Moved to New Rochelle from Brooklyn last year, and definitely a pizza connoisseur- this is the best close I’ve had in Westchester hands down. Great crust, delicious sauce and very good cheese. Will be back within the week. 😀

Awesome experience! Just driving through on my way north and found this gem on Google Maps. Sal and I had the greatest conversation about Sicily (where he’s from and where I just visited a a few months ago). The food tasted like I was reliving my vacation. So great! He and his staff were all delightful. A great find!

Pizza Shops.... Yeah, they're literally on every corner, so a lot of times, people just take that for granted, because it may be conveniently close to them, and Pizza is Pizza, right ? NO, it's not. Sal's Pizza II is located in the Quaker Ridge Shopping Center, on Quaker Ridge Rd in the Wykagyl area of New Rochelle. I'm 57, so believe, I've had more than my fair share of Pizza from all over place. Sal's has the usual "regular" Pizza, which is delicious, but they also offer a huge variety of "Specialty" Pies, and Slices. Their "Grandma Sicilian" is just out of this world. SO GOOD it's just incredible. Unlike other Shops that offer the always popular "Salad Pizza", Sal's has taken it to the next level. The toppings include sliced Avocado, and frankly, I've never seen or had a Salad slice anywhere that even comes close to how great Sal's Salad Pizza is. The guys behind the Counter always greet everyone with a smile, and a "How are you today, what can we get for you ?" You'll literally stand at the Counter staring at about 10 different "Specialty" Pies, that will leave you wanting a Slice or two of EVERYTHING. While you're waiting, take a look at all of the fantastic pictures hanging on the walls. Hollywood Stars, pictures of Italy and Sicily, all while having some great conversations with the Owners. So incredibly friendly, always more than happy to create any kind of Pizza you can think of. I must easily pass a dozen Pizza Shops on my way to Sal's because it's worth the extra few miles I drive, just to get my hands on some of the BEST Pizza, regular, or "Specialty". Sal's II has become my absolute "Go to" Pizza Shop, anytime I'm feeling like having something unbelievably delicious. I drive a Subaru Street Race car, and a couple of days ago when I was at Sal's, we talked about cars, Ferrari's, and racing for half an hour. These guys are super friendly, always have time to talk, and I may have mentioned, they make INCREDIBLE PIZZA. Thinking about getting yourself a quick Slice, or a Pie for the Family ? Do yourself, and your stomach a favor, and make your way over to Sal's II. You won't be disappointed, and after that first bite, you'll never wanna go to another Pizza Shop ever again. 💯👍👌 ~Jules, aka The Punisher WRXTRA ! 😁

We ordered three salads and a pizza for dinner tonight from Sall’s II on Quaker Ridge Rd in New Rochelle. This is a pic of the Salad my husband had, the Santa Fe. We enjoyed it along with the Avo and the Caprese salads. All three were delish! As well as the pizza. Thanks for another great Sal’s!

Same delicious pizza as they have in Mamaroneck but you don't have to drive up and down Mamaroneck Avenue looking for parking!

we live in Bronxville and decided to drive to Sal‘s Pizza too. The first time we grab some slices they were amazing. The crust was crispy and fresh. We loved it so much that we went back the second day and the crust was soggy and falling apart. There were two different guys the two different days. I wish I knew the guys name of the first day we went.

Sal's Pizza is an okay spot for a quick slice, but it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. The pizza itself was decent, with a nice crust and plenty of cheese, but the toppings felt a bit bland and could have used more flavor. It’s not the greatest pizza I’ve ever had, but it’s certainly passable if you’re in the area. The atmosphere was nothing special—pretty standard for a pizzeria—with simple decor and a casual vibe. It wasn’t unpleasant, but it also didn’t have that cozy feel that makes you want to linger. Overall, Sal's Pizza is a fine option for a quick bite, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return. There’s nothing to hate about it, but there are definitely better pizza places around!

Just left here with an order of garlic knots and they are literally ice cold in the middle. If I had the time I'd bring them back, but I don't. I won't be going back for anything for that matter. This is lousy.

im so pissed with this place, we are a group of hvac workers and all we want is to enjoy a nice lunch and they couldn’t even get the order right. I ordered plain and simple chicken cutlet sandwiches and specified what i wanted on them and they added sardines to BOTH of the sandwiches! We paid good money and tipped well in order to get our food delivered well and they messed everything up. So disappointing when they can’t even get an order right, as someone who has worked in the restaurant industry that really disgusts me, will never be ordering from this place again.

Ordered a Focaccia pizza pie, the crust was stale like it was sitting around for a couple of days Disappointed because the tomatoes were delicious There is no way they didn’t know the crust was stale when they made this . I would avoid anything made with a Sicilian shell here..
