Tex Chicken in Woodbridge is amazing! Prices are super low, but the quality is even better than Popeyes or KFC. The food is always fresh, the packaging is professional, and the service is quick and friendly. A full meal for six with burgers, fried chicken, and sides comes out to around $100, which is a great deal. Highly recommended, you’ll fall in love with this food.

I stopped by this place on a whim, and wow — I'm so glad I did. The burger was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly how I asked (medium). The bun was soft but held everything together, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome right away. The service was quick, even though the place was busy, and everything came out hot and fresh. Prices were very fair for the quality you're getting. This is the kind of spot you end up recommending to everyone. Can’t wait to come back and try their spicy burger next time!

Such an amazing store and had a wonderful interaction with one of the people at the register named Ali. He gave fresh chicken that came straight out the fryer and also gave us fresh biscuits. We even asked if he could give less legs and more thighs and he did. Such an amazing staff. The food was so fresh and hot I burned my hand trying to eat it. Will definitely be going back there again soon.

Excellent food for a great price. The Bacon Cheeseburger was delicious. The Fiery Chicken Sandwich was really good. I like spicy food and this was slightly painful, but extremely flavorful and juicy. I'll get the standard next time. Fries were pretty good as well. Their pricing is extremely reasonable for the quality of food, especially in this current inflationary era.

Ordered spicy crispy chicken combo with Mac and cheese. Food was fresh to cook. Chicken is not over loaded with any sauce. Chicken has its own taste. Lettuce and tomato were fresh.

Solid spot if you’re craving comfort food done right. The chicken is crispy and well-seasoned, and the burgers are juicy and satisfying. I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh everything tasted—definitely better than your typical fast food joint. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick even during the dinner rush. Clean space, good vibes, and great prices. Will be back for sure!

Probably one of the best halal chicken spots in Woodbridge. The only thing I would say that needs improvement is their service. They only have 1 person at the register, they need 2-3 to keep up with the pace of the orders coming in and fulfilling the orders that were already placed.

The food at Texas Chicken & Burgers is really tasty — the chicken is crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned, and the burgers are fresh and flavorful. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are good. However, the service can be quite slow at times, especially during busy hours. It takes a while for orders to be ready, even for takeout. Other than that, it’s a good spot for comfort food if you’re not in a rush.

I have only tried the Fried Chicken and Biscuits. Good quality chicken. Spicy is spicy but doesn't linger too long.. My son says the burgers were good but he is 13 lol.. Staff seems friendly. Burgers will ne next..

This is our 4th time visiting. We waited over 30 minutes for our food because one employee didn't communicate to another employee that he needed chicken tenders so we're sitting there waiting food until someone from the back asked if we were waiting for a n order. The food is good, disappointed in the size of sides. We ordered the 8 piece family meal and you would think that you get sides that would feed everybody but no they're equivalent to KFC's individual sides and Tex's calls them large sides.

Space

The food is good, but one piece has been missing three separate times I ordered pick up. Only noticed it when I got home, not worth going back at that point. Not sure who puts it in the boxes (kitchen or the front) but they either need to train properly or quality check.

Tonight was my first visit, but, sadly, I'm not as enthusiastic about the chicken as other reviewers have been. Mine was old, overcooked, and dried out. If I lived a little closer, I would have taken it back and asked for fresh or a refund. I should not have to do that though. If you want customers to return, a little quality control would go a long way! I really wanted to like it, so maybe I'll give it another try at some point....I just doubt it will be any time soon! Sorry!

This place has mostly good reviews so we were excited to try it out. We ordered a cheeseburger and a spicy chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, we were super disappointed in the quality of the food. The food was barely warm and the buns were cold. The fries were also lukewarm and flavorless. Overall, I would describe our meals as bland and underwhelming. Maybe they were just having a bad night, but I do not recommend this location.

Amoon was kind…but..DO NOT get the French fries, they’re from Burger King; DO NOT get the bacon, it’s more chewy than gum and it doesn’t break down as you chew; DO NOT get the burgers, the bun and patty breaks apart in your hands; DO NOT get the “large”, they only give two super small sides; DO NOT get the fountain drink, I went for a coke and an indescribable item came out of the fountain and I was just given a new cup….This place is ONLY good for their chicken..NOTHING ELSE! If you get the chicken DO NOT get the meal, you will leave disappointed, dissatisfied and have an underwhelming experience…DO NOT come with any expectations..just settle with the chicken and look for something else to eat the chicken with…a typical Dumfries experience…biscuits are great though.
