⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Service, Old-School Hospitality, Unmatched in NYC Our recent four-night stay at The Algonquin Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. I can say without hesitation that this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere in the world. The level of service, warmth, and genuine humanity displayed by the staff was remarkable — and rare, especially in a busy New York City property. At the front desk and throughout the lobby, Maria (the front desk manager) set the tone: funny, personable, and endlessly helpful. Alongside her, Marcus, Jimmy, Tenvin, and Sean each brought their own unique style, yet every interaction carried the same personal touch and joyful eagerness to help. Whether assisting guests, chatting with us while we enjoyed a cigar outside, or helping complete strangers on the street with directions, they treated everyone with the same care and respect. Watching them seamlessly balance hospitality and humanity was genuinely impressive. John, our breakfast waiter each morning, was an absolute gem. Attentive, friendly, and effortlessly warm — he made every morning start on a high note. That kind of consistency and kindness is unforgettable. A special thank-you as well to Mildred and Kaba from the housekeeping team. They were delightful throughout our stay — efficient, caring, personable, and wonderfully detail-oriented. Their pride in their work truly showed. We have stayed at Marriott properties around the globe, and as a Lifetime Titanium Bonvoy member, I don’t say this lightly: the service at The Algonquin ranks among the very best we’ve ever experienced — if not the best. We now have a home every time we visit New York City. Bravo. Well done. Truly exceptional.

Charming, historic hotel with tons of character just steps from Times Square. Loved the literary touches, the cozy Blue Bar, and the resident cat! Rooms are small but comfortable, and staff were welcoming and professional. A perfect spot if you want classic NYC vibes with a storied past. Tacos were amazing at the bar!

We picked this hotel to try and have an interesting place to stay at instead of just a tourist trap. The Algonquin has a cool history, and the current owners are still keeping amenities updated while maintaining the historical ambiance. Plus there is a resident staff cat - Hamlet. What's not to like? We did have some minor hiccups where fresh towels or water required an extra call back down to the desk to get them, but the staff was accommodating. Breakfast in the weekend mornings is busy - get there early or you'll be waiting a little bit. Food was excellent and about average price for the area.

A huge shout out for stair walkers. Each floor has about sixteen rooms and they share two antique elevators and two sets of very walkable staircases leading directly to the lobby. Well appointed rooms make full use of the space with all modern amenities. The shower-sink-vanity-toilet room is small but very functional. Active offers of service from all staff and management with friendly and courteous manners. Five minute walk to the Palladium (saw The Fixx) and between five and twenty minutes to anywhere or anything thing in Hell's Kitchen or Midtown, including Times Square, Broadway, the Diamond District and Bryant Park. Both Penn and Grand Central stations are walkable or less than 20$ for a taxi in traffic.

My true home away from home. The Algonquin is a vibe that perfectly fits me. The rooms, to me, feel like apartments. I could honestly see myself roaming the hallways and bumping into Dorothy Parker and having a drink. The front desk staff is second-to-none and the location is ideal. Then there’s our little buddy Hamlet, the resident cat, who always makes it feel like home. The Algonquin is not state-of-the-art, brand-new-everything, but it is absolutely a classy joint that fits my creative, artistic vibe. This is a gem of Marriott’s Autograph Collection and as long as I can afford it, it’s my choice for visits to NYC.

There’s a lot to like. The ambiance of the hotel takes you back to the Golden Age of Broadway. Pictures of the famous Table in the Round adorn the walls. Beautiful Art Deco architectural elements have been preserved. Hamlet VIII, the famed Algonquin cat roams the reception area like a boss. He’s a bit standoffish, but I guess that’s to be expected for a New Yorker. Rooms are small but very functional. Staff is amazing. Location is central to Time Square, Rockefeller Center and the Theatre District, but on a quiet street with very little street noise.

Charming hotel, loads of history and a nice change from some of the more cookie cutter 4 stars around mid town. Safe distance from Times Square but within walking distance of Bryant park, central Psrk, the empire state and Rockefeller. Room was cosy and the usual NYC hotel room view of next doors fire escape but every thing you need! Restaurant and bar area is lovely, - go see the cat! Had the burger which was $40 but was well worth it. There’s no room service but they’ll box anything at the restaurant / bar for you. Staff were all wonderful here!

