Had lunch today! Had a gyro with fries. My friend had the chicken parm sub and my mom had the pizza. Everything was very good! Would go back again! Employees were really nice also!

The lady behind the counter was so nice, I ordered a chicken parm sandwich with some wedding soup and Cannolis. I can't overstate how good the food is here, it was delicious. Everything came out warm and cooked perfectly. 100% would come back

My dad always told me that you can tell a good deli by their pastrami. I was absolutely blown away. My roommates both got the cheese steak, and were raving about them. I'm excited to come back and try some of the other things on the menu.

Fantastic cheese steak and fries! Sorry no pictures to add, but we will return for a pizza night. I only wish they had a coke fountain instead of canned drinks, but it's not a deal breaker for me.

Me and my wife stopped in here the other day and had the steak and cheese. Both sandwiches were phenomenal very well done. The owner was passing out pizza for everyone to try as well. Just the cheese and the pizza was absolutely fantastic. We’re definitely going back for round two highly recommended.

This place is absolutely amazing. Outstanding costumer service and absolutely delicious freshly prepared food. We had sandwiches and fries both times we went, literally every single ingredient was amazing, from the bread to the sauces, the vegetables and especially the fries, they are so good, well seasoned and, crispy, we so will be back to try more. They also offer a military discount, as a military family, we highly appreciate all the support. I would give you guys 10 stars if I could, way to go.

My husband and I got our order for delivery tonight and it was our first time trying Don Rocco's. We ordered the Cuban, Cheesesteak with Wiz, fries, garlic parm fried mushrooms, pasta salad, and tiramisu! Everything traveled very well, minus the fries (I think because of the steam in the container they got soft and floppy BUT still good!). The meats tasted of great quality and our sandwiches had great flavor! The pasta salad had a great element of acidity which balanced out the flavors of the rest of our food. We LOVED the fried mushrooms. Their tiramisu surprised me because at first glance (round container not the norm) I thought it looked like pudding, but it was so good I almost didn't want to share with my husband 😅 Portions are big, so order/go hungry! We'll definitely be regular customers and can't wait to try other menu items in restaurant next time!

Service was fantastic, great staff. The sandwiches and pizzas remind me of some of the mom and pop delis up in NY from when I lived up there. The food was excellent. Everything is priced well and they are Accommodating and support the military vets. Would definitely recommend, You will not be disappointed.

We love going to Doc Rocco's and always get their cheesesteaks! It's our favorite by a long shot and we look forward to going there. People that work there are nice and service is fast. Ordered the classic cheesesteak combo (with wiz and fries) and the cheese pizza. We enjoyed everything. Lemon water is available for those who do not like paying for their soda. To go containers are “help yourself” style which is great! Staff was super friendly while ordering and checked on us once we started eating. Top notch all around and five stars!

Saw this place while going to one of my Peek a Boo appts. After reading great reviews I had to see for myself. I got the loaded chicken cheesesteak without the "wiz" and it exceeded my expectations! The sub was full and very tasty. My husband got the Cuban on Ciabatta and loved it as well. The owner, Paul, was very frienly and inviting as was the young lady who took our order. And we couldn't leave without trying one of the desserts! The canolis come in an order of 2 and my husband inhaled it so I guess that tells you something. We will definitely be back!

Hidden gem in Fredericksburg!!! I was visiting family and went twice. The first time, I got the chicken Philly cheese steak with cheese wiz. It was amazing. The rolls they use are delicious, toasted but still soft, no idea how they do that. The second time, I got a meatball parm grinder and pizza. So good!!! I can't wait to go back.

Great place to go. The staff was very friendly. I got the Johnny cheese steak which was fantastic. My family got the Gyro, kids pizza and some onion rings. All of which were great. I will be back for sure!

Took our son here while he was home on leave, as always the food was made fresh, hot, and delicious!!! They give you so much food that none of us could eat more than half of our meal, so we got to enjoy it again for lunch the next day!!! The prices are super affordable too!!!

Delicious, independent, counter serve place with the best sandwich you’re going to eat in this whole area. My wife tried this place a few months ago and I was in the area so I had it today. Filling too. I got the pastrami and rye, asked for it to be served warm which they did 😊 I ordered the side of pasta salad, that way I ate less grease with my lunch. This is a gem of Philly-area cuisine here in Fredericksburg. No real other competition either. Will def be back!

