⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding! First time visiting NYC and Tony’s Di Napoli completely blew me away. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home — friendly, prompt, and professional. The atmosphere is classic New York: lively yet comfortable, with beautiful artwork and an inviting, spotless dining room. We started with the mushrooms appetizer and a fresh salad, both full of flavor, and the veal parm was absolutely incredible — tender, rich, and perfectly cooked. Every bite was a reminder of why this place has such a great reputation. Couldn’t be happier with the experience. Already craving the food again — I’ll definitely be back

Tony's Di Napoli was hands down the best food we had in the city. We were lucky enough to snag two spots at the bar—and thank goodness we did—because this meal was incredible. I ordered the chicken parmesan and it was absolutely amazing: perfectly cooked, flavorful, and classic in the best way. My husband ordered ravioli but was accidentally served rigatoni instead. Honestly, no big deal—he just ate what was brought out, and it ended up being very good. We tried to go back another day and it was so packed there was absolutely no chance of getting a spot. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation—this place is clearly popular for a reason and 100% worth it.

Amazing amazing amazing... Everything is so good... Very friendly staff. Reservation was at 8:45, but we arrived 1 hr earlier and they managed to arrange a table for us even though it was a full house. Food was great. Portions were huge, but not on the expense of quality. We really enjoyed the experience overall.

Tony’s Di Napoli is a classic New York Italian restaurant that truly captures the spirit of traditional Italian-American dining. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, ideal for groups or family meals. The portions are huge and meant to be shared, especially favorites like chicken parmigiana, baked ziti, and lasagna—rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The staff is attentive and friendly, even during busy hours. If you’re visiting NYC and looking for a warm, authentic Italian dining experience in the heart of Manhattan, Tony’s Di Napoli is a fantastic and satisfying choice.

Incredible. The dinner platters are large enough for 2 to 3 people (keep that in mind) the chicken and shrimp special for this week was amazing. The chicken was cooked perfectly. We also had the meatballs for an appetizer. The service was excellent as well. It does get loud in there.

S
Sam Stow

The food at tony's was exceptional. The meatballs were great particularly the tomato sauce. We shared 2 mains and 1 side between 5 of us. The tiramisu was also a highlight.

This place is amazing! My daughter, a family friend, and I took a girl trip to NYC. We were leaving at 7 on the bus home and could only get reservations at 6 at Tony’s but we found a place at the bar and Carlos, the bartender, said we could eat there. He asked what time we had to be out and rushed our order for us. The food was delicious. My daughter and I had spaghetti and meatballs and I got a side of spinach. The friend got chicken Parmesan. Everything we ate was so good we could barely stop eating. Then, since we had to move down 1 spot at the bar, Carlos gave us a price of creamy cheesecake that we all shared and loved. While there, we heard singing for a birthday. They actually serenaded the birthday girl and then the whole restaurant joined in. It was fun. Highly recommend and will go back on future visits.

Finally get to have time to come back to Tony’s, their pasta is amazingly good. Portion here are family size (American size) so if is under 3 people, a half a portion plus an appetizer will be sufficient. Highly recommended the seafood black ink linguine. The service here is very friendly and helpful. They do hang a lot of figures of the broadway stars around the wall.

LOVED this delicious Italian food! It’s the best we’ve tasted in NYC! All the dishes are huge, so bring friends to share it with. We loved all the sauces and the pepperoni pork thing with hot honey was unlike anything I’ve ever had before. Great cocktails! What a beautiful experience and our server, AG, was very attentive and delightful to talk to. Highly recommend!

I absolutely LOVE coming here with my children! The food is amazing and enough to share. They even advise you to order one plate per 2 people because the servings are a lot. The service is great, and the atmosphere is beautiful. I try to go at least once every year.

Hands down an incredible dining experience! The staff is friendly and inviting, the walls are adorned with paintings of different celebrities who have dined at the location. Every dish was better than the last - highlight for me was the Osso Buco... delightfully delicious! The Pepperoni Pork Chop was spicy and scrumptious as well - highly recommended! The Tiramisu was unreal, and the Exotic Tartufo was to die for. We had so many other delicious dishes as well - honestly, everything was tasty and filling. Very highly recommended.

