Everything tasted great, except for the french fries. They were too skinny. They got cold faster than we could eat them. All and all we had a lovely dinner.

Went on a lunch date. It was really busy when we arrived but we were able to be seated at a booth in the back area. We had a wonderful server! We ordered a burger and the broccoli with lemon juice and cheese, steamed broccoli and six cheese toast plus drinks. The atmosphere is always fantastic and the food is always delicious! If you enjoy Tully's I highly recommend trying Coppertop out. The food choices are outstanding, fresh, and tasty. The staff is very outgoing, friendly, and energetic. Plenty of food choices to choose from as well as drinks.

We stopped in after leaving glory days tattoo for some a late lunch. Food, drinks and service is out of this world. Our server bre was amazing. She held conversations and was pleasant. Great place, real food. You're crazy to go to the not so fast, fast food joints, and spend almost as much for mystery meat. Copper Top is consistent in quality and service no matter which ever location i go to. Can't beat their lunch specials!

The food was very tasty and the meal that I had was HUGE, really enough for two people. Great selection of beers and the starters weren’t just the usual ones. I was a bit bummed that pretty much all the pasta selections had some sort of spice to them (except Mac and cheese, but I wasn’t in the mood for that). Our server was pleasant but after the food came, they totally forgot about us and we waited over a half hour for them to ask if we wanted to-go boxes. Way too long. Meanwhile, the server’s other tables at least got some attention. And it really wasn’t crazy busy. But we will definitely go there again!

What a beautiful, cozy restaurant. We took our one year old and the restaurant was accommodating for kids. We shared the spinach dip with homemade pasta chips. We have never had pasta chips and loved every bite. I ordered the chicken parm and I have a full dinner for tomorrow as you can see in the picture. The crispy breaded chicken and mozzarella cheese on top was perfect. My husband got the pub burger topped with bleu cheese, mushrooms, and bacon. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, Rebecca our waitress was attentive and kind, and the prices were reasonable. We will return.

First timer and loved their food. The wine was also very good! Our waitress was both attentive and knowledgeable. When I come back to NY, I will definitely stop by for some delicious food and lay back at a casual restaurant. I hear nights are very busy, so get there early.

Solid choice of medium priced restaurants. I can honestly say I have never gotten anything I don't like here. My personal favorite dish is the Bang Bang shrimp and pasta! I also recommend the pot roast. You cannot go wrong coming here, I highly recommend!

CopperTop feels like old reliable for us. It's an easy crowd pleaser for a variety of tastes and you're almost always guaranteed a good to great meal. That's not to say old reliable doesn't keep it fresh, because they do. New items appear frequently enough to get you excited and the oldies but goodies stick around for you need a comforting friend. Prices are reasonable, always enjoyed the service and staff and a nice ambience/decor inside.

Busy enough spot to go to for dinner, even on a Wednesday. If you don't mind a bit of a messy sandwich, then the Pesto chicken sandwich is the one for you! Also can't go wrong with a $7 dollar martini deal on Wednesdays as well. Lovely mint flavoured drink with their Winter wonderland martini

Coppertop is a staple. Heading home for the holidays. Stop at Coppertop. The food is always amazing. The staff is great. The prices, especially the lunch specials and the happy hour specials, all great. I love me a good pub pizza and coppertop does pub pizza better than anyone else out there. Soup. Gooood. Pizza. Gooood. Fries. Amazing. What else can I say? Don't care if there's a wait time. I'll wait.

Portions are very large and everything came out fresh and hot. All staff were super friendly and very accommodating. Atmosphere is super cool and everything was clean. Prices are comparable with other places in the mid range but you are getting a lot of food. The sandwiches are the best along with the zucchini fries.

Copper Top is always serving consistently good food. I've never had a bad meal over the several years of going there. However, the wait to get seated is usually pretty rough. Using an app to alert when your table is ready only further breaks down communication. Maybe people still like to have their place in line remembered and also like to be approached when the table is ready. There are parties who walk in after I do getting seated before me, every time. These are not call-ahead patrons, as they are asking what the wait is like upon arrival. It's also never a 10-20 minute wait time. It's too difficult to guess when people will sit, be served, eat and leave. I understand most people would leave if they're told it's an hour wait, but some of us woul much rather appreciate the honesty. That is my only issue, yet I still will leave a five star review. The food is absolutely carrying the front end service. The hostess station is often chaotic where it appears to have little organization between the servers zones. I could be wrong, but that is my observation. A little tweak here and there would make for a pretty perfect restaurant. Keep up the great food!

