Nothing complements the magical view of Niagara river in a sunny day more than a perfect food. Shout-out to Anthony as he is one of the best servers I've ever met.

The staff was extremely friendly. Loved them. I was pleasantly surprised and content with the food. The pizza was good and pasta light and savory flavor. The pictures were an afterthought. We just dug in and took pics after. Trust me. The food looked so much prettier when it first got to the table. Their pizza left over...still delish!

Everything was perfect. Our server was grand. I think hey name was Olivia! She deserves a raise! Thank you for a good bday dinner for my hubby.

This place is beautiful and the food was amazing. The service was great. All around a must try. Can't wait till come back

We were greeted right away and seated even faster. The outdoor deck was wonderful everything was clean in the food was good except for a few bees it was a great experience. Great mimosas too😊😊

The food was great! Service amazing! They didn’t have kids menus at the time so they gave my 4 yr old grandson a real meal into color on. He played with it for days! Love the atmosphere as well. Sitting on the patio, enjoying dinner, it was just a great ambiance!

we could not have found a better venue to host out mom's 75th Birthday. The staff, attention to detail and food was phenomenal. We were able to give mom a wonderful celebration thanks the the most hospitable staff and accommodations provided to our family, looking forward to a future visit..

We had a wonderful time! Brayson was our waiter and he was fantastic. He recommended the perfect dishes for us and took his time getting some great photos of my husband and I. He was very personable and professional. We really enjoyed our time here and will be coming back!

Very nice place, the waitress was pleasant and nice. Was only 3 of us and tip was already included. I usually tip according to food and service, which was good but still.

Stopped here based on other people's reviews and it did not disappoint at all.....staff was excellent and nice and the place had nice patio seating. We ordered the house salad and was massive, then got the skirt stake and was delicious.....will 100% come back if in the area again.

This place was AMAZING!!! Best meal we have had by far better than black and blue, buffalo chophouse and others. We had the valentines day menu and it was to die for. I really wish they had this amazing menu all the time. The portion sizes were huge, the bone marrow was truly fantastic, the goat cheese was incredible best i've ever had. The short rib was sooooo good and huge, the rack of lamb so tender. And then the dessert was amazing!!! smores!! Also the price was amazing 120$ for 2 plus it also came with a bottle of wine and we had lobster bisque and a salad as well! Everything was done like that of such a high end restaurant and presentation

First time visit. Don't let this location throw you off because it is in a hotel. The view is incredible of the Niagara River with the north end grand island bridge in the background. Does have docking options. Service can be kind of slow, but for our visit I really didn't think it was bad at all. Waiter was pleasant and attentive. Food was pretty good. For our table, we got the Spinch Artichoke Dip (needed more salt we felt, but decent), Chicken Casear salad (delicious, chicken cooked perfectly), Crema Pesto pasta (very good, pasta was great), Chimchurri Steak and Frites (chimchurri yummy, steak was a little tough being medium rare, Cajun fries delicious), Chicken Alfredo with GF pasta (good classic dish, not the best alfredo I have had, GF pasta was good), Chicken Parm and Rigatoni with Meatballs (their homemade sauce is very classic tomato sauce, not a lot of seasoning, thick, tomato flavor). All in all, we thought the experience and meal was enjoyable.

Hotel restaurant with a nice view of the river and bridge. Service was decent, food was overpriced so we went with “smash” burgers which tasted more like a frozen patty on a bun. Served didn't even ask how we wanted them done.

Brason was a really great server and made sure all of our needs were met. It seemed like there was a staff shortage tonight and the wait was over an hour to get our food which was a little excessive given that there were only two of us. Overall, the food and the experience was great! We had a good time and would come back again! Wine selection and drinks were tasty and the dessert we got was delicious! Maybe hire a couple more people? Good work Brason!!!

All the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The bread service was great and the food was good. The food portions were large and worth the wait. Great outdoor seating with great view of the lake. We had a longer wait than expected but in the end we were happy with our experience. Would definitely return just for the bread!

