the vibe. Didn't love our appetizers of zucchini/eggplant chips (very blah) or the oysters Rockefeller (mostly spinach). The burgers were good, very thick if you like that kind of burger. Soft buns. Fries were decent. Good local Pilsner. Service was excellent.
You have feeling that you are eating in a place with character and soul. The architecture of the place was historical and beautiful. Bar space was separate from main restaurant space. Staff were friendly and polite. Bar was first come first serve. Food had a good quality. Burger was a little hard and chewy and I didn’t like the bun. But ingredients had good quality.
You can't go back in time. After reading about the waitress I decided to give Clark 's a try having not been since Sting was singing Every Breath You Take on the radio and although the physical is almost the same, the feeling was so different and the burger was a terrible disappointment. What happened to the juicy burger? What happened to good old cheap ground beef? My burger was rare and wasn't juicy! It's not just Clark's though, EVERYWHERE i order a burger it sucks. The bar here is outstanding! Great nyc before gentrification. I worked in finance at the time and it was a hang out for a lot of us. I remember the owner telling me about the offer to buy the building and their refusal.
Burgers were great. Steak and frites were incredibly chewy. Hard pass on that one. Regular fries that came with the dishes were just ok
I am not sure what to say with this one, I liked the historical feel of this pub, but disappointed in the service. We waited much too long for a table to be cleared that we were standing in front of, signaled for, and no service. However, I observed two other tables cleared for white patrons who arrived after we did and the tables were both larger than our table for two. It did not feel good, maybe I will return, or maybe not. Not sure what happened.
We’ve lived in the neighborhood for 30 years and have seen PJ’s transform from maybe the best pub in NY into what’s more of a restaurant these days. If you’re looking for a reliable American menu with a really nice setting you can’t beat it. However, it used to have a great bar scene that you could rely on to be open late night or after a show, and in all conditions. It was like an oasis of life on an otherwise shut down block. Lately it feels like it has lost its soul in that regard though. As the hour gets close to 11 o’clock the bartenders can’t close and get out fast enough. It may be by design, but I miss the accessibility and feel it had in the decades before.
This bar was a treat to experience but it’s not a “MUST DO” in my books. We went in early on a Saturday night to grab a drink and snack. The bar was fairly full but we landed a hightop in the corner. The room is full of nostalgia and there seemed to be a fair amount of regulars and families (with babes for an early dinner — it was cute and frankly added to the vibe). The bartenders and servers were very nice. Had a beer and a few snacks; the zucchini and eggplant chips were recommended to us so we tried (and surprised the server who didn’t know about the eggplant in the dish) and it was fine but a little on the greasy side and too large a portion for just two of us (though that’s not their problem — probably a better dish to share with 4 or 6 ppl so it’s not so heavy). The oysters Rockefeller were excellent; if we had just done the oysters and beer I think that would’ve been the right amount of exposure. Perhaps we were oversold on the joint; I had heard it was a fab spot to get a martini and some oysters; I bet that’s true, I just pictured something different and perhaps a little less gritty (I like gritty; I just wasn’t properly calibrated). I can see why locals would enjoy the cozy spot and some of the reasons it has endured. For me, on a VERY short weekend in the city, it wasn’t a necessary stop.
Came here mostly for the history and old-school NYC vibe, but honestly, it didn’t quite live up to the expectation. We were seated at this awkward table right by the oyster counter—basically tucked under like we were hiding beneath a bar, which didn’t feel great. They didn’t have the dish we initially wanted, didn’t have the beer we asked for, and surprisingly… no Tabasco at an oyster bar? Ended up with the chopped steak and a burger. The chopped steak turned out to be just a burger patty on soggy baguette—not what we imagined. Sauce was tasty, but still disappointing if you’re expecting, well, steak. The burger was okay, but the bun looked kind of thrown together. Service was slow and not super attentive—we missed our chance to order when the drinks came and had to wait quite a while to flag someone down again. Nice to tick it off the list, but not somewhere I’d be rushing back to.
We had the Rhode Island Calamari as an appetizer, but I wasn’t impressed - it was quite oily with lots of breading and barely any calamari taste. My dad got Fish & Chips and really enjoyed them. My mom had The Lobster Roll with waffle fries - she also liked her food. (for me these waffle fries were great!) I ordered the New England Clam Chowder soup with Parmesan Truffle Fries - the fries were good, but the soup was just okay and definitely not the best I’ve had. Overall, it feels like more of a place to enjoy drinks. The food wasn’t bad, but for the price, I’d say there are better options around.
Hello PJ Clarke Team- Today was my first experience in your 3rd Avenue location, and I must say the hostess was not very personable. As soon as I walked in, I said hello she looked at me with a blank stare, as if I knew the the procedures of the restaurant, this was my first time and I’m afraid it may be my last. She asked me if I would whether sit at a table or in the bar area. I chose the bar area and I sat there for 5 minutes before the bartender acknowledged me. The bartender today initially was going to shout across the bar to take my order. Which I’m sure is not the culture or service you are wanting to give up in your establishment. I did not respond and spoke softly, and then he proceeded to tell me “if you want to order you come to the bar. This is not table service!” I saw him take other orders from customers that were at tables. This was not a great experience.I must say also being in the service industry; customer service goes a long way paired with kindness. The food saved the day, but I will not forget the experience and that is what truly determines who returns and who doesn't; is the experience not the food.
This place was not good at all. I ordered the steak frites medium rare and it looked RARE. It wasn’t pink, it was purple. The steak itself was very small and thick. I sent it back and asked for it to be cooked a bit more so it could be medium rare and not rare but got it back with barely any pink. It had very little flavor. All the flavor was in the french fries. Service was very slow. It took almost 10mins to flag someone down to ask for my steak to be cooked more. But of course they were fast to get us the check. People definitely go here for the atmosphere but save your money when it comes to the food.
We had the Pre Fixe Thanksgiving. We arrived at 2pm. I'm not sure when you started cooking, but the turkey was very dry (even with the gravy on it), the roasted autumn vegetables unrecognizable, and the sweet potatoes looked and tasted like grated carrots. The salad was fine, though the people at my table who had pumpkin soup option said it looked like baby food. The pumpkin pie was fine, but the apple tart was really bad and mushy. My family and I were looking forward to our first Thanksgiving in NYC. The fact that we paid $500.00 for this meal is appalling. Our server was outstanding and the overall atmosphere was fine, but we will never go back to this restaurant.
American style restaurant which interior design is so charming and well. But foods are not good, waiters push you to stand up after you finish your meal. Most of the fast food chain burger restaurants are even better from here. I did not understand why they require 4.5+ point on average. Also pricing is expensive considering deliciousness and serving. I do not recommend their burgers.
That's it, I'm boycotting this place after I just got served cold, cardboard-like fries with the fish and chips (price point: $29!). They keep cutting corners, and it shows in the quality of the food. This, even as they relentlessly jack up the prices. I've lived around the corner for a dozen years. Used to adore the place. But it's been sliding downward lately. Those cold, soggy fries are routine. Dry, lifeless chicken sandwiches. The Rueben served with gross, chewy cuts of corned beef instead of prime cuts, the way it used to be. And in other cases, they've sneakily changed the side on some dishes from fries to potato chips (but at the same price point or higher). You can tell the ownership is bent on squeezing maximum profits at the expense of the brand's long-term reputation. Again, I'm right around the corner and could easily be there weekly. But no more. I feel like I'm throwing away money when I dine here.