Had dinner at Tony’s Di Napoli , it’s a lively, old-school Italian spot with big portions and a classic NYC vibe. I had a vegetarian pasta and a couple sides. The food was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but comforting and filling. Great for sharing, especially with a group. If you’re vegetarian, there are a few solid options, but it’s definitely more about the overall experience than standout flavors

Fantastic, old school, New York City, Italian spot!!! Delicious, gigantic portions and excellent drinks with down to earth wait staff. Oh and that Chicken Parm! 🤤

Tony’s di Napoli is a welcoming spot in a very convenient location near Times Square. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the venue itself is well kept, making it an enjoyable place to sit down and unwind after a day in the city. The food isn’t 100% traditional Italian, but the overall quality is definitely above average and it delivers well for the style of dining you’d expect in this area. I ordered the linguine seafood pasta, and the portion was extremely generous—more than satisfying and well suited for anyone looking for a hearty meal. Pricing was also reasonable considering the New York setting and the location, and it felt in line with what you get in terms of ambience and service. A nice extra touch was the Italian music in the background, which added to the experience and made the evening feel even more pleasant. Overall, a good choice for a relaxed dinner near Times Square.

**Restaurant Review: A Culinary Gem in the Heart of New York** During my recent visit to the vibrant city of New York, I had the distinct pleasure of dining at a remarkable restaurant that effortlessly combines exquisite cuisine with an enchanting atmosphere. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by an ambiance that radiated warmth and sophistication, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The highlight of our visit, without a doubt, was the impeccable service provided by Timmy. His cheerful demeanor and unwavering attentiveness made us feel like valued guests at every moment. Timmy's genuine enthusiasm and dedication to ensuring our comfort were truly remarkable, creating an environment that was both inviting and energizing. As for the culinary delights we savored, the mixed seafood pasta with white sauce was nothing short of a masterpiece. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, showcasing the freshest ingredients and culinary expertise. We also indulged in the Italian cheesecake, which was, without question, the finest cheesecake we have ever had the pleasure of tasting. Its creamy texture and perfect balance of sweetness left us in awe, making it a memorable conclusion to our meal. In summary, this restaurant stands out not only for its delectable dishes but also for its exceptional service and welcoming atmosphere. Timmy exemplified what it means to provide outstanding hospitality, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. I wholeheartedly recommend this culinary gem to anyone visiting New York—it's an experience that should not be missed!

This was absolute fabulous. I went here to go get some dinner and made some reservations. Our hotel was close to it, the hotel is the Casablanca Hotel. We got spaghetti and meatballs and it was HUGE! It said we had to share it and now I understand of why that is. The service was very nice too. The photographer took a photo with us enjoying our meal.

My friends and I came here before a Broadway show and I have to say I was impressed with the food, service and drinks. A very extensive menu. We ordered the baked clams and shrimp scampi as appertizers...we ordered the house salad with salata cheese , chicken parmagian and penne in vodka sauce. We requested mushrooms with the pasta..it was great. Portions are huge..family style..this fed 3 of us and we had left overs..we also ordered the mango tartuffo-excellent!! Service was excellent. Reservations is recommended!! Place was completly full.

The weekly special home made pasta with vodka sauce was amazing, the Caesar salad is not so good but the pasta was amazing.

Really enjoyed the food, especially the rigatoni alla vodka. The dining area is a bit dim. There were three of us who shared the food, but because there were large servings, we were still able to take home some of it.

Absolutely wonderful experience. It was my first time in NYC and our waiter Bobby was so welcoming and friendly. Awesome guy! Enjoyed talking baseball/Yankees with him. We had the chicken parm and rigatoni a la vodka. Easily some of the best Italian food you'll ever have.

It’s always a risk finding a restaurant near Times Square but this place delivered. I had a work team dinner here and everyone walked away satisfied. We shared a bunch of apps and all were great, especially the meatballs. The entrees were family style and every dish was a home run. Definitely stop by.

As an Italian food lover, I didn’t hesitate to try this restaurant when the opportunity arose. We went on a Wednesday around 6:30 PM, and the place was packed. I was grateful we had made a reservation—there was a line out the door. It took about 10 minutes to be seated. I always enjoy the artwork on the walls, which features cartoon-style portraits of various artists. The ambiance was dimly lit, just the way I like it. The food was spectacular! We started with a Caesar salad prepared tableside—I loved that touch. For an appetizer, we had the Mozzarella en Carrozza, which was excellent. For our main courses, we ordered the Rigatoni with Vodka and Mushrooms—absolutely delicious—and the Chicken Parmigiana, which was just as satisfying.

