My husband and I went.to whataburger, after our sons football game against jourdanton ( we live in Marion), we waited in a long.line to order a shake to be told, the shake machine wasn't.working. My.husband just ordered an ice tea because we couldn't get out of the long.line. A nice young man.came to our truck and told us that we didn't have to pay for the ice tea. When our tea was brought out, we also.received 2 warm.apple pies. Great and courtesy service❤. Well done👏

So far the best whataburger I've been to being a native texan. Mr. Willie and the entire staff was absolutely amazing, quick, polite, and helpful. Mr. Willie made my kids day and mine as well. This store needs more praise and recognition. For everything they do.

I was not a faithful customer of whataburger but after my experience at the whataburger in Pleasanton Texas, I am Now! This location was so clean and nice! Staff was very pleasant. The thing I really liked was that they actually brought your food to you! You didn’t have to hang around at the front counter and wait. Upon bringing me and my husband our food the server offered any condiments we might need. After we ate she came back and picked up our wrappers and tray! It was like eating in a real restaurant not a fast food chain!!! My hats off to whataburger for stepping it up and making it a nice experience in a fast food place! Any time I travel close to Pleasanton I will go to this location!!!!

Whataburger is one of the most reliable restaurants around. Drive-thru is often very busy, but Curbside wait is usually short. Orders are usually 100% correct. Staff is friendly and double checks if you need anything.

I stop at this place quite often. I must say today was an exceptional day. My garden salad was beaming over and large portion of crispy chicken. A little of ranch dressing made for an delicious meal...five stars!

It's Whataburger, so, you know, it was really tasty. For absolutely no reason, the white Sauce Guy, was racially profiling who he'd offer the new extra spicy ketchup to. It's not that spicy, you're not endangering your customers by informing them of their options lol.

I'm an overnight worker, the food in the middle of the night is perfect, fresh, nice and hot. But during the day, its always cold. I love whataburger, just don't like to order during the day.

My son and I go every Friday. The staff is so wonderful and even remebed my kiddos name. The food is always on point as well as the service. If I were you I'd eat here instead of the trash McDonald's that down the road. If I could give this whataburger 10 stars I would.

This Whataburger represents all that is good about the Texas countryside. Fresh taste, friendly atmosphere, and the food is hotter than summer in Texas! Patty melt meal is the go to! They're also pretty quick during lunch rush.

Visited Whataburger at 0300, and it is not unusual to find 4 cars in line at the drive-thru, but I was very surprised that the 1st car in line sat there for a full 10 minutes before their food was handed to them. Most other locations will ask for any car taking more than 3 minutes to move forward to allow the staff to clear the que, but not at this location. I placed my order via the Whataburger app and arrived at the exact pickup time, but even with the extended delay, my order was still not ready when I got to the window. I was given my order, and then I had to ask for my cup of coffee. That still took an additional 4-5 more minutes 😳... Overnight staff just looked unprepared....

Whoever greeted me at the drive thru, at 9:03 am,2/5/21, should get a raise. I haven't been spoken to politely like that in a while. Took 5 min to get my breakfast. Please go to Floresville and show em how its done.

You know there's a major difference from the city to a smaller town. This whataburger had the friendliest staff and an awesome server I forgot his name but this man was very kind and attentive. The food was good fries were HOT. I always get a triple with cheese and extra onion because onion are good for the ticker lol...ok...anyway definitely one of the better whataburgers.

I usually do not write reviews, however, this Whataburger genuinely is unique in its pleasant staff. Ironically, since “pleasant” is in the name of the town, the management and staff at this location are kind, professional, and genuinely seem to enjoy their job and coworkers. Being a native Texan and having been to literally Whataburger hundreds of times at dozens of locations, this store stood out dramatically. I write this review in the hopes that whoever works here knows their hard work and kind nature do not go unnoticed by the customers, and that management should be proud of the morale and cohesiveness they’ve cultivated. Highly recommend. Good job y’all.

