We ordered beef brisket, half rack, kimchi coleslaw. Beef brisket is super. Flavorful, moist, and fatty portion just melts in your mouth. Picture doesn't do justice. 1/18/2025 update: tried smoked chicken wing with k pop topping, wings are delicious but k pop sauce is too salty. Also tried turkey, really good

Listen up Niskayuna and surrounding areas .... I'm a southern boy and know brisket and ribs .... This is a family owned and operated small business. Very environmentally friendly when giving to go / take out containers (see pic). I had the privilege to attend their soft opening (last two pics) and then went back for lunch a week later... on with the review !! This stuff literally falls off the bone with a plastic fork. Yummmmmmmmy !! You will not be disappointed if you like smoked / BBQ meats.. The ribs with the BBQ sauce is, let's just say THE BOMB. Their brisket is smoked till tender ( Like a mother's love for their children) yes it's that good!! their Mac n cheese is beyond this universe...I could eat this every day. The coleslaw is mouth-watering with just right texture and spices. I could go on, but you need to try this place for yourself!! You will not be disappointed!! P.S.... I almost forgot the melt in your mouth cornbread with honey butter... this you could order by it's self!!

Ordered the 3 meat platter, wow. Brisket and ribs were outstanding. Cornbread with honey butter was the best I’ve ever had. The heat on the beans was perfection. Generous portions. Atmosphere was family friendly. 10/10. We’ll be back.

This was our first time here tonight, I saw a review on Tik Tok from some guy from Buffalo raving about how yummy it is so I figured we'd come out and try tonight, and we were not disappointed. We were greeted as soon as we open the door with a big smile which was definitely nice! The first thing we saw was all the smokiness in the atmosphere which automatically equals yumminess! There are two large tables with four seats and I think at least two or three two seats tables to sit down. They have a couch and a chair for people that are waiting for orders. So it's more of a takeout kind of restaurant not an eat in. We chose to eat in, we waited about 10 minutes for our food and I think it was the owner that gave us our food he was super sweet and enthusiastic! He asked us if that was our first time there and we said yes and he gave us some cornbread with some honey butter on it which was moist and delicious, so thank you for that! I got the corned beef sandwich which had a lot of cornbeef, sauerkraut and chesse on it that tasted very good. The bread was delicious I've always loved a good tasting marble rye. It came with crunchy Kettle style potatoes chips and I also got a side of the kimchi coleslaw which was spicy and delicious. My husband got the two meats plate, he got the ribs and the brisket and barbecue sauce on the side. He also got the mac and cheese and the potato salad. He says the ribs and the brisket were both cooked very well and they were both moist and tasty, he did not try the barbecue sauce cuz he's not a big fan he likes the meat the way it is with no sauce. He says the mac and cheese is creamy and delicious and on point and the potato salad was pretty good also and it wasn't Miracle Whip which is a total bonus we are a Hellman's family! My son got the brisket sandwich and he was pretty much licking the cheese off the paper cuz he was so in love with this sandwich. All he did was talk about brisket all the way home saying how much he loves brisket now. He even wanted to Google where brisket came from LOL the only thing I wish they would change is possibly getting a soda fountain because all they have is bottled drinks and some kind of other drink I didn't even recognize. The proportions were pretty big I had to take half of my sandwich home with me. The service and the atmosphere was definitely excellent. You can definitely tell the people that work there love their job and what they do and they like having customers come in, they make you feel very welcome. Overall we had a great experience and we will definitely be back! We really wanted to try the wings but we were too full!

Excellent Food and Customer Service, Brisket was delicious and no sauce was needed, how it should be! I will be back and might even let my fiancée try some next time, but the dog got to her portion first!

Got the hot honey garlic and buffaque wings which were both incredibly cooked. Crispy and juicy and sauced so perfectly. By far the best wing I’ve had in a very long time! A must go for anyone who loves bbq

I’ve had BBQ in Texas, North Carolina, Florida, and this capital region diamond competes with them all. We got wings which were well seasoned, crispy, and juicy; hard to pull off on a grill. We also got a porchetta sandwich that had the most amazing chimichurri mayo. 10/10 flavor, 10/10 atmosphere, 10/10 service. Please give this place a try because this BBQ spot brings smoke!

