Our waiter, Jose was awesome. We met at this location as a halfway mark with friends, which was Valentines day. They had cute decorations. Jose was very accommodating because we did not order right away. The food was really good.
Food and drinks can improve but overall good.. atmosphere and DJ was great.
We recently celebrated my wife’s birthday at this amazing Mexican restaurant, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and truly went above and beyond to make the night special. The servers were outstanding—attentive, friendly, and incredibly organized, especially with a larger birthday group. They made sure drinks were always filled, food came out promptly, and every guest felt taken care of. Their positive energy really added to the celebration. The food was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everything we ordered was a hit, and the birthday touches they added made my wife feel extra celebrated. If you’re looking for a place with delicious Mexican food and exceptional service for a special occasion, this is it. We’ll definitely be back! 🎉🌮
Celebrated our Superintendent's 40th Work Anniversary during our last visit!🎉🌟 They have authentic dishes that are so fresh and delicious. We love the patio for large groups. We use it often when needing space for a large group. The staff are very accommodating and make every visit feel as if we are at home, no rushing from the tables. We have also reserved it for Grace Church Life Group gatherings. The team serves groups very well with kindness and patience. Great service!👍🏽
We ate at the bar during Happy Hour on a Monday. Daniela/Charre was our most excellent bar tender!!! The street taco 🌮 (carnitas) and stuffed jalapeños were incredibly delicious!!! Our flavored margaritas were amazing!!!
Sandra M. is the best waitress there. I wish I could give her 10 stars. Food is always amazing as well
Great restaurant with top notch service and Delicious food. Large menu for many dishes n beverages. I ordered the Large Chicken Burrito which is also available in beef. The sauce it was bathed in was Flavorful n Delicious. Came with Rice and a side of Guacamole. Waiter checked in on me to refill my drink and if I needed anything else. Great bar and lots of indoor n outdoor seating. I highly recommend it.
We came here to celebrate my son’s 2nd Birthday. Our server was so sweet! I cannot remember her name but she brought everything out quickly. The food was amazing. We got a sizzle with chicken, beef, quail, and shrimp. Everything was very flavorful and had good level of seasoning. At the end our Server sang our son happy birthday. It was a good experience and I highly recommend getting the elote dip, pairs nicely with the tortilla chips.
Ooh la la! Los Cucos Mexican Cafe in Humble, Texas has truly outdone themselves with their Midnight Berry Rita. It's an explosion of refreshing berry goodness that's just perfect for a hot night. And that blue agave? It adds a subtle, smooth complexity that perfectly complements the fruity blend. Cheers to a drink worth savoring!
Our Los Cucos (249 near Tomball) burned down Summer 2023 and is still being rebuilt. We went here to get our Los Cocos fix. We had fajitas Los Cucos (chicken). Just as tasty as we remembered. Service was great. It was a nice surprise to see our favorite waitress from the 249 restaurant. Hope our Los Cucos will open soon! Thanks for a great meal!
We had a great time celebrating a birthday here! Our group of 7 was seated immediately and our waitress was awesome. Drinks came out quickly and our food didn’t take too long and came out hot and all our orders were correct. A fun addition we weren’t expecting was the photographer going around to tables taking pictures and offering prints for an extra charge - we bought two. The servers noticed we sang Happy Birthday to our friend and ended up bringing out a dessert for her. We had a great time. Would be happy to go back and to recommend to others.
I absolutely love coming here! I enjoy their food and their drinks. The menu even offers a page just for health alternatives that are also really good if you give them a chance. I especially like and favor their shrimp queso flameado, it tastes so good and goes well with their fresh flour Tortillas. And if you ask, they also have a service for fresh guacamole done in front of you. The staff are all pleasant to talk to, they do an exceptional job attending you and regularly checking up on you. The environment here is nice, I like the dim lights and the excess of TV displays around.
Very nice Mexican restaurant. The vibe was amazing! We had a party of 8 and was accommodated quickly. There was a DJ playing on the patio area, and it created a really good party atmosphere. The drinks were delicious and strong with excellent presentation. The food was excellent! The complimentary chips and salsas tasted great! The server, Alejandro, was very engaging and attentive. I loved everything about this place and definitely recommend this for good food and good vibes.
Reasonable prices, food was very good, timely, we ordered many different things, nice combo meals, fajitas were very good, stuffed avocado & carnitas as well, service was friendly & attentive (Jonathan), nice large place with good parking & seating, bathrooms are a big one for me because I believe if a restaurant has a dirty bathroom that guests can see, then the kitchen is worse, no soap in the bathroom means employees aren’t hand washing, & their bathrooms were clean. I eat out a lot (more than 5 times a week) & we loved it.

