Opinions de Turntable Chicken Jazz New York
One of the crunchiest chicken I have ever tasted! Great flavor! Okay service??!! The decorations/theme was very interesting in a good way! They have so much more than just chicken but all we got at the time was just chicken. The chicken was so good we almost finished it before I got to take a photo! I would definitely recommend you eat here with a group or by yourself!
Amazing chicken, amazing service, and amazing atmosphere. Servers were amazingly accommodating and food came out fast and hot. Would highly recommend the chicken wings: for anyone that likes chicken wings.
Showed up at 5pm on a Saturday and had no wait. The place plays jazz and a few walls are stacked with records. Started with soy dumplings that were really good. Then my wife and I split an order of 12 soy garlic wings, and a twister. The twister is a fried potato swirl that’s fantastic The wings take 20 min but are fantastic. They were really crisp and had sweet garlic aftertaste
All I have to say is Y.E.S. With a name that catches your attention just know the food will just as much! First they give us this MASSIVE jug of water, instantly Im obsessed because I do tend to drink a lot of water, so it felt like FINALLY a place that meets my hydration needs. And the food was absolutely delicious! The grilled corn was a little small but thats my only complaint! The twister was crispy and the spicy mayo on it was amazing. The flavor of the chicken burger was incredible, it was nice and sweet and packed with flavor. The staff was incredibly kind, patient and attentive. If i come through the area again I will most certainly be back!
Lovely little establishment. I had been to the other location on 32nd Street and this one was more chill. It also helped that it was a weekday and at the tail end of the lunch rush. Decor is amazing and feels like a lot. Even the bar shelves are decorated with a smorgasbord of eclectic items like old reels and radios. Towards the back, you feel like you're walking into an ancient library. The front opens to allow in plenty of city air. Service was very good. There seemed to only be two people running tables when I came with friends, and one of them also had to bartend. She was very nice and wasted no time taking our orders and making the drinks. I had the rice cakes and it was doused in spicy sauce with a surprise of fried rice roll. My friends got their version of eloté and the fried chicken lunch special. Everything was excellent, with strong flavors and decent portion. We managed to finish in time for our lunch hour despite having spent 20 minutes walking around prior, so the wait wasn't so bad. I look forward to coming back in the future.
The ground floor larger, more accessible location for Turntable Jazz chicken. With the same crispy double fried Korean chicken, vinyl laden old broadcast equipment decoration and selection of bar apps, beer towers.
The place has a good vibe and you can fully enjoy it with friends. I like the cocktails there. We ordered fried chicken, which was so good to be a good match with beers. Have to mention the indoor set up - classic and cute. I’d recommend. We ate a lot but still the average price was below $30 per person.
Love the vibe of this place! It’s decorated with records and has a jazz theme to it. Not really sure how the theme relates to the food, but I enjoyed both. As someone who hates wings, I appreciate that they have a boneless breast option. The boneless bites were a good size. I was full after eating 8 in the small. Chicken was crispy and the flavor was fantastic. We also had the kimchi pancake, which was full of flavor and not too spicy. Would definitely return!
By far one of the most delicious wings I’ve ever had. I had the spicy flavor and they were so crunchy, crispy, juicy and flavorful. I tried their cheese corn which was also yummy, the melted cheese and the sweet corn complemented each other’s flavor. The topokki was very good too. The place itself was very cool, I loved seeing all the vinyls on the walls and the jazz playlist was on point. Definitely will visit again.
First off, this is not a place for toddlers. We brought our toddler. Tourist mistake. The staff was gracious and courteous despite us not being their target audience, getting our food out quickly and playing peek a boo briefly with our daughter while we ate. The chicken was delicious, crunchy, flavorful and juicy. Would love to go back without a toddler and take our time and enjoy the vibe.
I’ve went to Turntable Chicken Jazz several times while I was living in New York. Now it is a regular visit for me each time I’m back. The wings are honestly some of the best I’ve ever had, and their other items like mozzarella sticks, ramen, and kimchi pancake are pretty good too. The beer tower is also an experience if you’re in the mood. All in all, definitely recommends a visit!