Had breakfast here with my son and some friends early one morning before a hunt, food was delicious and fresh. Restaurant was overall clean and well kept. Had a trailer with me and there is trailer parking available, not sure if a semi would make it however. Over all great food

Best whataburger I've ever eaten at. Years ago, I would stop here religiously on my way home from wrk at 11pm. It was good then, but it's even better now and more efficient. Before I even sat down, my order was being placed on my table. Everything was hot, including the fries....fresh! I thought it may have bern sheer coincidence, but no, other couple minutes later, same thing. The gentleman told the employee he hadn't even made it to a seat!!!! Outstanding work!! This location should be the updated business model for the company!!!! Kudos 👏

I just pulled up at this location and noticed a worker taking out the trash. So I decided to take the trash out for her and give her a break. After I took the trash out I decided to come in and order my dinner. Upon ordering my dinner the manager of the store came out and paid for my meal. He said thank you for helping my employee. I told him no problem! more of this needs to be done. We are all one in this nation and need to help each other out. It’s amazing when people come together and help each other. So I hope that whoever is reading this and whoever sees this post can relate and pass it forward

03-7-25 10amish. Decided to dine instead of drive-thru. talk about getting spoiled with dine in. Ordered the #25 on jalapeno biscuit, biscuits n gravy entree with jalapeno and two plane jalapeno cheader biscuits. Not only were all the biscuits fresh but the biscuits were swimming up to the container edge with gravy and very generous helping of ground sausage topping. Kinda regret not having my Whataburger nickle coffee cup with me.

This place is well-loved if you live in Texas however in the state that I'm from I've never even heard of it the burgers are extremely huge even if you order a regular meal and the fries are too most of the time you have to eat half of the burger and then eat the other half later they're missing and they're good

Went through the drive thru! Person answering the speaker box was so nice and thorough. Was clear to understand and had great menu knowledge. Caden at the window was so nice and polite. I went and got a couple of Whataburgers. They were good not dry as they sometimes are. I also got a Dr. Pepper milkshake and it was ok, it needed to be mixed more. I think they get in a hurry and don't mix it enough because it is always that way. I also tried their banana pudding shake for the first time. It didn't really sound that good too me but I tried it anyway. It was surprisingly good and would suggest that if you like banana to give it a try.

Enjoyed my food just fine. DID NOT appreciate being called "sweetie" by a teenage girl behind the register. If it was a 70 year old woman, no problem. A 17 year old kid calling me that? I'm 42. No. However she seemed to be a good employee otherwise.

Place is always busy, but I haven't ever seen it dirty. It's your typical whataburger options. Staff was a little slow at the register, but could have been new since most places are hiring. Partons were patient and kind as well.

We saw Whataburger throughout our trip to Texas and decided before we were out of their franchise range, we’d have to give them a try. It was very good. Only reason for four stars on the food and not five stars is we requested no mustard and there was mustard. Otherwise it was all great. Huge sandwiches and their medium fry is bigger than any fast food competitors large fry. They were good tasting too.

Don't get me wrong..the food was great..only problem was that we were sitting at a table and people were at another table.apparently they got our order..I saw the lady digging into our food then they realized that they had our order..the person that delivered the food was coming to us with the food. Most of the time good food and good service. Be nice if the cashier and cooks actually paid attention. Every time I go in and ask for no onion, guess what's on my burger? And my fries are cold! When they get it right, it's delicious. When they don't, which is often, is awful

Ordered online to be delivered but they did not have a driver. They never let me know, said that they could access my info. Seems to me they should have had my email sense I had to enter it. When I called they food was ready but no diver. I cancelled order and drove to drive up and placed order. I realize now their app has limitations they need to fix.

I gotta say, throughout the 18 years I’ve lived in Texas, this is quite possibly the WORST Whataburger I’ve had. I will give some points on the atmosphere but that’s about it. Very clean and not to mention there was a lovely sunset on the horizon. But moving onto the food, my #2 was cold to the point where the cheese wasn’t even melted. It was as if the cookers grabbed a slice of cheese from the deep depths of the Antarctic Ocean, and the vegetables were okay at best. I was given the worst lettuce. THE HARD PART, and not to mention I was given some mediocre tomatoes. The only thing I can say is that the fries were pretty damn good, they were actually hot! Unlike the patties and cheese I was given on my #2. With that the most stars I can give this Whataburger is a 3 out of 5. The only cool thing I can say about this place is that they still have the 2006 - 2007 Sprite logo on their self serve soda fountain. With that i conclude my review of Whataburger Store #872. You may think I went overboard with this extensive review on this place but I wholeheartedly think that the people should decide on going here or not. Thank you for your time.

