I ordered the malawach and as someone Yemenite, I can honestly say—they nailed it. Perfect texture, perfect flavor, just the real deal. We also had the fattoush salad, which wasn’t the traditional version you’d expect, but a fresher, more modern take—and it worked! There was a delay with our order, so they sent us a complimentary muesli with pears, and it was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted. Everything was excellent, full of flavor, and had a great kick. Highly recommended!

Love their food! We did a price fix for the four of us and it was almost too much - but absolutely delicious. Highly recommend either the steak skewers or the lamb kofta kebab.

The brunch menu was absolutely delicious with so much variety that it was hard to choose. Thankfully, our fantastic server was incredibly knowledgeable and helped guide us to some truly delightful selections. There were great options available for all dietary lifestyles, which was much appreciated. The staff was friendly, the space was beautifully decorated and festive, and the overall experience was wonderful. Highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back!

Had an amazing late lunch here. The Muhammara was even better than my fave place in Philly (which is saying something for sure). Also the tastiest falafel—not greasy or overly dry. Lamb was perfectly rare and the salad was a lovely complement. We’d love to go back for dinner. Lovely setting as well and enjoyed the music vibes.

Good food. loved our server, very attentive. Loved the vibe we truly enjoyed the Moroccan mint tea, the fattoush salad, the zatar fries was so good. chicken kabab was flavorful the pistachio feta blend was so good w pita bread. Everything fresh. Reservation a must. it got crowded for a Monday night. Never thought of having an olive oil cake we tried it and loved it. We got to meet the executive chef Ayesha which was nice.

The kebabs were my personal favorite. They were grilled to perfection. The sauces, hummus, and bread were great accompaniments. The interior feels cozy and still well lit. The service was good. The meal turned out in the $50-$100 range but we had leftovers for another.

What a lovely place! The ambience is very pretty, the staff is super nice and amazing. A 20/10 experience! I tried the Whipped Tahini dip with their freshly made pita - a combination I still dream about. Fried halloumi was also a very interesting experience. Their chicken shawarma was also pretty spot on. Finished the meal with their olive cake, absolutely loved it.

Absolutely outstanding experience! The food at Shuka was excellent — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere had a great energy without being too loud. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts was spot on. Highly recommend this place if you’re in SoHo and want a meal that’s both delicious and beautifully presented. I’ll definitely be coming back! The cocktails were creative and perfectly balanced, and the portions were just right. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. It’s rare to find a restaurant where everything — food, service, and vibe — comes together so perfectly.

Absolutely fabulous Mediterranean food. The bartenders are great and fun. The fried halloumi was beyond delicious. Soft yet coated in the crunchy layer. The lamb kebab was cooked perfectly at medium rare.

My cousins own shuka but I promise I’m not being biased! The atmosphere and vibes couldn’t have been better. I love sitting in the window during beautiful weather because they open it up and it’s indoor/outdoor dining. The Turkish coffee… TO DIE FOR. I’m not a big coffee drinker but this coffee was so delicious it didn’t even need milk. It had the perfect cinnamon taste I drank it black. We got the hummus which was obviously delicious. The shwarma is mouthwatering. The wait staff was incredible. Told them I have a dairy allergy and she actually walked through the entire menu with me circling the things I could eat. She never once made it feel like a burden I couldn’t eat dairy. Overall amazing experience and If you are ever in the area check them out!!

Shuka is located in SOHO which is a great area to walk around in before or after a meal. We had reservations ( they were packed on a weekend) and our server Luis was excellent at offering suggestions. We had a party of four people and tried two non alcoholic drinks, the blueberry mint smash and jasmine plum fizz ($10 each) which were really good. I loved the atmosphere inside with all the twinkle lights. We shared the hummus, the crispy squash blossoms and the roasted peaches to start with, my favorite was the squash blossoms. Then we tried three different kebabs, the chicken, the Merguez and the arctic char. My favorite of those was the arctic char. We enjoyed our dinner and I think the only negative is that it's pricey for the amount of food you get. Our total bill came to $177 without the tip.

The chicken kebabs were great. We got 2 portions of hummus, one seafood dip, and bread which were also great. The service was good. The ambience was somewhat dim, yet lively.

Poor value - not great if you’re European. Food was not up to par for the price. It was quite the let down having travelled intentionally to it.