An amazing Korean Fried Chicken place! The setting is really cool and has chill vibes - definitely matches the restaurant name. The food comes out fairly fast, and the combo deals are great for groups. The chicken is delicious! The outside is perfectly crispy and flavorful, while the inside is juicy. The calamari appetizer is also great, and the peach soju cocktail was delicious. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for high quality Korean Fried Chicken!
Best wings ever!? I spent the entire meal thinking about this question. I couldn’t think of any place that beat these wings so I think they got the title! Eating these wings really made me realize what I was missing out on other places. I created a few categories to judge wings. Plumpness (how much meat) Crispyness (is there a crunch on the outside) Juiciness (of chicken inside) Sauce (flavor of the outside) Other (other) Here is my review: Plumpness: 5/5. Probably the biggest wings that came in an order that I’ve seen in a long long time. Probably double the size of a typical wing. Crispyness: 5/5. When you can hear the actual crunch of your teeth, sinking into these wings, you know you made the right choice. Literally can hear it! Juiciness: 5/5. If the outside was crispy, you could expect the inside to be dry, but no, no, no. The inside had a lot of meat, and it was all tender and very juicy. Sauce: 4/5. One of the hardest decisions when ordering wings is to decide what flavor sauce to get. They keep it simple here. 2 flavors. Soy garlic, hot and spicy. They know it’s a hard choice so they let you do half and half. Hot and spicy was great! Soy garlic was good but could use a bit more flavor. Other: you can tell these wings were prepared with love and attention. The way there were three flats and three drumsticks for each flavor. They were neatly plated on each side of the plate. Very nice presentation for something basic like wings.
Good chicken spot in the city. Price is above average, but you have to expect that in the city. Place has a lot of Korean street food, chicken, and popular dishes that overall taste great. Service was quick and they didn't cause complaints. Decor was pretty moderny hipster and the setting was clean.
The best chicken burger ever! I was coming here for years but only tried chicken burger today and it’s was one of the best I ever tried Highly recommend to come here for lunch and Happy Hour 12pm-5pm Sapporo only $3 The best vibes ever in this busy area in midtown I really love fried rice kimchi with chicken but just go for the chicken burger!!! Very great atmosphere, always plays jazz and so great staff! Would definitely be back again and again And they are pet friendly🐶🐾🗽😻😍 Thanks a lot!
I promise you best wings I've ever had. Best crunch ever, never really seen anything like it before. I got kimchi rice for main meal and it was the bomb dot com. We got 2 apps and an entre for like 34 bucks, not sure where you can find a better deal in Manhattan.
i got soy garlic bone in wings and they were amazing. Beautiful crunch and perfectly seasoned and tossed. the service was amazing and there was no wait. 10/10 will definitely come back if i’m in town
Wow wow wow! I should end my review with those three words but I need more points so let me elaborate. First of all this restaurant is one of the coolest restaurants I've ever been in. It has retro decor with high ceilings and full of old radios, vinyl records and books. It's hard to describe but the overall vibe is simply amazing. But let's get down to business because at the end of the day you are here to fill your belly with food and let me tell you, you will NOT be disappointed. The chicken here is AMAZING. Cooked perfectly and fried to a golden crisp heavenly tasting delicacy. If you have never had Korean Fried Chicken, drop what your doing and head over here. It is INCREDIBLE. It's so good I almost forgot to take pictures of the food. Service was.also stellar, fast, friendly and attentive. I will absolutely be back again and again. I don't live in NY but coming here made the trip worthwhile.
I loved their inside decorations and jazz they were playing. We ordered large combo and it was good enough for two of us. It took about 30 minutes to get out food, but the server told us in advance. You could choose soy garlic or spicy sauce or half and half. We had half and half. The spicy one wasn't too spicy. I'd say outside was very crispy and inside was juicy.
Oh my what a vibe. Such a relaxing ambience to just eat, drink and socialize. First time here and the service was great. We were immediately seated, I came for the kimchi fried rice and it was delicious. Decided to order the wings and good grief... drumsticks on steroids. Please come and try this awesome quirky twist of a place out. .