Staying at The Algonquin is like returning to an old friend’s elegant home. Jimmy greeted us at the door with such genuine care even stopping traffic to make sure we were safe & Sharda at the front desk welcomed us with such warmth that instantly put us at ease. The bar’s hot spiced rum was an unexpected delight, and the restaurant dishes were delicious and well-priced. Housekeeping kept everything immaculate, always with kind smiles. This was my second stay, and certainly not my last. The staff is happy, they're a great team, pleasantly hospitable. Algonquin isn’t just a hotel; it’s a charming story you’re invited to live, my new home away from home in NYC!

The Algonquin Hotel is close to my heart due to its literary history. It was the home to the queen of snark Dorothy Parker, one of my favorite writers as well as The Algonquin Round Table which of course included Ms. Parker. The Algonquin was renovated a while back so I took a stroll through the lobby. Upon entering, you are in the main rooom which is livingroomesque. Couches, low music, and lacquered white shelves that line the wall with books and flowers on them. The guests were speaking in low tones and the food looked so delicious. The rooms look nice but the historical aspect of literary royalty is what seals the deal for me. If you hear any sarcasm, it could be Dorothy Parker.

Fantastic. Don't think twice. This is the best hotel in downtown Manhattan. The rooms are not spacious, but they serve their purpose for downtown Manhattan. The hotel charges a $45/night destination fee and then credits you $45/night towards food and beverages in the hotel. They also provide Lyft credits, bicycle rental code, and unlimited free bottled water. The staff, everyone working there including the manager, front desk staff, bartenders/wait staff, maintenance and cleaning people are exceptional. Everyone one was fantastic and made our stay valued. The location is second to none. No significant noise from outside, easy access to Times Square and Bryant park and metro stations. The room was exceptionally comfortable. I would give it more than five stars.

We stopped in for a drink before a show. We are longtime fans of the Algonquin and have stayed there on occasion, but not this time. Visitors interested in the hotel’s history, as we are, will be interested to know that the actual Round Table has been found (in storage upstairs,) refurbished, and rightfully placed back in the dining area where it belongs! Many, many thanks to SHIRIN (sp?) for telling us the story of the Return of the Table. A very special memory.

The Algonquin staff were exceptionally accommodating. We had a two-room suite that included a bedroom and bath with a walk-in closet, a sitting area, dining area, bar, and desk space. The classic furniture took me back to the days of hotel luxury, not merely being a place to sleep at the end of the day. There was even enough space in the room for a massage therapist to provide treatment for me. We were able to use the hotel bar after returning from a nearby theater performance. Across the street was a bank, and, of course, there were restaurants in the neighborhood. I hope to go back to stay at the historical Algonquin again.

The hotel itself has great charm. It has a lobby bar and serves food. The location is great. It’s very convenient to a lot of destinations. It’s a few blocks from the hustle of Times Square but easy enough to walk. The room size is a typical small NY room. They maximize the space having everything one expects in a room(blow dryer, toiletries, etc). I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Algonquin! The staff were amazing and wonderful to work with. We stayed in a Suite that had a wonderful layout. Housekeeping and front desk were super helpful and kind. Bartenders were fun and knowledgeable. We will absolutely be returning to this lovely hotel.

Our family of 3 had a great experience at the Algonquin. The staff was incredibly friendly from the moment we stepped foot inside the door. The location is phenomenal and located between 5th and Times Square but outside the noise. It's a historic hotel, so expect vintage vibes and small rooms. Shower worked great. Lastly, the staff was genuinely one of the best. All of those working the restaurant were wonderful and attentive. Treat yourself to ice cream at the end of the night and grab a drink.

The Algonquin is my home away from home while in NYC. It’s conveniently located and the staff is fantastic. And there’s a resident cat… need I say more?

The rooms are smaller than rooms built more recently. This hotel was built in 1902...a long way from today's norms. However they are still nice and the location is EXCELLENT if you want to be steps away from Times Square. They compensate for the smaller rooms and no pool by focusing on the service which is stellar. They are very attentive to residents needs which is nice.