I had placed an online order to be picked up through the drive through, unbeknownst to me, it was graduation night. Monica took my order through drive thru and seemed less than excited to help me out. She seemed irritated that I had arrived later than expected and sounded like she had an attitude because of the volume of customers. Honestly, as someone who has worked for this same location in previous years before, I’d offer some sort of relief for the customers that had been waiting. She just seemed bothered that her location was busy. Every other employee I’ve encountered has been courteous and nice while in the midst of a rush, but Monica just seemed upset. My food was fine, the customer service wasn’t great. I felt like a bother to this employee. Honestly, Whataburger, do better. Teach your employees to be mindful of customers.

Still asking me to update my comments..... nothings changed even on slow days or nights. You can give them a 20min head start and still wait another 10+min on an online order. Just went thru the drive thru and sat bc i had the time 15min and no reply from the inside ....... No need in ordering online. Takes just as long to get there and order rather than order thru app and get there just to wait.

This is all I am going to say, if you go here go in the morning shift. The food is atleast warm for the breakfast crew. Everytime I have gone in the evenings to the drive thru its like wth why is my food cold, fries are not even hot. This happen to me 3 times so now we go get our burgers from another place. They need to hire some runners to take the food to the cars or something. This has only been my experience since they were bought out by the corporation and that makes me very sad.

Unfortunately, the fries we ordered were the wrong size and old. My burger was not good either. They forgot to give us our shakes and we had to remind them of our order. As we so rarely get to eat out, this was a disappointment. We were already on the road by the time we noticed the fries, so we didn't get a chance to remedy the issue. Maybe it was just a bad day for the crew, but it was definitely a bad experience for us.

Tried to order inside. Poor service. My wife really wanted a burger so drove thru drive thru to take home. Service not great either. DQ is my future I guess. Like most places these days under staffed and over priced. Employees were trying to do well but not trained well.

I've always liked waterburger. Been eating waterburger for a very long time. But the one in Pleasanton is bad about serving food that is cold and dried out instead of cooking fresh hamburgers and fries. Sorry. But I'm working out of town. Been eating at waterburger for at least 25 years. Spending several thousand dollars. But just got served another cold hamburger. 2 nights in a row. Sorry for complaining. But they might need to get rid of management

One star only because to review a star rating must be made. This is the worst whataburger in the entire state of Texas. 6 am we are only customers and they are blaring music. ONLY CUSTOMERS still take 20 minutes to get an order that got thrown back at them. HORRIBLE!!!!!

I would steer clear of this specific location if I were you. Rude service— on our visit we ordered through the drive in on our way back to SA and then decided to go ahead on stop in because my two month old needed a diaper change. To which then our cashier Raylee B went on to loudly say to her coworkers, on break, and within earshot of about 10 other patrons, “ what’s the point of ordering through the drive through if you’re just going to come in? “ save yourself the unnecessary comments and condescending attitude and skip this one besties ❤️

So I normally love this Whataburger, and I hate leaving bad reviews. Especially when one of our close friends works at this location. We came in as a party of four with separate orders. One of our guys asks for just cheese, bacon, mayo. He gets everything but. So he goes up to get it fixed, asks for the milkshake they forgot in the process. Not a big deal. They take the first one, and someone shouts back for a #1. Thirty minutes later, our conflict avoiding friend finally decided he's waited long enough. Talks to a manager who admits they forgot. A less picky friend also had his order screwed up, but ate anyway wanting to just forgive and forget. I'd let it go if it weren't for the first guy's issues. By the time everything was fixed, we just opted to take the new burger home. I'm sorry, Tim! I'm so sorry...