The food was delicious. The cocktails were great. The bartender was very kind and made the most amazing chili margarita!!! The ONLY negative factor was the host. She made us feel a tad uncomfortable like she didn't want us there and we noticed some very judgmental glances from her throughout our visit. Very weird and not very welcoming. Honestly, the only reason I gave service three stars instead of five, which is unfortunate because the food was really delicious.
Amazing spot! The vibe was really cool. Old school radios everywhere and albums and all around great decor. We Came here specifically for the fried chicken. Which was delicious. We ordered everything for the table which is nice to do. We were a party of four. We got fried dumpling and hand cut fries. The vegetable fried rice was the best fried rice we ever tasted. The table was quiet just eating that rice. So delicious. The service was great. The drinks were great. And we can't wait to go again and try other dishes. But the fried rice is a must.
A nice calm experience with amazing jazz music. Their dumplings were delicious, the spiral potatoes are worth it. Their bulgogi app we forgot to take a photo of was that good. I am glad I got the soy grilled chicken sandwich. By the end though I couldn’t eat another bite. This place is a nice hidden gem. I hope people come and enjoy this spot.
I was craving Korean Fried Chicken and this truly satisfied my cravings. Truly memorable crust with tasteful chicken, the Fried Chicken was magnificent. The location is very close to the Empire State Building and it was not busy at all when I visited around 1 pm on a Tuesday. Make a stop if you're close by. You'll love it!
I thought this place was great. We went here while waiting for our karaoke room; ordered a peach soju, grilled edamame, and spicy soy garlic chicken breasts. The atmosphere is very cool, fits the theme well. We were wondering how they went about sourcing the older electronics for it. I thought the food was really good. Grilled edamame was surprisingly awesome. The fat they cook it in adds so much flavor. The chicken was perfect for me. I thought their meat to breading ratio and the crunch was ideal.
I came here with my sister because we were craving korean fried wings and our cravings were satisfied to say the least. I loved the atmosphere here, I can’t believe I haven’t come here before. Yeogin was our server and she was sooo nice and patient with us. We got half soy garlic and half spicy wings— they were crispy and juicy, you can tell that it was fresh. We also got the tteokbokki with rice cakes and cheese ( it comes with dumplings but we don’t eat pork so we substituted with extra rice cakes ), also very flavorful. We’ll be back for sure!!
Good food and service was quick. I know that everything is cooked to order and the staff was there to make sure that everything came out fine. They had a different location (Chicken Rock) which I think had a better atmosphere but the food is whats important
MUST VISIT!!!! Turntable Chicken Jazz has the best Korean Fried Chicken I’ve tasted in Korea Town by far!! It was deliciously crunchy, did not have mountains of breading, and the “Hot” sauce flavor was perfection! The soy garlic sauce did not compare to the hot one. It is my favorite menu item and I will be returning to eat this when I’m in the neighborhood or I’ll go out of my way to. I also tried the seafood fried rice which was tasty, but looked better in the pictures on Google. It was yummy, but the portion in my opinion was not as good as I hoped. I would just opt for the regular fried rice. The twisters are super tasty!! In the beginning I thought I’d want to share–but happy I ate my own! Finally, I had a peach lemonade which was tasty, but had a carbonated flavor that was subtle, but not subtle enough to ignore. Not to my taste, so I do not recommend that. Service good for ordering and getting out food, but not too great for refills or getting the check. They were pretty understaffed with only three servers on a Saturday night, but I understood the wait because this place is very popular (for a reason!) All in all 5/5 stars. Very satisfied with a full tummy.
Came with a group of colleagues and the food was all super delicious! Chicken was crunchy, had some corn with cheese, soju, beer tower. Tteokbokki, potato stick and calamari. The service was friendly and they did their best to accommodate 20+ people. I definitely recommend trying this place out!