A
Arely Rodriguez

We walked in without an appointment and Albert the manager had us in a table super quick, the staff and service is amazing Kush went above and beyond to take care of us. The food is delicious and goes a long way. Do yourself a favor and try the NY cheesecake. Great job to all the staff for making a welcoming environment.

Great restaurant - must visit. Delicious food, very large portions (1 plate for two people). Pleasant atmosphere and staff. Yes its is crowded and noisy (as everywhere in NY) and you need to book a table in advance, but this is clear, because it is the best Italian restaurant in New York. Prices are nice. We were offered free water and bread while we waited for our ordered dishes. We couldn't eat everything and packed it take away. P.S: it was very cute when the waiter started singing Italian songs in an incredibly beautiful voice

What a fabulous meal. Don’t let people tell you this is a “tourist trap”. We found the family style dining amazing. We ordered the Caesar Salad, baked ziti bolognese, and the chicken parm. So good. The marinara tastes so robust and fresh. And, our waiter, Denny, was excellent. The bill was like $110 for four people. That’s a deal! Thank you Tony’s and Denny, from your friends from Georgia!

A great Italian restaurant in the heart of Manhattan! Not far from Times Square, we found this lovely place, with a great atmosphere and pretty huge dishes. We especially enjoyed the truffle ravioli on the special menu for the night. The service was great as well, with great curtesy and recommendations about the menu, which proved to be excellent. Highly recommended!

L

The food was absolutely amazing! Fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. You can tell how much care goes into everything here. I chose to sit at the bar to avoid the line, and the bartenders couldn’t have been more kind and attentive. The whole experience was wonderful, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

The food is really good but keep in mind that the portions are huge. The place can get pretty loud, but the staff is very friendly. Definitely would go back.

During our trip to New York, we had the great fortune to experience maybe one of the best Italian meals I have had in the States. I have been to Italy several times so I have a point of reference. The food was amazing from the salad to the dessert, everything was magnificent. Our server was perfect. She was friendly, made great recommendations and was very attentive to our needs. The decor was very classy. If you are in the Time Square area, you must try Tony’s Di Napoli, you will not be disappointed.

Family style dining, we shared 3 plates and a salad among 6 people. Food was delicious, it took long but the wait was worth it. Wine selection was enjoyed by everyone, as well as some prosecco, and digestive limoncellos. Waiters were a bit snappy, but we'll just say it was a crowded night in NY ;) They offer souvenir pictures in a glass picture frame.

C
C Lee

We visited this location on Indigenous People’s/Columbus Day at 7pm and it was crowded! Inside was pretty cramped and loud. We ordered a chopped antipasto salad to start and it was your classic Italian chopped salad with garbanzo beans, olives, salami, etc. Wish it had a little more lettuce. For our mains we ordered the veal parmigiana, rigatoni alla vodka and broccoli rabe. The veal was DELICIOUS…meat was tender, sauce wasn’t too tart and it had cheesy goodness all over. Rigatoni was also good and had mushrooms which broke up the monotony. Broccoli rabe was only ok…some stems were really tough and stringy. We ended with Italian cheesecake and it also was only ok…texture was grainy like small curd cottage cheese and it had a hint of lemon. If you want a lighter cheesecake you might like this. PSA: sodas don’t come with free refills and at the time of posting each soda was $3.50. Finally, it’s worth mentioning that when we sat down, an opera trained server was serenading birthday guests but by the time we were done he stopped which was a bummer because we did have a birthday girl in our party.

D
Dishant Deepak

Amazing food which is served in a family style platter good for 2 (3 for low-appetite folks). We had the spaghetti with meatballs and spaghetti with shrimp. It was superb! Ask for Riccardo! And if you're lucky, you'll hear him perform an Opera right there in the restaurant!

N
Natalia

Great Italian-American cuisine with very generous portions! The vibe was lively — and the service was really nice. It’s a great spot for big groups, and even without a reservation we were able to walk right in. It is quite loud, but in a fun way that adds to the atmosphere. We really enjoyed the food, though the portions were so big we couldn’t finish. Overall, a very positive experience!

