Had the best experience throwing my boyfriend’s birthday party in the club room at Sincerely, Ophelia. Nicolette, the Event Director, was on point and made sure everything ran smoothly. We did the two-hour Classic Cocktail Open Bar for 75 guests and I liked that I could cover the first hour for everyone. The space was perfect for a private event but still had that fun, lively vibe. Drinks were solid and the service was great. Definitely would book again.

I booked my 23rd birthday at Sincerely, Ophelia, and it was an amazing experience! The drinks were top-tier, the music set the perfect vibe, and the entire staff was incredibly accommodating. Nicolette, my event coordinator, was especially wonderful!! attentive, helpful, and made sure everything went smoothly. I couldn’t have asked for a better celebration, def will be back!

I had my 25th birthday party here and I had the best time! The service and staff are incredible and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. I dropped off balloons and a cake a few hours before my event and when I came back at the start time of my party they had already set up the balloons which was so thoughtful. The staff checked on my and my group multiple times throughout the night to make sure we were having a good time. I ended up leaving my disposable camera at the bar and the manager was so communicative and held it for 4 days for me. If you're considering having a party here, I highly recommend!

The event director, Nicolette, is a doll and was able to answer all my questions at a moment’s notice. The speakeasy has an all-around amazing vibe and the DJ plays amazing music (throwbacks mixed with pop/trap/edm, you name it). And they even let you control the aux in the back room. My guests danced all night and had the best time. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a space to host their event!

The venue itself is a vibe! Cozy in the right way, where there's enough room to socialize and breathe at the same time. The door girl was super friendly that night and educated me on the space with a light walk through. Definitely coming back for a cocktail or two

The entire place is lit by black light so be careful and come clean (kidding haha) Music was mainly house when I went but I hear they also play some hip hop and latin. Cocktails were decent, nothing memorable. Oh and btw they sell fried chicken sandwiches and the bathroom doors have 2 way mirrors so you can see everyone outside but noone can see you inside (unless they try hard)

the music was good and vibes were fun. but the bathrooms…..so the bathrooms have these doors with a giant cut out in the middle for there to be a mirror. but two of the three bathroom doors didnt have the mirrors in the middle. so you can see into the bathroom where someone is peeing……

The bar has one gimmick: the “hidden” door which was wide open when I walked up. Drinks were pricy, which is to be expected for the area, but the atmosphere was just not it. I went to leave after one drink but couldn’t find the exit, so a staff member condescendingly told me and my friend “babe, it’s where you came in” instead of pointing us to its actual location. Next thing I know two security guards were pressing us as we were already attempting to leave. Terrible experience.

We had heard great things about this bar, but when we arrived the bouncer said the men in our group had to pay $50 to get inside. Nowhere on the website was this fee disclosed. Apparently, the money went toward three drinks, but it is rude for an establishment to ask for it upfront. We would have most likely spent that much anyway, but it’s bad business for a bar to do this. We also had some people who don’t drink in our group, so it’s a policy that is insensitive toward people who don’t/can’t drink. The bouncer was also rude and unhelpful when we were asking him questions about this policy.

Great staff inside the bar, I spent a lot of money on friends and had a great time on the dance floor for my friends birthday. I Went out for a smoke, and was denied entry back in because I was “drunk”. I was very complacent and left immediately. I do not think I was treated fairly as I post this immediately after I was denied, I am currently drinking at the bar next door. As a bounce myself I was very disappointed in the way the minimal situation was handled.

We get there, and they say women get in free and men pay $50. So why you selling tickets online like it’s a paid entry? That’s crazy. False advertising at its finest. Inside was disgusting. Hot as hell, no air, floor sticky and covered in glass. It smelled like sweat and cheap liquor. Drinks were a joke too. $28 for some off-brand rum and Coke, and the total was so random it’s still a mystery what the actual prices even were. The DJ? Horrible. He couldn’t mix to save his life. Switching songs every few seconds like he’s in a rush, no flow, no rhythm, nothing. And not once but multiple times the music just stopped completely. Like dead silence in the middle of the night. Everyone just standing there confused. They said the party goes till 4am but by 2:40 the music was off and the staff was already cleaning like they couldn’t wait to kick people out. What’s the point of advertising till 4 if you shutting down before 3? Deadass, this place is trash. Overpriced, unorganized, and straight misleading. If you’re thinking about going, don’t. Save your money and hit literally any other spot in the city.

I don't know how people gave this place 5 star reviews especially for a birthday party but they completely ruined my friend's party yesterday. It seems they do not know how to deal with people during normal events but when I had to work an underground burlesque event with them they were extremely hospitable. I guess they can only tolerate freak offs or parties of 10.
