We came here to this super cozy and chill restaurant that feels really friendly and welcoming for any type of crowd. We sat down by their lovely flower pots and ordered a classic burger and a salmon burger. Honestly, I’d give the salmon burger a 10 out of 10—it’s unbelievably delicious! The classic burger was tasty too, but you’ve got to come here for their salmon burger, it’s just amazing! Considering the neighborhood and location, their prices are really great; especially since the food is super fresh and high-quality. I definitely recommend not just walking past this place!

My wife and I stopped by for a glass of wine and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also ordered some nachos with steak, which perfectly complemented our quick but delicious meal. I highly recommend this place!

I read in another view that the caramelized onions on their cheeseburger were fantastic. I was judging for a cheeseburger and love caramelized onions. This burger was so much more. The roll was so soft and delicious. The fries were piping hot. It was perfection. And my server was absolutely charming. This will be the place I go when I need a good burger. Apparently they also have a great brunch Wednesday through Sunday with an outrageous amount of food for $20. I’ll report back!

When you want a meal that comes out amazingly delicious starting with the warm bread and buttter. Beet salad was the best I’ve ever had. Steak was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were cooked to perfection! I would recommend to the owners on getting Moscato on the wine list. Five Stars!!

I usually start out my reviews with giving a little bit a flavor on the service, ambience, and parking. At the grand fees, two of these were very good., and the third well let’s just say most of New York City must face the same thing. I'm not from New York, so parking is a little intimidating, so I Uber there and back . But it certainly was worth a trip.. the service was so friendly and kind, my water glass always was filled, food came and left the table without me noticing and everything else you think of with excellent service. Another decor, that’s a different story. There were some lights, green lights, actually, around the bar. And overall, it was a little mix, but you come for the food anyway.. it’s certainly a good date night spot. Here's my take on the food Fried calamari - perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked. Truffle fries - cooked perfectly but lacked flavor. Brussel sprouts - really well done, a very delicious side. Penne ala Bodka - very simple, but to perfection, really delicious. Green pea truffle risotto - I gotta tell you my first bite, I wasn't sure what I was eating, because the taste of the pee was so heavy. But when I figured out what I was eating, I realize this was a very special dish, that had not gotten anywhere else in the world.. Beef Bourguignon - served over mashed potatoes, this was a very rich and satisfying dish. I would order it again 10 times.. Crispy skinned fried chicken - now this one threw me because the chicken was fried, but the skin was like you would see on a crispy duck dish that you get at your favorite Thai restaurant. Except this wasn't a Thai restaurant, it was the grand feast, and the chef told me he was actually going for that same flavor and texture that you get from crispy duck, and he succeeded.. It was a real surprise, and it was a delicious. The owners are from the Dominican Republic, and you can see some of the flavors come from those roots. But the food was so good and a grand feast it was.

Oh my goodness, this restaurant! It was my birthday yesterday and I was ill prepared this year for festivities. At the last minute my husband and I checked out The Grand Feast. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent (Continental and American fare with a few surprises), the atmosphere was old school with gentle jazz in the background, soft light and candles, and Iris, our waitress, was amazing! She handled 16 covers all by herself, flawlessly and effortlessly. No one felt neglected. I have included pictures of our meal and celebration. We had: Lamb Burger w/ Parmesan Truffle Fries (special fries for my birthday, the burger normally comes with regular fries) Gnocchi with Italian Sausage, Spinach and Tomatoes A side of sautéd Broccoli Rabe A bottle of Chateau Bonnet - a lovely red Bordeaux blend Chocolate Lava Cake They also put a candle on my cake and played special birthday music to announce the occasion. My husband and I will be back to this local gem!

Agreeing with another review that says the spot could use a makeover, but the food was great! The New York strip and gnocchi were both so solid. Truly felt like a local restaurant, which I always appreciate. Would recommend!

Just had the best Beef Bourguignon in recent memory in a sleeper of a spot, the family-run Grand Feast, whose chef and crew are well versed in the classics of French and Italian cuisine bc they cooked and staffed in serious restos. There are a wide choice of selections. The decor is a little bit film noir on acid. Don't be fooled. This is the real thing run by simpatico devotees headed by Chef Jose and Maitre d' Felipe. Super bien!!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed coming here about a month ago! We made reservations, and had a lovely meal where we were very impressed by the portions and the quality of the food as well as the service. We the seared tuna, Caesar salad, beef bourguignon, which they recommended, and the steak. All of it was great, and the server was very attentive. I also really liked the music that they played.

This is a hidden gem in the Upper West Side. Being a vegetarian, my choices are sometimes limited. Our waiter, Felipe, was very helpful and accommodating. The food was very tasty and served exactly as requested. We will definitely return and we highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious seafood fettuccine with perfectly cooked pasta and fresh, flavorful seafood. The creamy sauce was rich without being heavy. Their service was great, I’d definitely order this dish and visit again.

It took us a while to check out Grand Feast, but we’ve turned into regulars! I tried the New York strip in peppercorn sauce last night, and it exceeded all expectations. The steak was great quality meat and cooked perfectly. The sauce was very well balanced. I usually do not order steak out because it can be hard to find a good one, but I’m really glad I tried it here. They have a versatile menu and make everything very well! We’ve enjoyed the gnocchi, mussels, and burgers a lot as well over our visits.