I recently visited Turntable Chicken Jazz in Koreatown, NYC 🗽 and I absolutely loved the experience. First, the atmosphere really stands out. The space has a cozy, vintage vibe with vinyl records lining the walls and jazz music playing in the background. It feels lively but still intimate enough to actually enjoy conversation. It’s not just a place to eat, it’s a whole mood. The food was excellent. The Korean fried chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The sauces were well balanced and everything tasted fresh. Portions were generous and perfect for sharing. The drinks were also a highlight. They have a solid selection of Korean beers and creative cocktails that pair really well with the food. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for dinner that turns into drinks without having to change locations. If I had to mention one thing, it can get busy and a bit loud during peak hours, so I’d recommend going earlier or being prepared for a lively crowd. Overall, I highly recommend Turntable Chicken Jazz if you’re looking for great Korean fried chicken in NYC Koreatown with a fun, music filled atmosphere. I’ll definitely be going back.
This place has such a great vibe, perfect for chilling with friends and enjoying the night 🍻 The highlight for me was the fried chicken: super crispy outside, juicy inside, and even better with the dipping sauces. If you’re a beer lover, I definitely recommend stopping by. Great atmosphere, great bites,
Turntable is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a Korean style food and great atmosphere! We tried 3 appetizers: -bulgogi rice cake -kimchi scallion pancakes -cheese corn I’m a sucker for bulgogi 10/10 very delicious! Scallion pancakes were good scallion pancakes but I was hoping for stronger kimchi flavor. The kimchi was fried with TJ pancake and I feel like it lost its strong flavor. 8/10 Cheese corn was good very cheesey! Could have more spice though 8/10 Then finished off with the wings. We got half and half (half hot and spicy and half soy). Hot and spicy did have a kick but delicious. Soy was a sweet and balanced the spicy wings well. The wings themselves were perfectly fried. 10/10 would get again! Didn’t have a live DJ but they were playing fun old time music. Incredible atmosphere. Happy to recommend if you’re in the area or craving Korean wings.
Ambiance (5/5): The decoration from floor to ceiling is SICK. The bookshelves, music records, wooden panels/lighting is such a vibe! The noise volume is moderate. There’s also another dining room to the back of the restaurant. Service (3/5): The hostess allowed our party to partially sit vs wait for everyone. We ordered drinks and food before the whole party arrived. The food takes forever to arrive including a corn on a cob that took 30 minutes from ordering. Understandably, fried chicken takes time to cook. Drinks are quick though. Elote Smokey Corn (2/5): Nothing special about this. Skip! Bulgogi Burger (5/5): Super flavorful and delicious sauce with a bun that held well. Fries were cooked with a crunch which I preferred. Fried Chicken (5/5): Wonderfully breaded and flavorful. The wings are large/juicy. $18 soju bottles which feels like a robbery.
Whoever was running front of house on 12/30 was doing an amazing job. My online pickup order got messed up through no fault of the restaurant and I had to wait 25 more minutes. Not only were they genuinely apologetic, but while I was waiting I watched the FOH lead doing an amazing job - like all the jobs. Making sure everyone, including me, was taken care of. I mean the chicken is amazing, but the service and ambiance of the place as a result was great.
Picked by my brother who lives in NY. We're from NJ. Went with 10 people including my very picky kids ages 16-24 who said it was best restaurant pick so far! Dumpling appetizer delicious, chicken sandwich flavor amazing. Bulgogi burger so different and delicious with the best truffle fries. Fried chicken gigantic. Corn with mozzarella worked perfectly. Service attentive, friendly, and accurate. Ambiance so cool. You will not be disappointed.
Absolutely love this place! They offer a great variety of cocktails, good soju options, and the Sapporo is ice cold, just how it should be. My favorite was the Lychee Martini! The twist potato and the wings were both incredibly delicious. Our bartender, Manuel, was attentive, professional, and made our whole experience even better. We truly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back!
Turntable Chicken Jazz is an absolute gem in NYC! The vibe is so fun and unique—great music, cool atmosphere, and a really lively energy that makes the whole experience stand out. The Korean fried chicken is hands down some of the best I’ve ever had—crispy, flavorful, and addictive. The rest of the menu is just as good, with plenty of tasty options to share. The drinks are on point, the staff is super friendly, and everything is always clean and well kept. Perfect spot to go with friends or have a date night. Definitely a must-visit!