Tony’s Di Napoli is such a fun and satisfying dining experience from start to finish. It’s a great spot with very reasonable prices, especially considering the huge family-style portions they serve. You definitely get your money’s worth here—and then some. We ordered the chicken parm and a house salad, and both were spot on. The chicken parm was classic, comforting, and full of flavor, and the portions were big enough to feed a small army (or guarantee leftovers, which is always a win). The house salad was fresh, well-balanced, and the perfect complement to the meal. What really made the experience memorable, though, was the atmosphere and service. Our waiter actually sang two songs to the restaurant while we were there—unexpected, entertaining, and just plain fun. It added such a lively, joyful vibe and really made the night feel special. You can tell this place doesn’t just serve food; it serves an experience. Overall, Tony’s Di Napoli is a fantastic choice for good food, great value, and a lively, feel-good atmosphere. Perfect for groups, celebrations, or just a night out where you want to eat well and leave smiling.

Ordered Fettucine Alfredo to go. The order was ready for pick-up as ordered. The portion is really huge - it was actually enough for three meals:). The pasta is delicious. Definitely a recommendation.

Wow, what a fantastic spot. My fiancé and I popped in and sat at the bar. The bartenders were incredible and attentive. We ordered half plates - I got a vodka sauce pasta with lobster, crab and shrimp that was slightly sweet and slightly spicy. HEAVENLY. My fiancé ordered a pasta with mussels, squid, and shrimp and despite it being a half size, it was HUGE! We tried the strawberry shortcake and once again, HUUUUGE portion. It would take at least 4 people to finish it all. Truly a great experience and even better food! Will be back.

I took my boyfriend for the first time to NYC. Our experience at Tony’s was amazing. Outstanding service by Jamie! Probably the BEST Spaghetti & Meatballs I have ever eaten!!! Service was TOP NOTCH!!! Portions are family style, so we made a few meals out of the serving portions!!! We barely put a dent in it!!! Check it out...you will not regret it!!!

Food was superb - beautiful and delicious! Portions are huge! Photos of half Caesar, half chicken piccata and half spaghetti marinara. Bread and house chianti (poured straight from straw basket bottle) were excellent, too! Reservations highly recommended for this very popular restaurant just steps from Times Square.

We came here for Christmas Eve dinner and it was great! The chicken parm & the tri colored tortellini alfredo were out of this world. Highly recommend!

M

The portion sizes are big and dishes are meant to be shared. Our party of 4 ordered one appetizer, one salad and one entree. That was perfect - we were satisfied but not stuffed. The food was delicious, service could be better but it was busy, so I will cut them some slack. Would certainly return for more!

J

Yes it's a bit of a tourist trap, but where else can you grab a 20 top for 3 hour business lunch quick in the area. Also can complain if you aren't paying and the wine flows freely. The food came out leisurely in pace with the atmosphere, shrimp, baked clams and calamari perfect as expected. Baked potato, chicken, penne and thick cuts of medium rare steak👌. The final variety dessert platter just diabetes inducing.

Excellent service, lots of seating and the food was delicious. Great alternative to a famous Italian eatery in New York. Definitely same or better quality of food! Large portions! It's just an all-around wonderfully tasteful experience!! Book in advance! Family styled portions serving 2-3 people pee dish.

What an amazing place. You couldn't ask for a better Italian dinner place. Every moment in the process from getting a reservation to sitting down and enjoying our amazing meal was perfect. Our waiter even sang songs that had the whole place singing.

We had a nice family style dinner with a group of 11. Made a reservation status as quickly downstairs had a really nice old school Italian feel Gabriel was our survey and was very attentive and everyone enjoyed the food we had stuffed mushrooms calamari, veal Parmesan shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. You could see every large table was enjoying themselves with the family style set up.

I've been coming here for year and have NEVER been disappointed!! The food is AMAZING!! Service and atmosphere are GREAT. I will continue to keep coming back because of this. It's not necessary but making a reservation is a good idea because they are always busy.

if you get the chance, be sure to visit Tony Di Napoli in Times Square. Italian restaurant, the atmosphere is like from old movies about Italians in America. Friendly, helpful, unobtrusive staff. The food is exquisite, don't be fooled by the price because one portion is definitely for two people. We ate Chichen Parmiggiana and Rigattone in vodka sauce. We took half a portion of each dish and ate our fill. We recommend!

