Super fun Florida spot with a great food menu filled with unique twists on classics. The staff was attentive and involved. It was nice to sit outside and enjoy the evenings and watch a few customers appear on boats

Wow! This place was great! The service was incredible! Our waitress was fantastic and gave us so many great recommendations. We tried all the hits, fried conch, lamb chops, fish tacos, blackened dolphin Reuben, lobster roll, and the macadamia grouper sandwich. All were fantastic but I felt the real stand out were the fish tacos, Sitting outside by the dock enjoying some great food provided the perfect ambiance for lunch, I would recommend this place and come back.

5 stars all around. Our service was amazing and the food was great. My wife and I split the grouper sandwich and it was great!

I love to travel, eat in restaurants and leave reviews. Fortunately, this one I give 5 stars. I guess we got lucky because I see some of the other reviews. We did arrive by boat. There was plenty of space. We ate inside because it was hot outside. Service was great. I had the fish and chips that was delicious. The french fries were crispy and not greasy & the fish was a small portion but enough. I had a friend who had the shrimp with the rice and kelp. Also, that was very good. Another one had a mahi mahi with the pasta. She shared the pasta with me, which was good. Maybe we all got lucky, but there was 6 of us who enjoyed our lunch. I would definitely recommend and definitely would go back. Thank you. We had a great time.

Cute little spot on the water with amazing food and a nice view! We enjoyed a nice lunch here on the outdoor patio.

Can’t say anything bad about this place! It’s a very nice atmosphere with a big outdoor deck for outdoor dining with heat lamps and an outdoor bar as well overlooking some small body of water. The staff is very friendly and the food is good and it’s very fair pricing, so what’s not to like! If you’re in the area, check it out. They have a big menu with a lot of options. They also have self & valet parking.

Great seafood selection and smaller plate options for lunch. We really enjoyed how the fried fish was lightly fried.

This place is amazing and family-friendly. I got the Grilled Chicken and Mac and Cheese. This came with a side salad of your choice, whether Cesaer or House, along with a piece of bread. This Mac and Cheese was SO GOOD that I just had to take the rest home with me. The chicken was also very good. I am not a grilled chicken person and I loved this one. The service was very nice and quick. The atmosphere was also great. As a boat family, they have a dock where you can just pull up to the outside and either get seated or sit at the tiki bar. I would recommend Frigate's to anyone.

Beautiful place to sit outside and watch the boats go by. Food was amazing we had the macadamia coconut crusted grouper sandwich! So good. Our waitress was awesome! Super helpful and very polite. Would recommend this place if you are undecided.

Jessica took excellent care of us during our Friday lunch visit, she was very joyful and attentive. We had delicious oysters and wonderfully seasoned lamb lollipops along with a great wedge salad. Unfortunately we did get a really bad attitude from the hostess, but I’m not going to give the restaurant a bad review based on the hostess having a bad day.

Don’t remember the name of our server but overall the whole service was very attentive. We were brought to a secluded table with enough room for my crazy child to not even have to be in a high chair, overlooking the water. Even offered us extra bread because he munched it down so fast. The food was delicious. I had the half pound shrimp boil with old bay and mannn was it seasoned so good. To find out that they’re also same owners of the funky pelican in Flagler was the cherry on top because we also love that place. Overall 10/10. My whole family enjoyed every bit of the place

My husband and I are on vacation and came here for dinner. We got the lobster Mac and cheese, the snapper and a filet. The food was fresh and really good, I loved being right on the water and our server, Connie, was great. She was attentive and helpful the whole time. Will definitely be telling my friends to come here on their vacations and will come back on another one of ours.

What a great spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The vibe is super relaxed, classic Florida vibes, waterfront seating and the bar is awesome! Lots of TV's, the staff has always been incredibly friendly and welcoming. Go by yourself or with friends/family. The selection of food is insane! Bottomless mimosas, check, buffet, check, beautiful space to relax and unwind, CHECK! Do yourself a favor and go here. It's always a great experience!