Vibey Korean bar in k-town. If you're looking for a good time and amazing fried chicken - this is the spot. Above all else, you owe it to yourself to try their fried chicken. Personally we prefer flats and with the way they fry their chicken, I think you'll get the best experience with them. They have a lot of other typical Korean fare but nothing beats their chicken.
The moment you walk from the street into Turntable Chicken Jazz, it is like stepping into a new world! The music is perfect, the aesthetic is overwhelmingly cool and when you look around to each table (tables were full at 11pm) you can genuinely see how much people were enjoying their food, drinks and this fabulous environment. We ordered a bunch of different things to share- I really liked the fried dumplings, they really loved the combo of soy and spicy (aka “half and half”) wings. Overall, this place is top notch and we will be back!
This is honestly one of the best places I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve had a lot of Korean fried chicken and eaten a lot in New York, but I’m too lazy to write these reviews. The company (person) I with had a lot of experience in hospitality/food industry and therefore high standards, the quality of the food and the service was on par with what you would expect from some of the best restaurants in Midtown and NYC with locations throughout the country and even around the world, owned by rich hospitality, groups, like Landry, etc. The soy chicken was so juicy flavorful and memorable. The cheese sticks were like mozzarella sticks, but with a Korean flavor profile, not just in the presentation and how it was cooked, but also in the sauce. The decor was so nice from the entrance, which had nice hand sanitizer even some Aveeno lotion, nearby, because hands dry up so much in the winter, to the bathroom as you might see in the pictures I added to this review. I look forward to frequent visits to this place. They won me over
Loved the atmosphere with all the records and equipment. Very cool and the music made it a cool, calm vibe. All of the food was really good. I recommend the chicken breast. Very good. The place does has fire sprinklers which is good since there is a lot of wood. Definitely a great place to eat and enjoy.
This Turntable Chicken is a must-visit for anyone who loves bold, vibrant flavors and crispy textures. The chicken is fried to perfection—light and crispy on the outside, while juicy and tender on the inside. Each bite is packed with flavor, whether you go for the sweet-and-spicy glaze or the more traditional soy garlic option. The sauces are well-balanced, elevating the chicken without overwhelming its natural taste. The menu offers a great variety of options, from classic wings to boneless bites, all paired with fresh sides like pickled radish . The portions are generous, making it perfect for sharing or indulging. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and lively, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. The service is friendly and attentive, ensuring your dining experience is seamless. For Korean fried chicken lovers, this spot definitely stands out!

The atmosphere and vibe here is awesome and unique! The food options are diverse but the restaurant is well known for it's Korean fried wings for good reasons. Their wings are very crispy as it is double fried and a must order if you visit. Highly recommended for those in the area and won't hurt your wallet
Decent spot for delicious wings and drinks. A group of 10’of us went around 5pm on a Monday and place was empty. It got really busy at around 6:30 though. Not surprising since that’s the after work rush. Wings are great, would not recommend the lychee martini. Service was fast and nice. Would definitely recommend this spot
i ordered the korean fried chicken combo (4 wings 2 drums) with half soy garlic and half spicy. i also ordered their cheesy corn. starting with the corn, the dish came out hot (like straight out the oven) and the cheese was perfectly and deliciously melted over the corn. the corn is in a slightly creamy sauce (similar to coleslaw?) but all of the flavors worked very well together. the chicken itself was pretty good. it is a traditional korean style double deep fried chicken that has a thick, flavorful outer shell while maintaining a juicy, tender interior. the flavors were pretty good though not too different in quality and taste from other korean fried chicken places i’ve tried.
I was told about this restaurant by a friend. He told me that the chicken here was better than that of a restaurant that I frequent. Not being able to believe that any chicken could be better than my favorite restaurant, I decided to check this place out. I will say that the chicken was very good at this location but it was not better then my favorite chicken, and therefore it gets four stars. If you're in the area and you are in the need for Korean Fried Chicken, however then I think this will suffice. this is not at all to say that this restaurants chicken is bad. Far from it. It's just not as good as my favorite place. Check out my other reviews to find out where that is... Other than that this is a great location to get drinks and meet up with friends.