I love this place. Always have and always will, because of the cheese bread and even more because of the Avocado Egg rolls. For a while the rolls changed (or the chef changed) and I started to lose heart due to a sudden addition of lots of onions (which I know is not a quality issue but a personal preference) and stopped ordering them. HOWEVER- I decided to test the waters again, and they were back to the ones I loved! Creamy and delicious!

CopperTop Tavern is a GREAT place!!! We are visitors to the area and someone recommended it to us and boy- are we happy they did!!!! We really enjoyed our time there. I ordered a Shirley Temple and it came with not one cherry- but five!!! I loved it!! We then ordered truffle fries as an appetizer. They were thin and yummy!! We ate the whole thing!!! I ordered the Blackened Salmon. It was cooked to perfection and was served over a bed of delicious rice and seasonal vegetables. My husband ordered their Meatloaf and he loved it. Unfortunately, because we ate all the Truffle Fries- neither one of us was able to finish our meals. Trust me- we tried to eat it all, but to no avail!!! Our Server was very friendly and competent and had a smile on her face the whole time. If you are in the Syracuse area- you need to eat at the CopperTop Tavern!!

We came to CopperTop for the first time and are so glad we gave it a try. Everything here was so damn good, but the stone fire wings were phenomenal. They were so crispy and flavorful and came with some sort of magical sauce. For the entrees we got a French onion burger and steak and pepper sandwich, both with fries. Everything was super hot, fresh, and tasty! To drink we got a honey bourbon mule and a prickly pear margarita. The margarita was so smooth and tasty, I could have drank a bunch of them. The service was great too, everyone was super friendly. A lady who I assumed was the manager seemed very engaged and came around to ask us how everything was. All around it was a wonderful experience and we can't wait to go back.

This place is darling. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is super sweet and welcoming. My grandparents are regulars and I tag along when I visit them, the bartender (Shannon!) remembers my name and asks me about events in my life and I see her maybe 4 times a year. The food is delicious, fast, and high quality. The drinks are good too. It's just a great place I highly recommend, you'll never regret a visit to CopperTop Tavern.

Hands down outstanding customer service. We made an error in ordering from the wrong copper tops. when i got to the restaurant and order wasn’t there we quickly figured it out with the Ashleigh up front who was very friendly. She called the manager and the manager Lorraina handled the cancellation and reorder seamlessly and expedited my order . Outstanding!!

Big fan of this place! Prices were reasonable (I expected much higher) and the food was delicious. We normally don't do an app AND dessert but everything just looked so good we had to try it! Did not get the chance to inspect the roof to verify which precious metal it was, so I'll take their word for it.

Some of my family came in (around 8pm in a Tuesday) meeting a few other family members after the calling hours for my mother. In order to try to all sit together - or as close as possible - tables were moved and staff was wonderful making things happen for our party. Francis Fu and the servers we had were all kind, helpful, and accommodating after an emotional and tiring day. One of my cousins had flown in from CO (and was delayed because - of course the flight was delayed) and missed the calling hours but it was a very comfort spot for our family to gather, eat, have a beverage, and talk. I truly appreciate that there was helpful staff as we blew in and weren’t sure what the best plan was for us or the establishment and we were able to be together. Thanks for making that night less about having to switch anything there and more about us being together.

First timer at this Coppertop location. It was Valentines day, so I expected to wait. 40 minutes was the projection and we actually were seated a few minutes earlier then that. There were 7 of us, each of us ordering a variety of entrees and appetizers. No one was disappointed. The portions were very generous and everything was delicious. I normally eat everything on my plate, but not today. Our waitress was a doll, making sure everyone was satisfied. I mentioned to her of my allergy to soy and she made note of it. I know this because the manager made a special trip out, making sure that this was addressed. That speaks volumes. I only give credit where credit is due. This restaurant is the real deal. Great food, great atmosphere, very reasonable prices and a feeling when you leave, that they did everything they could to make your dining experience as good as it could possibly get!

Such a great find—Copper Kettle really shines when it comes to vegetarian and vegan options. The menu isn’t an afterthought at all; it’s clear there’s real care put into plant-based dishes. Everything was flavorful, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared, not just “meatless.” As someone who pays attention to quality ingredients and balance, I was genuinely impressed. It’s refreshing to go to a place where vegetarians and vegans have multiple satisfying choices instead of one token option. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly service, and food that actually makes you want to come back.