I went to buy a biscuit and gravy and went I went back to my hotel they didn't put the biscuit so I called and the manager told me to go and get another one. So I went the next morning and went I get to my hotel, thinking that I was going to eat after working all night, for my surprise there was no biscuit again just the gravy and I called and the manager told me he personally had made my order. If he did he messed up again and did not put the biscuit again. I called and he told me to go back and it was my last night at Pleasanton, TX and couldn't go back. Please check your order before living. Really bad experience in this Whataburger

I'm not sure what's going on at this place but our food was horrible. My husband got the triple burger with bacon and I got a chicken sandwich and they were both so dry we couldn't finish them.. I know everywhere is hurting for help right now, and I'm sorry for giving such a horrible review, but the food was almost unedible. The fries were not cooked all the way either.

Definitely not the same restaurant from 2020. Since they were sold to a Chicago based company it has gone down hill fast. This location is no different. Waited a while for my food inside the restaurant, go up and ask where my food is? I’m one of 3 customers inside the restaurant. So a young lady asks how can I help you I explain to her what the problem is. She turns around and bam my food is sitting right there . 4 other people working around my food , I ask a simple question. How long has my food been sitting there? The response I was given was (I dunno I just got here) I hear that from a lot of young people today. Whataburger used to be a place where the employees took pride in their work and the customers. They stood apart from McDonald’s and burger king. Not anymore . Oh almost forgot to mention while your sitting their trying to figure out what is going on with your order their are whataburger employees sitting in a corner of the restaurant laughing and joking around . It’s almost as if they think their at home with their friends, not at a business establishment.

This place is usually a five star but today the service was not there. I ordered onion rings and wanted some ranch dipping sauce and they were all out. They gave French fries instead of the onion rings and when they did bring me the onions rings they were burnt. I spent 30 minutes before they got my order right.

I just went through the drive thru and literally staying less than a minute away. My burger was completely cold , bun was hard and the fries were also cold and hard. I don’t normally post reviews or complain but this was bad all around.

Waited in the drive through for about 15 mins (I get it, it’s busy), lady was polite at the window and then I get my meal. My meal was the jalapeño hamburger combo (#4) and a brownie, and the only edible thing WAS the brownie. The hamburger AND fries were not warm, but COLD. The meat tasted reheated and the fries were soggy and wilted. I spent $14 and was only able to eat the brownie and drink, which isn’t fair at all, especially in an economy like today where people are struggling. For a few more dollars, you can go to a sit down restaurant, have chips and salsa, full meal, and a drink with a refill, but instead I go and get completely ripped off. What sucks is I didn’t have the time to go back in, because I waited so damn long to get trash food. I CHOSE YOUR dining facility out of everything there, and that’s what I get. I won’t be going back, but y’all don’t care, I’m just trying to warn other people and save them money and time.

Went there on 10/9 ordered hot cakes, a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit sandwich and a order off French fries. When I received my order I asked for bar-b-que sauce for the fries, I was told that they started charging 39 cents for it so I decided to get ketchup instead. When we got to our destination they had forgotten to put the syrup for the hot cakes not only that but you end up paying almost $5 dollars for a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit sandwich. Next thing we know we'll have to pay for utensils or just to sit down inside to eat. Well there's another fast food restaurant I won't be going to anymore.

So the lack of the ability to read is one thing…but to call a Cobb salad a “Cobb salad” with 6 pieces of chicken and poorly put together is just annoying. I pay a lot of money weekly to every 2 weeks here for my family of four. Specifically through the app to avoid dealing with too many people…so someone explain to me how that despite what the receipt always says..half the order is always missing and my salad this time looks like the cook ate it than put the left overs in the bag? Drove all the way home to see that I had to drive all the way back to demand the rest of my order. Will NOT be back at this specific location until some training takes place..get it together.

Kids think work is a joke, girl with pink hair running around screaming at the top of her lungs, and management was just standing there doing nothing. Bad, bad, bad. Never will go there for dinner again. There is no reason for my meal that cost me 50.00 to be cold. I paid for it so I would expect it to be hot, I wasn't given the food.

After waiting in line for 40 minutes for our food we get home to cold sloppy burgers just thrown in the wrapper this is the worst whataburger I have been too no apologies for the wait or anything like it’s normal to be in a fast food line for almost an hour

Tables were dirty when we arrived. Chascity M was out cashier. When she brought our food, half of our order was missing. I asked if we can get the rest of our order. She just turned around and went back to get it. Ok no big deal. When she brought it back tho, she slammed and threw the tray across the table. Didn’t off ketchup or napkins or anything. When my husband asked for ketchup, she brought and threw it across the table. If you can’t deal with people, especially when you mess up an order, then GET OUT of a job that requires you to deal with people. And don’t be so damn rude and throw food across the table at them! Will be contacting the general manager because this was absolutely ridiculous!