I'm really impressed with Meat & Company. They're about 30 minutes away from us and when we arrived home with our order we realized we only got about half the food we paid for. When we called back Jenna personally handled getting a driver to hoof the rest of our meal out to us and comp'd our entire meal. We always loved the food here, but now we love the service as well!

We were having an impromptu gathering and needed to feed a bunch of folks quickly. Meat & Company to the rescue! They were able to make two family-size orders in about half an hour. When we went to pick up our order, the staff was so attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and we had one happy, well-fed crew!

This place is delicious came in recently and ordered got home and was missing a sandwich I called them and they immediately made it right I live in Rotterdam and they came all the way out here with a whole bag of food extra stuff as well! They even let me get a sample of the brisket before I bought it and let me tell you it was outstanding! Finding out they were family-owned was even better as I am partial to family-owned small businesses definitely a must try if you're looking for a really good barbecue!

Meat and Co. What a great experience! The food was excellent. We ordered corn chowder and taco k pop for apps both were delicious. I then ate a brisket and cheese sandwich which was so moist and tender. My son had Japanese eggplant sandwich and it was truly delicious. The service was quick kind and friendly. This restaurant is fantastic! pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, garlic parm wings, and sweet wings, mac and cheese. The wings were juicy and plump. Fresh grated parm cheese on the wings,delicious! The mac and cheese was flavorful and loaded with yummy cheeses. The brisket was tender, cooked perfect and hardy. The pulled pork was juicy with just the right amount of barbecue sauce.The girl at the counter was an absolute charm. She was very personable. I asked if she was an owner and she said no, " but the owners are like family and wonderful people to work for". She said she loved her job! That made our visit even better. Positive energy. Very clean, nice tables and a comfy couch to relax on. The prices are good for the quality of the food. Try this place I promise you'll be a regular! Kudos to the staff and owners 😁

Yall!!! This is a hidden gem I just found. Their food is amazing and the staff members go above and beyond. Fantastic service and great food. I hate that I'm moving soon but will visit here again a couple of times before I move out of state.

Benjamin and his team at Meat and Company truly blessed our church dinner! They catered for 15 of us, and everyone was raving about the food. The wings were perfectly cooked, the brisket was tender and full of flavor, and the cornbread was absolutely heavenly. The mac and cheese was rich and comforting—everything tasted made with love. We’re so grateful for their excellent service and the care they put into every dish. It was a meal that brought our church family together in fellowship and joy. Highly recommend them for any gathering!

I had seen the restaurant advertised on a local news station when one of the new anchors went there and they did a live interview and showed some of the food they serve. A friend's son went there and like the food. The restaurant is located in a strip mall next to a market 32 so it is kind of a place you would not be there. As soon as you open the door you get the great bbq smell and it sure is good. We were greeted at the counter were we had placed our order. We had a few questions as to what options were available to you and our question was answered. We ordered a 3 meat combo, our choice was brisket, pulled pork and ribs, 2 sides were macaroni and cheese and the pit beans. Also ordered the pulled chicken sandwich. Monday through Friday they have different sandwich options to choose from. There was seating when we arrived but there is not a lot of seats, most of the orders we had seen were take out. The macaroni and cheese is made to order and was excellent, the pit beans had burnt ends in them and at first had a little kick to them but we're fine after that. The platter came out in a well organized half tin pan with a cover. Easy to take any left overs home. The ribs were very good and not loaded with bbq sauce at all. The brisket was not fatty and was juicy, the pulled pork was also very good. Place was very clean. Like any bbq, you will need napkins, especially with ribs. I would also recommend the smoke turkey, it is not dry and is moist. We will go back again.

Went here due to a tiktoker called LocalEats and was not disappointed at all. I had the Kpop Chicken wings w/ potato salad and WOW definitely coming back! Sensational flavor, the customer service is divine and the atmosphere is also perfect. Also try the Saturday special menu!