Very cool place to dine at! Sitting on the patio in the summer is such a serene way to spend dinner. Food was pretty good, very large portions definitely, but a little overpriced in my opinion. Our service was okay, not super attentive even though the restaurant wasn't super busy, but not awful. A cool place to visit if you live in Niagara Falls, but having a 30 minute drive, I don't think I'll be back

It was the nicest restaurant around the Niagara Falls that I could find. First of all great location by the sea,very nice view when you’re having your meal. We tried thei pizza and pasta . We ordered the salmon cajun pasta which was amazing,it was perfectly cooked,pasta tasted fresh ,the sauce ,everything about it was delicious. For the pizza ordered truffle mushroom with arugula pizza, it was loaded with a good portion of mushroom and the crust was super thin. We love the food +atmosphere +service. The only thing,our service was super nice but since only she was working for the all customers service was super slow. Other than that I highly recommend this place 🍝

Restaurant inside the hotel. Nice views of the river. Olivia - our server - was pleasant and helpful. The fries here are very good. Cannot say that is true of the burger. If you believe that eating good tasting meat is a sin - the burger here is safe for you.

It’s a hotel restaurant- not my fav but the food was good and the patio dining was lovely.

I loved the outdoor seating patio. This was the main reason I went here. Our waiter Anthony was also super nice. However, we wanted the steamers and they weren’t available so we were a little disappointed about that. So we got the octopus instead which was really good. Our main entree was okay I thought the shrimp was really good but I didn’t love the noodles.

We had a last minute , unplanned visit to this restaurant as a pit stop on our drive . We were seated quickly on the patio , and the views were pretty . However the constant bugs crawling on us were a bit annoying . We had our food picked out within minutes , but it took a fairly long time for the food to come out. My creamy pesto pasta was delicious, the kids chicken tenders and fries were basic, and the 2 patty smash burger was average . Our waitress Emily was great, and other staff were friendly . Oversell a decent experience and a nice pit stop getting some fresh air .

EXCELLENT food! Gorgeous view East Niagara River, North end of Grand Island, north Grand Island bridge. We sat on the back patio, part of which is covered. Prices a little high, I think. But not "out of line", given the quality of the dishes we had. The 4 stars rather than five has to do with how a particular complaint about one person's food prep was done, and the seeming indifference to that complaint.

My friends & I wanted to take advantage of the riverview on an amazing day which held up to the hype. Went about 2:30ish only a few people in the restaurant & the server was amazing. I respect he came up to me & told me ny food was done 1st & offered to bring it out to me. I told him, I'll wait till my other friends food was done, but 15 minutes later he offered again concerned it would get cold & then brought it out to me. While eating, they finally brought out my friends food which the kitchen should do a better cooking times so all the food can come out at once but overall good & want to check out a more lively time when they have the bands playing. I'll be back! 😀

I want to give this a 5 star so badly. The food was awesome, and our waitress was super. She addressed all our allergy concerns and gave us our appetizers for free when the ticket for them was lost. The view from inside the restaurant is lovely, with even a place to tie your boat to the dock. Great outdoor seating as well. But, the wait time is terrible. A very small team appears to currently work there. While they did a great job it took well over an hour to get out food, and most of us never got a refill. In our experience the food was worth the wait, but something like complimentary bread would have gone a long way to help us endure the wait time. Despite the wait, we would likely visit again.

Went for an afternoon lunch. Restaurant overlooks the river perhaps a mile above niagra falls. They were not busy at the time. S few tables were outside, we were the only table inside. We had the eggplant parmesean and the strip steak dish. Eggplant was great, steak and bit overdone (i asked for medium, no pink at all) though it still had good flavor. Prices were average for a hotel finer dining place. Staff was friendly though a bit inattentive. Overall a good visit. Went along the river shore from the outside seating while waiting for our meals.

Whole experience was just “okay”. Food prices didn’t match the quality of food. Portions were good sized, but once again, quality wasn’t great. The best thing from the whole meal was the bread service and drinks. I heard great things about the pizza from people around us, so I would maybe come back and try that. The view is beautiful, so I could definitely see coming here in the summer to utilize the outdoor space and try something else on the menu.