Charming hotel with very cool history. Food and drink are good, rooms are small but nice, fitness and business centers are super convenient. Sean the doorman was awesome, also the porter who brought our luggage to our room but cannot remember his name he had a shaved head

Loved our stay in a King size bed in what for NYC was a large size room. Nice closet and a bathroom that had what it needed in a very small space - kudos to the designer who figured out how to maximize the functionality in a tiny space. Enough room for 1 to shower while the other person in the couple could use the sink. TV didn't seem to have streaming options, but we were in NYC, lots to see and do and walk to and very tired when we got back to our room. Very quiet - the room opened on the back side of the hotel and we even had the windows open for some cool air and it really wasn't noisy. We finally found the coffee station hidden away off the lobby, but the coffee was very good, lots of options for coffee drinks and nice selection of tea bags. The front desk staff was very engaging and gave some great recommendations, very personable. When they saw us coming back our firt night with a small bottle of milk, they asked if we wanted a fridge brought up - it arrived very quickly. As did the blankets we requested, great service. Quiet room, very happy. The mattress may be due to be changed shortly, but that was the only issue, it was ok, but not great. Overall, great stay at the Algonquin!

Charming and well-kept hotel. Wonderful service. Rooms were clean. Location great.

The staff was incredibly attentive and thoughtful in every aspect of their service. The hotel itself is old, but in the most charming way full of character and with a truly spectacular history behind it. Every corner seems to tell a story, making the stay feel unique and special. Overall, a wonderful experience thanks to the exceptional staff and the hotel’s rich heritage.

This was my first time at The Algonquin. I really enjoyed it. It's an older hotel, which I like and it's in good condition. My room was fairly small, but that's not unusual in Midtown. It was located in the back of the hotel, so it was quiet, which is unusual. The location on 44th near 6th was perfect! I was only 2-3 blocks from the shows I went to and also close to Times Square. Service at the hotel was excellent.

M
Michael Brown

The hotel overall is a classic, but the room is doing a little bit of care and upgrade. The lobby is nice, but the staff no matter who we talk to were just average. I don’t understand why they charge $45 a night for a hotel service charge, but then give it back to you to use in their bar dining room.

s
samantha haynes

Had a great two nights at the Algonquin. The hotel is beautiful, quiet and stylish. I especially want to give a shout out to Jimmy for making us feel welcomed. We really enjoyed chatting with him throughout the days of our stay. All the staff are exceptionally kind and hospitable. I would love to come back! The only reason I didn’t give a full 5 star is because on our last night, some kind of gadget (maybe the AC unit?) was making a constant beeping sound that we couldn’t troubleshoot to turn off and it kept me up from about 4 am to 9 am.

S
Sabrina Reming

If you enjoy a quirky hotel with character and history, you will enjoy The Algonquin. We thought the location was ideal, with lots of nearby attractions within walking distance, plus lots of excellent dining options. Read all about the history of the cat in residence (and of course the storied literary history).

Great location. The entire staff, especially the doorman were great. Our cleaner was so kind. The staff made the trip. The room was not as great. The rooms are very small, which is understandable in NYC but the AC didn't work that good. Super hot at night. Bathroom sink was so tiny compared to other hotels there. Great staff, loved that it had a bar downstairs.

Overall a great hotel in a great location. Quiet and comfortable rooms with plenty of outlets for charging. However, dinged them for the $45 "destination fee" and the outlandish dining room prices.

Service in restaurant is poor. The wait staff are never visible and takes forever for them to appear to take an order. The breakfast sandwich was really good and bed super comfy.

The hospitality was fantastic all around, a great stay! The only real downside was the Hamlet has retired and we were excited to meet him. The rooms are small, but that’s expected in NYC. Depending on your needs, there is not a fridge or microwave in the room but there is ice available. There’s also a lot of street noise - but again - expected in NYC. We put the room’s fan on and it drowned out the street noise pretty well. We enjoyed the hotel’s proximity to Bryant Park, Grand Central Station, and Times Square. The food and drink at The Blue Bar were good as well - we used our daily $45 resort fee there. We’d stay here again - after the new concierge cat is on board!

Smallish hotel with an interesting history. Our room was nice. There was nothing wrong with it, but there was nothing extraordinary about it either. We tend to stay in the mid-range hotels, and spending $400-$500 a night is not a crazy expense for us. I'm just not used to hotel prices in NYC. Compared to other hotels in the area, this was a bargain. My bill for 2 nights was around $1100. The location was absolutely perfect. Walking distance to the Theater District and Times Square. The staff at reception was friendly, cordial, and very helpful. The rest of the staff left me feeling that they were annoyed if I asked for anything. Maybe it's a New York thing. Overall, considering price and location, I give it a thumbs-up and would stay there again.

