The Islander Grill & Tiki Bar

We absolutely love this spot! Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food is always fantastic. The atmosphere is tropical and laid-back, with live music every evening adding to the charm. The prices are very fair, too. On our last visit, we brought in our fresh catch from fishing, and it was cooked to perfection. We can’t wait to return!

Exceeded expectations. Great food and service. There was live music and a dance floor. Guests were having a great time. We ended up staying almost 2.5 hours. Our waiter sang one song and impressed. Valet parking. Outdoor seating. Private beach access. Reasonable prices.

We had breakfast, lunch,and dinner. Prices vary depending on what you get. The surf and turf was excellent. The filet was cooked to order,perfect temperature. The lobster was buttery delicious.

We were staying at the resort and decided to have an evening snack of french fries. Once I took a look at the menu, we decided to have pizza instead. I’ve had some great pizza and I am a little leery deviating from our normal places. As there are some great spots around the area for pizza. We tried to get a half-and-half pizza, half Bianca, and half islander but it was too challenging for the cook. The decision was made to stick with the islander. My wife was waiting in the room and I returned with the pizza all in good time. The pizza did not disappoint. It was delicious. I ordered the large and was surprised that it came in at $16. It was well worth the money.

The Islander Grill and Tiki Bar was great. The food was delicious. Dinner begins with rolls and they are a great way to start. We had the Twin Lobster Tails and Surf and Turf. Both entrées were prepared as we requested and were delicious. It was also recommended that we try the meatballs which we did and they were scrumptious! The atmosphere is great and live music every night, makes the vibe very fun. Full Menu as of 05/18/24.

Great food and friendly helpful staff. Live music every night. This Elvis was incredible. We had the prime rib and grilled Salmon. Came back a few months later and had another incredible dinner. The food here is incredible and very well done. Love this place.

Went in with a group of 13. They were able to seat us out on the deck. Our server, Shadow, did an amazing job. The prime was delicious- everyone else enjoyed their meals.

We love the Islander Grill and Tiki Bar. Good food and good drinks! I had the pan seared Salmon, my mother had the Nachos and it’s enough for two at least! My husband had the Coconut Shrimp. We were all very happy. We also enjoyed a couple rounds of the all American drink. Vivian was wonderful and she attended all our dining needs. We enjoying dinning outside.

Cleo S was our server and she did a fantastic job!!! She was so kind and attentive. The chips and salsa were amazing!! The NY style pizza was also really good- and this is coming from a former New Yorker! The key lime pie was just a slice of Heaven. Atmosphere was great and there was even a live band!

Best Pizza, best drinks and Larry makes sure everything keeps the best standards with his amazing management. Thank you for everything.

Food was okay…but let me just say, service at tiki bar was undeniably top notch! Gina is amazing! Incredibly friendly and attentive! Made us feel welcome and had wonderful drink suggestions! Service was above and beyond, helped create a fun relaxed atmosphere!!

We had a large party for a wedding renewal. They set a table with a white cloth right in front of the stage. The service was great! Wonderful food and tiki drinks that came quickly. The live band was amazing. They played a lot of different genres and actively involved the guests which really enhanced the experience. All in all an amazing time and I would highly recommend!

We just celebrated my sister’s 50th birthday at the Islander Grill & Tiki Bar. Niko, Mel and their entire crew made this day memorable starting with planning weeks ahead. They suggested great dj, an amazing menu, and had the place already setup for the party hours before it started. Our guests complimented on the fresh delicious food, beautiful presentation of the banquet, excellent service, beautiful venue and the fabulous atmosphere. The Islander Groll & Tiki Bar is the place to start planning all my stress free parties! This venue is situated on the beach and that makes it a plus choice for us!! Thanks a million for your attentive service and professionalism!

Had a large group dinner here. Was a friendly, casual, and nice place. Food and specials were good. Even had Elvis impersonator Matt Stone

The restaurant and Tiki Bar is located on the Inside of the hotel beside the pool area. There was a live musician and a decent size dance floor we had a great time dancing and listening to the music.