Atmosphere 4/5 Service 5/5 Food 2/5 Note: Beware if you want to sit on patio in first week of June/last week of May; plague of bugs which makes it so you cannot go out to patio (this did not affect rating, just unlucky) Atmosphere: -Clean cutlery/glasses -Very nice views Food: Charcuterie Board (Small) - $14 (3*/5*) Pros: -Large portion and filling -Very flavorful -Sweet grapes -Nice, clean presentation Cons: -Crackers taste a bit burnt -Pickled vegetables are a bit strange to substitute the olives -Grapes were a bit bruised -Very little meat selection (only salami and a bit of prosciutto) Cajun Salmon Pasta - $18 (1*/5*) Pros: -Salmon was cooked nicely; not overcooked or dry -Cherry tomatoes were nicely cooked Cons: -Very oily -Sauce lacked taste; was very smoky and bland (felt like no salt was added) -Salmon had bones in it (felt like all bones should have been removed if they were gonna give you shredded pieces) -Pasta stuck together constantly so it felt like you were eating a blob of noodles (pre-cooked noodles?) Recommendation: -Get the pizza instead (dough is very nice)

We went there for dinner with family. Lovely view must say. We sat at the patio. Service was bad. Very slow. They missed out one order. Fries came in super late (but they removed it from bill so that was good). Kids pasta was so not fresh and soft. Pizza dough was good but pizza was bland...all of then were bland.

It was absolutely horrible. Food was bad. Half of Pizaa was burnt. When i took a bite of the other side Couldnt even eat it. When i asked the server she told as you guys ate half of the pizza nothing can be done. Who gives black pizza come on. Edit: the general manager of the hotel fixed it. The server apparently lied to us. Adding one star for the help of the general manager.now given 2 star from original one

Although the server was very good, the food came out very slow. The chicken fettuccine was dry and appeared to have been under a warmer for a long time. The edges of the noodles were crunchy. The sauce for the chicken parmesan looked and tasted like canned tomato paste. The spinach artichoke dip, although it was edible, was not great. Out of 6 people in our party, only 1 person liked the food, and even that was not fresh. The fish and chips were made with frozen fish. Overall, this was a waste of $150. Do not go to this restaurant if you want good food.

Waitress w as awful! Gave us menus, brought drinks then took appetizer order. She never came back until she brought the app. Then she finally took our order. Rigatoni with meatballs is what I ordered, while it had good flavor the pasta was cold but the meatballs were hot. 🤷‍♀️ Took 10 minutes to get a drink refill. Hoping breakfast will be better.

The one star is for the water we drank. The food was bland, we ordered 2 pastas and the chicken in them tasted like rubber. The pizza was under salted and lacked even basic flavour and cheese It took almost an hour for the food to arrive and when it finally did- it was the most disappointing meal. Would absolutely not recommend going here for the food. The view is great.

It was disappointing experience. As you can see, many portions of the pizza were burnt. I was told that its supposed to be like that by the waitress (as I have never eaten pizza before). Complaint was not taken with proper customer service. In addition to that, chicken was undercooked. It was good view outside tho..

I came to this Restaurant because some reviews and their social media. But, honestly the food was so bad. The worst pizza I’ve ever eaten.

Beautiful view...but be prepared to wait.... and wait! 15 minutes for server to show. Had to ask for my wine twice. At least 40 minutes for appetizer and it was wasnt garnished. Entrees were well over an hour and obviously sat in the window awhile. They are NOT busy. Dont waste your money.

Visited for lunch for outside patio to be seated with service dog, the personal was rude and we waited for 10 min while all table was empty. The hostess was running back and forth hesitant to sit us down. We left as we realize we will not be seated. This facility is not following Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and will be reported as negligence.

We had a really disappointing experience here at Bella Vista Ristorante. The restaurant was clearly short-staffed, and it showed. Nobody ever came around to offer drink refills, and the servers who did stop by weren’t very friendly. The atmosphere was flat—no music, no energy—and after waiting an entire hour with no food in sight, we finally gave up and left. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place based on our visit.