Their stuffed avocados are my favorite in the area! Love to go here with my family or for happy hour with my coworkers.
Sergito enchiladas were off the hook and service was great! Add horchata & the tres leches dessert & it made for an incredible spread.
Service is good, there was no water offered when drinking coffee, had to be requested. Other than that service is good. Menudo not that great, flavor was ok and chunks of menudo were huge. If you wanna eat menudo opt out for other smaller Mexican restaurants since this one is more of a texmex. Other dishes that we got were pretty good.
Our group of 9 arrived at 1:30pm and we're promptly seated. Place was not as busy as I expected so no wait times! Friendly efficient staff sorted out drinks and chips etc for everyone in double quick time. Food arrived and was hot and tasty. Often larger orders have at least one issue or one meal that waits while others are prepared but this was not the case here. Enjoyable experience for everyone with no issues or complaints. We will be back!!
It was my first time at this particular location. I had the Pollo Ixtapa. The chicken was a little salty, but the vegetables that came with it balanced it out a bit. The location seemed bigger than the one I usually go to. It was a nice lunch crowd but there was still lots of seating available. Overall, it was a pleasant, casual atmosphere. Our server was a sweet, helpful young lady. She was very patient and courteous.
I like this location but not better than the Kingwood location. If you are willing and or able to drive out to the Kingwood location I would recommend going there. Their servers are sometimes confused about what I ordered from the bar and I came in with a group of 15 for a table I had reserved and they put us outside in the middle of August. ugh. The fajitas are great and the salsa is always super tasty but this is not my favorite location due to service.

The greeter girls weren’t smiling or talkative. The food was very good. The service was horrible , the waiter didn’t comeback at all to check us out , we had to walk to the register. This place should get with the times and add an auto check out at tables. I prefer getting Mexican food at the small hole in the wall places.
We usually have a great time here and it typically gets 4-5 stars from me. This experience was but the same, unfortunately. The waitress was extremely rude, food was not all brought out together, and "tableside guacamole" was made in the back. Everyone has bad days so we'll be back, I'm sure. Just an unfortunate experience for my sister's birthday that we were celebrating.
The two girls at the entrance didn't greet us nor smile. they just looked at us until we spoke. The waitress was great and kept checking up on us, but the food could have been better. The rice, beans, and enchiladas tasted like it was dry, and the caldo had 2 pieces of meats 1 corn in half and 1 potatoe, for the price could have a little extra. Even leaving the 2 hostess didn't tell us goodbye like they did to some others. Their customers' service sucks even for not being packed today.
Bartender didn't give much service. Food tasted good, but has the cost of red onions risen to the price of gold? They either won't give extra or they give too much extra and charge the price of a…
The taste of the food was ok but they over priced much of their menu , the service was good can't complain...the scenery was also good for entertainment
Below average food presentation, texture, flavor and quantity. Uncomfortably loud music. Negligent table service. Food was not the worst ever, but far, far from the best and really less than average. The cheese enchiladas were the least flavorful I have ever had and had an unappealing texture. The rice seemed overly moist or wet and seemed to have set up for a while and had become somewhat mushy. The refried beans, as basic an item as they are, were not very desirable and only had a few specs of cheese on then. The quantity of food provided was less than traditionally received at all, and I do mean ALL, of the other Mexican food restaurants I have been to their my lifetime. The cheese chip dip itself was not at all creamy and had a less than desirable flavor and was a waste of money. The others with me agreed that the food they received was very average at best, especially for the price we paid of nearly $100 for three people, including two margaritas. The table server was very unattentive. He was young and likely not very experienced in the workforce or service industry. I mostly remained with an unfilled glass of tea through most of my meal. We had to constantly seek out and get someone's, anyone's attention for some amount of service. However, our server did provide constant attention to the table next to us, but even when we made eye contact that displayed a need for service, he simply looked away and went on about checking his cell phone or focused on serving the table next to us. We also made eye contact with at least 2 other employees who walked by displaying a need for service. They simply looked away and went on about their business. El Refu down the street puts this location to total shame, offering better food, greater quantity, excellent service, and better prices, however, really loud music on the weekend night making eating there unbearable. Las Palomas just up the road also outshines Los Cucos in all areas of service, quantity and quality of food. Jose's in the Highlands also destroys this location with incredible, homestyle, South of the border, rich and delicious Mexican food in quantities that leave us seeking a wheel barrow so we can be rolled out to our car once done stuffing our bellies to the gills. Jose's even beats El Refu and Las Palomas. I will never return to Los Cucos on purpose. I found nothing satisfying about the food, service or experience. In spite of the poor service, we did leave a $20 tip. And my hope is someone will mentor the table service provider so that he may grow, improve and succeed. ☮️❤️✌️

Ordered a lunch special online and my choices weren't available at the listed price for some reason. It's not my fault, the store should have it correct on the website when ordering. They called me to say I can't get 2 tacos for lunch even though it's an option. Ended up getting upcharged on my lunch which defeated the whole point of a lunch special. Ever since then I refuse to go back. I've spent hundreds of dollars there but crying over a few dollars when it was something that wasn't my fault. I'm good, so many other places to get Mexican food in town.