Warm & inviting staff! We took some out of town family here for dinner and couldn’t be more thrilled with our choice. The menu has something for everyone- we ordered a sushi roll, grilled mahi, mahi tacos, and the jambalaya. Drinks were also served promptly. We left another restaurant to come here instead, and left very happy.

I have been coming to Frigates’s since I moved to the North Palm Beach area and every single time I have received excellent service, food and atmosphere. I just ate there this past Sunday and as soon as I entered I was greeted not only by a lovely hostess but Jeremiah, the General Manager. I would never have thought that he would remembered me and at first I barely remembered him. He knew my name, what entree I would be ordering and immediately told us to pick any appetizer on the menu to order, on the house. After he came to our table to check in on us I happened to recall the time that I came in at a later hour one night and the kitchen was closing but he still made sure that were able to be served. Overall, just such an incredible dining experience every time! Also, our Hostess Rylee was so kind and polite. You could just tell that every worker in that establishment enjoys their job and take great pride in what they do.

The atmosphere is perfect—beautiful waterfront views, great vibes, and exactly the kind of place you want to relax and enjoy the moment. A huge shoutout to Victoria, our server. She was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Her timing, recommendations, and attitude made the whole experience feel special. Great food, great drinks, and service that goes above and beyond. Definitely a must-visit, and I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

Excellent service and good fish entrees! The macadamia nut crusted snapper with risotto was fabulous! The smoked fish dip was okay but we make this at home and it's hard to beat. Darlene was a great server-thanks!

However, the service was noticeably slow, which took away from the overall experience. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you’re heading there during a busy evening. First time visiting this establishment. We had a big group so lots of requests for the wait staff to balance. Our waitress did a great job taking care of the group. I had the fish and chips, very tasty. The fish portion for the money was small. Drinks were good, they were a little on the pricy side but not bad. Decent atmosphere, I would say a nice find overall.

It’s not a solid 4 stars, but the services and deco made up for it. HH drinks were ok, limited beer selection, house wine and well cocktails only. The bar bites were good. $8 cheeseburgers , chicken wings, and pork tacos were good. The nachos was ok. HH drinks 3-6:30 and bar bites 4-6 during the week. Met #Mo&Sally, WPB radio personalities. They are very nice & down to earth. The crew behind the bar are super cool, specially Neil at the outdoor bar. It also helps that they are on the water. Will definitely come back and check them out.

We were hoping for more of the water view table other than outdoor which were not available because they were reserved and only for two people. Food was good. however the condensation from the ceiling ac was dripping into our food. Service was friendly.

Had lunch at Frigate’s on their outdoor patio on the water and it was a great spot. The service was great, kind, and quick. The homemade guacamole appetizer was flavorful! For entree, I had the blackened shrimp panini which I really enjoyed as well. The panini seemed small at first but it was packed with food inside so it was perfect.

Solid dining experience here - I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was open, colorful and the outdoor seating area is incredible! The coconut shrimp was tasty - BIG shrimp with a delightful flavor profile. I was equally impressed by the jambalaya... not s spicy as I would have liked, but it was hearty and flavorful. The Fish tacos were packed, yummy, and the accompanying fries were crispy and perfect. The crew was attentive and there weren't any complaints. I'd recommend.

I came in here after my nail appointment to try something new and seen/heard of Frigate’s. I started with the Calamari which was good then my entree was a Macadamia Snapper with Risotto and green beans. The snapper didn’t have much of a good flavor that drew me in and my risotto was more like a rice pudding. Risotto is tough to make so I get maybe I had a not so great batch. My mom had the spicy Mediterranean Bowl which was pretty good. The key lime pie was so bitter with lemon juice or puree used. As for my sever, she was kind, attentive and informative. The view was good but there is construction going on so that can be a bit of a view killer. Overall, a good dinning experience.