My girlfriend and myself ate here Monday. We started with the French Onion Fondue it was so amazing if you haven't had it definitely try it. My girl got the Buffalo Mac & Cheese she said it was delicious perfect amount of spice, I got the Pasta Bolognese wow It blew me away with the flavor but if you dont like sausage idk if you would like it. Maybe you can ask without sausage just to try it lol.

I cannot say enough good about Copper Top Tavern in North Syracuse. My friend and I seated ourselves at the bar and were promptly greeted by Shannon and could tell by her welcoming smile we were in good hands. She was very attentive throughout our meal which enhanced the whole dining experience. So many great menu items to choose from and enjoyed everything we ordered. Thank you again Shannon for the wonderful time and will definitely be back!

Another great meal on a very busy holiday weekend. With an online booking the wait for a table was only ten minutes and were able to get drinks at the bar in the meantime. Avocado egg rolls are my favorite at every visit, and all the entrees were delish as usual. I’m not sure the name of the chicken dish buried in a heaping pile of salad was but it had a light and airy lemony breading so tasty. The cosmopolitan was a bit tart for my liking but you can never go wrong with martinis! Pomegranates my forever favorite! Great service, will be back soon! Another fun visit pre holiday to Copper Top! They never seem to disappoint great food, service and cocktails! Festive ambiance in the bar area! Stormin Norman dropped by our table to check on us as well and had a lovely chat! My brother visits from Boston and always loves Copper Top. Actually he returned over Christmas visit for wings as well!

I'm keeping everything else as a 5 because overall I still love this place! Update: this place is still awesome! Friendly server, delicious food, tons of beer options and well priced! Stopped on our way back to Canada and it did not disappoint! Food was DELICIOUS. Also, staff were friendly and prices were good! We will definitely be back.

Late lunch. Dined from the Lunch Special menu. Fish and chips for me and pizza and salad for my friend. $12.95 each. Fish was of a good portion, batter fried coating was crisp and crunchy but not greasy. Loved the fries, and I'm not a big fan of fries. But these reminded me of potato sticks and they were crispy and very good! Pizza and salad was of very good portion. Crispy crust, just right. Salad had tomato, shredded cheese, cucumber with Italian dressing (many dressings to choice from). Coffee was perfect! Water, ginger ale, and unsweetened tea. No dessert, to full!! Price just shy of $40.00.

We enjoy eating at the various CopperTop locations (between Binghamton and Syracuse), this is one of our favorites. The staff is very friendly and food always excellent. The portion sizes are always generous, and if you have an appetizer, you’re sure to have a leftover snack. My only complaint is that it was SUPER COLD in there. The A/C was cranked to the max, so I was wishing that I had a long sleeved shirt.

We stumbled on this tavern on our way from location to location on our trip to the east coast USA. Some stumbles are meant to be like this one. This is a magnificent place. The fish taco was astonishing as was their vegetarian cheese burger. The desserts were unbelievable too. The service was friendly and caring. I’d give this 10 stars if I could. I’d love to go back but we’re moving on in the trip. If you’re in this area, this would be a wise choice.

Went here for lunch/dinner and it was an absolutely awesome experience! From the beginning, the staff was super SUPER friendly and helpful. We were a party of seven and were seated immediately. Our server, Jordan, was engaging and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Our food took a little while to come but the manager was really kind and gave us an order of (excellent!) chicken tenders on the house! When the food came, it was honestly one of the best food I’ve ever had in my life! I ordered the buffalo Mac and cheese and everything about it was perfect! The cheese mix was luscious, the chicken was juicy and the whole combination worked together so well! Their portions are freaking massive! I almost never don’t finish my meal but I had to take home half of it!!! Another one in our party got the bang bang chicken pasta dish and I was blown away by how freaking good it was! We also tried their steak and I can confidently say that it is the juiciest and most tender steak I have ever tried! Throughout our time here, the waitstaff was super kind and ready to help! We decided to get some dessert to go and that took a little while to get done too but yet again the manager was very sympathetic and gave us gift cards for CopperTop as an apology. Overall our experience was a 10/10 and I would STRONGLY encourage anyone who is even remotely close to Syracuse to come here! We will be back here for sure! (Just as a side note, even if the manager hadn’t given us everything he gave us, this review would still have been a 5 star rating! I don’t want this to come across as me being ungrateful; this is meant to be a compliment to how good this place is overall!)