Happily surprised by this relatively new BBQ place. I have been on several BBQ road trips, enjoying tasting many options. Locally we have had a hard time finding a good option. This place fits the bill. Brisket was juicy and flavorful with a nice smoke ring. Pulled pork was tasty. Ribs were a little soft, I like them with more bite, but they were still very good. Best thing I had was their beans - they were fabulous. So good I ended up getting take out to bring home. Staff is wonderful and friendly! I'll be back!

This place has some good bbq. I ordered the hot honey garlic wings and a three meat combo, ribs, brisket and turkey with Mac and cheese and cornbread. All meats were awesome, my favorite for brisket used to be Rollin smoke but this is my new favorite. And I love Dinosaur's smoked wings but these are better IMO. And I thought the Mac and cheese was pretty damn good. My new favorite bbq spot.

Fun option in the outdoor mall of Niskayuna. Clean place with optional comfortable seating inside. Ambiance was a little loud but they played fresh music. Food: we shared a brisket sandwich with pickled onions and got 2 sides of shelled Mac n cheese. Sandwich was yummy, just the right amount of meat, onions and kettle chips. The Mac and cheese was huge and delicious with the crumbs on top, excellent comfort food! There's a family portion $98.98 that multiple people can in and out "to go". Nice place, food was good.

I got the 3 meat combo with pulled pork, brisket, smoked turkey, cornbread, and Mac and cheese. It was served with a honey mustard sauce and BBQ sauce. Turkey tastes okay. It's juicy but lacks flavor. Brisket is okay. Pulled pork is the real star of the dish with flavor. Mac and cheese tastes great. Cornbread is okay not sure what the butter on top has in it. Came back For round 2 Got myself Ribs Pulled pork and chicken. Potato salad and baked beans. Ribs were nice and tender and my pulled pork and chicken were nicely sauces and tasty. I enjoyed the potato salad and baked beans as the beans had a nice kick to it

Ordered delivery. Overall good. If you like BBQ sauce with your meat I advise ordered some on the side. All the meat (brisket, ribs, pork belly, pulled pork) was cooked very well. Pulled pork was a bit dry in spots. Mac and cheese isn't my style, but my family likes it. Potato salad was good, tasted eggy which I liked Kimchi coleslaw was really good Cornbread was ok, could be a smidge moister and sweeter Wings (Korean sauce) were great!

I do not believe in giving low star reviews for places that that you can see invested money and there is care for what they do. But with all the hype to say I was extremely disappointed is an understatement. Maybe because it was a Saturday night and after 7. But what my experience at meat and company unfortunately left a sour taste . Especially with the 90$ price tag (11$ tip) wife and I ordered the bbq brisket Sando, a 2 meate platter with brisket and pulled pork; an order of the smoked garlic and parm wings and an order of Mac and cheese. Just really disappointed is all I can say. The sandwich and meat platter was sub par at best (in my opinion) the wings were decent but nothing to die for unfortunately, and the Mac and cheese was average. Was it just an off night? Idk but I can’t see myself visiting again unfortunately. Wish the owners and this place though a prosperous life.

I ordered takeout from Meat & Company and I have mixed reviews. I ordered the 3 meat platter with ribs, brisket, and pulled chicken. For my sides, I had potato salad and Mac and cheese, plus I ordered a side of cornbread. The ribs were decent, I like my ribs to have a little more bite to them, these are a bit on the soft side. The brisket was a little dry and didn't have much flavor. The pulled chicken was also a bit dry and very salty. I really enjoyed the Mac and cheese, the big shells were unusual, but very good. The potato salad was pretty bland, could've used more mayo and some seasoning. The cornbread was decent, had a nice texture, but I didn't taste much honey. It would be nice if some sauces were offered. I would definitely like to try one of the sandwiches, the pork belly, and the smoked chicken wings. Overall, my experience wasn't bad, I can see myself going back.