Stopped in to grab a salad and some drinks, our waitress was nice but not very attentive. we found ourselves having to wave her down for anything we needed. It was a little chilly in the shade and I moved my chair slightly into to the sun while we waited for our drinks only to be told by a male waiter that he was seating someone “here” but I was not in the way or in any obstruction of view or walk way. Food was bland, vibe was boring. Go somewhere else if you want food and a view :) this was disappointing.

First time visit and not so impressed with both the service and ambience. Ordered an appetizer for the table and received no napkins nor utensils for a long time until we could finally get someone's attention. Server finally showed back up and took our order.....food came and we were half through eating before she showed again, by then 2 of us had been out of drinks for probably 10 minutes. I don't like to post bad about servers as I don't know how much they are responsible for, but this was obviously either understaffing or train issue. I ordered the macadamia grouper sandwich that tasted great, mango chutney was awesome....the fries were crispy outside and very good as well. My wife had the spicy tuna bowl that was very good as well, both with large portions. We were seated at the lower outside bar, where the locals reside and can be quite noisy. I would go back as the food was good and reasonably priced for the area and being on the water.... hoping for better service and quieter.

I visited this spot recently and was immediately impressed by the stunning views—perfect for a relaxing meal. We kicked things off with some delicious beers and conch fritters, which were absolutely excellent, crispy, and full of flavor. The wings were another highlight, super meaty and cooked just right. I was really excited to try the wahoo sandwich, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. The filet was so tough I could barely bite into it. It wasn’t just my dish either; others at my table had similar issues with their fish. The disappointment with the main course brought the experience down, so I’m giving this place 3 stars. Great start, but the main dishes definitely need improvement.

I've eaten here in the past, many many moons ago but revisited again this past weekend. I remember in the past I didn't like the food but since it's been years since I last visited I thought I would give it another try. I'm sad to say the food hasn't gotten any better since my last visit. We ordered some drinks and appetizers which are moderately priced considering the location of the restaurant. Drinks were just okay but the food itself was absolutely atrocious. We didn't eat most of it and took the rest of it home for my friend's dogs. The presentation was obviously nice but the taste wasn't there. I probably wouldn't come here for the food but would definitely come back for the drinks and view.

It's nice looking but that's what he ends. The food is par, at best. No frills and pretty costly. The service is very very slow and it seems they give favor to the boats docked. Not worth the money in my opinion. You are paying to look at a dirty canal and Federal highway. They really need to step up their food. I love seafood and it all tastes previously frozen.

Brussel sprout appetizer was fantastic, shrimp panini was great, mahi rubin was rather bland on the other hand. Service was lacking unfortunately. Kaitlyn seemed pretty eager to get us out of there and they weren't busy at all when we arrived at noon. And while I understand your chest probably gets you great tips, have a little dignity. Construction on the bridge ruins the view of the water.

Service was just OK. Nothing great or horrible. Main entrees were interesting but a little bland. Appetizers were good. Atmosphere was above average. Seated outside in January in South Florida on the water is hard to beat. Just wish the food was seasoned better and the staff had some personality.

So very disappointed with Frigates tonight. We have spent many years as loyal customers and dine and drink there frequently. We called in advance to confirm that the National Championship Miami Hurricanes vs Indiana State game would be played there in the bar. So I brought my group of 6 there for dinner, and drinks then we moved to the bar area to watch the game. Just at half time the bar staff told us we have to leave because they are closing??????????? They said we close at 10 on Mondays???? Even though this was not a typical Monday with our local team playing!! I pleaded with Zack to let us stay and finish the game but he seemed to have plans elsewhere and told me he is cheering for any team except the Miami Hurricanes!! I pleaded with him and said our tab was already at $480.00 and does that mean anything as the decision maker, but he said too bad, " it's very expensive to have me here" I asked him if the owner was here right now, what do you think he would do!?? He said he's not here so it doesn't matter. " Robots that can't identify potential business!!!!" We ended up leaving and drove 10 minutes to castaways. They were so busy but heard our story about frigates and gave us VIP seats and amazing Hospitality!!! Our bill there was $700.00 Moral of the story,,,,, me or any of my staff or clients will ever go back to Frigates!!! If the owner reads this, time to teach staff how to think outside the box and identify potential!!! Not sure why anybody would ever go to frigates to watch a game ??? Castaways is way better!!!

