We went out for a lunch course to celebrate my husband's birthday. The lunch course was very reasonably priced, and the quality of the sushi was just as excellent as what you would expect in Japan. I also really appreciated the subtle American twist they incorporated into the traditional sushi. For example, they elevated the flavors by adding truffle on the salmon nigiri and a sweet onion jam on the hamachi, which worked beautifully to enhance the overall taste. Throughout the omakase, not only the chef but also a staff member came by to explain the dishes and thoughtfully refilled our water from time to time. Their attentive and caring service made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend this sushi restaurant to my friends.

Opting for the Premium Omakase menu for dinner, I found that each piece of nigiri was meticulously crafted with care and precision. The freshness of the ingredients and the high standard of preparation were evident in every bite. While the dining experience lasts only around 50 minutes, which might feel a bit rushed for a romantic date or a leisurely family gathering, it’s perfectly suited for solo diners or those seeking a focused and efficient omakase experience. Despite the time constraint, the meal itself is truly impressive—thoughtfully prepared and well worth a visit. Sushi W proves that high-quality sushi can be accessible without compromise.

Finally found an amazing lunch spot for sushi! They have a lunch omakase (didn’t do the deluxe as I do not care for salmon roe) and it was unbelievably good for the price! It was only 38 dollars with gratuity included. Unreal. The fish was incredible, I still dream about the fluke and the Spanish mackerel. The staff was attentive and informative about the sushi you’re eating, and everything moved in a timely manner. I found my new favorite lunch spot!

This was my favorite place to eat while visiting New York for my wife's birthday! The service and the food were both top notch! We got the premium omakase and it was amazing! Everything tasted so fresh and absolutely delicious. My only regret is that I didn't take a picture of every fish! The ladies attending our party were very helpful in answering any questions about what was being served and also keeping our drinks topped off. Most of the time they were standing near to describe what was being made and it was great! If I'm ever able to visit New York again I'll be back! It was such a wonderful experience. Thank you!

I had a great experience at this omakase! Its a great price for the quality that they provide and the service is also amazing- the waitresses were super kind. I had the sake pairing and there were great choices in drinks as well. (Small bonus: great music selection). I would definitely return in the future!

We had an amazing date! We arrived early to enjoy some sake. We had the standard and it was really light and fruity. The give complimentary rice crackers to enjoy with the sake. We ordered the premium Omakase and it was great! Every fish was buttery and creamy. Some of them were marinated and it decreases the freshness of the fish. The place is beautiful, they only serve 10 people at the time. So,do make reservations with time.

The taste was alright, but there was way too much wasabi. Tipping isn't required, so there was practically no service; the seating was a bit cramped.

The is cozy n cool, I like they have waiting area. Sitting arrangement it was charming. All the fish was good great but some dishes used kind of extra Wesabi. The Sheff were Spanish so some Japanese authenticity was missing for sure and staff was trying there best to read and pronounce the dishes name, kind of with 70% success. Overall the experience is nice and it's with the money with the great Food and experience. Would definitely come back.

Very affordable, I got the premium set. They use too much wasabi and few toppings so there’s very little flavor variety with each of the courses. There are other omakase’s at the same price point that I like more.

My day started off great. I planned to try two omakase and just came from Tsumo and had a great time. When we went to sushi w the quality of food and service was just terrible in comparison. The ingredients were not fresh and the handling of the sushi was poor. The ingredients were stored right next to the bathroom and the place wasnt clean. The sushi pieces that were being prepared were questionable (from the same bowl that they took the marinated tuna, the chef picked out the top 2 pieces to throw in the trash). I was eating with someone else and noticed none of the pieces were consistent in terms of portion and quality. The cuts were different sizes and other had a mountain of rice. Everything felt rushed and it was just an awful experience. The worst dish was the ikura marinade in cheap sake. The chef hands you a piece of nori and a clump of rice as he puts a random scoop of ikura with a pool of sake that tastes like an oyster shot. This is the first time i left an omakase with food left over. Save yourself the trip and avoid this spot. It feels like I've been cheated with the price and experience. I wouldn't come back.
