Fabulous dinner! I went with my family for my birthday and I was in love. The live music was perfect for the atmosphere and the food was so delicious. I have the dinner pre-fix with calamari, chicken breast “Coq Au Vin” and strawberry cheesecake. I also had a few drinks as it was my 21st birthday and they were not only stunning but so delicious. They even accommodated making me a drink from their brunch menu when I expressed that it was my favourite. Needless to say, I do recommend it to anyone who wants a classy restaurant with great food!

Went here for the restaurant week lunch special - got the steak and the salmon. Everything was pretty good, for appetizers we tried the crab cake and sushi and also added some calamari, all were very good. Would recommend :)

I went here to celebrate a belated Father's Day, maybe it was a good thing we went after a popular celebratory event since it was easy to be seated and make a reservation for a more desired time. My sister actually made the recommendation because she knows what a seafood girlie I am (and my dad - *cough). So for all my seafood lovers, this one might just be up your alley! I'm very skeptical about seafood in NYC sooooo just in case you also have high standards when it comes to seafood... I got you! We started off with their oysters (8/10, I wish that they had better garnishes), their Tuna Tartare (9/10, I've had better but this was still really good), Fried Calamari (8.5/10, they cooked it to our preference... A lil chewy, not too crispy, ), and their Cauliflower soup of the day (10/10, I couldn't think of one wrong thing about it, it was perfection.... And I rarely every give 10/10's!) Because we had a nice selection for apps, we just went with a Rainbow Sushi as a main and a repeat for their oysters (I've been craving oysters for a while and for 6 oysters between 3 people, we definitely needed another serving lol!). This was truly a great experience. The live performance also elevated the whole experience. The only negative thing I would mention is that the service was not up to par. It would have been great to get checked in during the experience, we had to ask for simple things (extra set of utensils, orders for food or drinks)... Knowing how many people were in my party. It just felt a little lazy. But I'd love to go back! The food itself was amazing, the live music was a plus, and the atmosphere was great. Not noisy, very spacious, high ceilings ... Also on my way to the bathroom I heard some opera, not sure if they have live opera on the second floor.... But for anyone looking for some live performances in the background while dinning, who happen to love seafood, this is definitely a spot worth checking out!

We stumbled on this unassuming gem upon arriving to NYC while waiting for our hotel to be ready. Upon arrival, Richard (the GM), immediately greeted us with warmth and stories, along with menu recommendations and delicious drinks. We spent a wonderful afternoon lunch on the patio, and felt so at home that we came back 2 other times during the trip! This will now be our go-to. The staff genuinely LOVE their job. And you can tell Richard loves the staff as much as they love him. Truly a family feel with incredible food. Highly, highly recommend!

Went here randomly for a drink after thanksgiving dinner, just saw how cute it looked from the outside and decided to try our luck. The place is amazing! Every single one of the staff are so friendly and warm, we felt so welcomed, and the wines and drinks were terrific. The live male musician had an incredible voice, the classic interior is really beautiful, and all of the artwork terrific. Not to mention how festive and atmospheric it felt during Xmas time, I enjoyed this place so much! Husband ordered onion rings as bar snacks and they were huge and cooked with rosemary, really unique. We will absolutely come back for dinner another time, very excited to try their food! This place has so much potential.. the food was delicious, atmosphere was great, especially with the live entertainment. We sat at the bar, and the bartender we had was great.. HOWEVER he had everyone at the bar plus floor tables. He was the only bartender on that side and had to tend to and clean all his tables.. there were people waiting to place drink and food orders at the bar and he was pulled in a million directions. Someone should’ve helped clear his tables at least or make a few drinks for customers to help him! Maybe it was just understaffed that night. I will definitely try it again as everything else was great.

I had a great experience at Redeye Grill. The food was okay overall, but the miso cod —which our server Jelena recommended— was excellent, and the banana cream pie also she recommended, absolutely superb. What truly stood out was Jelena’s service. She was sweet, funny, and went above and beyond, completely elevating the night. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the unwelcoming host, lack of greeting, and incorrect info at the start. The food presentation could also use a bit more effort. Still, Jelena made up for almost everything. I’d come back just for her service and that banana cream pie!

I asked to substitute the mushrooms that came with the salmon for broccoli. I ended up getting just one broccoli stem—and was charged $5.00 for it. The food is good. The service isn’t terrible, just a bit inconsistent.

Visited today with my family. Overall, it was an okay experience. We tried their famous Dancing Shrimp, presentation was impressive, but the flavor didn’t quite match the hype. The oysters were just okay and pretty small, not the best spot if you’re an oyster lover. Fried calamari, on the other hand, was tasty and well-cooked. The kids had mac & cheese, but unfortunately, it wasn’t a hit with them. On the bright side, our server was kind and attentive, offering alternative options for the kids, which we really appreciated.

The food can be tasty and pleasant, and the decor is fun but the prices are truly in keeping with Tines Square-a little on the rich side. Save it for a big family event

Very disappointed dropped in to get a Irish Coffee with Bailey's and received this, see first photo below. This looked like a coffee with curdled milk. Then to be charged $41 for 2 was a bit steep. Service was just as bad. 2nd photo is what a Irish coffee should look like.