The food here is offensive. There is no effort or culinary skill whatsoever. This is after eating here twice - so we’re really sure. Both salads had the end of the stem/brown dry stump part of the romaine. Watery dressing, just big cuts of avocado and tomato. So bad. Their “award winning grouper sandwich” is crusted and deep fried - so greasy. The sushi comes out on cheap plastic dishes with the wasabi and soy in disposable plastic cups. The glassware is blue plastic crap that looks like it’s from a lunch room. We’re not sure what kind of people like this food. Probably the same kind that think Olive Garden is delicious Italian food. Great location though - if they did a kitchen rehab this could be such a cool spot. But for now it’s cheap, poor quality food with a nice atmosphere.

ate lunch at Frigate's today and boy what a rip off. i had a dolphin sandwich, there is more fish in a small tin of tuna than on the sandwich. a small blob of cheese and some cole slaw. the other two people with me were also disappointed. fish tacos, no fish, no flavor. two of us had ice tea 3.75 per 8oz cup with no ice. i've given this place a couple chances, never will i eat here again. 100.00 for lunch

I had came out here with a work event and had a good time outside water front. So i decided to come back for my wife’s birthday. What a mistake 😔.. i should of cancelled my reservation when i seen the construction outside. Anyways i ordered a ny strip steak ($55 a plate) and mashed potatoes done. My wife said i would like the same but with a lobster tail add on!… We received two plates with steak and lobster 🦞! Wouldn’t of been a problem if i wasn’t allergic to shellfish! My waitress ( tanya) had made a mistake and totally ruined my wife’s b-day dinner! 1) because if i rejected the plate completely, she would have to eat by herself ( not a good experience) 2) if she waits for me to get another plate when i get my food hers would have been cold( not a good experience) 3) reject both plates was not necessary for he plate was correct to her order 4) instead of being discreet about it she makes it big deal. ( not a good experience) take accountability, the cook prepared the dish to the order you submitted, like why would you assume i wanted the tail too! 5) the manager comes by and asked what do i want to do? Like get order right the first time ! So, i tell him i didn’t order it not to charge me the lobster tail and to take it back! So he tells me he can’t put the genie back in the bottle so to keep it! And slides it towards my wife. So I decided to eat what i ordered , (with a epi pen in the car just incase ) considering the point was to eat together for her b-day dinner! The bill comes $180 with the lobster tail removed! Thanks for ruining our experience

We were extremely disappointed with our experience at Frigate’s Waterfront. The tomahawk steak for two was badly overcooked and clearly not the advertised 32 oz. For a dish at this price point, accuracy and execution should be a given. The calamari was so over-fried and crunchy that it was borderline dangerous to eat—I honestly felt like I could crack a tooth. The lobster bisque was the only bright spot of the evening and genuinely very good. The drinks were unacceptable. They were so overwhelmingly sweet that we had to send them back because they were undrinkable—far beyond what anyone would reasonably expect, especially for craft cocktails. To make matters worse, we were refused seating at a waterside table because we were a party of two instead of four. Despite this, those tables remained empty the entire time, and it was a very slow night. This felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Overall, this restaurant does not live up to its pricing, reputation, or location. Between the food quality, drink issues, and inflexible seating policy, we will not be returning.

The first order of conch was cold. Sent it back. They said that they cooked another batch. The second serving was too hard and mostly bites. The bites had the appearance of tiny popcorn shrimp and fried bread batter chips. So don't expect the dish photo posted on the restaurant website. There was no hit of flavor besides the cocktail sauce and mayo prepared sauce. The price was $21.30, which is beyond me. I will not order that dish again from that location.