What a great place to go for really delicious Italian food after you see a show in New York… This place is off the charts… Just a few steps away from Times Square, it’s really really good !! Get Rick as your waiter, he’s the best, and get your picture taken by Elizabeth the photographer, Ciro is the manager and he came over to make sure that all was well, what a gentleman, it was a perfect night, dinner and a show… What a night and a lot of memories !!

As a Brit, you grow up watching movies like The Godfather and thats how you see old school Italian American restaurants in New York. But what the movies didn't show was how good the food was or the amazing atmosphere of these storied institutions, and Tony's is one of them for me. The food was simple and exemplary, the manager told us the guy that makes the sauce has been doing it for 30 years and it shows. Beware though, when it says portions feed 2 to 3 people they really mean it! The floor staff are personable and when I say efficient, I mean they work as a well oiled machine on the dining room floor, it's a symphony of grace and gnocchi, a joy to watch. Go for the food, stay for the show, and as one famous mobster once said "leave the gun and take the cannoli"

Dining at Tony's Di Napoli was truly one of the most fun and memorable stops on our New York trip. The restaurant has a beautiful, classic Italian setup and design that instantly gives you the feeling of being in Italy. I loved the walls covered with photos of so many famous people, it adds so much character and history to the place. The food was fairly good, though for me it felt more Americanized than truly authentic Italian. That said, the portions are absolutely massive. Whatever you order, keep in mind that at least three people can easily share one dish and feel completely full. The atmosphere is outstanding, but the absolute best part of this place is the staff. They are incredible, so friendly, fun to talk to, and clearly experienced with guests from all over the world. Their energy, warmth, and sense of humor made our visit even more enjoyable. We truly enjoyed the conversations and the overall vibe. This was definitely one of our best stops in New York.

DELICIOUS food! Been here twice and it is Absolutely amazing! Has the cutest atmosphere, men singing, beautiful restaurant, great costumer service. I’d recommend the rigatoni al vodka pasta and cavatelli, broccoli rabe and sausage. So so so good and if you’re visiting New York would recommend stopping here

This restaurant is a full experience I would say. Service is super friendly and helpful. And there is show while you eat. One of the waiters sings in Italian and they want you to participate applauding along. It was a shock at first but so enjoyable. Food was delicious but massive quantity, it’s meant to be shared. It was a bit pricey, but after seeing the quantity and the atmosphere, it’s understandable. Maybe it would be better for a bigger group, but it was nice for a couple too. Restaurant was clean and toilets too. They were downstairs.

The italian-american experience that we were looking for. Nice place, huge portions meant to be shared, and prices according to the quality of the food and the environment. We had the fettuccini al fredo and the ravioli Bolognese, crowning the experience with a tiramisu. Solid order for three hungry males. Drinking tap water and some diet cokes we spent 43 USD per person, including tip and tax.

This is a family style restaurant, it says each order is good for 2-3 people but it’s actually good for 4 if your have a normal appetite. The food was very good, so was service. There’s a waiter who loved to sing. He will sing a Happy Birthday song plus another song to a birthday table. During our dinner there, he sang 6 songs. He is actually pretty good. I think he enjoyed more than the birthday person. 🤣 it’s definitely worth dining there.

Food was superb, will definitely be back to try other menu items. Wait staff were all super nice. Only slight negative was it was super crowded and therefore hard to navigate a path through to the bathrooms. It could also have been a bit brighter, but that's nit picking i guess. Wait time was around 2 hours dinnertime on a sunday for 3

We had a great experience at Tony Di Napoli’s in Manhattan! The food was fantastic, we especially loved the spaghetti and meatballs and the fettuccine, both perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The service was friendly, fast, and made us feel right at home. The whole atmosphere has that warm, lively New York Italian charm that makes dining there such a pleasure. Highly recommend Tony Di Napoli’s for anyone looking for delicious, classic Italian food and excellent service in the heart of the city! 🍝🇮🇹

There’s always a huge line and the dining room is constantly packed — but it’s absolutely worth it. Really worth it. The food at Tony’s Di Napoli is delicious, and the portions are massive. One entrée can easily be shared by two people without anyone leaving hungry. That alone already wins points. The interior is unforgettable — beautiful, classic, and very Italian. It adds to the whole experience and makes the wait feel justified. Highly recommended.