The reason for the 1 star is because of roaches. Nothing to do with service or employees or cooks. Just the roaches, when you go to get a lid for your drink and the roaches trying to hitch a ride on your lid...... NOPE NOPE NOPE.

everytime i tell the same lady During breakfast hours at 7 a.m that i want to redeem an item from my points rewards she never redeems it when she scans nor is it giving me points. its always the same lady. what's the point of having rewards if i can't use them because the cashier won't do it correctly. thanks.

6/26/25. I asked for BLT. The lady said they don’t offer BLT. If you look on the app and online; YES it is available to order. Incompetence. I wish they know the menu and not act like they know. And it was an older lady. 2020: Went in for lunch. Ordered the combo. When they brought me my food. It was only the hamburger. The slip of paper that had my order was even taped to the tray. I mentioned about the fries and they couldn’t believe it. Food was good but bad service.

The manager on the shift today, July 12,2022 at 2:00pm, was extremely rude to customers & employees!!!! While waiting in line listening to her speak down to an elderly lady trying to pay for her meal with exact change, because they didn’t have any coins in the register, I walked around the dining room area. Right before my husband ordered I told him there were 4 tables waiting for food in case he wanted to go elsewhere. At that moment the Mgr yelled right in our face “CAN SOMEONE GET THESE TABLES OUT FRONT CLEANED THE CUSTOMERS ARE COMPLAINING!!!” I tried to correct her but she blatantly ignored me. The a/c isn’t working inside the restaurant and the sweet lady doing excellent at cleaning tables and running curbside, and getting yelled at for no reason, was about to pass out from the heat. A male employee got her some water and had her sit while he helped her. The employees teamwork and efficiency was amazing; although it didn’t look like it had anything to do with good management. She had yelled at the other employees and was running the register while we sat and ate and watched all the dining room’s going’s-ons. 😳 We watched 2 people leave because no one was behind the register and finally some man asked “Is anyone running the front? We’d like to order!!” I understand poor service happens here and there, but treating employees and customers the way we saw today is absolutely NOT necessary and a horrible representation for any company or business. Taking employee safety into consideration should always be at the top of the list too!!!!

Updated review: (1st review 2017)(2nd review 2023) (2023 review) The quality of customer service has finally hit rock bottom. I ordered the same combo meal that I've ordered for the past 30 years & the cashier just didn't seem to understand what I was ordering. I stated my order 3 times as the cashier kept asking me what I wanted. When I asked for a different attendant, one was prompt to step in, but now 3 workers different workers were were questioning why I was even there. It's not rocket science, & really sad to see that the true family friendly that existed in the past is gone. As I walked away the manager followed me while spearing insults at me. (2017 review)The sale of the Texas franchise to the non-Texas corporation has brought about changes that are focused on the profit margin. I don't mind paying extra for quality food, but serving portions is sized down to resemble child portions at McDonald's. When I brought the issue to the manager's attention, I was bluntly informed that the new GM was focused on profit margin by minimizing the food portions! So sad 😞 😥 😞 😥

I just left this place and checked out the fast food service. I mean the service is friendly but very inexperienced and you must check your food or they will forget items within a minute of ordering. They and by they I do mean whoever bags the food will not put any ketchup or straws or salt or pepper or paid items just like I didn't put comma's in this sentence. I will credit them for the one napkin they put in. Moral to the story good food, friendly, but horrible service.

Food was cold, you have to be super talented to serve toast cold 😑. No time to complain because I was on my lunch break but as busy and popular as it gets you would think they would have more pride in how they hand out the food.