It’s was a good experience, For a long time I have not seen so welcoming and friendly staff, all smiling and genuinely happy to see in the institution ! The food is delicious, everything was quickly transferred ! From the minuses it is uncomfortable chairs on the street

THE best Buffalo wings I’ve ever had outside of Buffalo! They were crispy everyone, like they should be. The filet mignon was also excellent and quite reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Had wonderful meals! Food was excellent and friendly service. Had the shrimp scampi, coconut encrusted grouper, and prime rib dinner. Enjoyed the entertainment too. ,

Love coming here. We came for some margaritas and atmosphere. Cydney and Josh are a delight and good fun. Josh had us cracking up and Cydney is a sweetheart. Thanks for a memorable experience.

I know it says it's in a hotel and has a big menu... BUT the entire family ate here, and we were all happy and pleasantly surprised with what we each got, appetizers and drinks included. Coconut Crusted Grouper special was a stand out. The pizza dough rolls were a surprise, and we even grabbed a small pizza later in the week that also fared well.

The food was all delicious and I was surprised that the pizza was better then expected (even though we bought it for the kid) and our server Leon was as more then amazing, explained the menu perfectly and accommodated us amazingly.

Great food, service, and value. Located in the Palm Beach Shores Vacation Village and Resort, the Islander Grill is an excellent indoor/outdoor (by the pool) restaurant with exceptional seafood and other offerings (I love the sea bass, and if you go at the right time, you can get fresh Maine lobster that is flown in!). On the other hand, if you just want a great burger or sandwich (or breakfast!), excellent offerings are available, including eggs Benedict for breakfast, hominy grits, and omelets, as well as sandwiches and other offerings. My favorite thing about the Islander Grill, besides the great value, is the people: Marco (manager), Ada, Leon, and Niko make it clear that your satisfaction is of personal importance to them! Live music and dancing (there is a dance floor inside) are also available! The Tiki Bar (poolside) has excellent Happy Hour offerings from 1:00 - 6:00 PM, including a drink of the day (which is always good), frozen drink and signature cocktails, and a well-stocked bar for traditional highballs and other cocktails. Some food entrees (including grouper bites!) are also available at Happy Hour. Cassandra, Ashley, Sydney, Lacey, and Lisa were all both technically competent as well as courteous and professional. If you are fortunate enough to be an owner or a guest at the Palm Beach Shores Vacation Villas and Resort, you can enjoy your cocktails and food poolside (including in the excellent hot tub!), alongside the restaurant but outside, at the Tiki Bar, or in the restaurant. If you go: don't miss the sea bass! (And admire the hand-painted tiles in the restaurant!)

Excellent New York style thin crust pizza. The real thing, not a big gooey pile of cheese and greasy crust like many pizzas so often are. This is great. Perfectly done. Salads are excellent, fresh high quality ingredients. Chicken wings also excellent, the smaller tastier ones as they should be, not massive freaks of nature with no flavor. Nice dry rub. My only issue and suggestion would be they should be spicier/hotter (specifically requested that). These are not very spicy or hot, but otherwise very good. They should include some hot sauce at least. Overall though the food is excellent and was delivered very quickly. Highly recommended.

Celebrated my husband's Birthday while visiting Riviera Beach. Delicious food. My husband and son had the Rib special. They raved on how they were so tender. My daughter, a Vegan had pasta primavera . She finished her generous portion, I had the Filet mignon with roasted potatoes and Broccoli. Best Steak I've had in years!! Island style drinks were Festive with generous pours. Atmosphere was very comfortable, cozy and understated classy. Live music added to the lovely atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive!! We will return our on next visit to Riviera Beach.

We were here twice this week. Cudos to the chef. I had one of the best salmon dishes ever and I order salmon twice a week. We sat at the bar. The bartender Jeff is great! The place was packed and we were amazed he was the only bar tender. He handled it well by servicing the bar area for food and drink and also handled all drinks ordered in the restaurant. He did this quietly with a smile! We will definitely be back!!!

We were very pleasantly surprised how good all the food was. Great happy hour and great service. The Beet Salad was amazing, the salmon and veggies were delicious, the pizza was crispy and tasty, the ahi tuna dish was to die for, fish tacos were plentiful, the $10 nachos were great. They have live entertainment also which was a nice touch. You can order from the tiki bar or from the inside restaurant. Highly recommend this place!!!

The restaurant. The hotel was amazing. You walked in. It had this wonderful smell to it. It had beautiful decorations. Very classy all over the place. Very elegant. The people were extremely kind, very professional. The food was amazing. Athena was waitress for me and my husband's 25th anniversary and she was amazing. She was extremely accommodating. Very kind, very thorough. Waited on us hand and foot. It was just an overall beautiful day. We got to go down to the beach and the water was amazing. Pool was beautiful by the hotel side. It's really worth going there. If I could give it more stars I would. The food was just what I had was outstanding and was for my husband too.