During a recent work trip to Syracuse I stumbled upon CopperTop Tavern. A quick google search on maps led me to pics of their dishes and I knew my quest for dinner was over. Upon arriving, we decided to sit at the bar and were welcomed by Shannon. Shannon was AMAZING and provided excellent recommendations for both food and drinks! Shannon let us know about all their specials, and I decided to go with their Wood Fired Wings - WOW! Some of the best wings I’ve had! The food was so good we decided to come back again the following day - had to get their wings again but also decided to try their pizza 🤌🏾 One thing I observed is that all of the bartenders and servers smiled and said hello to everyone - each team member made you feel welcomed! Also bonus points that it was a Wednesday and they have Martinis for $7 🍸 ✅ If you are in the Syracuse area and looking for excellent food and service - make sure to try CopperTop Tavern and even better if you get Shannon as your bartender! 💯

It's a large restaurant, so don't freak out if the parking lot is fairly full. We arrived around 7:15 on a Thursday evening in July. Only a handful of parking spots were available but we were seated after only 25 minutes of waiting. The atmosphere is sporty but dark almost like a steak house in a pleasant sort of way. They offer gluten free options, which was a must for one of my traveling companions. They don't skimp on the salad dressing, so ask for it on the side if you prefer to portion it out. I ordered the hibachi salmon and I would order it again in a heartbeat because it was so delicious. Thanks CopperTop for the great meal and pleasant experience.

First time visit last night with my bff and we were very impressed! great food, prices, and service. Our booth was comfortable and quiet. Drinks well made, salads were interesting (if you eat as many as we do - it gets boring after awhile!) and there plenty of sumptuous appetizers to choose from. My only complaint was that there aren't enough real gluten free vegetarian alternatives. If you want to try the dip there aren't GF crackers- I get not having bread but crackers are easy to buy in bulk and stay fresh long enough. None of the salads were gf but I was able to eliminate the gluten ingredients.

I visited Coppertop on Friday June 23rd while on vacation and I got the chicken tenders. Service was okay, got the drink wrong the first time and food was a 4/5. Just better than average but nothing to write home about so wouldn’t return.

Good food and Cocktails. A little bit on the expensive side for what they offer. Half-price martinis on Wednesday are definitely worth checking out.

Large restaurant with an extensive menu, great happy hour options, fun ambiance and wonderful service. The tavern type food is excellent; everything we had was well done and tasty. The special, steak Italiano, was superb, tender, juicy and tasty. The burger was cooked properly, juicy and tasty. The salad with chicken was huge and very tasty.

I ordered the Shepherd’s Pie and my wife had the Ahi Tuna Bowl. Both tasted good but nothing overwhelming. The decor is ok but kind of dark and it was absolutely FREEZING inside! The outside temp was only 72 so there was no need to blast the A/C. The service was on point and the beer was ice cold. The Manager checked in to see how things were, so overall, a descent lunch.

This has become one of my weekly favorites. Great selection of food and drink. Good management and friendly servers along with a nice family sports bar atmosphere. If you use the lunch or pizza card, you can even get a free one every now and then!

1st visit here: Francis was a great waiter, and my food was very good. I really enjoyed my Blueberry and Bacon salad and I added Ahi Tuna to it. My Bloody Mary was very good too, but I couldn't really taste the alcohol. I wanted a Sirloin Steak, but they did not have any on the menu. :( I only ordered two things and my bill was $36 without tip. That seemed like a lot.

Went there Wednesday for lunch. My "medium well" burger was blood rare and barely warm. fries are like potato sticks.

Though it was a pretty busy night we got a table relatively fast. Our server was good and the food was tasty and priced well. Overall, a good experience.

I usually love the food here and the portions are large and quality is usually spot on. This Friday I ordered two fish sandwiches to go and I added an order of french fries because I was under the impression that I was just ordering sandwiches. I got home to discover that fries came with my fish sandwiches. I'm still upset a day later because I feel your staff seems uninformed about your menu, because if they were they would have informed me that fries were included. I feel they really didn't care enough to tell me and for the amount of money I spent at your establishment it will be a good while before I'll be back.

Drinks are great, variety is great. Fries are not great and taste like veggie straws, thin and hard, even early in the day. We got there at opening and the line was long enough to fill at least half the restaurant. Otherwise we've waited 45 min in the past. Servers tend to forget to bring Parmesan cheese or napkins when you ask, but at least this time the manager came out when she realized the order got messed up and offered to fix it before we noticed.

So excited about the Crab Rangoon dip but it truly just tasted like a melted crab cake. The double burger was great. The duck Bánh mì didn’t have a spice marker next to it so I thought I was safe but I tried to get through half of it with some weird spicy heat on it - and also just way too much savory, not a good mix of any brightness in the slaw - and when I told the server she came back to tell me there were jalapeños on it and it didn’t say it on the menu. They took it off our bill. The place was pretty though.