Date: 11/08/2025 Time: 11:02 am Order: 588981 For the last couple of years, have purposely stayed away from Whataburger down in the Corpus Christi area due to food quality and customer service. Today, on a trip back home from Uvalde to the Corpus Christi area, for lack of an actual fast-food restaurant besides McDonalds, we unfortunately made the quick decision to stop at this Whataburger and ordered via the drive thru. We ordered 1 Number 1 with cheese, no tomatoes, extra veggies with mustard and mayo. What we got was a Number 1 with Tomatoes. The mustard was only at the bottom of the sandwich. The sandwich was warm at best and the french fries were much worse as to temperature for 11:02 am. We (my wife) also ordered 1 Number 1 with cheese, ketchup and pickles only. We made the order, and she repeated it two more times as the young lady was apparently bound and determined to have mayo put on it. Apparently, she may have got confused with Mayo and Ketchup, or maybe it was their similar colors? Well, when my wife got her burger, it had Mayo and Pickles. No Ketchup and Pickles only. Again Maybe "MAYO" AND "KETCHUP" sound the same even after stating it 3 times? She also requested hot/crispy french fries. The French Fries were literally barely warm, more than likely because they were pre-cooked and set under a warming light. it's understandable that everyone makes mistakes, I get that but sometimes you have to stop and ask, what is going on! Mayo for Ketchup, No Tomatoes for Tomatoes. Warm as opposed to hot. Made YOUR way! They need to try and make it MY way, not theirs. They either don't know how to do their job or really don't care. I think it may be a little bit of both. This is the very reason after spending over $21.00 bucks and get the poor food quality/preparation that is why we swore off Whataburger. Probably should have got a taco at the local gas station. I don't know about anyone else, but $21.00 dollars is $21.00 dollars. I earned my money and worked hard for it. I want the same in return, $21.00 dollars' worth of food as it was ordered. Poor Form Whataburger! Literacy, basic understanding of how to do a job is necessary even with taking orders/preparing food for customers. Secondly, Hey management. Try "Pay for Performance" . Us older people had to do that, or we had to look for work elsewhere. Oh well, shame on us, as we stayed away from Whataburger based on this. We very well should have stayed away from this location for sure. An experience at MacDonalds would have been a lot better. Do what you want, we however are done with Whataburger.

Service is so slow at this location it took 35 minutes in the drive thru line from ordering to receiving my food. Plus fries were cold. I really want to go to the UPS store just to make a sign and it would say The Slowest Whataburger in South Texas.

This is by far one of the worst Whataburgers I have the displeasure to visit. They constantly get orders wrong, or don’t provide requested sauces. One time they even forgot the patty to my burger. Today was the worst. Placed a curbside order, said it would be ready by 5:14. Wasn’t brought out to me till about 5:25, and it was missing both fries to the meals and a kids cookie! Mind you I had a screaming hungry toddler. So I had to run in and hurriedly get my missing items. When I get home, I realize they forgot the bacon on my BACON WRANGLER DOUBLE. Enough said.

I get really disappointed when I place a order and assume it is correct as it’s easy to read a screen on what the order intels and I don’t notice until I leave instead of a plain burger like I ordered. I get one with mustard. Atleast they put the extra ketchup I asked for so I can try and cover up the taste of mustard

Placed my order which was $17 and change. Went to hand the cashier three 20s and I asked for specific change. Was told "we don't give change".... I needed some ones and fives. Crazy how poor customer service has gotten. No effort. Guess customer "26" won't be back. Editing review: Upon seeing my order after I left as I chose to not dine in, the cashier did NOT put my order in correctly and I never received my whole order. I should have checked. Although I wasn't charged for the additional item, I did in fact order it. Incompetence and poor customer service definitely go hand in hand Editing again to say I went to In N Out the other day and the debate between these two is OVER! Actual customer service!!! Did tastes good AND the order was correct!

My order was wrong multiple times and the shakes and malt are very watery. I asked for a chocolate malt and got a vanilla shake 😕. I asked for cheese on my burger and there wasn't cheese. This places keeps forgetting my shakes when I order :( Don't know if I wanna order here if they keep forgetting parts of my order 🙁

The outside lane was open but didn't work so they just skip you. I was there to pick up an order submitted online and already paid for. I had to drive around to get in line again and instead of having me go to the outside lane and bring me the food they made me wait in the line with everyone else who had to still pay. They didn't shut down the line with the speaker not working and I could hear the.. Tell people they couldn't hear them. I won't be back.