This place was just okay. The restaurant and the vibe were awesome. Very chill and cozy, so I might consider having a drink at the bar in the future, but nothing more. The food was good, but not great, and felt that it was very pricey for what it was. We had many different items on the menu (cutlets, wings, fried rice, Josh puppies, fried mozzarella, edamame, fried potato), but the standout was the grilled edamame. The service was really lacking. It seemed as though it was a team approach, meaning no one really was assigned to our table. This meant that anytime we needed anything from drinks to more food, we had to flag someone down. I don’t think I would go back, or recommend to a friend with so many other options around.
We went as a 10 people group for a birthday event. When we arrived we were promptly seated. As for food, we loved the fried chicken (get the spicy wings), twisters (did someone say spicy mayo on fried potatoes? yum), and beer tower (nice lights with enough volume for one 3/4 full drink per person)! We were seated in the most back corner of the restaurant where the music was very loud, so it was hard to hear and talk to each other and get the waiter’s attention. Whenever we did get attention though, the staff was all very courteous!
How do chickens stay fit? They egg-ercise @turntablechickenjazz is serving up some great Korean BBQ like their fried chicken that comes in a soy garlic sauce or a spicy sauce. Plus they’ve got sides and apps like edamame and the twister - a spiraled loaded potato - and kimchi fried rice topped with an egg. Don’t forget the drinks. The beer tower is a great choice to share with friends Visit 2: Rock those tables At @turntablechickenjazz @turntablenyc @turntable_chicken_rock with some sweet spicy Korean fried chicken wings, edamame, and great drinks like my spicy chili margarita We got the boneless chicken wings this time but tbh @aaronchristopher_j and I enjoy the bone in ones better! These were smashed really thin and had a ton of breading compared to the regular wings. They had the same delicious classic flavors though. Plus we got some grilled edamame which adds that extra flavor to the usual steamed edamame.
The place is super nice inside and sure a lot of effort was put on decorations. Too bad the service is not super great and when we arrive the restaurant was almost empty but still the guys pushed us to seat at the bar because everything is fully booked. Fair enough but kind of rude. Other than that, they are probably famous for the big jar of beer full of carbon ice, why not, highlight of the diner was the fried chicken. It's double fried as it should, the coating was maybe a little big too thick, and obviously not spicy enough, but the pleasure was there. We might go back.
The atmosphere is great... The decor is cool... The service is very good... But be prepared to wait for your fried chicken... It is prepared fresh... They will warm you though.. When you order... Will definitely go back... Not your typical Korean fare... But still very yummy! 👍😉
First time here and the spot is nice. It’s jazzy and dark, but intimate. We got the soy garlic wings, the cheese corn and the fries. I didn’t get much since I wasn’t so hungry. I was highly disappointed in the wings. Yes it was crispy but it wasn’t tasty. It wasn’t well seasoned. The fries were decent. The cheese corn taste like the corn came out of a can. Sigh. Don’t like that taste. I’ll give it another shot and try the other stuff in the menu.