3.5/5 Mediocre stay at the Algonquin Hotel. Ok overall, but hotel is quite overpriced, rooms are small and outdated, and front desk service is unfriendly. Treat guests like it’s a privilege for them to stay there. Charge $45 resort fee - which gives you credit at the bar. Don’t like the forced spending fee - very annoying. The best pro of the hotel is location - a few blocks away from Rockefeller center and Rockettes show. Great location for sightseeing and shopping. Front door staff is super friendly. Overall, fine stay but don’t recommend.

Cons: Restaurant:Don't bother with the food here. It's subpar quality at higher than normal prices. My continental breakfast ($28) was vegan coconut yogurt with fruit and a basket of pastries. The yogurt was alright but the pastries were beyond disappointing (gas station quality at best). They give you $45 credit to charge to the room per day. Spend it on the drinks (the Algonquin is delicious!) because the food and the food service there are very meh. The rooms are on the smaller side and a little stuffy. The room size is to be expected but I was kind of surprised by how stuffy the room was. No matter how high the air conditioning was turned up to, there was always humidity lingering in the air.p Pros: Location, location, location! The hotel is blocks away from Bryant Park (home of the New York Public Library) and Times Square but yet secluded enough to be pretty quiet for sleeping. Bathrooms were modern and very nice. Service at the desk and the door were excellent. They even provided a pack n play for my little one to sleep in!

I’m giving it a 3 because I liked the coffee. It was so disappointing for an Autograph Collection hotel. Jennie at the front desk was great. She was very pleasant. Was able to get in to room before 4pm. The room was not great. Ripped window shades, broken, non working light fixtures, flies in the shower. Stains on the inside of the robe. Came back in the evening at about 8pm. There was no bellman, and the girl behind the desk sat and watched me struggle to get a cart (I had 6 bags). I had to ask her if there was a bellman, and she peered over the desk and said, “no.” No explanation; no apology; no offer to help. Your front desk/reception area sets the ENTIRE tone for service. I was told the next day that they were short staffed because someone called out. Would not recommend, and wouldn’t stay there again. Very disappointed.

First the good: gorgeous building in an outstanding location with some wonderful staff! Dana at the front desk was especially helpful. And there's nothing like the wrought iron balustrades on the marble stairs, and exquisite molding on all ceilings which has been kept up well over 120+ years. But we arrived to learn that there is no room service at any time. Fortunately nearby street food is pretty good. The rooms are small, even for an upgraded "larger size" queen. The bed head is right next to the door, with the bathroom opposite, so from the bed we heard ever door on the hallway open and close. The shower door has large gaps so water runs all over the floor, and TP is flimsy. Window AC is very noisy. I get that the building is old, but mini-splits have been around for at least 50 years. Then there was breakfast. Great food - nobody does bagels and smoked fish like New York. But we were in a rush and let the server know this - and food took a very long time to reach us. Another couple arrived after we ordered, ordered the same smoked salmon, and got their food before we did! At that point I told the server we needed our food to go. But instead, he brought it out 5 minutes later on eat-in plates! We said, no, we really need it to go, which took another five minutes. So a gorgeous but disappointing room, with terrific front desk staff, no room service, and lousy service at breakfast. Not a horrible stay, but also not what I expected at an Autograph Collection hotel.

I have stayed at the Algonquin many times through the years and it has always been a nice experience. Not so much this time. The location is excellent, but the staff at the front desk was not very welcoming. The room, a suite, was old and had issues including a non-working TV, no conditioner in the bathroom, nonworking light above the bed, and very erratic heat. All of this for a very steep price. No refrigerator, the safe was locked, and no extras at all. I understand that New York is expensive, but there was no effort put into our stay. We’ll be staying elsewhere next time.

C
Charlotte Krippner

My check-in experience was very disappointing. When I first arrived, I was guided to the front desk and before even acknowledging me, the associate (Malissa D) immediately yelled “I’ll be with you when I’m ready” without even looking up. I asked if they had a business center and again, without eye contact, she just said “on the second floor.” Considering I had just walked in, I didn’t even know where the elevator was and she offered no guidance. Throughout the entire interaction, Malissa D never smiled, was extremely aggressive in her tone, and made me feel completely unwelcome. This is not the type of service I would expect, especially during the first impression of a stay.

The smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed at in my life. If there were a category for most overpriced hotel or value for the money, this hotel has the lowest value for the money I’ve ever stayed at. Along with your $1000 a night stay you get a credit to use in the restaurant or wherever. At 11:35 AM I went to the restaurant and asked for a lunch menu. I was told they didn’t start serving lunch until 12 o’clock. No bend. Comically, small rooms and poor restaurants service. Find a better option.

Staying at The Algonquin Hotel Times Square was a real letdown, especially considering the price tag. Honestly, it just wasn't worth the money. The rooms felt dated, like they hadn't seen a refresh in ages. And that smell in the lobby? Definitely not the welcoming vibe you'd hope for. To top it off, the staff I encountered weren't particularly friendly or helpful. It felt like pulling teeth to get any kind of assistance. The only saving grace for this place is its location – being in Times Square is undeniably convenient. But even with that prime spot, the negatives far outweighed the positive. Overall, I wouldn't recommend The Algonquin Hotel Times Square. There are definitely better options out there for your money.

Genuinely bad. For context, I’m a Hyatt Globalist (consistently spend 60+ nights in hotels per year), and wanted to give Marriott an open-minded chance. I’m now glad to know choosing Hyatt over Marriott was the correct move. Stayed at this hotel in December where I stood at the bar for 20 minutes without being served, and then decided to leave without anything. The room has a significantly marked desk, an unclean shower glass wall, and smells like old dirty carpet. Small details like rough single ply toilet paper make it evident that the hotel cuts corners. The bathroom comes with disposable paper cups wrapped in plastic, and the soap is bolted to the wall like a Holiday Inn Express, which, for the price point, is unacceptable. For anyone loyal to Marriott, I urge you to try alternatives.

The Algonquin was fine for a weekend stay, but I won’t be returning. The building is historic and charming, and the food and drinks at the hotel’s restaurant/bar were good. However, the front desk staff left a lot to be desired. I had two separate negative interactions with two different staff members; both were rude, short, and unwelcoming, even during a simple check-in. I’m typically very understanding, but the consistent lack of courtesy was disappointing. The rooms were fine, but the experience at the front desk really soured our stay.

Beautiful hotel, hotel staff was gracious- the bald doorman was absolutley disgraceful. I hailed a cab and was waiting for my grandma to come down and she is disabled and was talking a few minutes with my brother and the doorman cursed me out because I was waiting in front of the hotel- telling me to move- i told him I was a guest and he said he didn't care. Terrible way to treat a guest or anyone for that matter. 755pm 9/13 Teach your employees to do better or hire better people.

Rooms are too old and of a 2 star quality. Bathroom and carpet are dirty and dusty. Towels and amenities are poor. Iron is broken. Shower door doesn’t close and leak water all over. AC is super loud. Alarm went on at 6am. Will never return.

Bed bugs in the rooms!! I’m an Ambassador Elite and have stayed at many properties in New York City. This is by far the oldest and saw this bug as soon as I walked into the room. There were others hidden behind the headboard too… Immediately checked out and went to a different property. Extremely disappointed with the experience. Staff were apologetic and nice, but I will not risk bodily harm and I could tell this hotel has not been refurbished in years. Carpets were bubbly, radiators popping out with lint/dirt, bathrooms were extremely tiny, very poor lighting within the rooms. For $500+ a night, I’d at least expect decent space, clean rooms, and it doesn’t feel like 1902. For those looking to stay, be warned…

Stayed here for five nights, and honestly, I was really disappointed. The rooms are terrible—bed sinks in the middle, making it so uncomfortable to sleep. The room was dusty, and the bathroom was super tiny, with hot water taking forever to come through. The lady at reception (Hispanic, I believe) was not helpful at all. She had a rude attitude, looked annoyed every time we asked something, and couldn’t even help with questions about extra charges on breakfast because she “didn’t have access to check bills.” It felt like customer service was just not a priority. The view was non-existent, just facing another building, so if you’re expecting a nice outlook, forget it. No amenities in the building either, which was a letdown. Even the doorman seemed pretty useless. Honestly, for a Marriott, this was really disappointing. They seriously need to consider renovating or at least upgrading the customer service. Wouldn’t recommend it, especially for the price.

