Their fried pork 锅包肉 is really good. It’s pretty authentic as the original Harbin style. I’m from Harbin so I can say this taste like home. 100% rec!

I come here a lot, the food and service are both amazing. The Guobaorou (double cooked pork) and xiaolongbao are absolutely amazing and I order them every time!

I also really enjoyed the flavor of the snowflake panfried dumplings. I thought the soup dumplings were just a tad dough-y for me, but my family really enjoyed it! Everything hit the spot, super friendly staff, and I especially love the bowls and plates they use. It felt like royalty haha.

The golden broth was rich and aromatic, filled with perfectly chewy hand-pulled noodles and topped with fresh cilantro that brightened each spoonful. What makes this dish extraordinary is the tableside preparation – the theatrical sizzle as they pour the hot broth creates an unforgettable sensory experience! Their steamed buns were equally impressive – six pillowy white dumplings garnished with green onions. The texture was phenomenal – soft exterior giving way to juicy, flavorful filling that practically melted in my mouth. I was particularly impressed by the generous portions – the soup could easily feed two, and the substantial plate of buns was perfect for sharing (though they were so delicious I didn't want to!). The care and craftsmanship in every dish is evident. If you're seeking authentic, handcrafted cuisine that delights all senses, this place is a must-visit. We had a fantastic meal at this Chinese restaurant! The dry noodle with pork belly was rich and flavorful, the goubuli baozi were perfectly soft and juicy, and the fried chicken had a deliciously crispy texture. Everything was cooked to perfection and packed with authentic flavors. The service was also excellent—friendly, attentive, and quick. Highly recommend for a great dining experience!

The food is o good, like the bomb! We had the fried soup buns, which were fried to the perfect consistency. Nice and crispy on the bottom, soft on the top, and soupy and moist inside. The XLB were pretty large and filled with a lot of soup. Both are hot like lava on the inside when it hits your table so beware or you will scald your mouth! And the combination fried rice was excellent. Tasty and not all stick together like some places. You order through a QR code but pay the waitress. I’m going to say it’s a little expensive at $85 for two orders fried dumplings, two orders XLB, and one order fried rice. But it certainly is tasty.

Special Noodle — formerly Pan Fried Dumpling — is one of my favorite places to go in Newark to eat out. The food here is so good, especially their soup dumplings, which are so rich and flavorful! It’s always a fight to see who will eat the last one. Their service is always quick and kind, and they are friendly with people who they recognize as repeat customers. They have a variety of foods available and we usually end up buying more than we can eat just to experience the breadth of flavors, then taking everything hope for lunch tomorrow 😋 definitely worth a visit!

Wide variety of Chinese foods on the menu. Big fan of the beef wrap and the stone pot with ma la flavor added. We got the clear beef noodle soup this time and really enjoyed it and the mini pan fried pork buns literally exploded with juice (be careful it's also hot). Special noodle is always a solid option when you're craving Chinese.

All food we ordered were delicious. Especially loved spicy beef cube, juicy and soft and very rich in flavor. Right amount of spice but not too much. Spicy red oil wonton is also great. Service is fast and great too.

I like this place so much I come here to eat by myself. The food here is hella legit. Reminds me of my childhood in China. My favorite is Harbin style sweet and sour pork (pictured left). The people are so funny and chill too.

First time trying the Lamb Stone Pot Noodle Soup and it is really tasty. Probably the only issue is that it feels oily when it's cooling down.

We’ve been here several times, and the food has been consistently great. We’ve tried the noodles, mifen, and fried dumplings, and everything was delicious. The flavors are authentic and comforting, and you can really taste the care put into each dish. Definitely a place we keep coming back to.

Overall the food was good. The braised pork belly and cucumber salad were the best. The steamed egg was a bit overdone.

Food was decent, found two hairs in the chow main. I noticed the chicken spicy buns were taken out of a package and flavor was bland. Orange chicken was tasty but the way the strips of chicken are cut it feels it’s more breading than any chicken. Combination chow main was what my family and I, liked the most but unfortunately we found two hairs.