We found this place after a Google search after visiting NYC for the day. It’s a chill vibe, playing Jazz. Low key, great place to have dinner with friends after work. Ordered a few dishes for variety. Ordered Calamari which was crispy and not dry. They were medium sized which I like. Tried Kimchi for the first time. Let’s just say it’s an acquired taste. I don’t know if it’s suppose to have some seasoning but if it had some, I think I would have liked it more. Bulgogi platter was great and came with rice. Cooked tender and had some seasoning. The portion are kinda small. So if you are looking to get “full” off of shareables, don’t count on it. The Fried Chicken wings were great. Didn’t taste like your normal fried chicken. Tender, crunchy without the grease residue. Seafood pancake was plain. Had a neutral taste. Nothing that popped. Service was basic. The one thing I didn’t like was that even though we ordered food together, it came out one by one. I had to eat most of meal before my friends got their food. (Maybe it’s because they were considered appetizers ) All in all would recommend. As the name suggests, they serve good food and jazzy music. We did walk-in and we were seated immediately. Love the vibe in here and it wasnt too crowded with diners. Double height ceiling and surrounded by vintage record players and vinyls in a cool rustic outback setting. We were both craving for something soupy in a chicken place (we know) and we both got the seafood ramen and agreed its a winning seafood noodles ~ ~ the soup was full of flavors and served with chopped up seafood like mussels, squids and etc. The menu offers a variety of gastropub-style dishes like burgers, Korean pancakes, fried cheese sticks, and spicy rice cakes, as well as a bulgogi platter.. We also got a 6 pieces fried chicken drumsticks in soy and spicy glaze. The drumsticks were not the bite size drummies but a good regular size that we cant finish all of it after our bowl of noodles. We had a great time here enjoying our food and having decent conversation without needing to shout like most places while also listening to mellow jazz.
The place wasn’t bad at all, its an excellent place if you want to chill and and have some drinks. The place was really dark but it is average for a bar. The food wasn’t bad but it was really hot!! There was no AC so coming here for fried food in the middle of summer was not a great idea. The cheese sticks were PHENOMENAL! It was perfectly salted and was the right amount of cheesy. The fried calamari wasn’t too oily and was nice and crisp. The twisters weren’t bad but it’s better off eaten quickly. It was quick to turn soggy but that’s w considering it was covered in sauce. The wings were really crisp and covered in sauce BUT the spicy was really spicy!! Definitely beware if you can’t handle your spice.
Soul music, moody aesthetic & jazzy vibes. My eyes were fixated to their walls which were covered with retro track reel recorders, record players & various vinyls displayed from floor to ceiling. The soy garlic wings were devine. Plump, juicy wings that are fried to perfection with a nice thin crisps layer. The savory rich miso ramen was comforting. Simply topped with mushrooms and scallion. You have a choice to add pork belly. It was perfect for the kids. Soy garlic fried crispy dumplings do not disappoint, it was nicely caramelized with a slightly sticky sweet and savory skin. This place was such a great find. We came before the dinner rush around 5:30pm. So glad we did bc the streets of ktown was beyond packed with long lines outside. A must try if you’re in the area.
Like the place. It’s a big joint in the middle of the downtown. We got a beer tower that came in illuminated tower which was indeed fascinating. Food was good to average. We ordered seafood and chicken fried rice, hush puppies, and chicken wings. The ambience is rather interesting with reference to the world of music. Great location to hang out with friends.
Loved the vibe, the waitstaff were very welcoming. The food could be better but it’s not bad.
All things considering that its next to the empire state building, its a one stop place for everything. Definitely a unique ambiance and vibe that catches your attention as its a combination of a varietyof things both culturally and food. The fried chicken was good great tteokbokki, but the menu was definitely more of a fusion based menu which I was not a fan of. They do go heavy on the cheese so if you are a cheese lover go ahead, if not I think you would be fine without adding cheese to your tteokbokki. Either way im a fan of both so I loved it. Would go back but not the biggest fan of the fusion theme menu.
This was my second time here. The decor and atmosphere makes it one of the coolest places in the city! I love all the records and the displays. The drink menu is super interesting, and happy hour options are great. The food menu is very unique and delicious. I've tried a few different things, and haven't gone wrong. And of course it all comes together nicely with great service. Will be back for sure!
Pretty decent food for a fairly reasonable price. My main reason for a 4 is that alright the food overall is pretty decent, it isn't really the best option nearby. Fried chicken - Really, really nice crunch. Probably one of my favorite crunches I've found for KFC in NYC. But the flavors are a bit lacking, the soy garlic tastes almost slightly sweet and savory, but lacks depth to really push it to a 5. A similar issue with almost everything else that was ordered including the spicy wings, kimchi fried rice, bulgogi, and the dumplings. However the fat fried edamame is a good example of how to get depth of flavor compared to everything else. The edamame has enough salt and fat to flavor it, then seared to a nice char to bring out a nice toasty chared flavor, without being burned. That is the idea of depth that everything else needed. Still overall a pretty good meal and pretty filling.