Been here twice so far, the food is SO good. Tried the Grand Feast burger for lunch, it was massive, juicy, and tasty - fries cooked perfectly crispy. For dinner, we had the lamb and steak. They were fantastic, tender and full of flavor but, also, the chicken enchilada appetizer was imaculate. The portions were generous which was fantastic for my wife and I cause the food was so good we were happy to get to eat more later. Staff was very attentive and warm. In summary, check it out. You won't be disappointed. Bring a big appetite!

The food is in a word, Amazing. Service was polite, efficient and non-intrusive. We were a party of six. Appetizers were delicious especially the beet salad, arugula salad and spicy tuna tartare. The entrees were delicious. The ribeye and strip steaks were cooked perfectly. The chicken parmesan was great. Salmon was scrumptious. Lobster risotto was perfect. We fought over the last bites of the brussel sprouts side. If that wasn’t enough (to be frank, it was plenty) we couldn’t pass on their “home made” desserts. Chocolate mousse was heavenly. Same for the cheese cake, crème brûlée and tiramisu. Prices are very reasonable for what you receive. The atmosphere is relatively low key and you might just walk by this place without a second thought but you’d be missing out on some of the best food on the upper west side.

Came here after a night at the theater. Place was empty, which is why I'm writing this, as it shouldn't be. Waiter recommended the duck l'orange, which I had been eyeing. It was actually pretty perfect, possibly the best version I've had. My wife was pleased with her (probably not traditional) carbonara sans bacon. We finished with a wonderful tiramisu. Service was fast and friendly, and we dug the casual, LED-lit ambiance and 80s music. The menu is sort of like if a home cook assembled their strongest dishes, a sort of pan-Western mix. Feels almost "old school" in a way but the quality is there. Hope the neighborhood continues to support this place and doesn't fumble the ball.

Excellent not so hidde, unassuming gem on the Upper West Side. The menu has a little of everything, different cuisines, great wine selection. All dishes are executed fantastically. Service is always excellent as well. Great music as well, suits all guests. Stop in, you will not be disappointed.

My friend and I were recently raving about a few neighborhood restaurants when someone overheard us and recommended we try the Grand Feast on 102nd Street. We both live on West End Ave so we made it a point to try it for lunch—and we’re so glad we did! The atmosphere was cozy with nice background music, and best of all, our meals and the service were excellent. I had the burger, and I honestly can’t remember having a fresher, more delicious one. My friend loved her dish as well. Naturally, we had to try the desserts: she enjoyed the tiramisu, and I had an incredibly moist carrot cake. Philippe, the attentive and friendly maître d’, happily brought hot milk for my coffee. Also, kudos to the talented chef, Jose! It’s a pleasure having such delicious and well-prepared food in our neighborhood. We’ll definitely be back many more times.

The food here is excellent! A bit more expensive then other places in the area, but well worth the price point. The duck is some of the best I've had, and my party said similar things about their dishes. This is a hidden gem in this part of the city!

Our family chose Grand Feast to celebrate five-family birthdays, and it turned out to be the best decision. We’d heard the food was exceptional — some even said the best on the Upper West Side — and it absolutely lived up to the reputation. I’ll admit I was a little skeptical when we first walked in, since the restaurant itself is quite simple. But the manager was very accommodating and let us bring in our own tablecloth and decorations, which made the celebration feel extra personal. His attentiveness, along with the excellent service throughout the evening, set just the right tone. And then came the food, which was nothing short of outstanding – its reputation is well deserved. Every single dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Our group ordered a wide variety of items, and each one was cooked to perfection. The DUCK is their signature dish, was a highlight: tender with just the right amount of crispness, paired with an orange sauce that was not too sweet. I ordered the SHELLFISH & SHRIMP over FETTUCCINE, and it was incredible — the broth was so delicious I wished I had asked for a spoon to savor every last drop. The RISOTTO was creamy and comforting, the peas adding a nice freshness. The salmon and steak were also excellent, both cooked exactly as ordered. Honestly, it’s impressive how such a small kitchen can deliver dishes of this caliber. We took advantage of their very fair wine prices and ordered full bottles. While the selection is small, it has enough choices to make anyone happy, and we felt we were getting great value. Grand Feast isn’t fancy, but the food makes up for the decor. The service makes you feel cared for, and the whole experience feels like a hidden gem on the Upper West Side. We left full, happy, and talking about when we’ll come back and what we'll order next time.

Constructive criticism: this place needs a good makeover! The service was really good. Our waiter was attentive and super friendly. We had a few questions about the menu and they provided answers quickly. And the food didn’t disappoint us in any way. The burger and steak were juicy and cooked just as requested, and the drink list had lots to choose from with really fair prices. We didn’t get desert but there were a few really tempting options. I just can’t get past how little resources were put into making the dining room inviting. This is New York City. If you are going to be a fine dining establishment and compete with the best you should look the part. Rip out the drab basement tile, implement some kind of an interior design concept. Ambience is the other half of the restaurant experience. Nailing the food is only half the picture. Come on guys!

I don't normally leave reviews, however decided to check out the food earlier today for brunch and was surprised by the slow service. The food was okay, bland and barely any seasoning with small portions. To top it off the server breath reeked and was unbearable to smell, had made me lose my appetite. Oral hygiene is very important if you're going to be serving & talking with guests. I was just disappointed and very surprised considering the welcoming atmosphere and location of the restaurant.