I absolutely love going to Doc Rocco’s! Not only for the food, but because Grayson is such a wonderful person! He is so welcoming and kind. You can tell he sincerely cares about everyone that comes in and he wants to make them happy. Every time we order for pick up or delivery the food is crazy hot and so so good. It’s our go-to for ordering when we have family and friends visiting. We love the deli sandwiches and the cheesesteaks and now have grown to love their pizza. The owner and staff are so damn friendly and proactive. Our order was missing some items and before it even arrived, the owner called to make it right. I’ve taken my little one in there to pick up food and everyone was kind and friendly where some places get annoyed with kids. Just all around great place and I hope they stick around for the long haul.

This was our first visit here but definitely not our last! First, let me just say that that staff member, Grayson, who served us was awesome! Very personable, fast, and friendly. Then there was our food. Yum!! I ordered the cheesesteak and my husband ordered the pizza and it was fantastic! They were both so good. Lastly, not only did we get great service, and good food, but you could not beat the prices!! If you haven’t tried Doc Rocco’s, I highly encourage you too!

I purchased a steak and cheese sub from Doc Rocco's yesterday 5/24/24. It was one of the best I have eaten in the Fredericksburg area and the service was awesome. The sub was well prepared and looked great. I hate to buy a sandwich that is sloppily made and just thrown together. I hope the next time it will be the same because I have been to many restaurants and for some reason each time the same item may taste totally different due to the cook/preparer making it different. I would like to see a restaurant have a guide to go by on each menu item that tells the cook/preparer on how to make it so each time it taste the same. I will follow up the next time I eat a steak and cheese sub and let you know if it taste and looks the same

We were looking for a great cheese steak sub in the Fredericksburg area and Doc Rocco's did not disappoint. The 7 inch cheese steak was more than enough with plenty of meat. I took off one star because they lack fountain drinks. The inside dining area is quite small so the take out option might be better. But the food is certainly worth the visit.

Amazing experience! Super cute place. I think the owner is the one who’s out front taking orders/making them which is so cool. You can tell he really puts his heart into every sandwich. The food was super tasty, I got the Cuban and my bf got the Johnny B, 10/10 recommend. It’s the kind of place you wanna become a regular at.

My son suggested Doc's after seeing the reviews. We had seen the change in signs while at Lowe's. The owner greeted us as he was taking an order to the kitchen and gave us a quick reason for opening Doc's. The new decor is great. There were several groups of patrons. Although we ordered our meal to go, we decided to stay and eat.i had classic combo, 7 inch sandwich, fries & can of Arizona Ice Tea & son had pizza sub by itself. We both took half a sandwich to enjoy later at home. We will definitely return & I already told coworkers about Doc's.

I have no idea how I havent rated this one. It's hands down our FAVORITE spot to stop at. Food is all incredible and anyone can find something to eat. Desserts also are on point . Fresh squeezed flavored and regular lemonade is sooooo good and a great portion. Must try and absolute hidden gem.

I was so happy after finding this place today. I was searching for a good salad because I'm eating more raw foods. I had the Mediterranean Salad without the feta to go. The portion was great and left me full. The customer service was amazing. I was greeted by friendly people. The dining area is clean and inviting. If you are looking for healthy options, try the salads. SUPER GOOD!!! I will be back. Next time, I will post a picture of my salad. It was so good I wasn't even thinking to snap a photo.

Went in today and got 3 subs. (I sometimes do a little taste test of someplace new). Reuben Roast pork Cheese steak(The OG) Every single one had it's own flavor profile and set it's self apart from the others. Each were hot, fresh and tasty. I must say I am pleasantly surprised how good these were. Great job guys. This will happily be my sub shop now.

First time here and we couldn’t have been happier! Grayson greeted us as we walked in the door and quickly took our order. That young man is just a ray of sunshine - super friendly and upbeat! My caprese sandwich was outstanding. I expected a dense bread but the roll it was served on was nice and light, allowing the cheese and the balsamic glaze to release their full flavor. I asked Grayson if there was any basil in the kitchen and walked over to a pair of basil plants, picked off some leaves, and handed them to me. Talk about fresh! The man ordered the Reuben and he said it was fantastic. Great fresh food, great service, and a clean bathroom to boot. What’s not to like?!

We visited this restaurant last night! Our subs were amazing! I had the steak and cheese with onion rings...SO GOOD!! Hubby had the Italian, DELICIOUS. My son had a kids chicken strips with fries. His chicken strips were GREAT!! We also tried their Tiramisu, Snickerdoodle cookie and Chocolate Cake! WOW! The staff was super friendly!!! We took food home to our older kids (one kid is gluten sensitive). They have gluten-free sub rolls!!! Yay!!! We shall return soon!!!

Without question this place has the BEST pizza steak outside of Philly itself. It might even be better. (not joking I probably tried 30+ places in and around Philly, NYC, and Jersey over my 2.5 years on the road). They do an amazing job! It felt like I was back up north.