The ambiance is super cool. Lychee martini was perfect. Chicken was perfectly crispy. I would go back again and again. staff was friendly.
Such a cute place! The decor is so beautiful--filled with vinyl records, books, cool lighting--and there is plenty of seating. \n\nThe service was standard and the food came out pretty quickly. \n\…

Food was ok, got the combo of soy and spicy, kimchi fried rice which was mid and fried dumplings. Service was great, overall vibe was nice. But Mad for chicken is way better…
As far as Korean fried chicken goes, this place was just okay. Not the best, not the worst. The flavors were pretty good, but for the high price point and "hip" vibes, I was expecting something a little more exciting flavor-wise. The portions were also rather small. The hush puppies were just okay too. The "coolest" part was definitely the decor and the beer tower. If you're looking for a more authentic Korean fried chicken experience, you'll find far better options at other establishments in K-Town! I'll definitely be going elsewhere next time.
It’s a good evening catching up with a girlfriend who needs a drink and who is allergic to any shell fish. Food was good but average tasting. 2 ginger martini were served difference sizes, the small one is like a baby 1/2 size of the other one. Service was a bit rush though the 2 of us had full table of food and drinks. Music was good ... space is a bit more open than most.
My wife, her cousin, and I went here for Korean Chicken. And we got what we came here for! At first, the service was alright, we were first led into the small back room where the noise was bouncing everywhere. It was too loud where we could not have a conversation. Fortunately, the hostess was nice to place us onto the tables at the front across of the bar. Now there, the atmosphere was nice especially in being surrounded with record players and vinyl records. We order, of course, the Soy Garlic and Spicy Chicken Wings and Drumsticks. We order Soju Peach. At then end of the night, we were toasty and full!
Not sure what happened to Turntable.. years ago I felt like this was one of the top go to place for Korean wings and somehow this time around left me with a "meh" experience. This may have set the to…
Beware- we reserved this place for the cool vibes not knowing they have an uncool dining area. Without the cool vibe, the chicken is average, nothing special

We went with a large group for happy hour and the server got upset because we had more people than we had reserved a table for. Not a problem for us so we moved to the bar. The bartender could not keep up and at one point I waited 15 minutes just to order a drink. Then he ran out of the bar when we left and accused my friend of not paying his tab— when they reviewed it, it was actually the bartenders mistake. Overall just not a great experience. The drinks were also expensive and no happy hour specials like at the sister restaurant (Turntable LP).
Great ambience and playlist. Service should improve —- retrain staff and learn to provide options to guests rather than having a “take it or leave it” attitude. Skip the fried calamari. It was very chewy. The bulgogi was edible. If you’re looking for Korean fried chicken, go to Pelicana or Bbq chicken on the next block from this place.
Went to dine here with a friend , heard the chicken was great but when arrived we were seated , we waited literally 15-20 mins to be asked what we wanted to start with , waiter never introduced him…
Had a very disappointing experience here. I ordered a drink and chicken wings, and was initially told it would take about 20 minutes. After waiting for over 30 minutes, we asked another server who informed us that chicken breasts weren’t available and they could serve drumsticks instead. We agreed, but another 10 minutes later, a different server came back to say that no chicken was available at all, and simply offered the drink “on the house.” It’s hard to believe a busy restaurant could run out of chicken at 8 PM, and even harder to accept how poorly the situation was handled. No proper communication, no genuine apology, and a 40-minute wait for nothing. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Definitely not coming back.
Terrible experience. ☹️😖The chicken was the driest and most tasteless I’ve ever had in my life — absolutely inedible. Only the fries were somewhat okay. I ordered just one portion of chicken, a cocktail, and fries, and the total came to $58 with tips already included. The service was awful — the waiters were extremely slow and ignored us when we tried to get their attention. I don’t recommend this place at all. You really have to try hard to mess up chicken this badly. Total waste of money. 💸