There are locals and there are tourists and even though there are mixture of people, still create such a unified energetic atmosphere! We went there around 4:00 but it was already full of energy with people drinking and eating and just having fun! The food was amazing and the portion was very big so I recommend going there with a group of people so that you can try different kind of dish! You can definitely bring leftovers home but cannot compare eating the freshly made food while enjoying the space! To my surprise it was not as expensive as I thought if you consider the amount that they are giving you! But with strings I think it would make the price go up a bit more. Since the place is very energetic it is very hard to have a decent conversation without having to have to raise the voice level a bit...

This was a great place to eat. We had to wait despite the reservation, but it's NYC, so we expected it to be busy. Once seated, the servers came to the table quickly. Speaking of which, the servers were efficient and professional. The dishes were all excellent, exactly what you'd expect from a classic Italian restaurant. Plus, we have gluten free restrictions and they didn't even flinch. I definitely recommend it.

The restaurant has a lively atmosphere and a classic Italian-American vibe, which fits well with the busy Times Square area. It can get crowded and noisy, but that’s expected for the location. The food was good and served in large family-style portions, which is great for sharing. Some dishes stood out more than others, but everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. Prices are a bit on the higher side, though understandable given the area. Service was generally friendly and efficient, even with the restaurant being very busy. We didn’t feel rushed, and the staff handled the crowd well. Overall, Tony’s Di Napoli is a good option if you’re around Times Square and want classic Italian comfort food with generous portions. Not the best Italian spot I’ve ever been to, but definitely a reliable and enjoyable choice.

My god!! Food was incredible! Portions were huge! I loved the idea that they’re large portions made for sharing too. Of course, being so close to Times Square, the price was quite high! But I’d certainly go again

What can I say? It's Tony Di Napoli's! Food was awesome, and A LOT, atmosphere was amazing - New York Italian, and the service was spectacular. We had a New York strip, and seafood linguine with white wine sauce. Shrimp, mussels, clams and calamari over a bed of delicious linguine! We split it 3 ways and didn't finish it. I can't think of a bad thing to say. Go! You'll enjoy it!

Dined here due to its closeness to Belasco theatre. Perfect date night before a Broadway show. Went in on a Thursday night for two with no reservation, but it was already busy, so a reservation would be a good idea. The service was great, had everything we needed. The drinks weren’t outrageously expensive for the size. And the food was elevated, but it still reminded me of a classic Italian dinner.

Very nice New York Italian atmosphere! There was some excellent singing! The staff made us feel very special and took care of us the whole time. Portions are big, we shared three and ordered a great red wine. We did not finish them so we were able to take them away! Great quality! Visited in November 2025

My wife insisted that we go Tony’s first night here. We ate at the bar. We started with Bridget and ended up with Carlos Cruz. He was fantastic. They were gonna close early due to the blizzard. We loved it, the food was great and the personal service was even better. To the owner of the place, please take care of your crew because they are your driving force and that is what keeps bringing clients back for your delicious food.

Is this a place FULL of tourists...yes. But as a local, sometimes its fun to be in that environment. The food was surprisingly good and the service was great! NY is not known for the greatest service so I was pleasantly surprised. We weren't rushed out and they even asked us when we wanted the pasta started so we could enjoy our conversation and salad. We got the rigatoni alla vodka with chicken and the special salad, Italian salata salad. HUGE portions. That would have been good for 3-4 people. Great place if you have guests in town and are looking for a good meal while exploring Time Square. This place is good for families and large groups.

Food was excellent ! And company even better!! Ordered calamari for appetizer and the chicken parm and penne pasta with marinera sauce for an entree. Their sauce is fresh, delicious and a little on the sweet side, yum! Portions are family style so bring your appetite and relatives or friends you like.. 😋

Visited New York for the day to see Christmas sites and heard great things about the food and the service. Highly recommend Tony’s. Carlos took care of us at the bar; The host Alex even charged our phones given we left Maryland at 5:30am and were dubbing at 4pm after shopping and visiting Rockefeller Bryant Park, etc. AG was awesome. The food did not disappoint; worth every penny. Fresh and excellent! Highly recommend if you like Iltalian cuisine 🤩

What a meal. Go on a Friday or Saturday night. The food is amazing!!!!! There was singing that made everything better. Way much better than Carmine's. Go here instead. We can't believe how good the food was. The Fettuccine Alfredo was excellent. The Branzino was cooked perfectly. Take your family with you since this restaurant only serves family portions.