We had an awesome night!! Everyone enjoyed their food…my only complaint is that the prime rib was medium not medium rare and the grilled chicken in my salad was inedible, and had the texture of rubber but they took it off our check. Music was fantastic, we had a great time with dinner and dancing!

Remarkably charming family environment. I don’t believe anyone could’ve described it to me in advance. They had live music. My family was dancing. The setting was fun. It was a great time. It was not the world’s culinary experience. It was a good time with decent food and excellent people.

Food was unexpectedly amazing. Gonna be honest—judging by looks alone, I had low expectations (it’s a beach bar…). But dang. Frozen margs were amazing, steak was seasoned perfectly IMO (prime rib and filet mignon), and dessert was absolutely phenomenal. Service was fantastic! Our waitress was so friendly, helpful, and quick. Would recommend!

The restaurant and the Tiki Bar are located beside the pool which is very inviting. The restaurant has eating areas inside or out and the menu has a variety of different foods. It was nice to place a to go order for pizza and eat in our room one night on the balcony! The food is good and we have always had servers that are friendly, helpful and efficient. A solid place to eat several meals during our weekly stay.

Not trying to be funny/mean, but this place reminds me of a Bar Rescue episode: ticket times were long, they were understaffed during a moderately busy happy hour, drinks were way overpoured, and the food was just meh. Decent atmosphere, friendly enough wait staff, but nothing to write home about. Try the grouper bites. Best thing on the menu, but it's only on the happy hour menu.

I went here for dinner on a Saturday night. It was mildly busy, but the food took a very long time. The place is dated, especially for the price of the entrees. When you see the pictures in the menu, they were probably taken several years ago. I also went here because they have love music every evening. And that would be great if you like 1950s soul music. I will not be coming back.

It’s very nice inside but we sat out side because it was a nice morning last Sunday morning. My western omelette was OK but it was really an an open egg kind of a thing with two pieces of cheese on it. It was over cooked and I ordered grits and an English muffin and I got potatoes and Cold toast with no butter. My girlfriend ordered cinnamon oatmeal I had to ask twice to get the Cinnamon. I don’t know what’s going on but the service was very questionable and a server left food in the table and birds started flying around and eating it and right over top of us . Not sure I’ll go back.

We've been coming to the resort and using the Islander Grill. We had a chicken sandwich the roll was bigger than the chicken placed on it. Last night we went to dinner and I ordered a Mahi sandwich. What a joke. The owner is giving horrible portions while charging 19.00 for a sandwich. I'll never eat here again.

I’ve been coming to the Islander Grill & Tiki Bar for years as a regular outside guest. I love the bartenders and typically spend quite a bit on food, drinks, valet, etc. Historically, I’ve always been welcomed and allowed to enjoy the pool area while supporting the staff and the resort. On my most recent visit, the resort informed me of a policy change that prohibits outside guests from using towels, pool chairs, or any part of the pool area — even if they’re dining and spending money on property. I completely respect policies, but the communication was abrupt and inconsistent with past experiences, and it unfortunately made the visit feel unwelcoming. I hope management considers offering day passes or clearer communication on what outside guests can expect, as many nearby resorts do. The bartenders and valet remain wonderful, but the overall experience was disappointing this time.

Our server only came to our table a couple of times; most of the service was handled by another staff member whose name we didn’t catch. The service overall felt slow and indifferent. When the bill came, a tip had been added automatically. We didn’t feel the service justified it, so we asked the manager to adjust it, and he kindly issued a new receipt for us to add our own tip amount and sign. However, our bank statement later showed the original higher charge. When we called to resolve it, we were told to wait a couple of days. On follow-up, the person who answered refused to transfer us and hung up. We immediately called back and were greeted by the same voice, who then claimed to be the manager. We’re still waiting for a refund but it sounds like they are working on it. Unfortunately, due to the poor service and disorganized billing, we can’t recommend this restaurant.

Food was very good but we had an extremely rude waitress, Suzy. She was rude from the time we sat down. Never explained what came with the entree. I asked for bread and got a fresh response. Then to top it off she added the gratuity to our bill. We were only 2 people.