They offer fresh mushrooms which I do not like on pizza. They just get dried out. He offered to sauté them for me and the pizza turned out so good. The crust was thin and had just the right amount of crisp to it. The sauce was so good. It's probably the best pizza sauce I've had. He said this was his own recipe. We made another visit today. The place was packed with people waiting for to-go orders and dining in. But the orders were coming out pretty quickly. We decided on sandwiches but as they are still waiting on their supply of Boars Head for the cold sandwiches all they were offering were hot sandwiches. I got a large steak and cheese and for an extra $3 made it a combo with fries and a drink. I did customize my sandwich with onions and peppers, no lettuce and they offer a variety of cheese including wiz. I went with American. My sandwich came out exactly as I ordered it, and the steak was delicious. Tender, and very flavorful. I'm not sure what seasoning they use, but it was very good. The bread was soft and held the filling nicely. The fries were hot and cooked through, but could have probably used a minute or so longer in the fryer for some color. I didn't care for the canned soda, so just got a bottle of water. My husband got the Italian Roast pork which came with sauteed spinach, sharp provolone and garlic aioli. He's used to having this sandwich with broccoli rabe, but said the spinach was a nice change. The pork was tender and flavorful. Both visits we left with half our meal. The portions are plentiful and the service is great. The young lady behind the counter was pleasant and the owner goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied with your food. This will place will definitely be in our regular rotation.

First visit! A takeout veggie sandwich; it was freshly made, variety of veggies, and soft white sub roll. Both staff member interactions were professional and polite; I even asked about the shirt one wore as it's a kind message. The space was clean, bright, and had cucumber water available for those waiting or dining in. I would return for a sit-down visit :)

Had a car date with my husband, and ordered take out. It was absolutely delicious in every way. Hubby got the loaded cheese steak, the meat was tender and juicy and huge portions and prolific toppings. I had the cuban, which was hands down one of the best I've ever had. Thick slices of seasoned pork and perfect pickles, served on a really tasty toasted ciabatta roll. We both had fries, which were fresh and salted well. And an order of canolis that were exquisite. All for under $40, with leftovers. We will def be back to try the rest of the menu.

I was in the area and I decided to search if anybody had cheese steaks, and this location came up. So I decided to give it a shot. I got a Philly cheesesteak and a cold Italian sub some raspberry and a strawberry lemonade and cheese sticks. The food was absolutely delicious. The lemonade was 10 out of 10 perfect mixture not too tar not too sweet taste completely fresh staff was wonderful with the young lady who brought the order out, was full of smiles and so courteous and kind she looked like she truly enjoyed her job and the bonus was the curbside feature many places like this do not offer curbside and I think this is a big feature that can set an establishment apart from other establishment 10 out of 10 will definitely return.

If I could give more stars I would. Cheesesteak is perfect. Get it OG. Great owner, great service. My go to place for Cheesesteak sandwiches. No one even comes close to being as good as this. Do yourself a favor and eat it there, instead of take out, makes it even better!

My son and I had the pleasure of having a pizza date here on a Saturday, not only did he love the pizza & salad, he absolutely loved the staff! Super friendly and sweet and very accommodating for my 6yo. We will definitely be back soon!

My girlfriend found this place as we were traveling back from NC to NOVA. It’s maybe a mile off I-95, but was well worth the stop. When we entered, we were greeted by the staff who were very eager to make us feel welcome. The menu is a good selection of sandwiches and pizza. We notice that they had a lunch combo that is a cheese steak, order of fries, and can of soda for just under $12. Never one to resist a good deal, we both ordered the cheese steak combo. After a few minutes, the guy who took our order emerged from the kitchen with two trays with our two sandwiches and orders of fries. You get to select your own drink from a well stocked cooler of various cans of soda (both Coke and Pepsi products). They have a couple of tables outside with sun shades, so we elected to sit outside. The sandwich and fries were both delicious. The meat is cooked perfectly and has just the right amount of juice to make the sandwich succulent but without making the bread soggy. You have a choice of Swiss, white American or cheese whiz. The serving of fries was heaping. We could have split an order and been plenty full. They were cooked and salted perfectly too. This made for a perfect meal after hours of being on the road. I will definitely stop here again, as I want to try their other sandwiches too. The cheese steak will be hard to resist though….This is a great place, as it is low key, the food is simple but delicious, and a great value. A perfect place to stop in the middle of a long drive. I’m sure they do takeout and maybe delivery too. If I lived closer, I would definitely do takeout from here regularly. They make a reliably good deli sandwich for a great price.