We reserved a table at Tony’s Friday night in the lower level. It was super busy almost full house. We ordered Calamari, Cesar salad, Pinewheel Lasagna and New York 12 oz steak. We got a much bigger steak though. I noticed it was bigger but didn’t see the mismatch till I checked the receipt later on I ordered the steak medium rare but it was rather rare. Still quite tasty and good quality The Lasagna was phenomenal So good that we would dip the steak in the Lasagna sauce! The calamari and the salad were also huge! We ended up not finishing the steak. There were a few birthdays going on downstairs and it was pretty loud for our liking but I liked the vibe. The restaurant is beautiful. A gorgeous wall painting downstairs and some cool portraits upstairs make it look very interesting.

Ate at Tony’s Di Napoli and absolutely loved it. This place is always busy, but for good reason. The food is delicious, classic Italian, and served family-style with HUGE portions — definitely come hungry and ready to share. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, perfect for families, groups, or celebrations. It feels like a big Italian family dinner with nonstop energy, great service, and plates that just keep coming. Everything we tried was flavorful and satisfying, and leftovers are basically guaranteed. If you’re looking for a fun, family-friendly spot with amazing food and generous portions, this place delivers every time. Totally worth it.

A wonderful post show place for dinner. Loved the family style food service, great food and over the top desserts - along with a lively, bustling atmosphere and very friendly and attentive service. Our waiter had a wonderful singing voice as well. Loved it - made the whole day trip to NYC memorable. Highly recommend.

Wow just wow, amazing. Best food I’ve ever eaten outside and inside of Italy. Family size portions and the salad made right at the table. 100% awesome place to eat.

We ordered the Alfredo and the New York cheesecake and both were delicious, one of the best I’ve had. Just this one plate served 3 and we got leftovers. We had come on Saturday evening with no reservation and it would take over an hour for us to be called, so definitely recommend making one, it was easy and it took no longer than a minute for us to be called when we had it.Service was good, the space is somewhat noisy. But overall loved the experience.

First time coming to this restaurant, we asked our server for recommendations out of the options we picked and he recommended these two. I have to say these portions are huge. My partner and I got two dishes and couldn't finish them. My fave was the baked ziti bolognese. The pasta was cooked perfectly. I wasn't a fan of the Tony's chicken. I would definitely come back and try something else.

Great restaurant - had a reservation and was seated promptly - restaurant was busy and a bit loud. Staff was very friendly and fun. Unfortunately tables are a bit small if it's a two seater as they serve family style. Caesar salad was wonderful, ravioli was really good, cheesecake was super tasty. Would definitely stop in again and great location if you have a theater show to get to.

The vibe was wonderful, especially with the festive decorations, and the window-side view was stunning. However, the service was very disappointing—no one attended to me for 30 minutes, so I had to get a menu and place my order at the bar myself. The pasta was delicious and served quickly, but the poor service overshadowed the experience. We skipped dessert and left right after the main course.

Good attentive service and a loud, NYC eatery. Decent food, although we thought it could use stronger seasoning. Meats were cooked properly and the pasta was tasty. It can take some time to eat here. Portions are family-style, so be prepared to share. Good place to eat before a Broadway show.

If you make a reservation make sure you get a confirmation number. Host could use better customer service. Food, drinks, and desserts were delicious. Family style portions for food. Manager was friendly and very helpful with allergies. Server did a great job. One of the servers sung a song.

Good food! Pleasant experience! The baked ziti in meat sauce was great and I enjoyed a Peach Bellini as well

The food was ok, but not amazing. The chicken parm was good, but the pasta della nonna was not good. The dessert was the best part. One plate is for 2 people max; they aren’t as big as they make it seem. The environment and service was great!

We stopped by before our Broadway show since it was right across the street. The atmosphere was lively. It appears to be a popular spot for the 'after-work crowd'. Patrons were friendly, and the staff was attentive. We ordered two drinks and baked clams- the bill was $100. I don't mind paying for service, but the clams were extremely tiny. There was more breading than clam. Very disappointing. I am going to try them again because we stopped in for a quick drink and appetizer- maybe that had something to do with my experience.

