Not been for years, recently had a family Sunday roast which was great, loads of food and well priced, busy lively atmosphere in a nice setting. We will be coming again.

absolutely fab! Came in for the first time in 2 years, was a bit cautious as previously it had been terrible and swore id never come back but after many recommendations from friends saying how good it is under the new management, im very glad i did! I had the Lamb shepherds pie with an extra jug of gravy and my husband had the mixed grill, everything was perfect. Staff were very attentive and helpful and the food is delicious. Will definitely be returning to my new favourite local.

First visit in a long long time and what a discovery, Sunday lunch was beautiful, well cooked generous portions with perfectly cooked veg. This will in future be my go to food pub as its closer to home, and frankly better than the rival competition in and around Newport . Lovely laid back friendly atmosphere, dog was welcome can't wait to start sampling rest of the menu

Held my Mother in Laws 90th birthday and had Lunch at the Lamb. Food was first class, good portions and a broad menu. Service was first class and very supportive and coped with our wants. Nothing was a problem. An excellent final touch with Happy Birthday written on the pudding served. First rate all around. May a special day even better. We will return. Thank you.

Fantastic Experience at The Lamb! I recently visited The Lamb, and I had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a great selection of drinks and a cozy pub vibe. A special mention goes to Tia, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit. She made sure we had everything we needed, recommended some great food. It’s rare to find such great customer service, and she truly made our evening even better. The food was delicious—everything was fresh, well-cooked, and full of flavor. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual drink or a full meal, The Lamb is a great choice. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Dined here for Mother’s Day, our table was booked for 2 but we arrived a little early and was seated straight away. It was incredibly busy but the service from Demi was excellent and the food was just as great as usual. Best roast dinner we’ve had out and very happy we were able to get a table for Mother’s Day. My wife was thrilled with her flowers so thank you for that extra special touch.

Our Gnosall Handbell Ringers experienced a wonderful evening this week celebrating Joan and Peter's 60th wedding anniversary and Peter's 90th birthday. Aaron, the manager, pulled out all the stops to make this a memorable occasion and his attention to detail was second to none. We can't thank you enough Aaron and shall be back again soon.

After several faultless visits to The Lamb it is quickly becoming our 'go-to' restaurant. The menu, food, drinks and service have all been great. We can be fussy and have been disappointed with the 'rival' establishments but the lamb keeps exceeding our expectations and long may it continue!

Went out for a meal for a birthday meal yesterday and i can't thank the staff enough the food was really nice.. even though it wasn't overly busy the food came out in a good time really nice 👌 plus we had room for pudding that was fantastic as well and for a nice surprise. The staff brought out a board with happy birthday in chocolates writing and doughnut 🍩 a nice surprise all the staff was fantastic big shout out to matt who look after us 😀 we will be back 10 out 10.

After avoiding the lamb for a while from bad past experiences years ago, We decided to go there for lunch today to give them another go, and I’m extremely glad we did, I was so impressed! Firstly the service was amazing from start to finish from a lovely man (I think he said his name was Aaron) and the food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. I only live locally too so I will 100% be returning!

This was our third visit to the Lamb Inn in the last few months.We had Calamari and Halloumi fries to start,the batter is so light and tasty.Hubby had fishfinger sandwich,which was also great.I had a lovely pie.To finish we had Sticky toffee pudding (which was just gorgeous)and the Apple crumble also very good.The staff were very attentive and friendly.Nice atmosphere also. (Only knocked the 1 star off the food due to a couple of options not available which two of us would of had.)

Had a fantastic meal with friends. Couldn't fault from start to finish. Aaron & his colleague made us feel very welcome. BBQ chicken schnitzel was beautiful & huge!! Highly recommend & will definitely return

We were incredibly impressed with the service we received for our private party. From start to finish, everything was seamless, welcoming, and professionally handled. In particular, the hospitality provided by the two young lads working the event was absolutely outstanding. Their attention to detail, customer care, and overall approach to hospitality truly made the party feel special. Nothing was too much for them, and they represented the pub brilliantly. We would also like to highlight the exceptional standard of the food provided. The quality was impeccable, perfectly prepared, and thoroughly enjoyed by all of our guests. We would have no hesitation in recommending your pub to anyone looking to host a private event, the service was exceptional. We will most definitely be using you again in the future. Had a lovely meal with family at the Lamb Inn this evening. Excellent home cooked food, and great value with the week day offer (2 mains for £22). Staff were really friendly and attentive. It's nicely done out and very cosy with the Christmas decorations at the moment! Great for children too. Will definitely go back here

We chose The Lamb to host a private function for approximately 50 guests. We were very impressed by the service, food and atmosphere. The pub itself is smart but has a friendly cosy feel. The staff were friendly and on hand to help when needed. I was particularly impressed by Aaron who was attentive and checked in regularly to ensure everything was okay. It is unusual to get good service so I was very pleased and impressed.The food was delicious and served in a separate room so it was easy for the guests to serve themselves as there was plenty of room. Overall I would recommend the pub for its service, friendly efficient staff and lovely food.