We are Titanium Elite Marriott Bonvoy Members. We stay in Marriott Hotels 5-6 days a week. This is the most Pathetic and Unprofessional Property we have ever encountered. The front desk staff are rude arrogant and disrespectful! We were able to find out and write down the 2 who were the most rude. Maria and Marissa! I don't know who hired these two and why they are still employed, they should not be employed in any position that involves public interaction. The two bartenders from the Dominican republic were very professional. They should be the food and beverage managers. The beverage manager who was a mexican man was a joke. He came to our bartender and asked the bartender for something in Spanish. He didn't know my wife was born in Spain and spoke fluent Spanish. The bartender told the manager he was helping us. The little mexican manager said "they can wait, I come first." All the while not knowing my wife understood the whole conversation. Four of the wait staff stared at my wife and some of the other women and made her feel uncomfortable. We did not get their names. The valet Sean was excellent. The bell hop who was of Asian decent was excellent. They should be running the hotel. The rooms were dated, as we expected. The suite they gave us on the 3rd floor looked completely different than our Marriott Bonvoy photo. My advice steer clear of this Hotel until the Hotel manager wises up and puts a Professional staff at the front desk and in the dining room.......

I loved nearly everything about the Algonquin Hotel — the location is excellent, the atmosphere is charming, and the classic decor adds a wonderful touch of old New York. Unfortunately, one serious issue detracted from the experience: the mattress. It was extremely worn, lumpy, and clearly very old — to the point where getting a good night's sleep was nearly impossible. In a light-hearted moment, I joked that it might be the original mattress from the 1930s. What made this worse was learning from a hotel maintenance employee that the issue is known internally. He expressed his own frustration, mentioning that the mattresses can’t even be flipped anymore and, surprisingly, that there’s no plan to replace them. If sleep quality is important to you, this could be a dealbreaker. I hope management reconsiders their priorities soon — this beautiful hotel deserves better.

Horrible hotel. Rooms are very old, very small, and very loud at top floor Has the loudest AC you’ll ever meet in your life Unfriendly staff Destination fee

The front desk is hostile and unprofessional. The AC that runs in the rooms is unbearably loud. Really terrible experience, couldn’t pay be to stay here. I cancelled and went to a different hotel same day. No one opened the door on my arrival. No one helped me with luggage upon entering, bringing it up to the room, and they offered to switch my room and when I went to the lobby she said “where’s your luggage? Go get it” just like that. My check in process was dismissive and extremely rushed. The management staff needs to send a friend as a secret guest over the course of a weekend or two to check in, make a few requests, eat, and really note how the front desk behaves when management isn’t there. My issues happened on a Sunday and there is ONLY a food and beverage manager on site, it was like pulling teeth with the front desk to get him. At first they told me they didn’t have a supervisor for them at the front desk… at all. Which is why, I’m sure, they were so emboldened to be nasty and dismissive. There can be no way they act like that when management is around. If they do, management is the issue here. I’ve stayed in hotels in Asia for as little as $45 a night and still rave about it because of how kindly I was treated. They need higher customer service standards. Professionalism and communication should be a bare minimum and they fall short.

Beautiful hotel but HORRIBLE service. Don’t be in a rush to check in or out, and definitely check your room 3 times before you leave. If you forget something YOU pay to get it back. You could spend $600 on a room for less than 24 hours and spend $300+ entertaining clients at the bar, but even if you have status with Marriott, they don’t care about you.

If I could give 0 starts on service I would. I called to simply ask a few questions about a reservation my company made of 3 rooms for a week long stay and the front desk representative Marissa was extremely rude. Do not stay at this hotel if you plan to interact with the front desk- do all online and self check in, otherwise you are in for a VERY RUDE experience.

Poor experience - The hotel is beautiful, I didn’t make it past the front desk. The doorman was aggressive. The front desk staff seemed reluctant to be help me, and “could not find my reservation” but did not offer any resolution. I left and went to a different hotel. Other guests seemed to be treated well - I am black…..

We were so excited for our stay until we actually arrived. Patrice was less than considerate to say the least. She was very unhelpful with checking in and for someone that has stayed at a reserve property in Thailand made me think twice about ever booking with Marriott. On one occasion we were next in line and Patrice looked to the customers behind us and started asking them to come to the front and completely disregarded us as if we were not there and then when we looked at her and said we were next, she gave us a dirty smirk. Throughout the rest of the day, we would see her at the front desk and she would not even look our way. Completely disrespectful and unprofessional.