Very large restaurant with kind staffs. The seafood linguini with marinara sauce was great, while I found the baked clams and the meatballs to be just okay. My friend left her card by accident and they called through my phone number in reservation info to alert us. Thank you for your help!

We dropped by Tony’s for dinner and it was such a great experience! Super lively and inviting. It’s definitely busy so try to get a reservation. The hosts and servers are great. Food came out fast and it was really tasty! We got the fettuccine Alfredo and penne al vodka. Amazing!

The restaurant has extremely friendly staff and service. Lots of options on the menu. Beware there servings are huge. One pasta plate serves about 3 people. You are able to get half servings which is a bonus. I had the seafood linguine which had mussels, shrimp and calamari. All the seafood was coke to perfection. The chicken Alfredo was also delicious according to my sister I law. Great location in time square New York. The restaurant is clean but a little out dated.

2 levels of Italian goodness. Busy but worth the wait. Bar is a last minute option if you’re looking for a quick lunch or dinner. Sports on the TV help the boys as they wait for the table. Seafood dishes are my favorite. Make sure you have enough people because it’s family style.

This is a fantastic spot for a classic Italian meal, especially when dining with a group. The location is ideal as it is right in the heart of Times Square and easy to get to, making it a convenient meeting place. The atmosphere is warm, lively, and inviting, with that old-school Italian charm that makes you feel comfortable and ready to settle in for a great meal. We loved that the menu is served family-style, which made it easy and fun to order a variety of dishes to share. The menu offers all the Italian classics you’d hope for, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, with very generous portions. Be sure to leave room for dessert, as it’s just as good as the main courses. Overall, Tony’s Di Napoli delivers great food, a fun atmosphere, and an excellent experience for groups. We’d definitely return the next time we’re in the city.

Go hungry and ready to share. A New York institution and now I see why. Family style dining, delicious chicken parm (that sauce is to die for) and great Alfredo. Are there better places in New York? Absolutely, should you go once for the experience...of course. Good service, fun atmosphere, a good place to spend a birthday with family and friends.

We have been longtime fans of Tony’s, considering it the best choice for dinner in the theater district (far better than similar restaurants like Carmine’s), which is why it is disappointing to write this review. This was our first visit in a few years, and it seems that Tony’s quality has gone downhill. The food was still good, but not GREAT like it used to be. We ordered the eggplant rollatini, chicken francese, rigatoni vodka, and meatballs. The rollatini was pretty good; the rigatoni vodka had good flavor, but the pasta was barely covered in sauce - several pieces were completely dry. The chicken was quite thick for francese and rather tough. We did let the staff know about this, and they comped our dessert, which was very kind, but the chicken quality is still worth noting. The meatballs were not very good, and we did not finish them. Almost everything we ordered was lukewarm at best as well. The tartufo we ordered for dessert was delicious and definitely the highlight of the meal, along with the delicious free Italian bread (though it was cold). As for the atmosphere, the interior is nicely decorated and classically Italian-American. However, the table we were seated at was far too close to those next to it. You can hear every bit of the conversation next to you, and it feels like you are basically sharing a meal with your neighbors. The larger booths are better, but be warned if you are dining as a small party. The service here is quite good, but still, has been better on previous visits. We have previously had wonderful experiences at Tony’s, and it has always been one of our favorite places to dine in the city. I certainly hope they improve their issues, but I just wanted to describe my recent experience for anyone looking to dine here.

We did not have to wait very long for the food to come out. But when it did come, the food was not very hot. We ordered a rigatoni a la vodka and the pasta was really overcooked and chewy, so it just tasted like hardened pasta with sauce. The portion sizes for the appetizer and the pasta (full) were sufficient for 2 people. The service was okay, we felt that the waiter kept returning too often to ask if we were done when we obviously weren't. The peach bellini was delicious.

Came to Tony’s Di Napoli for a table for 2. Was quoted 45 minutes, gave my number, and waited over an hour. During my wait, two white women came in after me and were seated. When I went back up to ask, I was seated immediately after. Maybe there’s an explanation, but nothing was communicated and it felt like unequal treatment. As a Black man, it was disrespectful and made me feel profiled. Management needs to fix the waitlist/seating process.