I was in the area and I decided to search if anybody had cheese steaks, and this location came up. So I decided to give it a shot. I got a Philly cheesesteak and a cold Italian sub some raspberry and a strawberry lemonade and cheese sticks. The food was absolutely delicious. The lemonade was 10 out of 10 perfect mixture not too tar not too sweet taste completely fresh staff was wonderful with the young lady who brought the order out, was full of smiles and so courteous and kind she looked like she truly enjoyed her job and the bonus was the curbside feature many places like this do not offer curbside and I think this is a big feature that can set an establishment apart from other establishment 10 out of 10 will definitely return.

Had a car date with my husband, and ordered take out. It was absolutely delicious in every way. Hubby got the loaded cheese steak, the meat was tender and juicy and huge portions and prolific toppings. I had the cuban, which was hands down one of the best I've ever had. Thick slices of seasoned pork and perfect pickles, served on a really tasty toasted ciabatta roll. We both had fries, which were fresh and salted well. And an order of canolis that were exquisite. All for under $40, with leftovers. We will def be back to try the rest of the menu.

First time me and my wife had been here she wanted a reuben and she was very happy with it, I had the Italian roast pork, both ordered the garlic parm fries as a side and was delicious all of it. Really friendly service from the owner and server and will definitely be coming again to try the pizza in the future as it looks amazing

My family and I have been here a few times. Doc Rocco's has blown us away with every visit. The food has been absolutely amazing and the staff is phenomenal!! OG Cheesesteak, French Dip, Pizza all highly recommended. The Strawberry Lemonade is too good! We'll be back!

Tried this place for the first time. Portions are plentiful and tasty. Staff was great and friendly. Has the cheese steak, macaroni salad and canolli for dessert.

Coming from Philly it’s challenging to find good pizza/chsteaks in Virginia..The food here was pretty good, particularly the pizza, probably some of the better pizza around fxbg. The cheese steak was better than most in the area. A Philly 4 but a Virginia 7. The meat was good quality and cheese was well balanced, it seem to have an onion/garlic powder flavor that just seemed off for me though. Overall, great new spot!

Good pizza, and very good mediterranean salad. However, this is not traditional NY style pizza, in that it's slightly thicker than the typical thin crust. The pizza is good and has a nice balance of flavors - especially the 12" White Garlic Spinach Feta specialty pizza.

Love their cheesesteaks. Was about to place an order, but the prices increased a lot. Like, almost 50% on the Johnny B. Bummer. Going for Mexican instead. Over $40 for two 7” subs and fries to share is a little nuts. :(

The food was ready in a timely fashion and the order was correct. The food itself was average. They have an option for selecting curbside pick-up, but the restaurant doesn't have any designated parking or texts for it, so you have to walk in to pick up your order anyways.

Wasn’t impressed with our food. Had an old timer pizza and cheesesteak. Pizza crust was “meh.” Cheesesteak roll was soggy and overstuffed. Maybe it’s just a matter of taste.

Ate there tonight 9/11. The Cuban - isn't. Not Cuban bread, not pressed, "spiced" pork is very generic. It has most of the ingredients, but falls way short. My wife had the steak and cheese w/whiz - it was hard to judge accurately due to the HEAVY garlic, that was a first. Friendly service, kitchen on time, clean place and fair pricing.

We visited for the first time today and there were a few things we really liked. The service was great, the food came out fast, and the price was fair for what we ordered. The French fries were delicious and my husband loved his cheesesteak, however I did not enjoy the chicken on my chicken Parmesan sub. It was tough and chewy and, in my opinion, needed to be trimmed up more to remove excess fat. The sauce and bread were great on the sub, but the chicken really needed some work. I would like to revisit and try something else because I think there is a lot of potential here!

I experienced one of the best veggie subs I had in my life during their grand opening week that was reminiscent of Great Steak at the mall. The mozzarella cheese was stretching off the sub like in the commercials! Unfortunately, every veggie sub I ordered since then has been well below standards. One was literally missing cheese, one was a soaking mess, and the others had a strange flavor from the olives and spinach. I miss their week 1 food!

The floors are very dirty and the food was way too salty and I asked for more ketchup in the bottle and he told me to use the packets. I also let him know that all the Diet Coke was expired and he didn’t seem to care. So make sure you check the dates on everything that you get!

Really wanted to try them out, but they only deliver through Door Dash, Uber eats and another one. Not worth the large markup. Vocelli delivers. Docs is missing out. People don’t like to pay huge extra cost for pizza, or they just don’t want or need the business. Don’t waste time calling them.