We ate here during the week to try their burgers. I had the bacon and cheese with 2 patties, on a brioche bun. It was very good indeed. The fact that their ale choice was non-existent resulted in 4 star rather than 5.

The food is fantastic, recommend the Lamb Rump the gravy is some of the best I've ever had. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was brilliant. The portion sizes were perfect, and great value for money. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere is brilliant the only criticism would be the slow service, we were not in a rush 2 courses took over 3 hours from getting seated to finishing and we had to chase them to order dessert which then took 30 minutes to come by which point we were the only table left seated. There had only been 8 tables being served so they were not busy. Overall I would recommend The Lamb and would come again to see if the slow service was a blip.

Definately book, especially on a Sunday or special occasion. Ample car parking and plenty of seating areas all with their own characteristics. There's the main restaurant, an enclosed conservatory area for larger private partys and an inside outside area which is a little cold in the winter months but dry none the less. There's also the main bar area if you just want to have a drink from the fully stocked bar see the pictures and be amazed.

We had a big group meal here (approx 15 of us), the staff were attentive and food came out relatively quickly! Will definitely be returning!

The salmon was so well cooked, very generous portions, however the small pudding with tea/coffee offer was disappointing , literally a slither amount, perhaps take a small amount off the mains and add a little in to the puddings. On the whole a lovely meal with friendly staff and the loos have been updated 👍👍

7 of us, 6 adults and a 2 year old, booked for lunch today. Very pleasant staff. Lovely light dining room decorated for Christmas. Nice choice of main menu or lunch menu. Tasty, hot food. Appealing children's menu. Quite a long wait between ordering/serving of food but several large tables ordering at the same time Will definitely return

Large pub with plenty of parking. We had Sunday lunch which was adequate. Very friendly and hard working staff- table had a Call for Service button which was very useful. Dog friendly. There were no cask beers when we were there plus a few things missing from the menu. My mini dessert plus drink was miniscule however it was all very reasonably priced

We came for our anniversary as was recommended. We had pate to start . Was lovely, strange addition of Mustard dressing though. Not ever seen that with pate , I didn't mind but hubby didn't like Mains were disappointing, I had cottage pie , my husband had sausage . Sausage was very nice , good quality , but however the veg were cold . Cottage pie although tasty was nearly all Gravy , and again the veg were cold . We did tell the server when we were asked about our meal , and we were offered a small discount on our wine . We didn't want that as that's wasn't the reason we complained. We both had puddings , Husband wasn't keen on his chocolate brownie, said it was a bit dry . I had the sticky, award winning toffee pudding , pudding itself was Luke warm , toffee sauce was lovely , but unfortunately again my custard was barely warm . Such a shame as overall the food was really good value . Can't fault the service we had . The 2 young male servers were very friendly and extremely pleasant.

Menu average for what u spend , needs chips and other carbs not poor fries. Salt & pepper in correct pots not spoons ( people use fingers ) wouldn't come back better meals else where .

The staff were pleasant so apologies to them for this review but the food was really terrible! Which really surprised us as of all the good reviews on here. Is there a different chef on a Thursday (or no chef) and we just got unlucky? We ordered pretty basic meals, a burger and a steak pie, the burger was tastless, the bacon had a disgusting taste and it took some time after to get over the foul taste. I needed a stihl saw to cut into the pie the crust was that hard and the veg was rather raw.. even the chips were terrible. Such a shame as we don't eat out often and this was meant to be a family meal out treat.. instead it was an experience keen to forget. On a positive the drinks were ok and the beer garden was ok with a good play area for kids.

Didn’t stay to eat. The Pizza menu that is available “Mon to Sat” was no longer available at 7.30 on a Saturday. Very disappointed as without that the veggie option were pretty sparse.

Booked A Table For Sunday 14th December Arrived For Lunch With My Family Only To Find Out The Kitchen Was Broke ?. The Front Of House Guy Said He'd Tried To Phone And Email Me But No Missed Call Or Email Very Annoyed . No Real Apology Nothing . Wont Be Bothering Them Pub Again . Theres Far Better Restaurants Close By .
