Very pleasant experience. If I could split stars it’d be 4.7. Their specialty burger and the one salad that didn’t have a blue-type cheese were fantastic. The pesto pasta dish was a welcome less-fried option, though it didn’t trigger the same excitement. Nice environment and props to the service team that was working together so well. Very cool that they have a bubbly water in a glass option instead of just soda.

My husband and I recently held our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we had a fantastic time! Planning this event was a very smooth process all the way through, thanks to Christine. She happily answered all of our questions and worked with our budget and guest count. The food was fantastic! Our guests kept saying how good everything was. And we even had more food than anticipated so they brought out to go boxes for everyone which was such a nice touch. The private room was beautifully decorated and fit our group perfectly. Our server was very kind and took care of us the entire night. We could not recommend Newhall Refinery for a private event enough! Thank you all!

I visited Newhall Refinery on Saturday around 5 pm, and it was the perfect time! The menu was amazing, and I highly recommend the Philly steak sandwich. The bread was special, the meat tender and flavorful, and the cheese excellent. It was super good. Parking is limited to street parking, so arrive early for a good spot. The atmosphere is family-friendly and welcoming, with unique beer taps along the ceiling adding a cool vibe. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff. The restroom was clean. The wait time for our food to arrive was good, it took around 10-15 minutes. You could tell the food quality was excellent, with dishes made from good ingredients. The restaurant has a unique charm and serves all-American classic bar-type food. The portions were just right, and the prices were great. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and can't wait to go back. - Luis

Dropped by and was very happy I did. Great food and atmosphere. I got a smash burger and it was probably one of the best I've ever had. Surprised it wasn't crowded. Will.be coming back soon. Service was great. An icon for how resteraunts should be run.

I was honestly surprised with how good the food was. When you think of pub food, you can could get it anywhere but this food was very much elevated. I got the salmon plate and that was one of the best crispy skin salmons I’ve had in a long time. My husband got the fish and chips and he said the same. One of the best fish and chips he has had. Other dishes that were had was the Philly and the smash burger. All really delicious dishes. Will definitely be coming back again soon.

Newhall Refinery was a great weekday lunch stop! There were a couple other customers, but no wait, and quick attentive service. We started by sharing the Peach & Burrata salad, but I was so hungry I forgot to snag a picture. They were out of peaches, so substituted strawberries, and it was a decent salad. My wife ordered the Pork & Apple entree, which was an exquisite bone-in pork chop with a mouthwatering apple cider glaze. I had the Fried Chicken Sando. This isn’t your average chicken sandwich. Each bite of chicken was had the crispy fried flavor you expect, and tender chicken through. 10/10 would recommend both dishes.

Great dining! Hits all the points our waitress knew what was goin on in the kitchen, had already tasted the dishes and desserts so she was educated about the flavors and how many were left of items. Clean, friendly place and I absolutely loved that the chef comes out to talk to customers and see how they are liking the meals. Been here a few times now and have not been disappointed. Everything I've tried so far has all been made in-house which is a big plus. Recommend making reservations online during the weekends seeing that this place does get busy and the food will let you know why!

Hip, culinary hangout in the cool part of town. At first glance, the beer keg handles dangling decoratively from the ceiling and the rough hewn wood throughout might suggest this is simply yet another craft micro brewery; NOT SO. The menu is smart and creative. The chef is a true professional. The dishes appear to be simple, but they're packed with tasty flavors. The cocktails are planfully designed to suit a wide variety of tastes, sweet and refreshing (popular strawberry vodka drink) to well-balanced and sophisticated (old fashioned). The table staff are knowledgeable and friendly, if not a little rushed. Be sure to order a salad or appetizer as the entries are sized health-consciously. I'm looking forward to our next opportunity to visit.

This place is very accommodating for large crowds. The menu is very diverse. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is plenty of street parking and a parking lot that is free down the street. The place is clean and there’s a lot of choices of different beers on the menu I would definitely recommend this place.

We ordered the cheese board and the Philly. We were expecting a wide variety of cheese but we felt a bit dissapointed since there were only three slices of cheese and the rest was nuts and fruit. We made a comment to the waitress since she asked us how it was. 2 minutes later, one member of the kitchen staff came out and brought another plate with plenty of cheese, which was ok, but the same type of cheese. The Philly was really yummy, we shared it because it was too much. The staff were really kind and adviced us very nicely, clarifying the difference between some dishes, telling us about the ingredients and giving opinion too. The place had a great athmosphere. All in all, we had a great experience and we would recommend this place.

Newhall Refinery is located in such a wonderful area surrounded by other restaurants, bars, theatre, and more. They were accommodating with our group as we didn't have a reservation. The location is very nice inside and the drinks were great. Food was good. The only issue we had was service was a little slow. However, they were busy so it's understandable. I would definitely go back again.

The mocktail was delicious! The bar keep was nice. I hated that my properly cooked steak, med rare, was covered in a sauce that was of a weird texture and it tasted of nothing really. The sauce just looked like baby’s spit up. The steak needed salt. The fries were advertised as garlic parsley but tasted of neither. I think if the steak had a chimichurri and not this weird sauce the meal would have been better. Skip it.