Not really our kind of place. Was decent priced though. The nachos were tasty. More like pizza nachos instead of taco nachos, as everyone else has. I think thier more of a pizza and beer kind of joint, and we are steak/seafood and vodka type of people. Lol. I tried the "new" orange smash drink. Not bad at all. But my fiance didn't like his bloody mary...they were kind enough to take it off the bill after seeing he didn't drink it. They have a few Chinese dishes in the mix. My daughter tried the Kung pao. I got the fish and babe got bang bang shrimp.

We got avocado rolls it was delicious. For entrees we got French dip hamburger and chicken Maria it was delicious. Not cheap but not overpriced at all either . It was quite nice.

Not a pleasant experience when we walked in. The hostess at the front desk was very rude & did not exhibit any customer service skills. Told her we needed a table for 2 & she told us there would be a 30 minute. Gave her out name then she said go outside & wait now! I was like wow really, it's 15 degrees outside & there's not a single other soul in the lobby, then the hostess next to her said, "it's OK, they can wait inside". So I asked is there anything at the bar available, as I saw some empty chairs on the corner on the bar & the first rude hostess says no they're all full. And let me tell you, she can't see the bar from where she's at & was clearly being her rude self & didn't want to be bothered to go check so I walk around the corner to look & there's three different spots open at the bar so I go back to the hostess & the 2nd hostess checks & says yes there are spots, we just need to clean them off first. The spots were cleaned off & we were seated at the bar. After that, our bartender was friendly & courteous & everything was good after that.

The pizza ovens were down limiting the options on the menu. We were not informed of this until we were seated despite waiting 20 minutes to sit. Almost all the things we wanted were not available. They should have had the hostess inform people upon arrival to make decision easier to go elsewhere but that would have meant losing business. Food was average at best for what was available.

The food is okay, big portions but that's about it. I had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy. The plate was hot but the food was lukewarm and the gravy was pretty gloppy. Still, it wasn't too awful. One of our party had the chicken Gouda sandwich and said the chicken was dry, and another person said the spinach artichoke dip was really thick. Our waitress was good, always asking if we needed anything, so we appreciated that. They don't accept reservations, they didn't allow outside food so if you're celebrating an event, forget the cake. They also don't sing it offer a free dessert to the birthday person either 🫤. It's an ok place, but not my top choice for a restaurant even though it's only five minutes away.

Probably one of the worst places I've been. Their food is so unbelievably bland no seasoning bearly any flavor. Their staff seemed very hostile for whatever reason. Not a good experience for me. But based on the reviews I guess this isnt a common issue.... seems strange. The food is just too expensive for what it is.

Today went in for lunch party of 2 - first thing that happened - restaurant barely had any people - out of 6 booths 3 were occupied one was dirty - hostess tried sitting us in a middle table for 6 - that felt off right away - then comes waitress - offers drinks and goes to ask for ID - we are out of state residents working in this area, then states oh I need a credit card to confirm with ID — What?? Oh it’s policy. I argued up to manager that if my ID is a real ID you should not have to verify with anything else - she tries to tell me how this is to protect their liquor license cause minors cannot take out credit cards - I remind them legal age to drink is 21 and credit cards can be taken out at 18 and even before that as a joint account with a parent - that what happens if I come in with cash and my ID? Goes on explaining how it’s policy and it’s about protecting their liquor license and that she was “sorry you felt offended” - ma’am your policy does not make sense - sounds more like a discriminatory practice against people with lower income. Of course I cancelled order and left! I want to see the “written policy” from corporate on this! Don’t know if food was good or not but I’m not giving my money to a restaurant that cannot even get up to date with government practices for age verification.

Food is good, have had meals here many times and catered to our office by pharmaceutical reps. Today in our Harvest salad we found this l, kinda gross...I know it's a head of field greens lettuce but it's gross and old. There should be some form of quality control that ensures this doesn't happen...people make mistakes but this was gross...Pic is attached.

We tried Coppertop for the first time Friday, February 27. We will never go back. The burgers weren’t good. No seasoning at all. The meat was dry. The fries that came with it were almost cold. Our table at the booth we were seated was so sticky and dirty that our drinks stuck to the table. I didn’t eat most of my burger and the waitress never asked me if there was a problem with the food. It’s so loud in the restaurant that carrying on a conversation is out of the question. Very disappointed.
